I recently had new prescription progressive sunglass lenses installed into my favorite pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and could not be happier with the final product. My vision is crystal clear with those lenses, and the transition between my far and near vision is seamless. Just finished up a week of fishing, wearing Tajima progressive lenses that replaced progressive lenses from Costa. I wore them for hours every day, in the Southwest US and for me, my new lenses were as good as my original Costa's. I would have a better, objective opinion if I had not had my Tajima lenses put into my Costa frames. Still, can't go wrong with Tajima, in my opinion.

I was very disappointed when a lens on my new Maui Jim sunglasses cracked. I decided to replace them myself instead of sending them in for repair. Wow! I'm glad I did. The lenses from Tajima are definitely better than the Maui Jim lenses. Crystal clear and very nice looking. These are now my favorite lenses. I have Maui's, Costa's, Kaenon's, and Oakley's.... these Tajima lenses easily compare and I think are equal to or greater than top brands.

My favorite pair of sunglasses got a little beat up being in my car all the time. The lenses had gotten scratched up over the years and I tried all sorts of DIY tricks that I found on YouTube to get the scratches out without luck. I didn’t want to throw away the frames because they were my favorite pair so I got the lenses replaced. I love the new lenses better than the original ones which is CRAZY!

I am a few months post cataract surgery and have been in the process of relensing my prescription glasses, which I can no longer utilize, with Tajima lenses. The brown base tints I have received are easy on my old fly fisherman eyes and really enhance contrast. I expect the same from the new low light lenses that were just ordered. The products, the process and the service I have received from Tajima so far have been extremely commendable.

Tajima restored my favorite Maui Jim sunglasses to me by replacing the lenses with prescription lenses. The process was fast and the results were great. Communication was excellent and extra care was taken to be sure that the measurements for my progressive lenses were correct. The quality is superb and I couldn't be happier with Tajima.

Ordered replacement lenses for my Oakley Jupiter Squared sunglasses. Lenses arrived quickly and are equal to or better than the original prizm p lenses that I had replaced. Very glad that I have found Tajima and will definitely buy again. I have purchased cheaper replacement lenses in the past and have not been happy with the quality.

Jacob (co-founder) took the time to update me with emails on my order. I'm sure it's automatic, but I will tell you, it's nice that this company thinks of one on one communication with their customers ... very important!

In the past two months, I have purchased two replacement sets of lenses from Tajima: one for my prescription sunglasses and the other for my progressive lenses. My previous lenses were badly scratched and I was looking for lenses that would be more scratch-resistant. So far so good. The lenses are super sharp and seem durable.

Tajima. I found them while searching and comparing different companies on the internet. Sent in my Oakley frames for polarized blue mirrored lenses. Shipping was quick and free and the company owner kept me up to date on the progress. The lenses are just perfect. Read about the material they are made of and their toughness. This is my stop for lenses and customer service is excellent!

I contacted Tajima because I learned that I could have the damaged lenses of my Kaenon Rhino sunglasses replaced with genuine lens replacements. I immediately heard back from Jacob who answered numerous questions I had within a very short time. I received the shipping box, returned my glasses and received my sunglasses back within less than a week with the new lenses. I am so happy because I love my frame and the lenses are just like the original ones, which were high quality. If you have sunglasses, standard or prescription, that you like a lot, I highly recommend Tajima; you will experience excellent customer service and quality product and work.

I have had Tajima Direct replace two pair of lenses on two pairs of my Costa Ballast sunglasses. I have had to replace them before with Costa and each time they crack at the screw where it is attached to the nose piece. I have had the Tajima lens for longer than it took to start cracking the Costa lenses, with zero cracking. The lenses seem very clear as well.

I ordered a pair of prescription polarized sunglasses from Costas, they were cheaply made and overpriced. I found Tajima’s website and liked that I could use my own frames, which ensured a guaranteed proper fit of my frames. Loved this! I needed my sunglasses for river fly fishing. Some confusion during the ordering process. However, Jacob reached out to me with the information I needed. I will recommend this company to others and use again ! Thanks Jacob!

I was amazed at the personal customer service I received. Above my highest expectations! They reached out to me several times during the process to make sure I was kept informed and satisfied. The end result was highly satisfactory at a fair price. From my experience, I can highly recommend them and will use them again when the need presents itself.

I approached Tajima with a pair of broken vintage sunglasses with very distinct frames which I was unable to get fixed at a local optician nor via a similar online service called Fuse. I was very impressed by Tajima's customer service, who I interacted with several times. I would recommend Tajima in a heartbeat to anyone needing their sunglasses repaired and/or upgraded.

My exact frame model wasn’t able to have replacement lenses, but Jacob helped me find the same style with the compatible model for replacement lenses for a very good price. The replacement RX lenses are the same color as my original lenses. Much less expensive than buying name brand frames plus lenses at the eyewear store.

Having enjoyed a few days with my Tajima lenses in my Maui Jim, Frames, I realize these are the best glasses I've ever had, and I've worn glasses for over 60 years. In the ordering process, Jacob encouraged me to get individual measurements for each pupil distance, which I never before realized made such a difference. The prescription works perfectly throughout my extremes of eye movement. The polarization works without being noticeable and comfort is provided in all lighting conditions, including watching TV. These lenses are worth the cost and wait.

I ordered replacement lenses for my Costa Del Mar sunglasses, and the experience couldn’t have been better. Tajima communicated at every step in the process. I had my glasses back less than two weeks after my initial engagement, and the lens clarity and sharpness are as good as, if not better than, the originals. Very pleased and impressed!!

I've had 2 pairs of Maui Jim prescription sunglass lenses replaced with Tajima Direct. The quality is superb and were less than 1/2 the price of replacement Maui Jim lenses. There team was incredibly supportive to resolve an issue with the prescription being conventional vs digital. I highly recommend you take a look at what they have to offer.

Over all the experience was pleasant. I had originally purchased the lenses to install myself but they weren't an exact fit but this was not Tajima's fault. I had purchased some Maui Jim Stingray's back in 2008ish, and the newer stingray's have been slightly altered over the years. I contacted Tajima and they sent me a shipping label to have the lenses corrected and in week or so I had my glasses with new lenses back. So, it was a relatively painless operation but in hindsight I should have just sent the frames on the first go around. As for the lenses them selves, they are great. They are very clear and match with my frames as if they were original.
