They are ok but do not post bad ratings foe product so now I have to assume that in teality products are rated worse than what they display. Also it feels like the quality of products is declining and you should mot buy any products you have to put togeyher from them. The worknamship & quality is bad and they will not post your rating so you can not warn others.

I regret I ever used this company, never again , please support the small businesses and let Naspers feel the power of the many. I hate big business, they are bullies and do not give a damn,just give us your money!!

Firstly you wait for two weeks for an item then when you get it its totally the wrong colour .... Then the pathetic client service you receive from them .... ACCOUNT CLOSED!!!!!! BYE BYE

I ordered and my date was today they changed it to early delivery and they didn't but they made sure i received my package the following day in good condition and exactly what i ordered....i must say when your package doesn't arrive the the day promised frustration and anxiety kills just ruins my day..... i must say i have never had any problem b4 this was the 1st time and it was all sorted😀

I have ordered from takealot for years never had a issue and after my last purchase I never order from them again . First of all I order a product and what was advertised is completely different to what I ordered . Talk about false advertising.The customer service is shocking . Once I receive my credit and order something else this will be the last time I order from them again .

I brought a product from takealot and on receiving the product it was not at all like what was advertised on takealot. I ask for a replacement of the product, I received the same product once again. The service that Takealot provides these days are very poor. And until now I'm still waiting on them for a response.

I purchase from Takealot regularly. Recently I received a product that was broken but haphazardously repaired. The replacement was not much better. They refused to publish the review. Understand the reviews are not a true reflection of the product and Takealot actively skews those reviews - which is not too honest so can they be said to deal with their clients in good faith? you decide.

I ordered three of the same items. Takelot delivered the incorrect items as the items were incorrectly barcoded at their warehouse. After returning all three items, takelot only delivered 1 in return. It has been a mission to try and obtain the missing items which have not been delivered more than 2 months later. Takelot is now claiming that only 2 of the 3 items were returned but still have not refunded or delivered the remaining item for which they confirm receipt. Their returns processes are a mess and they have essentially stolen my money...

I placed an order on the 5th of February with takealot, on the 10th of February it was handed over to the courier... FAST AND FURIOUS.
Apparently numerous attempts was made to deliver and rescheduling was stated many time on the system app... On 26th February it stated delivered... WELL NO IT HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED! It is impossible to get help or answers... I have tried calls, emails, complain sites and so forth. Today I get an email to review my product? WHAT PRODUCT??? I have to this day not received any answers nor receive my package???

Dishonest practices, they "reject" valid reviews and refer you to guidelines when everything is according to their guidelines - hence - the results are skewed in favour of many poor products.

Ive always bought from take alot and everything was always ok ..but the last purchase was a remote and the one i received was not the one as advertised ...the whole return thing this is a mess and whats even worse for me is that my review was declined ..hows that for not being transparent takealot ?

I brought a phone for repairs, which I bought four months ago. It was declined for repairs but yet they had the utmost audacity to remove my memory card which I have been enquiring about for the past two weeks and yet again no was in avail for help.
I personally wouldn't advice anyone to buy any gadgets or anything electronic from them, because their return policy and service REALLY SUCKS. The worst of its kind because you can't exactly go to the offices and ask for assistance.
They don't even deserve a star rating, there should be a negative star....

I don't use takealot that often. I've dealt with other online purchases from different couriers. I scheduled a delivery for Saturday and paid the special courier fee on Thursday. The app does not work and is not accurate at all. The app stated that my delivery was rescheduled. I then made contact with Takealot at 9am and was promised delivery today. I kept looking at the app waiting for arrival to see a message that the courier has to reschedule because the recipient was unavailable. But no history of a phone call was made to me, so how does one know the recipient was unavailable if you haven't bothered to contact them? I've made about 10 calls this morning keep getting promised that I'll get a return call and that they are waiting for the branch to contact them and give an answer. I even begged and offered to fetch my parcel myself because I'd been waiting the whole day for this delivery in fear That I'd miss the parcel. Herendous service from Takealot, and the no care attitude in customer service is vital in keeping your business going. I will never recommend takealot to anyone, high disspointed

Bad expierience, we waited long for our order to arrive and then when it did arrive, I was given one of the heavy parcels to carry up(never heard of having to help carry stuff up to the apartment.) The delivery guy could see I had keys and my phone in hand but he still gave it to me it resulted in my phone falling and breaking, a R20 000 phone that I have to fix all because he did not want to take another trip downstairs. So basically I helped them with their job and lost my phone as a result. Also the packages looked like it had been opened pria to delivery, the table was damaged when opened.
