Delivery takes quite a while, and the fabric of the cover is good, but the first one we received had seams that were coming apart, seemed like the thread was just disintegrating. We ignored it at first thinking maybe it would not matter, but seams kept coming apart until we finally contacted them. Being after the initial 7-business-day return period, Seal Skin Covers said they'd send a replacement, but they charge $35 for shipping to do so. We bit the bullet and did so, and it again took quite a while that we were without a cover. I included a letter and emailed asking them to check for this problem because we would return any with the same issue, but by the way it arrived all shrink-wrapped and already seams coming apart, it seemed they couldn't have checked (they are made in China!). Then, the new one we received also had seams that were coming apart so we contacted them again. It takes a few days for them to approve any returns and by this time, we weren't confident another third cover would be any different. So we requested either a refund or them to cover a local seamstress to reinforce the seams, but they declined either option. We have now received our third cover and the seams look ok, although some stitching does not catch all layers, so we are just hoping it lasts. A cover that exposes the car is a problem, obviously defeating the purpose for it, to prevent moisture and dust. Make sure to check it over well if you purchase one.

Worst customer service I have EVER dealt with
Worst customer service I have EVER dealt with. The first cover I received was for a boat 3 feet longer then mine. I took pictures and emailed support to see what was going on. After a few days I received an email and return label saying to send it back and Seal Skin Covers would send me a new one. I had no idea if I received the wrong one the first time or what I was receiving the second time. I mailed the cover back and was told in the email that they would ship the replacement cover and email me the tracking number within 24-48 hours after receiving the old one back. 4 days after they received it and not receiving the tracking number I called their support. I was on hold for 30 minutes before someone finally answered. They told me the replacement was ready to be sent out and I would receive the tracking number within 24 hours. A week later after still not getting the tracking number I called again, again waited on hold for 30 minutes before talking to someone. This time they told me that they were backed up but my cover had already shipped and the manager would email me the tracking number ASAP. 5 more days passed before I finally received the tracking number. The cover didnt ship for another 3 days AFTER I called the second time. It took 2 WEEKS for them to ship me the replacement cover and having sat on hold for an hour to be lied to TWICE, the replacement cover only fits slightly better. THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!

Real Bad Experience - Bad Customer Service
I ordered a cover online and the ordering process was straightforward and simple enough. I choose a top of the line product and was intially looking forward to receiving the item over the course of the next few days, to cover my new car.

After 3 days i received the shipping email with a tracking number via Ontrac along with the usual message ( it may take 24-48 hours to show) and then delivery should take place within 4-8 days of placing the order.

I placed my order on the 19th July - on the 30th of July realizing no delivery had yet taken place, i checked the tracking # provided, to find out that although Seal Skin Covers had received my shipping order no product was actually given to the shipper. It was to late in the day to contact SealSkinCovers, so i checked again the following day 31st July, and even spoke with the shipper, who confirmed no package was ever given to them, depsite the package label being generated.

I called the company, who said they would look into it and get back to me within 48hours, i asked to speak with a senior affilate, to which noone else if available to talk with.

Basically i needed the product for my new car ( as i'm about to go on vacation), but now with getting no reason for not shipping and then for an additional 2 days waiting, plus they also stated that they would NOT expedite shipping once they have worked out whats gone wrong...

This left me with having to cancel the order and order with someone else ( who has price matched) and also who GUARANTEED delivery within 48 hours of the order.

Seal Skin Covers - You need to get your act together, after all the delays, you should have had this issue resolved within 4 hours (not wait 48Hours) and then expedited a cover. But nope, basically the attitude was - we don't care, and you have to wait, cos were not rushing! Shameful!

I purchased the cover 3 weeks before a trip
I purchased the cover 3 weeks before a trip. My JetSki is stored in the garage so I never thought about checking it's 'water resistance' or its wind travel as it's marketed as having the ability to withstand both. While the fit wasn't exactly what I had hoped for, I was willing to live with it as long as it did what I was looking for. A week before we left I removed the JetSki from storage with the cover in place. As luck would have it we received a rainfall of 1' overnight. The next morning I opened the cover to find that my JetSki was full of water! I immediately contacted customer service advising them of the problem. While the website states 24-48 hours before Seal Skin Covers get back with you it took 4 days before I got a response. The response I got stated that '1 in 1000' fail and that I would have to return the cover for them to inspect before they would send me another, if found to be faulty which would take a couple of weeks! Wouldn't do me much good now! Used the cover, anyway, to travel 700 miles round trip to the coast and back. Had to adjust the cover at every stop due to wind , and eventually did away with the straps associated with the cover and went with bungee straps and found them to be more effective! Somewhere during travel we lost a zipper handle which added to the difficulty of use. In my opinion this cover is nothing better than a dust cover! After returning home and reading all reviews I realize that I'm not '1 in 1000'! My bad! If your looking for a dust cover, I would recommend. For anything else, go elsewhere! They got my money and they will not get anymore!

Worst customer service EVER
To start this whole thing off, we ordered a new cover for our boat the week we were getting it detailed so it could come home extra clean, we get it the boat home, go to put the cover on and turns out Seal Skin Covers sent us the wrong product. (Didn't have the cutouts for the tower) so we carefully box it up and contact the company. Spent 45 minutes on hold before I got to customer service only for them to tell me I had to send in an email request there was nothing they could do on the phone. Wait another three days for email response to come for them to tell me that their return/exchange policy is only valid for 30 days, we contacted them on day 31. After back and forth with customer service which you better be prepared to sit on the phone for at least an hour to get to talk to someone, they said they would allow it for exchange. That's all we want mind you is to get the CORRECT product we ordered. We have to pay a restocking fee and still can't get anyone on customer service to tell us how we are supposed to pay that. It's been almost three weeks back and forth with them. WORST EVER!

Substandard China Made Cover/Misrepresented Warranty
I purchased my first boat cover in 2014 and it was replaced in late 2016. To their credit Seal Skin replaced the first cover for a $35 charge under their 10 year warranty plan. My second cover has now failed (just like the first one) and now I've learned their 10 year warranty isn't a 10 year warranty at all. Seal Skin says Seal Skin Covers will only provide a one time replacement which isn't a 10 year warranty. Now they are blaming the customer (me) for their poor quality and misrepresented warranty. They say the cover should be protected from pressure points, correctly installed and not used in hot climates like Florida where I live. None of these cautions are mentioned in their sales or warranty statement. The material starts to fade after about a year and then it begins to disintegrate. Then the rips and tears begin to the point repair is impossible. Seal Skins refuses to provide a replacement cover so I've got it patched together with Gorilla tape. See the attached pictures. Don't buy this cover if you live in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana or Texas unless you're protect it from the sun!

Cover is nice but customer service is weak
I purchased a sealskin cover for my UTV with the understanding that it could be used during transport, while trailering, the cover did not hold up to the use while trailering. The straps broke which led to the cover getting a huge tear in it. I called Sealskin customer support who explained the warranty process to me. Read that before you purchase so you understand that to get them to warranty the product you purchased you have to pay $35 "to help offset the shipping costs" so your warranty costs you money. After emailing and calling them Seal Skin Covers agreed to replace my cover. I paid the fee then had to wait 2 days for the shipping label, I shipped the cover back to them and waited for a response that they received it and were shipping the new one to me as they had said they would. No response. I ended up calling them again only to find out they fumbled this and had not sent me the new cover as they said they would. They said they would ship the new one to me today. This entire process was a pain, it has taken 30+ days now to get this warranty claim processed. The cover is pretty nice, 5 stars but the customer service, 0 stars. I really hope others do not experience this and that the company takes measures to fix this kind of service.

What they sell is not what they advertise! Buyers beware!
I want to share a very important caution to all my car friends out there to steer clear of a company called Seal Skin Covers car covers. Seal Skin Covers are, what seems to be, a huge fat hoax. They claim to sell custom car covers, made of breathable fabric... but instead what you receive is some vinyl piece of junk. They claim to have a 100% money-back guarantee. What they don't mention is the 20% restocking fee to "clean it and resell." Doesn't sound like a 100% money-back to me... When I voiced my consternation about the differences between what they claimed to sell on their website vs what I received they claimed it was "because the pictures online are zoomed in on the fabric"
The pictures speak for themselves. DO NOT, I repeat, D-O N-O-T, buy car covers from this company! You will be disappointed and frustrated.
Oh, and their fine print reads they sell "semi-custom" covers. They are just a standard size... not specific to any car. So, just more lies.
Please share with any car buddies and spread the word!
Disclaimer: My credit card company gave me the rest of my refund, but this shouldn't be necessary! Save yourselves the headache!

Incredibly poor customer service
I needed a cover for a new boat. I went on line and placed the order. There was a promotional code to save an additional 10% on the purchase. I entered the code and then clicked on the key to complete the purchase. The code did not apply to the purchase for some reason. There was no option to cancel the process. I searched the entire site. I finally found a "contact us" link and submitted a request for a cancellation of the order, so I could follow the process again and hopefully the discount would be applied? The reply to my request said I would be contacted within 24 hours. It was a Saturday, and Seal Skin Covers are closed on the weekends for some reason? I waited for a response. Monday- Nothing? I called on Tuesday. I was told since 24 hours had passed they would not make an adjustment on the bill? To make a long story short my only option was to return the cover, pay a 20% restocking fee, and then re-purchase the item to get my 10|% discount. This is clearly one of the silliest and worst customer service experiences I have ever experienced. Many of the members of my fire department own boats, as well as almost all of my fishing friends. I will inform everyone that I possibly can of this companies poor practices and they will lose far more than the lousy 10% they would have paid out to do the right thing and correct this problem!

ZERO customer service
Ordered a cover #100135680 (placed on October 18,2018 5:23:03 PM EDT). This order did not ship initially and the company reported that I would need to file a request ticket to get the product shipped from the warehouse. After nearly a month and several emails and phone calls (and threats of reports to BBB), the product shipped and arrived at the new year 2019. This cover was applied and utilized as instructed. By July the cover began to shed a light film. This has progressed and it is no longer waterproof. I called several times in September, October, and November finding it difficult to reach anyone. I was able to reach someone in Early December who informed me the online warranty request would be necessary. Dec - 8 Warranty ticket submission. No contact from company Dec 13 - Phone call with John who an email was sent Tuesday, December 10 asking for SKU #. That email was never found. I explained to John that the serial number is the only number I can find. He input that information and informed me I would hear back from a supervisor in 24 hours or Monday at the latest. No contact from company Dec 20 - Called the *******038 which was not answered for several calls. I spoke Alex eventually who informed me I will need to ship the product back to them AND pay $35 to process the warranty. I explained that thus far the company has not provided any response and that I was doing all the work and I was skeptical I would receive a cover based on the previous experience. The purpose of the cover is to protect my automobile during foul weather I would prefer not to leave the car uncovered during the worst weather months of the year. I asked that a cover be sent FIRSTand I will ship the original back immediately. Initially, I was even willing to pay the $35processing fee (which seems high) but given this product has lastest less than 1 year of the 10-year warranty and the company has relied upon me to complete communications I'm not comfortable with this as I don't trust them.

Terrible quality for the cost: Seal Skin Supreme All Weather Outdoor Cover × 1 2009 Toyota Yaris 2 D
1 is actually too high. I drove 4 hours to cover a vehicle for a family member with a new cover I purchased several months ago. If a cover doesn't fit well it will blow off or tear due to hurricane and storm winds in FL. It was missing 1 grommet out of the 4 so there was no easy way to tie the front to rear ends down. Significantly oversized in length, missing cable, lock would not lock.
10 minute job became an hour and will be a lot of work to remove. I had to crawl under the car. Have to buy a working decent lock. The lock that came with the one cable, which was significantly too long for the width yet too short for the length, looks like a "toy" lock used on small luggage and will not lock. There was no grommet in the rear attachment point and no cable or lock for front to back. Seal Skin Covers are obviously using a "one size fits many" view to save $, even thought the price did not reflect this. Had to wind up the excess and tie it with rope front to rear.

It appears to be designed for use in a garage where wind, excess material and missing accessories won't matter, or possibly they are targeting customers who like to waste money.

Ordered my cover 14 days ago
Ordered my cover 14 days ago. I waited for my shipping update that never came. I contacted them after 1 week because the status on the order had not changed. According to their website the covers would ship within 2-3 days of order and it stated that this would not be impacted because of COVID. The gentleman told me that it had been shipped and that I would get an email within 24 hours with my tracking number. I waited a whole week again. Contacted again and the gentleman told me that it had been shipped and I would get an email by the end of the day. No email. I contacted again 3 more times and no one would give me a straight answer. Couldn't just give me the tracking number, couldn't tell me when it was shipped. One of them even told me that I would get a discount for my troubles. I'm starting to feel scammed and asked how I would get a discount as I had already paid in full. Still no straight answer and I would get an email with my tracking number by the end of the day. I paid through PayPal and told them I would be filing a report for my money back because this feels like a scam. I contacted again just a few minutes ago because PayPal reporting says to MAKE SURE you try to resolve it with them directly. So I again contact them. The guy takes 30 minutes but he does come back and tells me that my cover had shipped on the 7th which was 4 days after placing the order. So that is fine and I'm supposed to be receiving it today according to their own shipping policy, and he promised yet again that I would get an email with the tracking number. Well, I did get an email within 5 minutes of that conversation with the tracking number. Guess what UPS says when I click on that number. "Label was created" that is the only status on the entire package, Label was created. Guess when that Label was created.... you guessed it, 5 minutes before I got that email!!! What?? Dishonest, scamming company. Not to mention that the website is set up so you can't look for your cover yourself, you have to talk to one of the customer service people and ask. Crappy website, Crappy service, Crappy Crappy Crappy! Just wow!

BUYER BEWARE! Wrong cover received... nightmare began
I ordered a Seal Skin Supreme All Weather Outdoor Cover on 27 April. I received the cover on 6 May. It was too small. It was also the wrong model. There is no way that the cover Seal Skin Covers sent would provide any protection against hail. It was thin nylon and had a pathetically thin liner, very similar to a 'Bounce' brand cloths drier sheet.

I contacted the company and asked for an exchange. I WISH THAT I HAD NOT. They sent a return label. I returned the cover on 10 May and Seal Skin Covers received it on 17 May. Their return instructions said they would send out the exchange within 48 hours of receiving the return. Because of the weekend, the cover should have shipped by 21 May.

On 22 May, I emailed customer service politely asking for an update on the shipping status of the cover. I RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.

Since they did not respond, I emailed Customer Service the morning of 24 May asking them to cancel the order. I RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.

Nearly 4 weeks since the order was placed, I WAS STILL WITHOUT A COVER.

5 hours later I received a notification from UPS that a label had been created. I emailed customer service again and told them not to ship the replacement. I RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.

I received the replacement cover on 31 May. I returned it unopened on 1 June and they received it 7 June.

NOW THEY WANT A 20% RESTOCKING FEE.

THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY. STAY AWAY!

Order placed April 20th
Order placed April 20th. We are now May 1st and was told my order was canceled. After reaching out to Alexander, Louie and Jessica. Seal Skin Covers each told me my package was on the way. Was given a tracking number on April 28th. Reach out several time being promised that I would be receiving my order. Reached out again this morning and was told my order was going to be cancel because warehouse notified that my order was out of stock.. why wait 10+ days to notify a customer that their product is out of stock? Don't be telling your customers one thing that they will be receiving something and days later brush them off. By that I mean I feel like I was brushed off because of my reaching out daily. After so many times wouldn't have someone escalated the situation and find out if indeed the product was available? Seems like Jessica wanted to just not work with me and canceled the order. I was a paying customer, choose to do business with your company. Seems like I was pushed away to spend my money somewhere else. I too am I'm customer service. If one of my guys treated one of our customers the way I was treated the last 10 days. Makes me wonder how many more of your customers are treated that way as well.

TERRIBLE- Wrong color, poor fit, tore due to fit, insisted on restocking fee, - AVOID THIS COMPANY
Zero stars- Seal Skin is horrible. Here is my Seal Skin story...
I was heading out of town on a trip and need a new boat cover- Seal Skin had the gray cover I wanted in stock with roughly five day delivery so I ordered a gray cover to arrive 5-6 days prior to my trip. When delivered I looked at the box and knew it was blue. To be sure I opened the box and sure enough, it was blue. Seal Skin Covers have no phone number so I contacted "customer service" through their form system (chat was unavailable) hoping they would expedite delivery of the correct color but two days later received the response they would replace it or give me a small discount to keep it... no response to my request to expedite what was correctly ordered. I replied I didn't want the discount, just the correct cover by the day I departed. Two days later I received the response that I could return it with a 25% restocking fee. Once again I requested they send me the correctly ordered cover and I would pay for the replacement unit so long as they refunded the original when I returned it PLUS I needed the correct cover before I departed. Their final response was I could return it with a restocking fee and they couldn't guaranty anything. So I told them I would keep the cover and let you all know about my experience- shockingly they didn't respond. To top it off the cover fits very poorly and flaps when trailered causing the edges to fray and tear, which happened on my trip. Their provided straps don't work so I secured it with firm bungee straps. Under no circumstances buy a cover from this fly by night operation- it is the worst customer service I have experienced and their product doesn't justify the price.

Useless Customer Service Team
UPDATE: I waited three more days and never received a response to my ticket. I had to call again. Customer service said someone would respond in an hour. I can't get anyone on the phone to help me? All customer service does is take a message. I've been waiting a week to get a shipping label to return this product I can't use. That's two weeks total they've had my money and I have no cover I can use! I

I was sent the wrong cover. When I called on the phone I said told I had to sit and wait two days for someone to review. No one could help me on the phone or transfer me to someone who could help me. Why have a customer service team that can't initiate a return label? Poor, poor, poor beyond stupid Customer Service Department. Order from another company. I work hard for my money and my time is valuable. I'm the customer and do not tolerate being treated poorly. Give me my money back!

Also I ordered Ocean Blue and Seal Skin Covers Sent Royal blue. When I sent this attached picture, they said I needed to give them a sku number because looking at it isn't obvious enough. The box is at home. Really?

Does not fit and will not exchange
The cover that I was sent has three issues. First, it does not snugly fit my car. It is too loose in the front and easily comes off in the wind. Second, the design has a thick rope to secure the cover under the car with a small lock. The center position does little to keep the cover on, particularly since the front end does not fit. It flaps in the wind and bunches at the rear of the car during windy conditions. This causes the small lock to scratch and scrape the side of the door. Third, I have a convertible top. The cover leaves thick white fuzz all over the car top. The photo shows residual fuzz after multiple cleaning attempts. Very unsatisfied with the purchase.

I contacted sealskin with their trouble ticket. Their 100% guarantee has loop holes and Seal Skin Covers denied an exchange or refund. I am active duty military and was away from my mail for more than 30 days. When I returned I applied the cover, noticed the issues, and contacted the company.

I received a note from seal skin that it was outside the 30 day window and all sales are final. Be wary and try a local company to find a cover. I now have a fuzzy blanket collecting dust and trying to get the lint off my car topper.

Caveat Emptor! I won't buy from them ever again... recommend you don't either!
Bought a cover for my boat using the link provided by their online chat representative. When I tried to put it on my boat, it wasn't even close to fitting. Unfortunately, I was outside the 30 day refund window, so when I complained Seal Skin Covers said it was my problem. Over the course of multiple emails, they explained that their covers aren't custom fit; rather, they are "semi-fit." (Gotta check out the pics! First is the port side looking aft. 2nd is the starboard side looking forward. Cover doesn't even touch the gunwales! How's that for "semi-fit"?!) After I showed them a pic of their cover and how poorly it "semi-fit," they said, via email, they'd exchange it under their warranty program. I shipped the original back to them using a pre-paid label they provided. They received the original cover on December 14,2020. I also paid an additional $25.99 to have a new cover shipped to me. It's now more than a month later and I haven't heard a peep from them despite multiple attempts to resolve this. They have the original cover and the money I paid for it. They have the additional fee I paid for shipping a new cover. And I have nothing. Do yourself a favor and buy a custom fit cover from a respectable company.

Does not fit both vehicles I've ordered for.
I ordered two car covers last year November 2019 both car covers shipped late one longer than the other the first cover that arrived was for an 2018 Toyota Sequoia and the size of it was too short as it hung one feet up from the bottom of my suv which depletes the purpose of covering my vehicle. I asked for and exchange and returned the item back and that too was late even when my second cover hasn't arrived yet and this is in February of 2020. Replacement arrived and now the thing is too long front and back throwing the sure fit completely out the window, I email again for another replacement and I never hear from them again. I call to ask about a replacement and my second cover but but got was reassured by the sales person that my cover for my silverado was on its way and a replacement form for my sequoia was being established. Two weeks later I get the Silverado cover and it too didn't fit. By this time the covid 19 happened and all forms of communicating with this company has disappeared I ended up with two 200 dollars of car covers that do not fit my vehicles and can't sell them because it will not fit any other vehicles. I do not recommend this product and the customers service is horrible.

Don't waist your money!
I bought the seal skin 1200 for my boat last summer a year ago! I had just installed a new interior and wanted a good cover to protect it! A friend of mine had purchased a seal skin motorcycle cover which for him worked fine, and recommended that I try the seal skin boat cover, so I did. The box came simply marked made in China, which pissed me off from the start! The cover did fit the boat exceptionally well but a month later upon removing the cover my new interior was soaking wet, the carpet was peeling up from the edges and mold had already started on my seats! I contacted sealskin and Seal Skin Covers sent me a shipping label to return it, which I did. Upon getting the new cover it looked identical as the old. You could hold it up to the sun and see right through it. By now boating season was over so I put the cover on the boat and covered the cover with a tarp. We had a very rainy spring so it was summer before I got the boat out this year between early summer and Late Summer / about 3 months here, the dark blue cover has turned gray, the blue dye from the covering is all over my beautiful new white seats and won't come off everything is soaking wet and moldy. You would honestly be better off leaving it sit out uncovered at least the sun would have time to dry out the rain!. All the seal skin cover does is prevent your boat from drying out after all the water runs through. Their junk! With a 10 year 100% waterproof guarantee sealskin is screwing me by saying I've already use the warranty so they won't do anything to help. Including replacing the cover! What a bunch of crooks! And my friend that Talked me into buying the cover had to have his bike cover replaced in one year. So his 10 year warranty is no longer valid either
