Home Depot experience
Home Depot experience I went to the store today to buy some Ryobi tools I was greeted in the tool department by the person working there and was asked right away if Ryobi Tools could help I said yes and the person was very knowledgeable about what I needed and proceeded to help me find what I was looking for everything was accessible a big thumbs up for Home Depot. I love Ryobi tools because the batteries work and everything they make interchangeable the tools are great they have a wide selection of battery operated tools which makes life very easy.

RYOBltools electric drain snake.
The RYOB electric drain snake saved my marriage. After two days of a clogged kitchen drain and doing dishes in the bathroom sink, and it being Memorial Day weekend, I google electric snakes and it shows one available at our local Home Depot. At $129.00 it was much cheaper than calling a plumber. So, we headed out, bought one. Had a lovely dinner at local restrurant, headed home and within 30 minutes we were FREE AGAIN! That is of a clogged kitchen drain. THANK YOU RYOB tools. We now own several electric tools of your company. Thinking I should buy stock.

Ryobi electric riding lawnmower
Worst product i have ever purchased! Unfortunately, i own ~$10k in ryobi products. I have never had an issue w/any so i have never had to deal w/customer service. I have owned this lawnmower for ~1yr, and it has worked for ~ 5mos of that time. What makes it worse, is the customer service is probably the worst i've ever come across. For ex) i took it back to the instructed facility by ryobi. The facility looked at me like i was stupid. So i had it driven back. 3hrs of wasted time, $100 out of my pocket. I've spent almost $600 in lawn care b/c this garbage machine doesn't work and ryobi will not do anything about it. Third time it will be in the shop if i can find one that works w/ryobi. This will be my last ryobi purchase gauranteed!

2300 PSI 1.2 GPM High Performance Electric Pressure Washer doesn't work
I reviewed and purchased a new, not refurbished, 2300 PSI 1.2 GPM High Performance Electric Pressure Washer from my local Home Depot and unit builds pressure for 20 seconds then stops working! Hose input connected to house full open. Hose connected to power washer? Yes! Oh, why does the picture on the box look different than the unit in the box? The hose inputs are different? I attached pics. Back to the setup install…. We have power! Yes! We have pressure for 20 seconds then it stops! Why? Two grown men trying to figure out a simple power washer and we are stumped on why it doesn't work. I'm not even putting it back in the box! Back to Home Dept for my $300.

String Trimmer RY30550 broken pull cord.
Approx. 6 years ago I purchased a Ryobi string trimmer. It gave good service until yesterday when the pull cord broke. Having replaced many of these cords on power tools over the years I went to the hardware store and purchased a replacement cord. When I began disassembly of the trimmer to repplace the cord I found that near total disassembly of the trimmer was necessary to replace the pull cord, necessitating taking the trimmer in for service. This service would have cost more than 100 dollars which is significantly more than half the original purchase price. The pull cord is a wear part and like a spark plug, should be easily replaceable by the homeowner. This situation makes the trimmer a trash item, despite it's like new condition (excepting the pull cord) as repairs are overly expensive. Poor design. Poor customer service from their call center. I will not purchase further products from Ryobi.

Ryobi Battery-operated tools are champs!
I have redone an old house... although I am not a professional, I am a perfectionist.

Quite honestly I could have not gotten the job done without my Ryobi drill, circular saw and one other thing, which I cannot remember.

I have gone through several sets of drill bits... but the drill itself is still aces. I also attach a buffing pad for applying and buffing up paste wax.

I would like to invest in one their flashlights.

I just wish Lowes carried this line.

Five power stars for Ryobi!

The best
I became a contractor over the summer of 2021. I've found the price of their tools to be in the middle of the road. The batteries are interchangeable from tool to tool which has reduced the amount of batteries needed and has saved cost. Ryobi also has a wide range of tools making the batteries even more valuable. I've found the tools are as good or better than top brand names and recommend the product to anyone who uses more than one power tool. I no longer look at other brands and only will if Ryobi doesn't have what I need.

Ryobi weed eater
Several months ago I bought a Ryobi weed eater and was impressed with the ease to start it also impressed with the power of the weed eater. Started out great until I attempted to weed eat my yard. From the beginning I have trouble with the stringer head. It was hard to take off and hard to put back on. As of today only after using the weed eater for a few months the stringer head is off and will not go back on. I have noticed over the months I have owned the Ryobi weed eater I spent more time messing with the stringer head than weed eating. Ryobi got the motor right but the stringer head is a pain. My options are but another stringer head or a different brand. I have used Craftsman most of my life and never had this problem. Sum up, motor great everything else subpar.

RYOBI cordless mower, 20 in., 40 volt -- PROVING TO BE AN EXCELLENT CHOICE
This is my first cordless mower, all my previous mowers being gas powered. I will never return to gas. As my old mower was not functional, I had not cut the grass in weeks. It was high and thick. I used my new ROBI in mulch mode, and on the lowest height setting, expecting it to have trouble and need a recharge part way through the job. I was amazed to find that it truly does have gas-like power, and it completed the entire job on one charge. No gas to store in cans, and way less noise. This unit is sturdily built, attractive, easy to manoeuvre, and stores upright in a small space. Couldn't be better.

Poor customer service
I just purchased a brand new in the box set of Ryobi batteries and charger. One of the batteries never charged up or will take a charge. Did I mention that I bought this on E bay from a dealer with a +13000. It was advertised with a factory warranty of three years. I contacted Ryobi about a exchange and was denied. Victoria Thompson was the customer service person that told me that Ryobi does not cover third party sales. Total BS I own a construction company that buys 1000"s dollars worth of tools every year. I work major construction in Orlando airport and Sanford airport. I will never buy another Ryobi tool again. I will let all the trades on every sight that I work to never buy another Ryobi tool again.

Back in The Game
I am over 80 years old and have enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and mowing for 60 of those years. We recently sold our home that had 2 and a half acres of lawn and gardens because it became too much of an effort to handle properly. With far less area to care for in our new home, I thought everything would fine. Not exactly, in need of a shoulder replacement made it impossible to handle heavy and hard to start gas equipment. From lawnmowers to leaf blowers my yard became silent. My most recent Ryobi purchase now has me back in the game blowing leaves with ease. Thank you RYOBI

GREAT TOOLS
Your Tools are the BEST the drills blower sprayer air pressure every peace is super the tiller is find and the people at home depot believe in the RYOBI is one of there best idems in there store. The blower that I have for 6 years is still going strong. I have 8 RYOBI product. Ryobi Tools are all working great. I recommend that you invest in RYOBI products in the long run you will be very happy and fill that the money you but into there PRODUCT is like putting money in the bank. Every X mass i buy a new RYOBI product for my son, and he love them. This year WE are going to buy him a Sprayer. Thanks RYOBI for your product. And bring more products to the marked this year.

JUNK
DON'T! I bought one of Home Depots Ryobi gas-powered backpack blowers. I only used it for my medium-sized yard about 7 times a year. Two years in I started having all kinds of problems with it starting. I didn't even use it the entirety of the second season. I stuck it in the garage and the following season it still had problems(it wasn't getting a spark).
I replaced the spark plug, fuel filter, and lines. The year before I replace the air filter. I took it in to my local home depot only to find out that the "nearest" store that did repairs was 20 miles away. I live in a fairly big city so WTH.
Anyway, took it in and Ryobi Tools replaced the switch, still won't start. The technician tells me that IT CAN'T BE FIXED unless the motor gets rebuilt. This blower basically lasted two seasons. What a piece of CRAP!

Lawn mower exceeds expectations!
I have used an electric lawn mower made by another manufacturer for 18 years and it is now worn out so, after researching current products, I decided to purchase a 16" Ryobi cordless push mower and it has exceeded my expectations! Not only does it have more than adequate power and battery life and a relatively light weight, but the "gear-down" feature when mowing high grass was a stunning and pleasant surprise! So far the mower has performed beautifully! I highly recommend this mower!

DO NOT BUY
Don't ever buy battery lawn equipment.
My Robyi 24 volt battery finally died and Ryobi Tools no longer make the battery. So now I have to go out and buy a new edger, bush trimmer, and weed eater which all worked off the 24 volt. That will cost me at least $300 I don't have to replace.
Customer service basically said sorry but too bad. REALLY. Being that I gave them the opportunity over email and phone to make it right they did not. So now I will spend hours posting this on all social media sites. Wont be buying there products ever again.

Ryobi vs others
I've had a lot of power tools and payed the higher price for Dewalt, Then working at home and doing small projects I got to depending more on Ryobi, I noticed the reviews in Consumers Reports and so I bought my Ryobi generator over the more expensive Honda, The Ryobi is as good in every way and cost me several hundred less. Their power tools are in every way as good as Dewalt IMO, The most important thing is I can afford to have more power tools by using Ryobi and I get everything I did from the more expensive brands. I have not been asked to give a positive review I just think everyone likes to save money

Terrible snow blower!
I purchased a 21 inch 40V snow blower on dec. 17 2021 at our local home depot. We had a snowfall on jan. 16 2022. I got out the snow blower with fully charged batteries, turned it on and it ran for 5 minutes. I boxed it and returned it to home depoot and exchanged it for the same model. Brought it home, charged the batteries and tried again. 5 minutes later it stopped! I am not pleased with this machine! I have many ryobi tools. I don't think i will by or recommend ryobi tools to family or frriends, what will you do to get me to trust your product[s]?

My Ryobi Tool
As a 1st time buyer I had no idea how easy it'd be to assemble my Compact Ltwt Leaf blower. Once I bought it a day ago I was very surprised ate putting it together, especially since I am a disable veteran and have an extremely hard time working on things with my hands. I was also very surprised on how light weight the blower was. After charging the battery and using my blower to clean out my driveway I highly recommend it for anyone who may be disabled or even just having problems with their hands.

Review of Ryobi Mower
It was easy to assemble and prepare the mower for use. Tried the mower at various hights and speeds and picked the one that made the lawn look great. I especially like the ability to push the mower on a small part of our lawn and use the self-propel part on the larger section. The charger is easy to use because the battery is so convenient to install and remove. Handles are at great height for comfortable walking while mowing. Variable speed is great. Easy for wipe down and clean up after use.

Not at all satisfied with 40 volt Leaf Vacume
I just purchased a 40 volt leaf vacuum. When I got it home and purchasing the battery and charger which was almost as expensive as the vacuum it's self. I was at all satisfied. The machine has plenty of power but battery dies way to fast. The machine is bulky and cumbersome when the battery is added it is very heavy. No shoulder strap is supplied to help off set the excess weight.
The feeder tube clogs very easily.
The collection is very cumbersome as well. It mounts under the machine and needs emptied frequently for my needs. The discharge for the bag is placed to fill bag under the machine.
Other vacuuming equipment I have owned discharged from the rear am was comparable with attachments for greater vacuuming capacity.
Further research needs done on this unit and some redesign. I have man Ryobi tools and have influenced several others to switch.
This tool gets my thumbs down. It will be going back to the store tomorrow I assure you. Sorry Ryobi!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, charger died in 10 months
Purchased the electric rider 10 months ago, charger stopped working after 10 months. For 2 days, I spent hours and hours on the phone. Ryobi Tools keep transferring me from person to person to wrong departments (one person told me 'hold on I'll check' and transferred me to garage tools or something, which has nothing to do with riding mowers, and I cannot get replacement. Home Depot service told me to wait 8 weeks or so for replacement (crazy for spring), and I chatted on Ryobi website and some Alisa person told me to take to service, I told her I already did and service said I need new charger because it's dead and need a new one, but she ignored my message and provided me link of local services and said 'have a nice day' and left. I could just punch such horrible customer support. With this support, they will lose all their customers. I'm returning the whole rider and buying another brand where I can get support when something breaks. Never again Ryobi brand. Horrible horrible customer support. Impossible to get support for a product that's suppose to last lifetime, only lasted 10 months. BEWARE RYOBI

BEST ever
I love the RYOBI power tools. The cordless drill is the best ever. I like the speed chuck because it is quick and easy. The battery lasts longer than any other battery and recharges quickly. Also the battery powered leaf blower is the best ever. Powerful and light weight and easy to use. I use it every Sunday in Church, to clean the carpet down the center isle. Then I clean the outside sidewalks and front porch. All in about 2 minutes. I also enjoy the hedge trimmer and cut off saw. And Ryobi Tools ALL take the same battery. Ryobi is the BEST.
