Booked a room based on a good price. Received the confirmation. I called the hotel to confirm. No reservation under my name was made. Went online to cancel. States I must CALL to cancel. I called 4x and each time asked to leave a voicemail.

Stay away! This place is a complete scam.
You'll book, pay in full, and receive an official looking booking "confirmation" email. I advise immediately calling the hotel to confirm you reservation. The hotel staff will tell you that they don't have any record of the reservation in their system. (This is because this site doesn't actually make the reservation when they take your money. They float and only confirm for you if prices fall before your trip and they can make a profit.)
You'll send an email to Prestigia and they'll basically tell you to relax and that reservations take a few days to show in the hotel's system.
If prices rise or stay the same from when you book to when you travel, which happens frequently, they'll simply send you an email a few days before the trip saying, "sorry, we're unable to confirm your reservation. Would you consider another hotel?" The hotel won't even be in the same class or location. Unreal.
Whatever they tell you is a flat out lie. Confirm with the hotel directly, trust me.
They're not in the US, so US customers have zero recourse other than a refund through your credit card company. This of course doesn't leave you whole when you booked a X dollars and have to rebook right before your trip at 2X or 3X.
Don't be fooled by positive online reviews. They are well versed in the marketing and scam game. They clearly pay people to submit reviews. Check the names of the positive reviews against the names of the negative reviews and you'll see what I mean.
If you're still not convinced and are lured by the low price that they are advertising, do yourself a favor and try calling their customer service line quickly before you book. You'll listen to the elevator Prestigia.com pitch 800 times before hanging up.

This was the first time I had use the site and was very impressed with it. In future I will use the site to book all my hotels.The price was very good.Booking was confirmed right away

Easy booking, best price and best cancellation policy for the hotel I wanted to stay at. The bed type says not confirmed, but hope it's what I asked for. Have not gone yet, so stay tuned.

The rate was higher on Prestigia than the hotel's website after all the taxes, local taxes, VAT taxes, and the initial deposit fee were calculated, by almost 30 Euro. I didn't notice the small print in the price. Got a voucher at the end of the transaction. Will have to pay at the hotel on local currency in Sep. I would have preferred if I could just pay the entire amount now since it is a prepaid, no cancellation rate who knows what the Euro rate will be in Sep.

Booking was easy and info like fees and cancellation periods are shown prominently on the page. If you do decide to cancel a booking, the refund can take a few weeks to hit your card as they are based outside of the U.S.

This is the second time I booked through prestigia.The first time I booked I’m a little bit confused about this website but when I go to the hotel I relize this website the price is cheap and can be trusted

Me and my family booked our hotel in Biarritz throw Prestigia. When my husband booked your booking site or internet was lagging so when proceeding to payment nothing happens, so my husband presses again. He discovered that we have 2 bookings, he contacted you immediately but you were not very helpful so we have also contacted Amex to help us get the money back. Now it’s been almost 2 months and you still don’t want to cancel the second booking. My husband & me used our savings for this trip and I’m celebrating my 50 th birthday at your hotel but now we don’t know if we are able to travel at all. Can you please cancel the second booking. If not I have to report your company to the police. . So please act us a “ prestige” company and help your customers.

I ger booking number
after 5 hour they delete my acount
then i try call its not imposibble
then i write letter mail they say its ok normal after 2-3 days 72hour hotel comfirm
but i ask why i cant go in booking site oficial they send me new code and show is comfirmed but hotel say after 2 says dont get comfirm and dont know nothing!

Horrible experience there phone numbers do not work, called 30 times no answer, left VM no call back. I booked a hotel and the hotel did not have my reservation. I am unable to speak to anyone in the company. PLEASE BEWARE.

I tried to book the hotel on Saturday when the price was lower. The website didn’t accept any of my cards to complete it. By Monday morning, they had fixed it but the price has gone up. Wasn’t too happy paying extra cause of their fault

I booked 2 night hotel stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun, mexico with prestigia.com and when I arrived to cancun, mexico from Canada, my reservation was not in their system. The hotel contacted their reservation centre to see if there was any booking whatsoever and NOTHING! I called the numbers listed on the prestigia.com reservations and nooned answered, both the USA and UK number. Imagine my disbelief and now to deal with the stress of paying additional charges for the hotel in cancun, mexico since we needed a place to stay... THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! Do not make any reservations with them. Thankfully I already contacted my credit card company and made them aware of the situation. PRESTIGIA.COM IS A SCAM!

Prestigia cancelled several rooms reservations for my entire family- the day before my son from Harvard! They had collected full payment, and confirmed 6weeks prior!
We had to struggle to get rooms in separate hotels, at much higher prices! It really put a damper on this family celebration. PRESTEGIA IS A SCAM!

Misleading regarding extra charges - in one place it says there are additional taxes to be paid and then in another place it says there is an additional resort fee to be paid. Very unclear what the rate paid includes. No response to my email. Can't call the telephone number on the website, it's not a valid number for Australia.

I’ll be contd gong BBB to file a formal complaint. Sold me a room that wasn’t available and won’t refund me my $829.35. I’m contacting my credit card company as well. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!!

I tried calling to either get a busy signal or rings and hangs up on us. I tried contacting the hotel directly. They could not verify we had a reservation based on the confirmation numbers supplied by Prestigia or my surname. I contacted my credit card company for fraud. Prestigia supplied an actual reservation number 6 weeks later in a unfriendly email threatening to pursue legal action. Credit card company reversed charge on 4/4 the hotel cancelled the hold on 4/1. Prestigia claims that the initial reservation is all they are required to do and will not refund money or provide room. AVOID THIS COMPANY The discount is not real

Nie wieder Prestigia!!! Achtung!!
Wir hatten ein Hotel in Jeju gebucht. Angekommen im Hotel wurde uns gesagt, dass das Hotel umbenannt wurde mit einem neuen Besitzer. Unsere Buchung über Prestigia war daher nicht mehr gültig. Hotline von Prestigia hat erst einmal 2 Stunden nicht funktioniert. Danach hat sich Prestigia entschuldigt uns aber gesagt, dass sie uns ein minderwertiges Hotel geben können, wir aber nicht in dem gebuchten Hotel bleiben können weil es mittlerweile viel zu teuer ist. Das wollten wir nicht akzeptieren. Wir haben den Mehrpreis bezahlt und sind im gebuchten Hotel geblieben. Die Mehrkosten von 450€ wurden nicht erstattet. Statt dessen wurde uns ein lächerlicher 10% Gutschein für die nächste Buchung angeboten - als ob wir jemals wieder bei Prestigia buchen nach so einer Aktion!!!!

What a horrible booking company. They refused to refund me money for my daughter who was not able to travel… we even had a doctors note. No customer service! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
