Great Service
I was very happy with their service. ScoreSense always answered their phones in a timely manner. I wish that I could have kept the service but due to the pandemic, I was in a tight financial bind. I cancelled within the 7 day period and received all of my 3 credit scores a long with a full credit report for free. Much much better than free credit report. Com Their reports are easy to read. They even sent me a cancellation notice within a few minutes. I will refer them to my friends and family.
This is a great co. I highly recommend them!

A BIG RIP-OFF!
I noticed that I had been charged on my credit card for $29.95, and I didn't know that I had agreed to anything with them. I requested a refund and a cancellation. I was refused a refund because I didn't request the refund until after I had been billed! How could I request a refund before I was billed if I didn't know I was going to be billed for something I didn't know I had agreed to! ScoreSense were very generous and gave me $1.00.
BIGGEST RIP-OFF I HAVE EVER HAD! BEWARE WHEN YOU ARE CHECKING YOUR SCORES THAT YOU THINK ARE FROM A FREE SITE! 05/05/2021 OTL*SCORESENSE.COM *******327 TX $29.95= CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD!

Bad business practice
Legal or not, these automatic enrollment free trial offers are an unscrupulous business practice. Company's should be required to provide notification that the free trial period is ending and that enrollment and billing will be processed unless the customer declines. By the time I noted that my account was being charged it was almost 1 month. When I contacted them to cancel ScoreSense said they would have to submit the request for refund for approval. I recieved the attached notification that the request was denied based on the length of time the account had been active and services that had bern provided. I did not recieve any communication after I signed up for the free trial period. I consider this a scam.

Scoresense
Back to their old predatory ways of 2014 still, after paying $22M. Like the rest of the dissatisfied 1-STARS, I never signed up. I am assuming it was thru a payday loan service i had to use for a few month. BTW you are better off begging for money on the street than going to a loan shark.
I am waiting to be simply refunded but not too hopeful base on what you'll have said
Wish me luck.

I would not recommend
I am disappointed with ScoreSense. I tried them for 7 days because I was applying for an auto loan online & it requested that I sign up with ScoreSense; so I did. Then when I was checking my bank account; I seen that ScoreSense were taking the $29.95 fee out; I called immediately to cancel. Due to when my bank posts things; I was cancelling on day 8. As the 1st rep was explaining to me that he would cancel for me; I was trying to ask about a refund, when the line went dead silent. I called back & explained to the 2nd rep whom I was talking to and that the 1st rep cancelled my account, but I needed to know about a refund. The 2nd rep informed me the account was cancelled; yes sir I was already aware of this. I want to know if there will be a refund or at least a refund request. Finally the 2nd rep stated he would put in the request & I would hear something within 1-2 business days. Not even 24hrs later; I received email from ScoreSense that they will not be refunding the $29.95. Well, I have nothing to show for the $29.95 except a bad taste for ScoreSense. I will not be referring anyone I know to this company. Thank You ScoreSense for the lack of understanding, compassion or good customer service.

Rip-Off
I inadvertently enrolled in "scoresense.com" where you can check your credit rating. You can check your credit rating for free on multiple sites, so I'm not even sure how I did this. But, I had a $1 enrollment fee on my September credit card statement and an additional $29.00 fee for the August monthly fee. Why would anyone want to pay $30/month to check their credit report? These people must get everyone at least one time. I suppose it pays off for them... I called to have these charges removed from my credit card, stating I had no idea I even enrolled in anything. ScoreSense did reverse the $1 but denied the $29.00 fee. I will be calling my credit card company to attempt to have the charge removed by them. BEWARE. At the very least you'll waste time getting rid of their erroneous charge. But, you may get dinged for $29.00 - this kind of company should be illegal. They seem to have my social security number too - very disturbing. Did I give it to them?! I think their site popped up when I was looking at something my bank or credit company sent me. I wish I could remember how I got introduced to their site in the first place, so I could file a report with the Consumer Protection Agency.

Shady Company
This site is trash, and ran by trash people. Signed up for the membership to review my credit scores. Subsequently called 4 different times to cancel my membership, twice was kept on hold for over 2 hours, one the line was closed 20 mins before it was supposed to be, and once (my fault) where I missed the time to call. Tried to email and chat, and was told ScoreSense couldn't cancel that way. Finally got through on my fifth attempt, conveniently after the "free trial" period ended. Then was finally able to cancel and told they would "review" my request for a refund on their membership fee, which I had "used" for 2 days. Thanks again scoresense!

Great trial. Lousy subscription
Yah u sign up for 7 day trial n all 3 reports come up thats great but then monthly is 29.95 = 360 a year ScoreSense dont want u to add up the numbers. I was promised a reduction to 5.95. Per month which was great n well worth it but they misrepresented it. You only get a monthly update so they dont refresh but once every 30 days. That suks when ur trying to improve credit score makes the. Plan worthless

Automatically enrolls you for a subscription and won't refund
I signed up for free trial for a credit report. ScoreSense automatically enrolled me in their subscription without letting me know and charged me every month for four months. I finally noticed it and contacted them. They didn't approve the refund and after I called a second time they approve refund for one month. I was being charge the whole time without even knowing that I was enrolled. That's shady business...

Misinformation on my credit report
Your report has 2 accounts in collections, repossession, or are significantly past due. I have paid off all Tax Liens as of February 14,2020; my car loans are either paid off or up to date. None of my credit cards are past due. All three credit companies, Experian, etc. show my score significantly higher.

Can you please let me know what is on your report that shows 2 accounts in collections. Thank you.

Warning! Generates Ongoing Charges! Not Free!
When requesting my credit scores, I did not see any indication that request generated an automatic membership in something that would also generate ongoing cost. When I checked my credit card statement there was a $19.95 charge. I called the company and asked for a reimbursement and cancellation of the ongoing membership. After waiting a day, I received an email stating ScoreSense were willing to cancel the membership and cancelled a $1.00 fee, which is not what was requested! When I called a second time, the individual stated that the ongoing fee was disclosed in a "Welcome" email. I did not receive a welcome email. Went back through my email records, spam and deletes. I did receive 4 emails, none of which were a welcome email and NONE of which contained information about the ongoing fee. If you choose this company, be aware of the ongoing fee! They won't return your money unless you pounce on it right away, if then!

SCAM RIPOFF
The only reason for one star is you cannot give negative or zero stars. This company is a total ripoff. DO NOT fall for their 'free' credit checks.
ScoreSense Identity protection for $29.95 per month
TRANSACTION DATE BILLED AMOUNT REFUND STATUS 03/08/2019 $39.95 Not Approved The refund decision is based in part on how long the account has been active and the services provided.
I was a 'member' for 7 days before I caught their charge. Note: $40 not $30 to start with. ScoreSense provided NO services, no anything in the 7 days, yet refuse to refund. Filed with CC processor.

Don't do it
Feels like a scam to me, I signed up for a free trial through a app, but when I went to cancel I couldn't get through to customer service and when I finally did ScoreSense refuse to refund my money back to my acct, and even tried to get me to sign up for a cheaper subscription, this site is a scam and they make it so you can't reach them in time to cancel so they can hold to your money even after trying to contact them for several days

Does what it says
Got my scores and reports from ScoreSense. I don't have an issue with them, just the entire BS of the credit system. It's our info, and since ID theft is such a big issue, we should be able to have free & unlimited access to our scores and reports, and not pay for it, because for victims of ID theft, especially when the data breeches happened, we're the ones suffering for it.

Poor Service
I would give zero stars if possible. This is a complete scam. I was unable to load any of the information from the website, it wouldn't allow me to open/view anything. I sent an email requesting my subscription be cancelled, got no response, but my account was charged 30.00. The person that I spoke to on the phone was very professional and understanding. However, your service and product SUCK. Use the 30.00 to improve it.

A detailed look into the good, bad, and ugly of what you look like in the world of credit
It was great seeing the information from all three bureaus side by side. It is eye-opening as to just how different your report can vary from one to the next
There are actually a few accounts on my credit that have been reported with very different details to each bureau (such as opening/closing dates, and even the payment details are completely different in some cases). Strange how you could appear to be three different individuals based on the wide variance of information that each bureau has listed. Looking like the perfect customer on one forum, and an average customer on another. There's got to be a better way. One that would ensure that the information creditors report in on the consumer, actually match from one bureau to the next.

WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS. Sounded like a scam.
SEEMS LIKE A SCAM COMPANY BY THE WAY THE REPRESENTITIVES HANDLE THE CALLS. I tried 3 reps and ScoreSense all could not cancel my account. Finally the last one did after 25 minutes on the phone. More training of your people. What a hassle. Seems like you guys train them to "NOT" CANCEL ACCOUNTS. Bad business. This is how you make customers feel... On that last call, if they had not canceled my account, the next calls were going to be my Bank then the Better Business Bureau. Then the Media. They need more training! All three of your reps made this company sound like a TOTAL scam. It felt so scammed that I called my bank to cancel my credit card and to reissue me another card. I would ask a lot of questions if I were you going in to this. When they start asking you things that you know that they should already know... pump the breaks and don't answer another thing. They even said they didnt see my account. Even with my address given to them, even with my name given, even with my zip. Really? Word to the wise: I f they seem like they are giving you the run around and doesn't want to cancel, call your bank and cancel their payment.

I called Creit Karma to find info on a lien on my property. I did not want a credit score because I
After lengthy issues with credit scores that I did not need, ( I knew before I called that my credit score is 814) I wanted info on a lien that is on my property, After all the info about credit scores I finally got to talk with Emily and she gave me a phone number to help me get info regarding liens. Please cancel my temporary membership. Please confirm cancellation. Thank You Gerald Samonek

Most unhelpful
Score sense notified me that a bank claimed that I/O you and $40 on a credit card that was closed two years ago. When I called the bank, ScoreSense claimed that they had never done this and agreed that when I closed I had paid my balance in full. When I called Scoresense they basically said they could not and would not help me figure out what happened. So basically I would say that they "service "that they provided was to put a black mark on my credit rating.

Refound
I lost my job due to covid and can't afford to pay i asked for a refund ScoreSense denied me only one refund on the 21of December the same day it suppose to come out my checking and i canceled my subscription the same day on the 21od December. They canceled my subscription for me and the next day denied me my 29.95 and said i wasnt getting it back... covid took my job i can't afford them to keep my 29.95. Who else can i talk to this is not right at all
