Why'd I wait so long
I have been memeber now for about 6 months. I'm on the 3 scents a month. Only 1 scent i didn't care for as i accidently ordered a man scent and I'm a woman lol. I love the candles. And I'm waiting to try various new products like the makeup and oil drops. I am so happy with scentbird I'm actually mad I didn't sign up aooner or cant orxer more than 3 things a month. Its a fair price. Great selection for men and woman. Great gift idea xmas ahopping already done everyone is getting scentbird subscription lol. And i luv the 10 extra case every month as i change the case to match the purse. Just wanna suggest a pride case and maybe some floral cases or animal prints would be super jazzy id buy em all... love y'all thx for auch a awrsome product and making affirdable for someone like me who lives on SSI.

I love Scentbird!
I really love Scentbird! I adore designer fragrances, but just the thought of plunking down $150 or more for a perfume I'm not sure will live up to my expectations is daunting.
Scentbird gives me the ability to try out fragrances that fit my scent profile without spending an arm and a leg doing it. I also get to choose perfumes I've loved in the past in addition to the excitement of adding new scents to my perfume inventory. Sure, I've gotten scents that I really don't care for or won't ever wear, but the choice has always been mine to make. I've seen some people get angry with Scentbird when Scentbird hate a perfume they've received... but you need to remember, you are the one putting the scents into your queue, not Scentbird. So if you get something you don't like, you just need to choose something different next month. Hopefully you'll hit the jackpot and find a fragrance you truly can't live without. But until that happens, Scentbird gives you the ability to buy and use any perfume you want on their site for a very nominal price. It's a great service in my opinion and even though I may get some clunkers from time to time, most times I've gotten perfume that I've really enjoyed wearing. This was all because Scentbird gives me the ability to smell like a million bucks without having to spend big bucks doing it.

Good Products and Good Customer Service
I started my subscription with Scentbird about 6 months ago and I really love the products offered by Scentbird. If you are interested in trying different fragrances before investing in the full sized product this is a great way to go. If you'[re anything like me, I get tired of fragrances after a while so, by subscribing to Scentbird I get sufficient amount of product enough for one month (if used daily) while trying multiple fragrances per month. It's the most affordable way to try prestige fragrance brands. My favorites have been brands like Cartier, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Caroline Herrera, Dior and Michael Kors. I like that I can choose to get 1,2 or 3 fragrances per month and I can skip or hold any time. You are probably wondering if I love it wo much why on 4/5 stars? Scentbird does not sent the fragrance holder (container that holds the vials) with every fragrance as some of the other fragrance companies and also Scentbird do not take returns if you don't like the fragrance where there are good companies that do. Other than that I would recommend Scentbird if you are a perfume lover.

Absolutely horrible company
I have been a member since June 2018. I recieved the first product with no problems But did not get anything in July. I contacted customer service and was told Scentbird are changing shipping facilities and orders were backed up and I will receive Julys order in August and to expect to receive both orders. I finally got the order for July and August as they said, but I haven't received anything since then all the while my account is being charged the $14.95. When I didn't receive the order for September I contacted them and got an email from them with a $10 store credit. I check the website and says order for September and October was shipped but no other info available and to check back later for tracking. In October I asked to have my subscription canceled due to not receiving the product and since this is the second time this has happened. My subscription has not yet been canceled! I am still being charged and not getting anything from them. This company is horrible and is a SCAM. I will be contacting the BBB or who ever else I have to. They are stealing people's money and this has to be stopped. Do not sign up with them unless you like giving away your money because you will not get what you pay for.

Basically a scam & HORRIBLE customer service. Impossible to cancel.
I ordered one month as a trial and was not happy with it. It took a long time to ship and when I finally got it another month was due in a few days. When I saw what Scentbird chose for me, I canceled on their website following the instructions in the FAQ. When I went back to check, there was no link any more to cancel but then they still billed me for the next month and I asked for a refund before it shipped and they were not helpful. On top of that, customer service is a joke. All the reps are condescending and very rude. I can't believe a company lets their CS reps operate like this. Don't waste your money. Go to Sephora and get a small sample for FREE if you want to sample fragrances. TOTAL SCAMMERS. No wonder they have an F rating at the BBB and thousands of complaints. They are doing something very wrong.

New long lasting scents every month
I've been a monthly subscriber for about six months now I get about two cents per month Scentbird seem to be long lasting and the authentic cologne which they were advertised a day the only thing stopping this from being a five star rating is that they don't give you the atomizer each month you only get the first one and then you have to buy the additional ones the rest of your colognes come in cardboard tubes if it weren't for that I would definitely give this a five star rating I bought the gift sets and giving them out for birthdays and Mother's Day I wish they would keep a few more higher end colognes like Sauvage by Dior And some of the newer colognes may come into their queue as time goes on guess I'll have to wait and see

Worst sub ever
BEWARE! I was on the 3 item plan for July. Since after July I decided to change to 2. I was already charged the $35 + each of my 3 items had a $5 upcharge fee. So I had paid $50. There is a glitch on their site where I couldn't manually downgrade, plus I had a $10 credit that was not applied to my July purchase. So of course because Scentbird don't have a customer service number I emailed them. They downgraded not just August, but July. They then charged me an additional $10 on my credit car. The customer service agent Daria assured me I'd still get the 3 item I had purchased. Said to for the inconvenience she'd add $10 to my credit. She then told me it was a glitch they'd fix for July to reflect the 3 items I had previously in my que. I check 2 days ago and they had change 2 of my items to nasty perfumes that didn't have an upcharge and I had NEVER had in my que ever! Not only that. But they charge me an additional $10 the same day, make the total charges $70. I then received an email saying they were refunding only 10.16 because I was charged for shipping & that from now on mine would be free shipping... on the website it states there's never shipping on the sub. Then they said I'd pay half next month instead of my $10 credit. They wiped out my entire $20 credit for me to only save 12.25 Even the senior customer service agent Bobby refused to make it right. I've literally been dealing with this nightmare for almost 2 weeks with no resolution. My emails have since been ignored. I told them to cancel July and give me a full refund since I didn't even choose 2 of the items. Which they refused to do because it's being "prepped", they could either call their shipping department and cancel it or cancel the label. It's not that difficult. I'll be contacting my credit card company tomorrow. This company has the worst customer service I have ever come across.

Love Scentbird
First of all of you have allergies to particular scents this is the ONLY way to go.

I have allergies. Certain scents give me migraines, others are not compatible with my body chemistry.

Name brands! Need I say more?

Returns are a breeze! What you think smells absolutely lovely at the perfume counter can sometimes be a bomb when you get it home. Then you are left with a $50-$300 bottle of cologne, perfume, or eau de toilette that will stay on your dresser forever.

With Scentbird, all that is over. You take the quiz, then read all about the scents. Myself, I am a citrusy, light/white flower, herb lover. I pick fragrances that cater to this. One of the scents I absolutely love is "unisex". I never ever thought about using a unisex fragrance before, now it is my sunny when it's gloomy/rainy day scent.

Another thing I love is the colored cases.

Just try it once. What have you got to lose, or better yet think about how many scents you can buy with what you would have spent on one bottle.

I don't feel valued as a subscriber
Every month it takes almost ANOTHER month before you will receive your shipments owing to over 10 days before Scentbird will even process the order AFTER they charge you and a slow shipper with multiple delays and redirects. The packaging is also quite shoddy.

Customer service is generally very poor and is filled with circular, scripted excuses rather than results. However, once in a while you connect with a gem.

The selections are limited (I certainly don't have 400,000 choices and they don't change if I update my scent profile nor can I find much by search). Their selection doesn't include many well-known, popular scents/lines and most they do have I would never buy if I smelled them in a shop. I have dozens I will never wear and no good way to pass them on to others or even store them. If you want the better scents, they add 30% "premium" upcharges even if you have their most expensive subscription. And they only give you one free case and then want to ding you for more no matter the level of subscription, frequency of shipments, or added orders. I guess you really only need one case but it seems like a small thing they could do to encourage loyalty and better branding exposure.

Searching for various scent profiles to identify the categories I like best, I've placed additional orders between my monthly shipments and spent quite a lot of money. There are never any promos that would be of interest to me and the inventory is heavy on newer lines that flood several offerings. When they do this, most don't have any reviews and often smell cheap, overly fruity, or very similar to one another.

Fragrance is highly personalized and your body chemistry can react differently from others'. Scentbird does try to give you information to choose the occasion in which you might wear something and the notes you can expect but you can't always tell if the scent is even intended to be masculine or feminine before you receive it. I also find the scent profiles limiting when asked to review and thus the categories tend to be unreliable. The audience (and therefore their reviews) appears to be generally very young and unsophisticated.

Scentbird tries to strike a balance between those that want to experiment or can't find scents locally and those that would like to try before making a large investment. Make no mistake, though, they make a fortune from rebottling these fragrances and most are cheaper, less intense eau de toilettes, not parfum.

Bottom line: I don't feel valued as a Scentbird subscriber.

Charged for Empty bottles
The first few orders were ok though I swear the colognes are watered down. My last 2 shipments are what made me angry as 2 orders ago one if my bottles was half empty and I ate the cost bc it was cheap. My last order I ordered 4 colognes and when Scentbird arrived all four bottles were empty and the tops were unscrewed off. The packaging was soaked and the mixed smells were awful together. I paid for basically 4 empty bottles of cologne. I tried finding a customer service number and they don't have one. Then I emailed and no response after waiting the 24 hours the site says to wait. So then I emailed again. 4 days later I recieved an email back stating I have to take pictures of the empty bottles and they will send me a new order when the investigation ends. Ummm scam scam scam! Do not waste your money on this site.

DO NOT DO IT!
I initially thought it was a cute idea. I am a hopeless perfume junkie... and so I thought why not? I thought Scentbird would be an awesome addition to my perfume closet... trust me I know quality when I smell it. So once my first pick arrived... I tried it out! If I wanted to buy fake perfume I would buy it from the guy I have to dodge on the street that sells huge bottles of it out of his car. If you don't believe me take yours to the mall and compare it with the same scent... you'll be glad you did. I did however buy the perfume I received from scentbird but I purchased it from Macy's. Shame on me for cheating on them. Lesson learned. Ofcourse I canceled, screen shot the confirmation incase I'm charged in the future. I hope this helps others.

My personal experience has been overall awesome - except for my que changing from time to time.
I've been an active member of the 3 products per month which renews every 6 months, for several years.

I recently canceled all of my 10 subscription boxes and only kept 3, this was one of the ones I loved so much I kept it. Personally, I really do love it. I now own all the top designer scents in these travel-friendly sizes. I have a whole collection now. All last year Scentbird also had stuff in the personal care, wellness, makeup and skin care sections but those products seem to be decreasing and disappearing. That's my only complaint, that those sections are dwindling due to popularity. It's where I discovered Lavido and learned I couldn't live without that particular brand in my life... and Kat Von D and CLE. They tend to feature new brands that eventually become viral giants.

As far as perfume brands, they have everything under the sun you could imagine. I bought a giant Michael Kors in 2017 and was so mad because I could've gotten it through Scentbird and realized it wasn't for me, now I'm stuck with a huge purchase... that's the kind of thing Scentbird SAVES you from doing.

Basically, you get to test out a scent (or three) each month and review it... and sometimes buy the full size version which isn't available often so when I get a "credit" to use, I tend to splurge on one of their candles. Their candles are more potent than Yankee or B&BW brands and I'm addicted to the Cedar one. But I digress...

Anyway, if you want to try out expensive brands and "date" the scent before "marrying" and buying the full version then this is for you. Shipping and packaging is always great, nothing has ever arrived broken and the presentation is great (cute sustainable tube box nestled inside recycled paper crinkles) along with a scent card.

If you don't douse yourself in scent (these are pretty strong) then it lasts a month. I ended up with so many decanters because these do last forever, that I started choosing their makeup, vitamins, and other stuff... I really like the program. If they had a "4 or 5" package deal beyond the 3 items per month, I'd probably get it. They give you an option to "buy your whole que" for a 20% off rate, and I may do that because I really like these.

You do get a chance to update your selections before shipping in case something becomes unavailable, which is rare but sometimes can happen with a popular item. Once they ran out of my favorite Versace so they just sent me my next month's preference. They're strong, and the cases are cute and leak-proof. If you like fragrance, you'll save money with this. That's why I've stuck with it so long.

UPDATE JUNE 2021: Lately I don't know what's going on with them. One of my 3 items last month was missing and apart from having to take a photo of the missing item (?!) packaging to show that it really was missing (I'm not sure how that actually proves it was missing) customer service was very kind and they sent it out to me asap.

Another weird thing is that I KNOW which products I'd added to my lineup for June, but when I went onto the site, those products had been removed and my July lineup had been moved into June's for the month. I can understand if they run out of things, delete and replace with what was supposed to come up next in line, but when I went into their site I saw they had plenty of the things that had been deleted. That's just annoying. So I went ahead and added them again. We shall see if they actually arrive.

A service for luxury perfumes that allow you to try scents you normally cannot afford or hesitant to
A great subscription service for trying scents you've always wanted to. Or for new ones on the market you want to try before you spend the big money on the bottle. These scents can transport you to another world. Scentbird can make you feel rich and exotic, no matter your budget. They come in delightful glass bottles you can purchase colorful cases for. Easy to transport. Very handy for your purse on date night or your suitcase on vacation. They have a quiz you can take to help select a direction and give you recommendations. I love getting the package in the mail! They also sell niche & top brand skincare, also lotions, facemasks, lipbalms, body butters, candles. Great gift options. It's just a fun way to elevate your mood and your day. I really enjoy my subscription and I highly recommend. Customer service is wonderful if you have any problems. Try it at least once... I think you'll be happy you did!

Lovely scents for a reasonable price
I started using Scentbird a few months ago. I fell in love with the idea of not having to go to a department store, being able to sample different fragrances all from my home I love the option to choose what you want and that you can make changes to re-organize which you want to receive when. My only issue is the very long time it seems to take to ship, it takes the money from your account quite a long time before you actually receive the package, and that is confusing and hard to adjust to. Several months I have missed shipping on time because I was not aware that it would be withdrawing the money when it did. Overall though, especially during this pandemic, a great way to try things out and a really nice pick me up every time it arrives. I actually have turned a few people on to it. I love getting packages, these are extra special! I get 3 a month, its great.

Too slow for five
Honestly this really lets you explore scents. You can have up to three a month but have the option to add on as many perfumes as you want. Some months I get my three normally billed and I add on seven! The problem is how fast Scentbird seem to sell out of everything that I want. In three hours I've had five scents removed from my que. A big improvement would be to reserve the perfume for the person who's que it's in. You can bet you get charged immediately. But it takes the entire month to get your monthly order. Why? My June order should be to me before July. The website and app are also very spotty. I have written numerous reviews for several scents to have them disappear. This is frustrating as I am in this to find scents that I wanna buy full size. I like to explore my options and when I go back on my thoughts on the perfumes. Only to have to re-wear it rewrite it and it gets old you know. Also add ons are a little bit more expensive than the subscribed - which is backwards from how every other service does this.

Crappy customer service!
Oh where do i start with this $#*! show?! Alright so to start i subscribed to both scentbird and scentbox. Scentbox was late with my first scents but Scentbird quickly made up for it and re shipped my scents and got it to me in two days! Scentbird however was a whopping 23 days late on my first scent! Oh wait thats not all... They were extremely hard to get a hold of. Eventually someone emailed me. But the email was full of excuses. They even told me to be patient! Heres my first thought in my head,"how the $#*! are you going to tell me to be patient, first of all you took my money, where the $#*! is my $#*! i paid for." So two weeks later i finally got my scent. And it was a good one. So i give them that. And they did give me anothet one for free, so i have to give them a star for that. HOWEVER, i have un subscribed with scentbird because of the lack of communication. AND because im sitting in the same boat as last month =-(. So if you go on the site it says that when you subscribe yo scentbird and pick your smell, they will ship out a few days later. Hahahahaha oh the lies! So if anyone is wanting smelly good stuff, i suggest scentbox! They have a way larger selection! They communicate and they are not late every single month.

Run away from scentbird. Run for your lives! Ahhhhhhhh

Don't Bother
Scentbird and it's founder may be getting rave reviews from the entrepreneurial world but their flame has gone out. Ever since a so-called relocation to a bigger warehouse their subscription service has been behind over 2 months. Ad- hoc orders or one shot orders fall into the same delivery rotation as the subscription service which is rediculous. On top of that there is no Customer Service number to call. What a unique idea not to have to listen to the millions of complaining customers, yet their billing department works perfectly. Your money is taken from your source in seconds. I love that business model, incoming revenue with no output of goods. How come I was never taught about this in macroeconomics. The only communication is thru email in which you get a bot email reply and that's about it. The other way to communicate with them is thru Facebook! Why would I want to inquire about a personal purchase in front of 20 million FB users. How are Scentbird getting away with this. I am presently waiting on a one time order made on 11/01/18, since I canceled my subscription and thought the one time order would be shipped out earlier. It is now 12/13/18 and I have not received any replies to the mass amounts of emails I have sent them and have reported them to the BBB where I see hundreds of others have as well. Hey Scentbird, a little 5 sentence blurb on your website regarding delays does not count as customer service.

Reliable
I have had my subscription for a few months and Scentbird have done nothing to subtract from their initial effort to earn my money. All these companies give you a great initial purchase, even scentbird gave me a free gift. But what makes scentbird better than all the rest of these copycats is that after the first month they still ship on time, they get your order right, product quality maintains at a high level, shipping updates and tracking are sent directly to my email and that makes for an easy no log in check up on the shipping details.
They also have a nice product sorting search filter that allows me to select the best cologne for me.
So you can smell expensive, good or fresh depending on the situation or person you are trying to attract.

Love it! I would appreciate some label to identify jars.
I received at the same time my first two months of this subscription. I love Scentbird and the perfumes I have selected: Wisteria Blue and Light Blue. I also really like the presentation and packaging, I will undoubtedly continue to try new perfumes. However I do not understand how Scentbird fail to not include the name of the perfume brand on the package. If I'm going to have 12 or 20 equal capsules, in this case the same color, how will I identify which one is which? At least they should add a sticker with the name of the brand to stick it to the jar, or a band to at least have where to write it. What do you do, the ones that have many Scentbird fragrances, to identify the jars? A lot of fragrance will be wasted if you decide to go spraying each one until you find the one you are looking for.

Dishearten and furious!
I'm terribly disappointed I've got my friends to subscribe you took the money twice out of her account she still has not received ANY perfume I'm not going to recommend you to anybody else because it's embarrassing there are other perfume companies her name is Gina Callahan Bowen! Hopefully you can make this right or I'm cancelling and going to another perfume company! Aftervi made my choices on mine you send me a email that you no longer offered Norelle Elixir that's why I chose to go with you I went and bought a bottle for$150.00 so cancelling you wouldn't be a problem because my other favorite Joy by Dior you don't carry looks like it souls day be best just to but at Ulta and get rid of your so called services!
