Power Tool Mate

Was a regular customer, but recently order an item and received it with a quarter of the box packaging missing. Terrible way to serve that to a customer. Was replied back stating that they checked their cctv and found no faults during their packaging processes and that it must've been damaged in transit. But the package was fine with very minor scruffs when delivered, this does not explain the missing quarter of the package that exposes the actual product. I expected better of powetoolmate. To think it is acceptable to send a item like that in that condition. And no follow up as long as the item inside is intact.

used PTM before on various occasions and have always been 100% happy, this time however I had paid the premium for Saturday delivery, long before the cut off too, but unfortunately, when I got the tracking info it was showing a MON delivery, Saturday came and went, Monday morning item arrived, wouldn't mind so much but I had to chase for a refund as opposed to automatically getting it as apparently it was known about, it won't stop me buying from again but a bit more forethought wouldn't go amiss.

I ordered a Domino XL DF 700 some months back , the order was confirmed, however there had been a mistake and they had no stock. I had a discount code . So they said they would honour the price I had previously paid .
When it came back in stock , they notified me via emailI. I placed my order , it arrived two days later. . Delighted with that service . Thanks to John McGarry for keeping his word .

Good website easy to order good products and prices great competition’s and prizes. I found out about power tool mate through a friend. I like Milwaukee tools but unfortunately there are no dealers in my area that stock a large selection of Milwaukee tools. Delivery was not on time but that was No fault of power tool mate or the courier flight delays was the problem. I will be buying more from power tool mate.

A trustworthy and reliable source of power tools and accessories, very competitive on pricing with brilliant delivery times. Ever since my first purchase a couple or so years ago, I have turned to PowerToolMate for my power tools. In this particular instance, I had set up a request to be sent a notification when a product I was looking for was out of stock. The notification came through with even better pricing. Thumbs up!

First of all they deliver a exceptional service I place an order with power tool mate and realise that I forgot to add on the faster delivery. Simply phoned up to speak to a very helpful advisor to be told that I did not have to upgrade the postage as it had already been dispatched and sure enough it was here the following day. There’s not a lot of point either trying to find a better deal else where as I find there prices to be the best around will 100 percent carry on using this company and hopefully many more people do to.

I originally rang up to place an order, the person I spoke too had no idea about the tool I was looking for, and clearly no knowledge or understanding about tools whatsoever, which was frustrating when I was about to spend a lot of money.
However, the lady was very polite, and directed me to your website, which was easy to navigate, find what I wanted, and place my order. The tool came the next day (impressive) exactly as ordered. Will certainly be using power tool mate again, but won’t be ringing for information first. Thanks.

Very good service overall with Powertoolmate. Excellent pricing, fast dispatch with no issues encountered. My only gripe is that I was ignored on the Facebook page. I was hoping to discuss my order prior to ordering, but never got responded to. In the end I ended up splitting my order down across a few separate vendors when I would have preferred to have used PTM as a “one stop” purchase. Won’t stop me using PTM again though. ( the post is currently still pending!)

Brilliant company to buy tools and accessories from. Have bought a few pieces of kit, some of them quite expensive tools and they've always arrived really fast and in perfect condition - plus the prices are competitive and they do good bundle deals. If I am in the market for premium power tools I always check them out and I usually save money. Plus you can sometimes get a better deal through their eBay store.

I have purchased from Power Tool Mate a few times now and have never had anything but a great and easy experience.
I find the majority of their prices to be very competitive and quite often the best which is why I have returned several times.
I would and have recommended them to friends, family and colleagues who I know have had a great experience as well.
I have also made a few returns over the years and they are always really helpful and make the whole process so easy.

The sander tool arrived in a generic plastic bag posted in a generic cardboard box. The manuals and the dustbag were thrown in the box, so that's good.
What I didn't like is that both the dustbag attachment and the sander had dust on them. Not sure if due to bad storage practices, dirty hands handling or prior use.
Just the fact that I have to doubt whether I am buying a new item and then receiving a new unused item is already bad.

Great experience for 1st time user. Very easy to navigate & order on website. Had niche festool replacement parts and also have multiple clear and easy to choose options for delivery at good prices…not to mention competitively priced products!
Finally couldn’t believe how quickly my stuff turned up, I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised after using the other various companies who make hard work of delivery.
Would definitely recommend and will be using again!!

Poor delivery service from a company that deliver tools ...... supposidly delivers tools. I made a large power tool order, they supposidly packed and shipped (even showed CCTV of my order being neatly packed perfectly showing exactly my order, how fortunate that the camera moved to my order exactly when it was being packed). Shame my order was wrong on arrival, parts wrong and parts missing. Power Tool Mate washed thier hands of any responsibility. Also when ordering premium branded tools I would expect the correct packaging not a clear plastic bag which is not even sealed, feels rather low quality. The reason for the bag was given as: we buy so much it doesn't all come packed properly.
So I am down £150 worth of order, bits were in plastic bags, deliveries came on different days from different places and prices can be found the same else where on the Internet.
Your call to buy from PowerToolMate, its your money and your decision. I won't be buying from them again, wished I hadn't ordered from them before.
I know other people will rave about the company but would they rave if they had my journey, the real company is seen when things are not 100% and this company showed it really did not care.
I just hope that this review saves someone the horrid experience I had and they decide to go else where.

I start with the positives: jig saw is awesome, but you would not expect anything different from DeWalt and actually came on time ( between 3-5 working’s days, got mine on 4th day.
Now, box was damage and thin single wall. The worst part however was the t stak box, or it’s condition! It was disgusting, Box was covered in black, grey dust and sticky marks. Just like old, secondhand from bin! I am surprised someone actually sent it to the customer in this condition - see photos. Shame…

Great site, easy to use, search and find everything you need. I found they have a larger stock list than other sites. Pricing is the most competitive I've seen and I was more than surprised when my delivery arrived on a Sunday....I'd ordered it Friday. I was happy with the 3-5 day delivery time frame, but having it arrive on a sunday was brilliant.
I'll only be using these guys and girls again, and I've recommended them to several people I work with.

It’s.co.uk seems to have a better selection. After ordering 3ks worth of stuff I got a text from that company and though meh let’s have a ganders. It’s got much more stock millwaukee wise anyway and most of it’s cheaper ffs. Gutted ha anyway it wasn’t life changing but defo 1er overall. Service wise powertool mate spot on tbh cannot fault the service. Part of the order was delayed but they keep me up to date and so far everything that they said should arrive has. They also have a raffle which is deadly to the bank haha enjoy 😉

Stanley thru-tang chisels and Wonder Wipes ordered. Arrived quicker than expected and in good condition apart from a tiny chip out of end of one chisel. One star deducted for that and for splitting delivery into two. I realise companies do this now to get things to customers ASAP, but when the items arrive just a day or two apart, it seems a bit environmentally unfriendly to me. Should be an option to wait until all items can be delivered together. People need to plan ahead with purchases and stop wanting everything ‘now’ like spoilt brats. Fewer journeys, fewer emissions, less stress for delivery drivers.

Ordered a MILWAUKEE M12FIW38-0 from this company, then I find out that someone in this company changed my previous delivery address to the wrong address. Therefore I did not even receive my order, I would not have known only that I enquired as to the whereabouts of my order only to find that the delivery address had been changed, I wouldn't but I have had at least 4 previous orders delivered correctly. Needless to say I shall not be dealing with this incompetent company any more, and I advise others to do the same.

I ordered a kit a week ago,
It was delivered with big hole in side of box. Should be a sealed kit. It wasn’t, there was cordless drill in black box and a dusty charger looks like it’s been on display for 6 months and that was outside of black box no batteries. Also the manufacturer is doing a deal, and I need the packaging witch should of been there. I’ve sent email telling me it would of been sealed. Then I have sent more, no reply still not sorted 07999747422

Easy to use check out systems. I liked the fact you can see whats in stock. I order they packed real fast and in to the hands of a parcel company that was fast too. I had emails confirmation of my order and invoice in another one.. Could not fault Power Tool Mate and after Amazon messed up 3 times with the same item Tool mate got it right first time.
