Delantae was amazing. He listened to my needs and helped coordinate shipment to Miami via air freight over night so I could then overnight it to the Turks and Caicos Islands as I had guests arriving on Friday and we needed two vehicles with Thule Kayak Racks installed. We only had one. The guests really appreciated it and so did I. Great Work. Great Employee. Great Company to deal with, thanks to Delantae.
I was very happy with my purchase. I ordered open box items and they arrived in like new condition. I was also impressed with the website automatically identifying lower competitor pricing and automatically offering the price match.
I was also impressed that my order arrived in 3 days when not all pieces (open box) were available at my local Rack Attack location.
I will also add that I called Rack Attack with General questions about my vehicle setup and they were knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions, even confirming inventory without me directly asking.
Overall a terrific experience!

Customer service. The on line person was willing, but had limited experience (trainee). The phone number provided led to a voice mail that was returned once by email, but on other occasions rang forever. When I mentioned this in an email exchange, I was told, "they are very busy".
Also of note, I was informed twice that the Thule probar was incompatible with the Hullavator system. The Hullavator's installation manual has installation instructions for the probar. I found the correct information on a competitor's site. Fortunately, you had what i wanted in stock and at a better price.
I like your site's layout and ease of use, and everything i ordered got shipped same day and arrived ahead of schedule.
I've never had a better online shopping experience. The entire rack kit on the website was so easy to understand. I tried other sotes and called other places...they all confused me. One place I called (they sell and install racks lol) actually said they've never seen a roof rack on a truck and tried to make me feel dilly for asking lol. I was mansplained at every turn. When I called Rack Attack, they answered all my questions and were so easy and normal to talk to.
The price was amazing and shipment came really fast.
Even the little thank you note and where to find locks and keys with a smiley face.
The rack system itself is awesome. Truck looks like a real truck now. Thanks!! Definitely 10/10.
After looking at many different vendors and bike racks online, I settled on the Kuat Transfer V2 2 Bike rack from Rack Attack. Rack Attack provided a very good description of the Kuat rack including a video. I found their website to provide good information and the pricing was reasonable as compared to other online stores. I received it within 2 days of placing the order. The assembly directions were well written and I used the rack the next day. This rack is replacing another 2" trailer hitch mount where the bikes hang on rails. I had purchased a full-suspension bike and it wasn't compatible with my older rack. I am glad I made this purchase as it is so much easier to load and secure all the bikes to the Kuat platform type of rack. Great service from Rack Attack. I would highly recommend them.
We ordered a few pieces for our Yakima rack right before a holiday weekend. Unfortunately, when the product was ready to get sent out the delivery date was going to interfere with a trip we had planned (and needed the rack for) due to the holiday.
Matt was great with keeping us in the loop and finding a quick solution to get the parts delivered in time for our trip. Communication was extremely easy and the team went above and beyond to get us taken care of. We will definitely be ordering more from Rack Attack again soon!
Originally called Toronto location for some miscellaneous Thule parts and confirmed part number over phone.
Once I got there, the wrong parts were waiting for me.
I drove over 45 minutes for the parts.
The staff recognized the error and did, what I considered fair, to rectify the problem.
Parts were supplied a couple days later!!
I would give 5/5 if not for the misunderstanding.
But the solution was:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really found the video reviews helpful in selecting my bike rack. I asked a couple of questions using the website and within a day received a reply from RackAttack. Shipping was super quick and I received my rack within a week. I really was impressed and would do business with them again. As with any product, do your research. Each rack has pros and cons. I found this company and website helpful in discovering the pros of each rack.
I found Rack Attack while searching online for the best price for a roof basket/rack for my Subaru. Rack Attack had the item in stock, with the best price AND free shipping. Other retailers had added shipping charges for the oversize item. The Thule rack shipped out immediately and arrived sooner than expected. I was very pleased with my experience. I contacted Rack Attack after my purchase because the rack went on sale a day after my purchase. They refunded the difference to match the sale price. I’m so glad I discovered Rack Attack. They are an excellent company.
I needed a rare part for my Rhino Rack system. It was impossible to find locally, so I made a call to Rack Attack in Toronto. The staff immediately new what I was looking for, searched high and low in their inventory, found one tucked away in the recesses of a supplier's inventory, walked me through the online ordering process, kept me up to date on when they would get it, and when they did get it they immediately shipped it to me. The package was expertly protected from the elements and arrived to me in perfect shape. Also, their prices were the best I could find and their staff the easiest to get along with.
My order with Rack Attack was great. I already had a Yakima roof rack that I needed to adapt to my new car. I chatted with a rep and got the parts that I needed for the fit. Price was as good as anyone and delivery was just a few days. It actually came two days earlier than estimated so we were able to get the kayaks to the lake before the weekend crowds. Installation was a little complicated but these racks are SOLID.
I signed up to be notified when the Kuat, piston pro x was available with several distributors. Rack Attack was the first to contact me, beating out the competitors by over a week. James Blaze was my point of contact from the beginning and he closed the deal immediately and he added the specific ramp for my bike rack, as it was not yet on the website. Excellent communication throughout the process and a solid and seamless experience. Thank you James Blaze and Rack Attack for having your act together!
A part was missing from a base clip box. I contacted them to let them know. They said they would overnight the part and email me when it was sent--I never got an email so I had to fabricate a part. The store near me didnt have one and I only had 3 days till leaving for my trip. After making a new rubber pad by gluing two mouspad cut outs together grippy side out I was able to install the rack successfully. I hope they decide to mail the part to me eventually.
The level of service was impeccable! My items took time to come in, but that was simply supply chain issues and had nothing to do with RackAttack. RackAttack kept me informed throughout the entire process and I am extremely happy with the customer service! Truly next level service when so many companies are using covid as an excuse, for delays, backorders, etc. among other things. RackAttack made every effort to excel! I commend the service, consistent updates and personal care that was given to my order. Thank you RackAttack and your amazing staff!
The staff at the Vaughn store are amazing. Super helpful helping my son get a rack for his truck, and when we retuned another weekend at 4:00 and they were closing , they opened the door and let us in and stayed 20 min. to help us with changing the order…and all the guys were very helpful even though after hours! I also dealt with an order with the Vancouver office which was cancelled due to low stock and they made the effort to call when they got stock in and filled the order. Every time I deal with this company I’m super impressed with staff. I never right reviews so the fact that I’m writing this says something…it is great to see young guys actually interested in their job and willing to give advice and help.
I bought a simple class 1 hitch at Mississauga store, Ishveer Malhans promised to deliver the hitch after a 2 weeks waiting time plus 1 additional week for the installation, at the same time he promised to call when the hitch had arrived, well 16 days have passed and no phone call, no hitch, very difficult to contact them by phone, the manager don't take phone calls and after a 20 min of repeated phone calls and waiting times, they told me that the hitch is still in order with out being shipped from Montreal and it will take 1 week more to receive the hitch.
I don't have doubts that Rack attack is an important rack installer but go to a different location, because people do plans and expect respect for their time, obviously the Mississauga location don't do that, and for any location that you choose test their phone communications before doing any purchase
Great customer service and quick ship times. My only complaint would be that I selected to pay with applepay and I didn’t have a chance to put in my Thule one key number till after the payment. I spoke to customer service and they told me they were able to see my input and I did receive the right product. Not a big issue just a bit inconvenient as it wasn’t reassuring putting in the key number after the order was placed and I had to call to confirm.
I was looking for trunk bike rack for my WRX. I contacted Rack Denver through the email address on their website. After a couple of hours I got a voicemail with a recommendation to go with the Yakima half back. I called back and the tech confirmed the recommendation and confirmed the rack would fit the car.
I ordered online and received a voicemail from Rack Golden that they had one. I called them and the tech confirmed the voicemail. The rack had been ordered online and returned in the box but they made sure all parts were in tact. The recommended that I come come to the shop and pick it up and save the shipping cost. Done.
They gave me 22% off because the rack was in an opened box.
The fact that the techs called me and wanted to discuss the rack over the phone was huge for me. The tech I purchased the rack from was very knowledgeable and showed me photos of several WRXs with the same rack installed.
I used Rack Attack for my roof and ski racks. I’ll definitely use them again.
Where to start? The short version is that I went to the 'experts' to get the perfect rack for my car, and the gentleman that advised me on my order specified Skyline towers for my naked roof. Had I done my homework I could have avoided what turned out to be a comedy of errors and not wasted 3 weeks to get my new kayak to the water. (Hint: Skyline towers are for cars that have landing pads, Baseline towers should have been specified). My order was shipped from 3 different locations (?), and finally arrived 8 days later. After meticulously following directions and assembling the towers to the bars, complete with boat loader, I opened the boxes for the base pads and discovered I had the wrong towers....seriously?
This started a two-week saga that included: calling in for guidance on what to do next; speaking to a woman who seemed not to know how to process a return and needed to find information; not being followed up with the next day and calling back and finally speaking to a nice woman from Toronto who apologized for the mixup and advised me about a return label, and followed that up with an email. (Hat tip: Tanvi K)
Great: I return the towers, the proper ones were being sent, and I wait another week for delivery. Upon receipt of the replacement towers and my attempt to install, I discovered that the snap-in clips that seat the bar brackets were actually part of the bar package, and not the towers, but I sent mine back with the towers that I'd returned. Wonderful: Now I call back once again to ask about how I get clips, and was told they'll have to locate my returned package and get back to me. I tell the guy I'm crazy to get my new yak in the water, and ask if there's any possibility to get expedited shipping on the clips? The guy says "Well we're not spending $35 to ship these to you a little quicker".....I thought of mentioning that I wouldn't be in this position if someone had originally done their job, but I was simply worn down at this point. Another 8 days for delivery and finally, FINALLY, I had all my parts.
The Good: Yakima Core Bars seem incredibly well made, and the directions are quite clear. Along with the installation videos, the install is very straight forward.
The Bad: Rack Attack customer service seems mired by inconsistency. With respect for the (no doubt) dozens of professional, competent, and caring employees at Rack Attack, my story is about lost opportunities to make things right. Nobody except Tanvi apologized, or offered me any type of compensation for my frustration and time lost. I can think of an easy dozen companies whose customer service alone makes me want to come back: REI and Amazon being two of the best.
The Ugly: Belatedly, I decided I wanted to get the Yakima Jay-Low kayak carrier for my core bars. Though I'd love to support a small business, guess where I went?....Amazon had it at my doorstep in 2 days.
Moral: You don't get a second chance to make a first impression: Caveat Emptor, and do your homework!!!
I ordered a pair of Yakima Jet stream cross bars that were listed as an open box item with a pretty good discount. My cross bars were shipped to my home quickly and when I opened the box I was surprised to find the bars in absolute perfect condition. The adapters to attach them to my Yakima Timberline rail mounts were all there too and in their factory package! I’ve had poor experiences with buying open box items in the past so this was a awesome!
