Pluto TV

It was all right for a while, now it is ALL screwed up---you pick a TV series you want to watch and it either shunts you to a guide page or some program you never chose. It FIRST started screwing up by not continuing with following episodes/seasons, then you had to retry for connections... WTF IS WRONG WITH IT?!?! I hope it will CHANGE.

Watching back to back and endless commercials about the Hardrock cafe drives me frequently to pay channels. Watching the same commercials back to back and on numerous channels simultaneously is torture. At least on pay channels the commercials are varied. I will NEVER visit the Hardrock cafe solely because of those repeat, repeat, repeat ads is mental torture. Great way to break a prisoner to make him talk!

I can live with the incessantly repetitive commercials, but Pluto TV repeat the same few Doctor Who episodes for months now... why? There are so many to choose from, yet we get the same ones, over, and over, and over again. Seems like an effective torture, but entertainment...? Not really... maybe that's the point.

By far my favorite thing to watch until Pluto TV keep updating. They took away ridiculousness so I was forced to fail army which is nothing but replays. Now they took that off and put some absolutely horrid show called fail five with the most annoying female host I've ever seen I can't watch it. I recommended this many a time but not anymore.

I've noticed a big theme reading other reviews, that being people getting tired of the left wing garbage that's pushed on Pluto and it's getting worse. I'm fed up with it too. Shut the hell up, keep politics out of it, and let me watch Dr Who without trying to convince me of lies such as that women in America are the most oppressed humans on the planet, or that CNN is an unbiased fact based news channel. Also that the Young Armenians... I mean Young "Turks", the epitome of leftwing hatred and intolerance, have their channel pushed regularly.

I was excited at first but I'm a now very disappointed the relentless repetitive commercials just ruins the viewing experience. No exaggeration I saw the same Cheddar News commercial 3 times in 10 minutes, and the horrible My Pillow commercials are played over and over. Nothing but disappointment wouldn't recommend this to anyone

I'm not much of a TV person and only have antenna tv. My daughter thought I might enjoy a bigger selection of channels so she got me a ROKU box. She set it up with Pluto, Roku and Plex. Pluto has one program that I watch. Leverage. I'm stunned that yesterday Pluto TV were cutting off the end of each episode and starting the next one but they had no problem running ads or just their logo on the screen for 20 seconds. Today they finished season 3 and went to season 1. No idea what happened to seasons 4 and 5. I don't think they know the meaning of "binge watching". Their advertising is the worst I have ever seen. They play way too many "no more truth in advertising" ads from far left PACS. They aren't promoting a candidate, it's just a hatchet job against the president. They even play the same ad twice in one commercial break. I'm not impressed at all and would never recommend them to anyone.

Pluto comes for free with my Comcast subscription. So, I decided to watch a movie on it. When I backed out to do something and came back later to resume watching, there was no way I found to resume. That's #1. #2. I started at the beginning and started to fast forward to where I left off. Can't fast forward through commercials. #3. The same commercial ran what seemed like every 5 minutes. (not a short one either). I finally got to my stopping point. I watched the balance of the movie (watching that same commercial over and over again every couple minutes).

I think, if an interesting movie is only available on Pluto, I will skip it.

Tubi and Peacock are far superior for movies.

There is a streamlining issue with one of there tv shows that I've addressed more the. A 1/2 dozen times. I've probably gotten two reply backs saying the ticket is closed and if you reply with explaining the issue a human will get back to you. Total radio silence on there end, Pluto TV just don't care what the viewers want.

Where the rest of the episodes? The series ran from 1966 to 1971 but you are only running to 1968 where are the rest of them. Are you people that damn stupid that you can, t put all the episodes on? Well i won't take chance and start watching something else and not get to watch all of it I'll watch some other channel

Good show content butPluto TV constantly play stupid covid/biden/ warnock advertisements over and over 2,3 and even 4 times in a row! This is frustrating and ridiculous. Like Chinese propaganda over and over er! Where are other advertisements? Only a few here and there. So sick of this liberal crap being shocked down our throat!

I have Pluto TV on my Amazon Fire TV stick. There is a limited ability to view a channel guide. There is a horrible problem with buffering., I have several other apps on the Fire TV stick and those do not have buffering issues. Nor do I have these issues streaming from other sources and apps on my laptop or tablet.

Clearly Pluto tv has no desire to promote American values, ideas, integrity or what this country was founded on.
Not exactly viewed as being American. Or even wanting to be. Judging by the content constantly being advertised viewers can't help but voice their opinions. Some going further than a yr back. Past or present the feedback is consistent with a liberal, socialist Democrat agenda narrative. With frequent advertising focused largely on sexual content views and beliefs. No concern or consideration of viewer perceptions, opinions, acceptance. Viewers strong suggestions, outrage, words, ultimatums, disgust, unexcepting, thoughts to improve better viewing for up coming viewers is a sad corporate ploy seen as if Pluto TV care. Obviously they do not.
It's easy to see this company has no respect towards the viewers, society, beliefs or anything else. They make it almost impossible to be contacted to address viewers concerns. Giving them a list of options aimed at not finding an answer, just frustrated, annoyed and finally give up. 100s of sites use these same tactics avoiding any interaction to the customers. A list of unuseful options, live chat, community boards, forums or blogs. Any online service, or store you go to and you see this for support and no actual phone or email contact, the company don't want to be bothered they just want to make money... greedy. Many should not be allowed to become rich off of customers they treat despicable, no appreciation or gratitude. Many being in China or connected to them. There's 100s and 100s of apps and online services on Google, iPhone, Apple, Samsung etc app stores are from CCP. I want nothing to do with anything China.
PS. Stop turning off the app in the middle of a show when going to the bathroom, answering phone, warming baby bottle. Why is it your concern if I'm watching or not? It involves my resources not yours.

Too many commercials, always lags. Very very slow. The guide is never up to date. Constant reruns. Can't pause. Can't rewind. Can't fast forward. It's definitely the last choice for free TV. This app has one thing going for it that's dog the bounty Hunter. But Pluto TV keep showing the same one's over and over with tons of commercials

I used to watch Pluto more than anything on my smart TV, but I am seriously considering a new TV program for free tv. The shows need updated, too many repeat episodes and movies. The Verizon/Frontier commercials are SUPER ANNOYING because Pluto TV play EVERY commercial break and they are the same singing ones of the house flipper and the quintuplets. I am so tired of these commercials! UPDATE SHOWS, MOVIES AND COMMERCIALS! If these updates are done, this would be a much better way to watch TV.

The buffering is super annoying because it covers the video with a loading screen but plays audio for like 10 seconds after, and often when it finally loads its plays 20 seconds or so behind where you were at. Super annoying. I get that its free and idc about ads, but holy damn that buffering is annoying! Also, Joey Steel didn't do anything wrong!

If you told me I could get free cable tv (200+ channels) and all I needed to do was have an app and watch commercials, before pluto i would have called you a liar. Pluto is the best free option ive come across for cord cutters, the selection is great, you can watch on demand, it's easy enough to use my parents replaced their cable with it.

Two things: 1. If you don't have a question that Pluto thinks you might ask, you won't get an answer because Pluto does not allow you to ask them. You can't even make suggestions for improvements. 2. You can't do a title search of their selection of programs. If you are looking for something specific you have to spend all your life reading all of their titles to see if Pluto TV have it.

I was happy to see I could watch movies for free, even though they're mostly b rated movies and cheesy television series. But, when I went to look for fox news, it was all news stations totally biased to the left. Then it all made sense why its free. I would give it no stars if I could. I guess it came free with my phone from at&t cause I never installed it from the play store.

Pluto TV is one of the few streaming websites out there that are free, which is nice. Although, I can't bring myself to give it more than two stars being of the annoyance of the ads. I was trying to was a move called "30 Days of Nights." Personally, it's not a very good movie, but I'm not here to review the movie, I'm here to review the streaming service. I can't describe how excruciatingly irritating it is to have an ad pop up every ten minutes. It doesn't even give you a warning. Personally, I'm one of those people that wouldn't mind a warning, because it simply tells me that Pluto TV care about our experience, and that they would like to tell us ahead of time. Although, the amount of ad usage is unhealthy and not okay. Even during the somewhat good parts of the movie, there's a sudden ad popping up. I would rant more, but that would be wasting my time. In summary, if you don't mind the annoyance of ads popping up on your screen with a free streaming service, then Pluto TV is good for you.
Besides the negatives, there are some positives. The movies and series are good, and are there for people that cannot access streaming services that cost money. I'm the type of person to get irritated easily, so maybe I'm overreacting about the ads, but it is annoying. But anyways, I'm going to watch the second movie despite how crappy the first one was, because I'm curious about what happens next.

Trying to view live movies and TV series is impossible on Pluto--unless you don't care about following the storyline. Commercial breaks sometimes don't return to the point in the movie or TV episode you were watching at the point where it left off, but continue showing ads and more ads. More often, at the end of the commercial break, Pluto returns to the point you left off at the previous break, ie, the part you had just seen! Adding insult to injury, it skips the art you would have seen. Thus you miss a big chunk of the plot and watch a previous chunk twice. The problem is on their end, not mine. I never have this problem with Prime, Tubi, Roku, and other streaming services. If people were doing the programming, Pluto TV should have caught and corrected this. Which is why I say robots must run Pluto. Which is why I also say don't waste your time with Pluto.
