Warning this company Screen With Envy is a scam if you are not satisfied you will not be refunded after return the owners Sophie & Tom Birkert are scammers

Hi Sophie I received my order NL8244 on Tuesday 17 May but the beautiful screen was not usable for what I intended and returned it to them on Wednesday 18 May around 1.15 pm, returned to you in venlo venrayseweg 130c and handed over to your employee Veronica who received the package has received. I am still waiting for a credit.

Unfortunately there is only one person who is in charge of refunds.
So it is possible that the refund will only be processed tomorrow.
Once it processes this, it can take up to 5 business days for you to receive your money.

Hi Haseeb I got this same answer on 25-5 even though I'm getting very impatient and expect a refund this week or I'll come pick up the screen again in venlo
and put it on marketplace.

I have now been waiting for delivery of screens and trellises for months.. they used to be unique in what they offer but there are now several companies offering comparable and in some cases better products out there now so please don’t be sucked in by what this company claims to be.! I fell for it but I sincerely hope you don’t make the same mistakes! They habitually lie to you as a consumer by constantly stalling you until there shockingly bad suppliers supply them….. they claim to be a family run business and manufacture all their products but I discovered today that they actually do import their screens from outside of the UK.! They say items are in stock but they are not.! They say items are dispatched and they are not! They promise delivery times which are false even though they know the product hasn’t even left them.! They really are utterly shambolic and utterly dishonest at what they claim to be. It is a great shame as the products are nice but you just have to be lucky I guess….. but my honest advice is avoid.!
Should be no stars. Ordered 3 months ago and stated item out for delivery. Then heard nothing for weeks. Sent wrong item, discount code did not work. Was only a test order to see if they were reliable. I got my answer. For a £30 order they have lost thousands. Go to Charles and Ivy. My bank are contacting them about fraudulent withholding of funds, and trading atandards will be next. Ignores 20+ messages, emails etc and still no refund after 3 months. Keep away.
Same as everyone else here. Ordered products, never received, no money back! Shocking, needs to be shut down now! Strongly advise everyone to lobby every consumer programme to get them exposed. Cut them off at source! Even their ex employees say they are made to lie to customers. It’s abysmal in this day and age!
Don’t not buy anything from this company!!! All an absolute scam! They take your money and you receive no goods!!!! My hard earned money when I have a young family to fend for and trying to make our garden for somewhere for us to spend as a family and bloody worked hard for it for then to be taken the len of by this company! £420 they have stole from me and have held up all the work in my garden renovation! Promised that my screens would be delivered and haven’t arrived excuse after excuse saying they have been lost in transit etc! This company is going down the tubes and clearly don’t have anything in stock but happily take your money!! Communication is shocking! Boycott that company I’ve been in touch with trade and standards and pulling my money back through my bank!
I paid in full for a gate back in March this year and am still waiting for delivery! I have emailed and called numerous times but no one ever responds! I have asked for a refund but yet again there’s absolutely no response! This company is still advertising online and boasts about how they provide the screens featured on Love Island whilst existing customers have had their money taken but have never received their order! This is theft and I don’t know how they are getting away with it. Avoid this company!!!
I wished I had read the reviews before putting in an order.
We put our order in worth £200 thinking it would be next day delivery, 7 days later we had heard nothing. So I emailed, rang with no luck of an answer.
We only live 20 miles from the company so we decided to pay them a visit, and we didn't leave until we had our items, we ordered 16mm trellis but they only had 5mm so we decided that was better than nothing. They owed £25 refund which was promised in 7-10 days but guess what, we've received nothing. Worst company ever.
How I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. Absolutely terrible customer care. Like other customers I ordered 3 months ago, assured of delivery within a couple of days. Payment was taken immediately but 3 months later I am still awaiting delivery. They do not answer phone calls, never return calls and e mails are acknowledged but never actioned. I am now cancelling the order but expecting a battle for a refund.
Please avoid this terrible company.
In my recent experience 'Screen with Envy Ltd' is a terrible company.
I paid £431+ three weeks ago; no confirmation of order - only a fabricated 'consignment number', which the named delivery company knows nothing about.
No response from SwE to my requests for info on my order.
No response from SwE to my request for a refund.
So I'll now be contacting Trading Standards + the BBC 'Rip-Off Britain' team.
Please share a warning to your contacts not to part with any £s for this company's phantom products.
Screen with Envy con-artists need to be outed across the country for their faudulent operation.
Please spread the word to save others losing money & being faced with subsequent weeks of hassle. Fingers crossed for anyone else on here who's trying to retrieve their hard-earned cash!

I have had nothing but grief from this company. Started off ok but they lie to you about everything, delivery times, stock availability, even if by some miracle you receive an order it will most likely be wrong or bits missing (as mine was!)
I have spent weeks chasing them and being lied to. I and 100's of others are in the same or worse position.
They are blocking and removing all bad comments on their Facebook pages to try and hide the shambles that this company is.
DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY !
I ordered a screen back in January. I had an email about delivery, a delivery came, well part of one! I got a screen and 1 post! Helpful. Rang and told them they said they'd send a new one out on 48hr delivery.. took 4 days but it arrived. Only in May when I was well enough to try and put the screen up did I realise I only had 1 fitting kit! So I rang again and ordered the spares.. that was 4 weeks ago!
They have been a nightmare to get hold of. They don't answer the phone, the chat people said my order was shipped on the 25th yet I have had nothing from the delivery Co to verify that. Can't ever get through to anyone.
If there is a problem then why are they not just upfront about it rather than lying and p*ssing their customers off!
Sort it out!
Avoid this company at all costs - they are an absolute shambles! They get 1 star because, well, you have to don't you.
I ordered on the 20 March. I was repeatedly given delivery dates - not one arrived.
I cancelled the order and received confirmation back on the 4 May. The refund would take 5-10 working days. As of 30 May it still hasn't arrived.
I received a shipping notice on the 16 May. I called and emailed them to let them know it was cancelled. My local courier still tried to contact me on the 25th May to deliver.
The customer service team is awful. Not one is capable of carrying out basic tasks. This stems from the CEO, Sophie, who I copied in on emails in order to get a response. Guess what - a blank email in response. Sums up the whole company.

They have no products but still keep taking peoples money.
Even if you get an email telling you they have processed a refund it won’t happen.
They continue to use social media to promote items they have not got .They have now blocked my access to comment or react to their social media posts, I feel sorry for those people still parting with their money.
Report them to Facebook and Trading standards.
I paid on my credit card , fingers crossed I might see my £340 again.
Others have contacted me who are not so lucky, having used Klarna etc.
Just awful company.
Delayed my project.
Order placed beginning April. Received a small amount of my order.
Was promised delivery of the rest mid May.
Received an email stating they are sponsoring love island and that it won’t cause any delays to orders.
The next day they told me my order will be beginning July (3 months after placing my £7k order)
Phoned and complained on Monday. Was promised a call back Tuesday before 10am. Never happened
I’m a repeat customer but never again.
What a company.
Poor service, no after sales, open promises, repeatedly sorry in every email, no communication for days, always late in response, but never any action. Still awaiting partial refunds and ongoing despite for more than 2 months.
Should come with a hazard warning ⛔️
Be prepared to have no customer experience and no after service.
Shame as when not faulty, damaged or wrong items sent. Screens are decorative and well presented in your garden
The worst online experience I have ever encountered. They promise next day delivery and then just send emails regarding issues with their courier. I have been promised one delivery date after another. They are basically knowingly selling stock they don’t have, presumably to bolster their cash flow at the customer’s expense. I have cancelled my order and now not looking forward to trying to get my refund processed as they still haven’t processed my last refund which was confirmed as being processed in 1-3 days 3 weeks ago
I don't know where to start. I ordered a radiator cover in November 2021 and I'm still waiting for my delivery. Must be the worst company I've had to deal with and customer service experience is awful. They definitely have a 'script' to pick from (copy and paste into e-mails) when responding to queries, as narrative never changes. Extremely patronising. This is the response from their customer service agent last month:
"We really do appreciate your understanding and patience, I am certain that when you do receive your order and finalize your project it will all look amazing and will make up for this delay!"
I have had to constantly chased them when their 'promised date' comes around, and no contact from them or delivery. I've been given 3 dates so far (anticipated arrival of stock). Get your house in order! Stop offering items for sale (incl. pre-orders) until you have delivered all your outstanding orders.
They had the cheek to send me an e-mail stating the following last week:
"Hey There,
Firstly, I’d like to thank you for your continued support and patience regarding your outstanding order.
You may have spotted that we have just been named as the official home and garden partner of this year’s Love Island.
I wanted to reassure you that this announcement will not result in any further delay of your delivery. Getting existing orders to clients is our highest priority and we are working around the clock to get them ready for you, which we will do ASAP
Thank you so much again for your patience and support, it really is appreciated.

I spoke to Customer Service Agent (Oli) today and asked if the above confirms that I will definitely receive my item in June (as promised again) - was told "if there any further delays we'll be in contact"
Avoid at all costs. We ordered over £700 worth of goods. They arrived damaged and after a week or so going back and forth with customer services (who are the worst customer service team I have ever dealt with) they sent replacements. These came again damaged and not even the correct products. Again another couple of weeks back and forth with the customer services and they sent replacements for the third time. Low and behold these also arrived damaged and again the complete wrong order. After months we then decided to give up and get issued a refund. This is proving to be difficult and we are still in talks with the customer service team (when they answer you.) I've had no choice than to take itto the ombudsman. It's very disappointing not only for ourselves but for a company who is trying to do well, what a complete waste of money on there part. We have £700 worth of damaged goods in our garage which is no use to anyone. What a shame screens with envy, good products but poor staff and delivery
They say 24 hour delivery, after waiting in all morning at lunchtime when saw that the tracker wasn’t updating tried to call. You can’t get through on phone but was told on the chat box that delivery was delayed and would hear within 48 hours when our new delivery would be arranged! They could have told us! Rubbish
I ordered a substantial amount of products from them in February and was told my order would be received in six weeks, it has now been eleven weeks, no contact from them. I have called on several occasions to speak to customer service for existing orders, you wait for an eternity for the service to say leave a message as no one is available and if you do get through they give no information and do not know when you will receive your order, they then make promises to speak to an individual that will have that information and call you back, never to receive a call.
If you press one for new orders amazingly you get straight through but they say they can’t help, they can only transfer you back to the Nom answering non helpful, non informed “customer service”. Also apparently there’s no one in charge available, no manager, and refused to give a point of contact of any manager.
People don’t waste your time, avoid like the plague.
