The chef and his staff are staunch advocates of the farm-to-table concept, sourcing produce, meats, poultry and dairy products almost exclusively from Georgia organic farms.
Used the app for call ahead seating, app said table was ready for us. When we went to podium, Hostess said there were no tables, Texas Roadhouse needed to be cleaned. Ignored us. Waited a half hour for clean table. When we were finally seated, near the restroom, there was a puddle of water on the seat. So had to dine with wet pants the whole night. First server "Chloe" was not friendly. We politely asked to be moved away from the restroom to another table so that we wouldn't have to look at drunk men pulling up their pants while trying to eat. Moved to another table and rowdy kids were jumping on the seats and falling on us. Everyone is crammed into this location, there is no social distancing, no Covid-safety, little kids unvaxxed crawling all over, hanging upside down on tables, screaming, playing very loud games on phones. I know they market as "child friendly" but this was unreasonable.
The table turned and another party piled in yelling, talking loudly on their phones and binge drinking shots with their margaritas. They tried to start a fight with us when we asked them to turn their speaker phone volume down. When they started whining about it to our server "Sunshine" she spent the rest of the evening catering to them when they should have been bounced. We were rudely rushed into to go boxes and dessert when we were only half finished with our meal. This location needs better crowd control, diner spacing and alcohol control. If they can't provide a nice experience for everyone, they should dial back capacity. We had a good visit earlier in the summer, but the place has gone downhill. Won't be back. Their fundraiser PR is just fluff/hype.
My family and I went to eat at this Texas road house restaurant in Baytown Texas, so we got our bread and drinks on a good time frame, then we ordered our food but our server never came by to ask if we want something ealse or drinks Refills witch we did need drinks and we when we saw her we ask her that we need drinks she left and never came back with our drinks plus she was kind or rude we finished our food and still no drinks very bad service with this server her name is Hannah and our table # was 526/1
She needs to be retrained on her job and if she is with bad attitude just stay home
After hiking 10 miles today we decided to get curbside to go at the new Texas Roadhouse. We ordered 3 steak dinners with baked potatoes and green beans. Starving and exhausted we got home to find the steaks were not cooked or unpackaged but the rest of the food was cooked. When we called to ask why we had raw steaks we were informed we ordered the RTG steaks curbside. Umm yes, we wanted the ready to go curbside meals. Well it means Ready to grill. So you cook it yourself.
So tell me why would you go to a restaurant to buy raw food to cook at home? Texas Roadhouse have a place like that and it's called Publix. And why would they cook all the sides and not the steak? Guess it works if you have a pet tiger?
