Reformed Film Lab

This is my go-to film development lab. They are quick, friendly, professional and very, very good. The scans I get back are wonderful. I do a lot of testing of old cameras and it's invaluable to have a place I can send film knowing what I'll get back is the best it can be. As a retail store, Reformed Film Labs is awesome, with a huge selection of film stocks and the coolest little accessories.

After putting away my Leicaflex 20 years ago when film was in its death throes, I was inspired to pull it back out recently, and had to hunt for a place to process black and white film. My research led me to Reformed Film Lab, and they did not disappoint. They turned it around quickly, sent me scans, and I also ordered small prints. The negatives look great and I can't wait to print them. Very friendly folks who know what they're doing, communicate well, and I'm back in the game : - )

I can not recommend Reformed Film Lab enough! Since I got into shooting film about a year ago, I have constantly been impressed with their customer service and their products. I always receive confirmation when my film arrives and have received personalized videos from the owner. Whenever an issue arises, they are quick to apologize and always do their best to fix it. I will continue to use this lab and wish them the absolute best as they continue to grow!

I mainly shoot and develop my own black & white film. But when I shoot color it always goes to the Reformed Film Lab. I have had film processed, bought film and other items from the RFL. It has been 100% customer satisfaction. Zero problems. As long as I shoot the film correctly, the Reformed Film Lab always delivers great scans. This shot is from the latest roll they processed and scanned for me. Shot back in June at our local fair. I used a Pentax PC35AF point & shoot camera loaded with Lomography 400.

I found Reformed Film Lab from a simple google search when I was looking for film developers in Florida. After finding them, I quickly wanted to support them. And as a result I have received quality development of my film for a great price. Their communication and services are outstanding and I will continue to use them in the future! I highly recommend and I would recommend them to any friend of mine.

They are awesome!! I sent in 2 color rolls of film from a trip abroad for prints and scans. It felt like I was sending my babies in, and I was nervous as I used to develop my film in my own but I don’t have access to a darkroom anymore. They killed it! The process was fast and they communicated every step of the way. The prints and scans were beautifully done and I will be sending in more rolls soon. 10/10

Via a friend, I heard of reformed film lab, and I have been pleased ever since. There are film stores around me in NH, but from the first time I purchased a development through their online store I knew I'd always be sending my film to Reformed. Not only does a customer receive a kind video upon purchase, but they also let you know when your film has arrived safe and sound. And their developing truly brings out the magic within film. You can tell by the scans how much effort and intentionality they put into developing. Best film lab I have ever developed with.

I was so stoked to find a reasonably priced medium format camera and a great selection of film. My Holga showed up crazy fast - from Florida to California in four days! Mike was super responsive when I emailed with questions, they sent a personalized video thank you after I placed my order, and everything is in perfect condition. I just sent off my first batch of 35mm film to process - setting up a developing order was super easy and the developing cost is the best I've found. I'm so excited to play with 120 next! I'll absolutely be ordering form Reformed from now on!

Reformed Film Lab has been a great "find" for me and my work. I've been working with them since they started the company (I wanted to support their business) and was immediately and continue to be impressed by their customer service and quality of work.
I went back to my "film days" after sending a couple of rolls of black and white to this lab. Impressed with the results, I then sent them color rolls. The developing and scanning, not to mention their 3-4 day turnaround time and support by Mike (the owner), has kept me engaged with the film side of my business. And some of the images I received back made it into a book I published (which required excellent b&w renditions).
Simply put - I have been totally satisfied, and would recommend them to new and experienced film photographers!

The best family owned business you’ll ever find! I always trust them to develop my film, no stress. They’re automated messages for shipping instruction and package receiving make the hassle and anxious wait a breeze. We live in an eta where photographers don’t need to develop their own film to learn how to shoot. Some people like to get on me for skimping out on half the craft, but I’m proud to support RFL and I couldn’t be happier.

Great! to have a dedicated team developing, scanning AND selling film in North Florida. Great website, excellent communication (email), they have a good app, and the development and scans were good. Turn time was ok, 4-5 business days, and I have to pay to ship to and from, so that gets a little pricier than I'd like. A mailer with one shipping rate for a round trip (film sent, negatives returned) would be great. Tried to call to check on something, and there wasn't a phone listing. So that was a little inconvenient, but they are responsive via email

I've used Reformed only twice so far for film developing but couldn't be happier with them! I love receiving personal notes from them throughout the process and my pictures come out great. I was lucky enough to go into the studio a few times and every staff member was always engaging and kind. I just moved out of Florida but fully intend on still using them to develop my pics via mail! Thank you guys!

Amazing film lab! I was nervous to send my film to somewhere so far away but they NAILED it! It was first time purchasing film disposable cameras from them because there seemed to be some sort of shortage a couple weeks back, and they came so quickly! I needed them for a concert and it was so last minute but they delivered before their delivery date! I was beyond satisfied with that. And when it was time to get my negatives developed and scanned, they came out amazing!! I loved my film they came out really really great! Had some great shots in there even though the venue was cloudy and dark. Thank you so much!!

I stumbled upon this shop while frantically searching online for film to order for my upcoming daughters birth. I ordered film a 5 pack - it arrived within a week and pricing was very fair! Although I ordered the wrong size , Mike was kind enough to let me send it back to return and even provided a return shipping label! I love the reward /points system they offer too. I look forward to continuing to use them for film supplies and processing services!

As a film beginner this company has been SUPER!! If I ever have any questions or special requests for my order than I can just email them and they reply extremely quick! For example, one time I had accidentally opened a roll when it wasn't fully rerolled into it's canister so I sent them an email asking them to open it in a darkroom to try to preserve the rest of the film. My scans turned out great!! Prices are great, especially for the film. I can't seem to find reasonably priced rolls of Kodak Gold anywhere else.

I was in the middle of complaining to a friend about how much of a pain in the ass it is to find film when i found reformed film lab’s website, and kept expecting a catch. There wasn’t one. They had all the typical film i wanted in stock (portra 800), and at good prices; plus a bunch of really cool experimental, weird film that I’m excited to try out (street candy, moonstruck). Everything shipped super fast and got to me without hassle, which i add only because i live rurally, and getting things delivered can be difficult. Give them a try, it certainly feels way better than ordering from some hellscape like amazon, they have helpful/thoughtful descriptions of the film they sell, and their prices are really good!

Great customer service and a seamless ordering process – I ordered a Koday film camera from Reformed Film lab and couldn't be happier with the process. I received communications and updated shipping notifications as my order was processed. I received the package and it will be a fun camera to play with. I was very happy with the customer service from Reformed Film Lab and their follow-up communications. I would tell my friends to order and I plan to try their developing services in the near future. I had a fantastic initial experience with Reformed Film Lab. I sent in 3 rolls of color negative film - two of which expired 20 years ago. I chose medium size scans. I got back fantastic scans with very good color reproduction. Even with expired films which had a significant color shift. I can see very clearly the film grain in the scans so the optical quality of the scanner used must be very good. Then the negatives came back. Very clean and well developed. I will continue to work with RFL for sure.,

Reformed Film Lab is a great site for film and accessory purchases. Their prices are competitive with other online photographic retailers. They have a wide variety of products for the budding analog photographer and even have an incentive program when you establish an account with them in which you earn points towards a rewards coupon that can be used on any product or service. They ship right away and include tracking with each purchase which is very helpful in today's world of uncertain postal deliveries. I highly recommend Reformed Film Lab as the place to go for all your analog photography needs.

I came across Reformed Film Lab while searching for a better development option. I had only ever developed disposable cameras at Walgreens/CVS/Costco and I had a gut feeling there was a company that produced better quality. Thankfully, I was right! RFL not only prints but sends digitals, which makes sharing & posting 10x easier. The quality is a godsend and the paper that the prints are on is like beautiful butter. I usually keep coming back to a place because of the customer service, and they have not failed me there. This company communicates quickly & well and even gives you coupons for your next order! Who doesn't love coupons?! I have told plenty of others about RFL and I will not stop there - hence this review! Give them a go - you won't be disappointed!!
