Bad customer care services
Very bad customer care. Talabat canceled my order because they do not have driver after withdrawing the from my card! The restaurant can't do anything for me and Talabat has no number, no one answer the emails, no one helps on live chat. Very very very bad customer service. One month passed and still no one answer my emails and no refund until now, although it's written on their website the refund takes 7 work days!

Horrible service and if only i could rate a -0
Dont order or bother speaking to the idiots to complain! Customer service is zero! Stupid robots on the phone memorizing lines to tell you after Talabat steal your money! And the manager is a different story! He acknowledged the error in their messed up website and further more he started laughing! Bad for them i work with the press and if i dont get my money back in the 5 working days! Oh well lets just say their stupid service is gonna get the review it deserves :) simple lesson on ethics!

Worst Customer Service Everrrr
Hello People, please read my experience with online customer service, I even send this conversation to talabat as a complain but no respond. Shortly after below conversation, I ordered same meal from same restaurant but with different online ordering network, my meal was delivered within 30 minutes. Please read below.

When you have your day ruined by an app
Today was the last straw with talabat, I'll uninstall it for good. When you are working and you rely on talabat to deliver food to the office at a reasonable time (I would be okay with up to 2 hours when it comes to talabat) but after 3 hours of waiting, you decide to do the logical thing and contact the customer care which somehow manages to make the problem seem x100 times worse because a-it's so frustrating chatting with them cuz there's no customer care number, b- long waits, c-unsympathetic and uninterested and simply lies and seems to be trying to get it over with, d- so far with all the issues (so many) i had with the delivery Talabat have never offered me a satisfying solution to my problem, the best you can get is a refund (after 2 days) or an apology and empty words. Day at work actually ruined with no lunch and headache accentuated, so today after contacting them after the 3 hour delay I was informed that the restaurant canceled the order based on MY request and all they offered me was a refund, in a most unsympathetic way. If I didnt contact them there was now way for me to know the order was canceled, it was showing delivered on my app
Last time using talabat.

Poor Customer Service
Recently Talabat have this promotion for Talabat Dine. Basically it's just a pop up message and when you click YES you will automatically subscribe for free trial. There is no warning for the trial period nor email nor message and they will deduct you QAR99 after the trial ends. When you contact support services they will give you a time frame that they will certainly NOT DO. They will only say apologies for the inconvenience and will follow up but again they will never do. MAHA one of the staff is trying to play with me. I'm asking for a refund regarding this talabat dine and staff will answer is the food cold or not or something irrelevant on my case. As of writing the issue is still pending and no official email from them. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

Just all around awful in every possible way
We like to refer to our Thursday nights as "Talabat Night". We have been ordering through the Talabat platform since it was established years ago. With years of service, you would think that a company that has been in operation for as long as Talabat has, would learn from its mistakes and make an effort to improve.

Sadly, this is not the case and we have fallen victim to mishap after mishap with this sorry excuse of a company. The repeated mistakes are sometimes blunders that can be excused but the recurring incompetence demonstrated by Talabat Go and the Talabat customer service team as a whole is an issue that needs to be addressed.

The restaurant should be held liable when an error is committed on their part. However, as soon as that order is out the door and in the hands of a Talabat Go driver, the responsibility of getting that order delivered on time and in a presentable/edible state rests with the driver.

My order arrived tonight almost 2 hours after placing it through the Talabat platform. I followed up continuously with several different customer service representatives and was fed excuse after excuse as to why the order was late from "there's a lot of traffic" to "the driver is lost" to "the driver is just outside!".

I should not have been surprised when the driver finally did arrive almost 2 hours later and handed me an open, unstapled, damp bag with its contents strewn throughout. Needless to say, the food was cold.

The worst part, however, was spotting the delivery man slip his hand into the already open bag of food and help himself to some of my fries as he made his way down the corridor to my door. I handed the disheveled bag back to the driver and thanked him for coming out. I hope he enjoyed my dinner.

At this point, I got right back on the phone to Talabat yet again to explain to probably the sixth customer service agent I had spoken to today that my order was delivered late, was not packaged properly, was cold and was being eaten by my driver!

Talabat customer service agents are quick to throw out lines like "I am so sorry" or "I understand", but Talabat are just useless words that carry little substance if nothing is done to rectify these errors that occur almost every single time I order food through their platform.

The best part was when I got a call from a Talabat agent only minutes after filing a complaint with a previous agent, to let me know that my order that I placed over 2 hours ago is now on its way!

Please do yourself a favor and order directly from the restaurant rather than putting yourself through the misery of having Talabat coordinate your order. By the time your food arrives (should you be fortunate enough to receive your order in full and not a half eaten moist bag of food), you will have already lost your appetite from having to follow up and deal with incompetent customer service agents. Following my horrible experience, I ask that you please do not accept any food delivered by Talabat Go unless it is properly packaged and sealed. Otherwise, prying hands may just treat themselves to your bag of food as if it were an invite to an open buffet

The worst of the worst! Dont bother!
We placed an order through Talabat this evening. 1.5 hours later, it had not arrived. We called the hotline 10 times over the next hour and no one answered, or Talabat pick up and close before we speak. We then called the restaurant and were told they had not received any orders from Talabat and to call directly next time, as the "service" is very unreliable and causes the restaurants problems too. Never again! (Abu Dhabi based)

No stars to give this fraud company
Ask yourself this. Why is there only good feedback on their app and social media pages? Because Talabat delete it. And block you so you can't post it again. They're never on time and always blame the restaurants for their delays. I purposely placed an order and contacted the restaurant twice after placing to check. 1st after 8 minutes and they said food was ready. And again after another 10 minutes and they told me driver just walked in. When I called the driver and told him your tracker says 35 minutes and it's already 18 passed. You have 17 minutes to reach. He messages me 30 minutes later asking for location. Told him I don't want the order, and he said he had to wait 25 minutes for the restaurant to complete order. And talabat wouldn't consider my complaint and ignored me. Until I started posting comments on their social media. Pure garbage. Screenshots showing my comment not being accepted

Horrible Experience
I am a regular customer of Talabat the last one year their service has been good. But the last two consecutive deliveries have been a horrible experience. I order food at 8.09 pm it is now 9.31 pm and yet to receive my order and I am informed that it will take 20 more minutes to get my food. Most horrible experience. Also to blame is Al Baghal restaurant who were excruciatingly slow on the delivery. While ordering the app said 39 mins but actually it has taken 1 hr and 40 mins. I would give -2 stars if it was possible.

The WORST APP EVER! I'm very disappointed in this app and the customer service
I don't recommend anyone to ever use this app
A huge waste of time and money as well

This chat feature in their app is useless and all the staff are under qualified and very rude
Also there is absolutely no connection between the drivers and the restaurants
It's far better to choose calling the restaurant directly than to choose this app

Rude and crazy thief delivery drivers from Talabat
Talabat dont even deserve one, I ordered today and there was a driver from talabat who should deliver the food, he came with no bill and took 10% more than the exact amount plus I found that 1 item is missing after complaining and calling many time the very very pooor call center with lazy and poor supervisor they promised he will come and apologize and return the amount he was taking by force as tips and the cost of the missing amount, and guess what notttthing happened he never showed up, can u all believe it they couldnt control their driver from stealing from people and his bad attitude and they completely did nothing.
I really hope that the CEO Abdulhamid Al Omar know that is poor unprofessional stuff no with customers and try to solve it before its too late, I will for sure remove any payment credit card details before closing the account as its not safe at all to deal with those people

Reviews of restaurants are completely one-sided
The skewed rating system used by the app results in inaccurate and biased ratings. Poor ratings are assigned a "Good" ranking because this the lowest allowable rating available to the customer. It is often laughable to read a rating ranked "Good" which is then accompanied by an extremely scathing review of said"Good" restaurant by a customer narrating their horrible experience. This is the first establishment I have ever encountered that disguises authentic reviews with a deceitful rating and ranking system. "Good" should not be synonymous with "awful". Orders are always late. Restaurants blame the drivers. Drivers blame the restaurants and the customer's order is left hanging in the balance. Food arrives cold. Customer complains. Complaint team expresses regret over the customer's experience without offering any tangible resolution - rinse, repeat

Bad Service - Talabat - The company policy itself not the rider!
Good Evening.

I want the top management of Talabat to check on my complaint.

I placed an order for Small chicken bbq pizza and cheesecake and the bill came to AED 30.40. Just seconds after I made the order, I got a call from a Broccoli restaurant where I placed the order through Talabat and the person told me that cheese cake would not be available as it is EID so Talabat are not preparing it today. I said okay that's fine just only deliver the pizza and I asked him how much would it be then as there will be a change of cost. He told me it would be AED 20.20. So I agreed and 20- 30 mins later, the rider from Talabat - Basant came with the order and gave me the bill of AED 30.40.

I said this is not the bill as i got a call from Broccoli as there is no cheesecake so the bill has changed. Basant informed me that he was not informed and the company/broccoli has not modified the bill. He came around 3pm and I got angry as the change was not reflected and I was not ready to pay. He told me he cannot drop the order, otherwise it will be deducted from his salary if I pay him AED 20 instead of AED 30.

He also mentioned this has happened many times before with Talabat and it was deducted from him and that the company never listens to the employees and keeps saying the same thing to take the money from them. I felt bad for Basant as it is definitely not his fault and company politics will definitely only blame him. This is a kind request plus complaint to Talabat to rectify your system and not penalize your rider's for your stupidity or politics. If you want to play crap you deduct it from your salary or the company budget and not from the poor rider's salary.

Be decent enough to accept your mistake and not make the customer wait for 1 hour at the door waiting for you to update your crap system. Such a cheap company, seriously. I want the manager to call me and demand compensation and the assurity that Basant the rider will not be penalised!

Awaiting a response ASAP.

Complete let down
Thursday night pizza order which was supposed to be 1 hour got to around 2 hours until I had to call to check up where it was. Turns out no one had seen my order. If I still wanted the pizza then I'd have to wait another 45 mins. Said I'll only have it if I don't pay. Nope. Manager says she can give a 15% discount. Who waits 3 hours for a pizza. Talabat does nothing. Claps for incompetence.

Atrocious customer service - Never again
I sent the following via the Talabat feedback page. I ordered from a restaurant and this was the result. Based in Doha.

'I ordered a delivery at 3:57pm and by 6:10pm it had still not arrived. I contacted one of your Live Chat Agents called Ram for his help and he provided me with horrendous customer service. Apparently, it was not the restaurant's fault that Talabat had not knocked on my door or rang my bell to deliver my food.
He seemed to think that I would automatically know that the restaurant would ring me, although with my previous experience this is not the case.
I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service provided. It was and is atrocious.
I think that A LOT of customer service training is needed for your Live Chat Agents if they are all similar to Ram.
I am a Live Chat Agent for Vodafone UK with a 98% success rate. The way I was spoken to via chat was unbelievably bad and would be grounds for dismissal if I were to ever to treat a customer the way I have been.

I would strongly advise you to provided some customer service and satisfaction training ASAP for your Live Chat Agents as you will lose business VERY fast if this continues.'

They don't care about customer complaints
Talabat does not have a number to call for complaints especially to do with cancelled orders yet Talabat have hotline to communicate with restaurants. Basically what you are saying is customers don't matter and if you pay online and your order is cancelled then you have to starve for days before they refund which is horrible. Just switch it to cash only because your service is useless.Im sure if you customers don't follow up that cash will not be refunded

Terrible service!
I have placed an order for Papa Murthy Pozza thru talabat.com and had the Worst service i ever had!

Talabat cancelled our order fiest time saying some sorr of item is not available! ( what item? We ordered pizza!) Egyptian guy feom customee "care" couldn't explain and asked us to place the order again.
Which we did.
And waited another hour.

After an hour i startes tracking the order ans saw that it was cancelled again!
NEVER use them, people who work there are useless!
Noone even wanted to take responsibility for it and kept on talking using "phone skripts"

Poor Talabat services
I ve placed an order then 40min later revived text order will be cancelled I called Talabat Talabat say it restaurent who cancelled as driver called you but no answer however I didn't receive any call from anyone and why would it be cancelled without my permission! I ve called directly the restaurent this time they stated that Talabat canceled your order and they sent us a message!
When I called Talabat for solution they say it not us we can only refund so I was juggling in the middle within this poor service and would they canceled order after long period of time of waiting! And why you can't reorder it not my mistake it yours! The only solution is refund and do it all again that very unprofessional!

Pathetic service of Talabat
I had very bad experience today with Talabt, I placed an order and made a payment but after waiting of 45 minutes approx Talabat cancelled my order and mentioned the reason items are not available. Whereas i requested them to deliver from other branche of the same restaurant but Talabat denied. Even i mentioned you shouldn't accept the order without restaurants confirmation but they didn't accept it. I would highly recommend not to order from Talabat at all.

Waiting for nothing!
We place an order around 12:30 in papa johns, as per talabat my order is successfully sent as I opened the " track my order" and it says Talabat will deliver my order after 10mins we wait for so long, how many time we tried to track our order but no one knocks our door noor call in to my phone until all restaurants is already closed. How a lovely evening I am really craving for pizza and I am so hungry, it really ruins my night thank you so much guys.
