Do not buy Blueberry Bushes
I requested 2 patio blueberry bushes in late Feb. 2021. I received 2 sticks in early March that said it was dormant one did not have visible roots! I planted after last snow and it's still 2 sticks sticking out the ground. I call LVMM cause no one answer the phone so I sent an email of what I received. I received response email the following day saying basically we don't stand behind what we sell and we will not send a replacement plant or return your money. The email further said I can come to TN for an in store credit! I live in TX. Buyers be aware this is not the place to shop for quality plants. Good for throwing away money only!

Ferns are my favorite
I ordered ferns - ostrich and maiden hair. Bare roots arrived alive and the ostrich fern had a single frond. Planted the roots in peat pots this time so I could keep track of growth until the ferns were well established in soil. Ostrich fern frond immediately died off but new fronds were appearing. Maiden hair has yet to show green above soil but still hoping it will sprout before end of summer.
Customer service was responsive to inquiry about the status of my order.

My Wife Loved Her Christmas Surprise!
Last Fall my Wife was watching one of the home improvement shows on TV and saw "these amazing Red Twig Dogwood Shrubs." She said the leafless red branches look wonderful against the winter snow and she would love to get one some day. I decided right then to surprise her for Christmas and, after some research, purchased four plants online from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery. Their information about the shrubs was thorough and the prices were better than any other place online. Plus, living in eastern Tennessee, I was happy to support a local business. The whole experience was painless and wonderful. The bare root plants arrived on time, very well packaged, with clear instructions for planting and care. Because the bare root plants needed to go into the ground quickly, my Wife got to open one of her Christmas presents early. She was thrilled! The plants are in the ground and we can't wait until Spring when Tennessee Wholesale Nursery leaf out and then bloom. We're especially looking forward to next Winter to see the striking red twigs against some snow. I'm already picking out more plants to order from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery for Spring and Summer! Thanks Tennessee Wholesale Nursery for helping me with my Wife's Christmas Surprise!

No Integrity
I purchased blueberry plants that I received in a dormant state as was to be expected, after planting not a single plant showed any sign of life ( the blueberry plants that I planted at the same time in the same way from another company where growing and coming out of dormancy successfully) I contacted
Tennessee Wholesale Nursery and was told I had to let them know within 24 hours of receiving the plants for the warranty to be any good. I explained that I did and was told the plants where fine and to keep an eye on them. Bottom line Tennessee Wholesale Nursery do not stand behind their product and they are running a scam operation. One star because I had to choose something, it should be a 0

Terrible plants
I ordered many plants from tnnursery last year, which means I have given it a year before writing this review as I wanted to be fair. However this is the worst nursery I have ordered from by far and I will never again do business with them. Over 50 percent of the bare-root plants I ordered never grew, and one sizable order ended up being a completely different plant than I had even ordered. I am an experienced gardener, and have ordered bare-root plants from other nurseries with wonderful results. Tnnursery in my opinion is a dishonest company and doing business with them is means taking a risk.

Not the quality advertised.
Bought three 3_4 foot trees last Fall. Contacted them on delivery when received 3 dead looking sticks. Customer service indicated Tennessee Wholesale Nursery would be just fine and to go ahead and plant them. Not surprisingly there was no sign of life in April. Sent photos and got a response that photos were not high enough quality and just wait and carry out a scratch test. Now at the beginning of August no leaves no sign of growth. Not wasting time trying to get any response from Customer Service. Clearly not what they advertise. Save your money and try somewhere that you can actually see what they are selling.

Bare root beauties
Very hardy plants with an easy to use website. I am very happy with the condition of the plants and ecstatic to find a reasonable priced line of products. I am still waiting to see the fruition of my endeavors but everything appears to be going as planned with trees that show a reserved vitality and have evidenced an ability to stand against the elements so far.

Bought daylilies and blackberries and mulberry trees
I did two orders from them, orange daylilies and blackberries in the first and two mulberry trees in the second about a year later.

Most of the daylily bulbs have come up and the blackberries seem okay. The mulberry trees haven't done much yet but it's winter and they're dormant.

Tennessee Wholesale Nursery emailed back when I asked about shipping the blackberries (I ordered before they were in season) so they do communicate. Not sure what these other reviews are going on about.

Milkweed order
I placed an order online for five live milkweed plants. I called the next morning to find out the shipping timeframe. Tennessee Wholesale Nursery told me 10 business days I said that is too long I need to cancel my order. I sent another request that I want to cancel my order. Six days later I receive twigs in a bag. That is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. How insulting that you send me roots not live plants, roots After I said I wanted to cancel my order. Never order from them they do what they want

Excellent Customer Service and Great Plants!
Tennessee Wholesale Nursery has excellent customer service, and the best selection of high quality plants for my growing area. We have always had a great experience ordering our plants from them. We have wildflower and native plant butterfly/hummingbird gardens in our yard and love adding to them with plants from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery!

Paw Paw Tree gift!
My younger Sister gifted us a bareroot Paw Paw tree from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery, as my husband and I had recently bought a home. When it arrived, I quickly realized that due to squirrels and rabbits in the area, I would need to place a tree trunk guard on it, to give it a chance to grow. The Paw Paw sat for a week before I found tree guards in our local area to purchase. We immediately planted the Paw Paw, following directions given. It appears to have taken root, since the leaves stayed green and didn't fall off until the expected time in the Fall. I'm waiting for Spring to see how it does... anticipation!

Tennessee Wholesale Plant Mortuary - It's all dead, Jim!
PLEASE NOTE THAT NONE OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FROM VERIFIED PURCHASERS!

Among verified purchases Tennessee Wholesale Nursery have all 1 star reviews - because that's the lowest number. If there was a zero star option they'd have zero.

I've ordered 7 bushes, 3 vines, and gotten a "free" set of two flowers. While I'll admit I'm not a master gardener, I've certainly grown more than my share of things. I've tried planting according to the directions, and then ignoring the directions and planting based on my own knowledge. Even planted in a controlled greenhouse environment. Nothing they've ever shipped me has been live.

Worse, when you contact "customer service" they ask you to jump through hoops, then when you do they have more hoops, then more hoops - I eventually said they could replace my order or I'd file a chargeback with my bank. FINALLY they made good on their warranty. And sent me more pre-killed stuff.

Save your time and spend a little more elsewhere. Fast growing trees dot com was FANTASTIC - yes, more expensive, but everything arrives ready to grow, and if there is a problem they just replace it, rather than trying to get you to give up because of all the hoops.

AVOID. Tennessee Wholesale Plant Mortuary is a better name.

DONT BUY PINES
I purchased 4 short leaf pines which took 8 days to ship from Middle TN to West TN. Those lived 3 days. I emailed them about a warranty which Tennessee Wholesale Nursery gave me store credit (cash back would have been better) so I bought 2 yellow pines and 2 short leaf pines which took 11 days to ship from Middle TN to West TN, those arrived dead and there was nothing they could do and the warranty was only good on the first trees so now I have 8 dead pines. They make expensive kindling for a burn pile.

Horrible Nursery!
The worst Nursery I have ever worked with!

Be aware when buying more than 100 plants their "Warranty" rules are only playing in their hands!

- Really unprofessional Customer Service
- Tennessee Wholesale Nursery trick you when buying more then 100 plants there is no warranty
At all!
- This is the biggest rip-off I have ever seen!

I just lost 500$!

I'm the most relaxed person on earth but making business with them is horrible!

I've ordered 290 beech seedlings in March... the box arrived, a bit damaged but the seedling were fine. I was able to put them in to the ground an hour later so they were safe and ready to grow. I've made some pics for the nursery in the beginning from the box also the seedlings when they first arrived just to let them see how they looked like.
I was wondering about 4 weeks later why there was no growth to see at all but hey maybe we still had a couple of cooler days so it takes a while. Two weeks ago I contacted them to give them an update that all of the seedlings are actually dead so brown in the inside which was and is a pity because I planted these seedlings before in another backyard without any issues.
I have to say their customer service is a mess! They only send me the warranty link... here we are... however I made all the "tests" stated in the warranty and this week I went back and told them there is not one seedling who survived!
I was very polite and explained in detail in my email also was sending pics as proof how the seedlings look like. Well they didn't care and I got the warranty link again and promised in writing I will receive a 100% in-store credit when I send some of the seedlings back. Well no problem at all I just ask for a written confirmation on this to make sure everything will be smoothly withing the return process.
Then another person, they never tell you a name, wrote that was a mistake I can send some of the dead seedling back and will receive a 60% discount for my next purchase! What the hell!

The lady, supposedly the Manager, was not really helpful and actually took a deep breath when I ask her to show me online their T&Cs... she then only said sorry for the wrong information about the 100% credit that does't apply for orders more than 100 plants! So now I can order them again and get 60% discount... which nobody in this world will do!

Great company with a very reliable owner
The owner goes above and beyond in helping her staff and customers. Although she has had to deal with negligent employees, who have set out to ruin her business. She remained trust worthy, honest and focus on keeping her business afloat. She has taken great steps in correcting all the negative impact that has given her bad reviews. She has help maintain a great customer relationship with me. And have provided the full understanding of her products. The service has been straightforward and the process has been easy.

Excellent Customer Service!
I ordered two Eucalyptus trees (Maggie & Funky Monkey). Tennessee Wholesale Nursery had them packaged and shipped within a couple of days. Maggie arrived healthy and happy the very next day! UPS screwed up delivery of the Funky Monkey, which ended up killing the poor little tree. Tennessee Wholesale Nursery apologized for UPS's mistake and credited me the entire sum I spent for the Funky Monkey! Tennessee Wholesale Nursery were awesome to deal with! Word of advice: Do not rely on UPS to ship live or fragile items. Every time I receive a live or fragile delivery from UPS, it is mishandled severly.

My Goldenrod plant is beautiful
At first I got tense for my first goldenrod was dead for I was instructed to plant it immediately but I did not follow TN nursery's instructions. So when I got my second Goldenrod thru a credit, i planted it immediately and 6 months after. I am a proud owner of a healthy and beautiful cascading golden flowers. Big thank you, TN Nursery.

Beware of ordering ferns
I ordered 200 ferns for a spring planting. Half of these were the Bracken Fern variety which ships as a bare root. In my case it looked like a small 2-3 inch brown stick. Planting these was my first experience and I wasn't sure what Tennessee Wholesale Nursery should/shouldn't look like. However many of them were crumbling and seemed like they were rotted. Since the bulk of them appeared that way I supposed that was normal.

I planted all in a well drained, moist, shaded area along with the 100 other ferns I ordered. The planting area has many varieties of moss and native ferns growing.

I gave all the ferns a couple of months to show. Not one Bracken ferns sprouted. About 85 of the other ferns sprouted at various intervals.

When I contacted Tennessee Wholesale Nursery they basically replied tough luck. Your claim is beyond 30 days.

So beware. Especially if you're spending a few hundred dollars on ferns.

75 Trees, All dead!
I had 75 cedars delivered for fall 2020, I planted properly, staked, watered, etc. In a matter of days Tennessee Wholesale Nursery were all turning brown and all 75 died. I sent pics early when they were dying, I emailed them back in spring and they replied they would all have to be returned for store credit. I had my wife take them for shipping they said I would be cheaper to drive them back than ship them, not possible. Very disappointed and am out several hundred dollars. I should have read all the reviews first so I could have saved my $585.00!

DO NOT PURCHASE -- dead plants, will not honor refund policy
I purchased $160 of creeping phlox which arrived dead. I notified them, and Tennessee Wholesale Nursery said it only looked dead and to plant anyway. They said they would issue a refund if it did not come back. It did not. I sent pictures. I sent many emails. I was continually told a refund was coming, and then they stopped answering. There's no way to get a refund from your credit card company once a year has gone by. Bogus promises, terrible customer service, dead plants.
