also, anyone that has gone out of their way to give a positive review no doubt works for the company or has another incentive.
I then had to adjust my latest delivery date by a week or so to ensure that I can use what I have (and make room) before the next delivery in March.
While I haven't received any official corporate or account communications about the company having delivery issues (labor shortage, product shortage, fuel shortage, whatever), I assumed at least one of those was an issue and chalked it up to everything being more challenging lately.
But today I got an emailed document saying they are cancelling my account (which I autopay):
"We love all of our customers equally, but in reviewing your account and our service model, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue your ReadyRefresh delivery service. This notice is to inform you that as of February 25th 2022, ReadyRefresh will no longer be providing service to you. This means that you will no longer be able place orders or schedule deliveries online with ReadyRefresh after this date. If you have a delivery scheduled after February 25th 2022, it will be canceled."
Then they offered to sell me their "under-the-sink Full Flow Filtration System"... which is probably better for the environment but this short notice doesn't leave a very good taste with me (and I live in an apartment, so I'd rather not install anything).
Maybe it's because we have a secure apartment complex that's hard to get into early and late, or maybe they are having supply/delivery process issues. I do know their billing has always been irritating in the many years I've been using the service.
This is very unfortunate, but many of the prices were high anyway, so I guess now I have to find another vendor in the next couple of weeks to get my water to me.
If you are a current customer, watch out and be ready to be cancelled in case you are not a convenient delivery account!
My current phone number is on file, yet I did not receive a phone call to even notify me that the water had been delivered - not that it should have been left in the lobby. How am I supposed to carry 3 5-gallon bottles of water up to my apartment? Is this not why we pay for delivery service?
I called ReadyRefresh and the person was politely unsympathetic. For someone in customer service he was quite cavalier about the lack of adequate service and asked me if I had someone that could help me carry the bottles. When I told him no, he said he could have someone return on Monday.
I promptly canceled my service and asked for a refund for today's delivery. He canceled my service -- no attempt to make amends or salvage the business and told me that he would have to issue a ticket for my refund and it would be up for review since the office was closed.
So disappointing. Their service has declined considerably since Nestle bought the company. The best thing I can do, I guess is discontinue my service because I don't get the sense that ReadyRefresh really cares about improving the service or hiring employees that actually do their job.
Cancelled my account and will move forward doing business with a company that appreciates my business. Just thought you should know. This is not how you treat people. Ex customer of 20 years,
I sent this email to them and got a canned messaged saying ReadyRefresh checked records and their service folks had addressed my concerns. I wrote back saying no one addressed my issues. Got another email saying your account is close. No more deliveries will be made. DUH!
Don't do business with these people.
I have called three times in the last three days and have been promised delivery and I might add that I was guaranteed! Delivery not once but twice and that I was in the route today "rest assured guaranteed delivery today ". My mother has dementia along with other medical conditions that require purified water it is now 7:17 pst your office is closed and STILL NO WATER! How frustrating this is
And how angry and frustrated would you be if your costumer service reps lied lied and lied lied blatantly in the literal since! Liars….
And God forbid it was your mother or someone you loved! And it was someone you take care of as a caregiver
And of course you do not care about small business and people who have paid your salary and or "corporate bonus checks" at the end of the year!
Now what? We are handicapped and cannot lift 5 gallon water bottles! Our caregiver isn't back until Monday
SHAME on you
Shame on you!
I will be going to every social media outlet that I can and express my frustration regarding your company how can you lie lie and lie lie
Check your records to verify my TRUTH!
Liars! How dare yuh say great job your review looks really helpful
What are you another robot! I do not need a photo or a picture or media look up my records and do t even more LAZY!
Customer Service reps are usually very understanding & helpful if you speak to someone Stateside and not one of their off shore contractors. But no matter how well intended, if deliveries are constantly botched, all the Customer Service in the world can't put humpty-dumpty together again. Now the excuse you get is 'problems with deliveries due COVID-19'. Really I asked? The Delivery problems for us started way before March, 2020 in NYC.
Problem is there aren't many other water delivery companies with their capacity to service the majority of commercial clients and ReadyRefresh know it.

If iI ever get to pay them, I will pay them and then cancel my service… this way to time consuming… and I will tell anyone who asks - wort customer service ever…
so why give five stars?
In December a supply was sent to my home and I immediately sakes the driver to take take it back to the store and the informed me that company policy does not allowed him to take it back.
I eventually had to send several emails to have it retrieved and to have my account cancelled since its almost impossible to get to speak to someone because you are always directed to the email account for contact. Eventually ReadyRefresh acknowledged my request and then subsequently started sending me erroneous bills for payment and threatening emails.
After several attempts I was able to speak with someone whom I believed to be a customer service representative who called me and was told that I owe $60.00 for outstanding rentals plus the cost of delivery that was made in December. I informed her that I will not be paying for that delivery because it was not requested by me.
I have been begging them to come pick that supply up but no one has acceded to my request.
I am so very disappointed with the treatment and unprofessionalism by ready refresh. I have been trying to respond to their email where they keep threatening me to take legal actions but somehow my responding emails keep getting blocked.
I am tired of their semantics and have been seeking my own legal advice.
I'm done with this company.
Apparently Nestle operates on a old school model of trapping the customer and making very hard to cancel service. News alert Nestle! This model is NOT sustainable and you are losing customers like me on a daily basis. The negative publicity that people like me are creating against your company will eventually break your outdated business model.
Needed to cancel my credit card and file fraud charges with them. Have never been able to reach a person at any of their phone numbers and tried calling multiple times at different times of day and week over course of a few months. The recording just tell me they are too busy and hang up after waiting through the prompts.
I surmise there are others this has happened or is happening to. Yeesh what a nightmare. I like never ever leave reviews about anything... this was my experience. Perhaps yours will differ?
If they pay their driver $5.00 per stop, I would not complain, but if they get $0.50 they can be happy. If you consider water cooler in your home, it pays more to buy one your self and buy the water you chose. Nestle will not get out of the business because of me or even hundreds of people who think like me, but if we start using our brains, we can push them to be more competitive and offer more. We can slow down or even stop big companies from taking monopoly in many cases. Use your brains, and spend your money where you receive the most in return. I bet you don't earn it easy.
Good bye ready refresh.
I return the broken water dispenser when I receive my newly purchased one since the replacement ones still not exchanged. Out of 4 months only 2 customer service representative answered. Everything else is emailed and it says call C. Service but no answer. For this I'm cancelling. It's sad that I had to join this company after it was doing so well, the new management or owner now has destroyed this company.
I would give it ZERO STARS but have to pick it so one it is...
I don't know if it's because it's Nestles or what, but i feel they make a lot in credit card billing.
The people on the phone are very nice and try to fix the problem but the system is not always in sync.
The delivery has been very good and it's convenient but one must be vigilant about the billing!
It's just so difficult to contact customer service representatives without paying a rather large fee!
1. The water was delivered one day late--the driver never called to inform me of this.
2. The driver left the water in the wrong location, because the wrong apartment number was written on the box. He didn't follow my explicit instructions to use my intercom.
3. There are 25-minute telephone hold times if you try to call them. You cannot ask them to call you back.
4. Their website is more deficient than that of any other merchant I've dealt with.
5. I tried to determine the email address of their CEO, Fernando Merce. ReadyRefresh have so many domain names, it's ridiculous. His email address appears to be *******@waters.nestle.com
6. I get error messages when I try to read about their job openings (so I could determine their email address format).
7. They refuse to release the full names of their executives.
8. They are perpetrating a fraud--their water doesn't come from a spring in Maine--it comes from ordinary ground water. At least one of the sites is near a petroleum site.
So, not only are they incredibly dysfunctional and disorganized--they are also criminal.
