Wonderful
I was expecting the food here to follow in the old Southern tradition but was pleased to find the menus trending in a contemporary direction with emphasis on lean, fresh and organic fare -- while still keeping with Low Country/Southern convention. My favorite dish at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant, in fact, was shrimp and grits topped with a tasty tasso sauce and loaded with locally netted Georgia white shrimp, which are positively unmatched for flavor.
The chef and his staff are staunch advocates of the farm-to-table concept, sourcing produce, meats, poultry and dairy products almost exclusively from Georgia organic farms.

Ruined Birthday Dinner
I lov texas road house and my husband decided to take me for a nice birthdays dinner. The wait was long but due to pandemic understandable, Texas Roadhouse sat us down after 40 min waiting in parking lot to get a table. 15 min after sitting down we they took our drink order. 20 min later took our food order. Waitress never came back to refill our drinks nor check on us. about 45 later she comes to state they lost our order or got deleted and food was never cooked. The manager is rude no apology, just we can cook your order now. After being there for 3 hours no thank you, we had plans for the evening and was not going to wait another 30 min for food. Worst experience ever and I want to thank you Texas Roadhouse for ruining my birthday dinner.

Herded in like cattle, dirty, crowded, rude place
Yes, it was a busy night, but were trying to use up our gift card and instead had an unreasonably horrible experience at the Ft. Wright KY Texas Road House. The cloth napkins smelled. There was butter smeared on the pepper shaker. The restaurant was dirty, crowded, the hostesses and the customers were rude. Food tasted ok, but was just thrown on the plate like takeout.

Used the app for call ahead seating, app said table was ready for us. When we went to podium, Hostess said there were no tables, Texas Roadhouse needed to be cleaned. Ignored us. Waited a half hour for clean table. When we were finally seated, near the restroom, there was a puddle of water on the seat. So had to dine with wet pants the whole night. First server "Chloe" was not friendly. We politely asked to be moved away from the restroom to another table so that we wouldn't have to look at drunk men pulling up their pants while trying to eat. Moved to another table and rowdy kids were jumping on the seats and falling on us. Everyone is crammed into this location, there is no social distancing, no Covid-safety, little kids unvaxxed crawling all over, hanging upside down on tables, screaming, playing very loud games on phones. I know they market as "child friendly" but this was unreasonable.

The table turned and another party piled in yelling, talking loudly on their phones and binge drinking shots with their margaritas. They tried to start a fight with us when we asked them to turn their speaker phone volume down. When they started whining about it to our server "Sunshine" she spent the rest of the evening catering to them when they should have been bounced. We were rudely rushed into to go boxes and dessert when we were only half finished with our meal. This location needs better crowd control, diner spacing and alcohol control. If they can't provide a nice experience for everyone, they should dial back capacity. We had a good visit earlier in the summer, but the place has gone downhill. Won't be back. Their fundraiser PR is just fluff/hype.

Three of last five meals at Tuscaloosa Alabama Texas Roadhouse have been horrible!
Focus on August 17,2021 meal. Arrived at 6:15, party of five. When our server came to our table to take our drink order, she had no clue about beverages, from ice tea to beer. While we waited on our drinks, she took our order. Which was another fiasco. We all ordered our steaks and told our server our steak cooking preference it was one again evident she was clueless about the menu and the difference regarding how steaks should be cooked. Three of our party ordered medium rare steaks, one was ordered medium and I ordered filet to be cooked well done. When the meal arrived, the porterhouse steak that was ordered medium rare was very well done. My filet, ordered well done, had barely been heated on the grill. The porterhouse cooked well done instead of medium rate, was returned for a new steak to be cooked medium rare. I sent my steak back to be made right, to be put back on grill to be cooked to well done. The porterhouse that was sent back for a new one came cooked a proper medium rare. My filet I returned to be cooked to well done came back to me burnt to a crisp on the outside and still rare when I cut into it. I talked to manager and he couldn't understand why I was upset about how my steak had been returned to me. At this point we paid our bill and left. This made the third of the last five meals we have eaten there that have been horrible. Don't know if we will ever go back to the Tuscaloosa Texas Roadhouse!

Nate the manager in the Laplata branch and owner Howard are not customer friendly
To do a quick statement. Texas Road House puts our promotions and coupons that Lapata branch harasses customers if Texas Roadhouse try to use the promotions/coupons put out by the corporate office. We always have problems every time we go to the Laplata Texas Road house. They always harass us. Texas road house puts out coupons and specials but the manager in Laplata, Nate does not like customers using them. The very first time when we went there we had a gift card that a friend gave us for our anniversary. We also had a coupon for a free side dish. When we went to use it the manager told us you can't use a gift card with a coupon. Of course, that is crazy because a gift card isn't a coupon it is like money that you pay for that can only be used for that place. So after 10 minutes of arguing with him he said he would "let" us use the coupon this one time with the gift card, never again. So years passed before we would use our money there again. Thinking they most have gotten better by now with customers and are more customer friendly. But boy were we wrong. The very next visit years after this problem I went there with a friend. We both had a child. So two paying adults with two children that we each have a coupon for a free child's meal. Well this same bad manager there tells us that only one coupon can be used per table. We informed him we had two separate bills and were paying separately. He still argued with us even though we explained it was even two separate house holds and so on. And the coupon did not say per table. So we told him if we had of knew they would harass us about using the free child's coupon with a paying adult we would have seat at separate tables. It seems ridiculous to have to go to such means. Most restaurants will allow two children free with one paying adult with out a coupon. But once again the coupon just said with a paying adult did not say one per table. So we left and many years passed before we would step foot in there again thinking their treatment of customers may have gotten better. So we just recently seen for the holidays they had a gift card special. You buy a gift cards for $30 and you get a card for $5. So I bought the gift cards for my kids and friends. Also on the advertisement it said if you spend $100 in gift cards you get a free bucket which had some steak seasoning in it. So I bought 7 gift cards at $30 each costing $210. The waitress gave me my 7 gift cards I paid for and the 7 $5 cards. After we ate, as we were leaving we seen that the sign said if you buy $100 in gift cards you get a bucket with the seasoning in it. So I showed that waitress my receipt and she gave me a bucket. When I got out in the car I realized I spent $200 so we should get two buckets according to the sign. So my 20 year old son went back in. The waitress told him to go ahead and get it. As he was getting it that nasty manager came up and said something about already gave us a deal. We had no idea what he was talking about so we just left the next day my husband went in to talk to him about it and he was just as nasty with him. So a few weeks passed and we went in with our kids and friends to use the gift cards we had given them. There were 4 adults and two kids. I showed the waitress the $5 cards as it read on the back you could use it per visit. She said she would have to ask her manager if we could use more than one. I re read the back of the card to her it clearly stated per visit not per table and obviously we were all there visiting and we each wanted to use our $5 card. And as clear as Texas Road house coupons are they would say per table if it was per table. So the nasty manager Nate comes to our table saying he would "let" us use One. As if he was doing us a favor. I said where does that cards say we can only use one? He said it says per visit I said exactly and the 4 of us are visiting. I said, "it doesn't say per table as he keep insisting. Also we were each paying separately. He kept arguing with us so we said fine then we will all 4 sit at separate tables. Then he got real nasty with us and said we where pulling stuff with them like getting a free bucket when we got the $5 cards with our gift cards. Of course, the signs are not up at this time as it was January 5,2021 and the sale was during December you had to buy the gift cards. But he was now claiming the sign said it was one or the other. I told him who in their right mine would spend $100 and pick a bucket instead of $15 in $5 cards to use and that the sign never said one or the other. He kept arguing we owed him a bucket back. So I said I'm tired of the harassments from them and we were leaving and taking our business else where. I asked him to give me my 4 $5 cards back then he got even more nastier and said he was keeping them and if I wanted them I would have to bring the bucket back. I told him if there was some kind of mistake, when I paid $200 for the gift cards, which there was no way to prove one way or another, at this point, other than common sense, since the signs were gone, that it was his workers fault and not mine and I want my cards back. He refused so I told him I was calling corporate office. As I was leaving I seen him talking to another guy. I got in my car then I called the restaurant to ask for Howard who had a card by the cashier that state he was the owner. I find out Howard was there and figured he was the person that Nate was talking to as we left and he didn't care to keep customers or he would have stepped in. So I asked for who was over him and the girl on the phone said Dave I asked for his number and she put me on hold. Then Howard gets on the phone and I go ahead and go over everything that happened. I tell him how every time we try to go there we get harassed. He didn't seem to care so I told him I would put it on social media and every place I can put an a review how bad they treat customers. I keep insisting I wanted my 4 $5 cards back they where given to me and Nate his manager was stealing them. Howard finally said he would give them back but he would only allow one per table. I explained once again the cards just said one per visit not one per table and they need to stop harassing people when they try to use the promotions Texas Road House puts out. Anyway I also told him I would not be back ever again once we used the cards. He said he would give me the cards back only if I went to the Leonardtown Texas road house. They are over an hour away. But even though he had no right saying that to me, I told him I'm glad there is a better one to go to and he would never get another dime of my money. And I would make sure everyone I know knew how nasty they treated customers. I went back and got my cards but at this point I'm wondering if he didn't just take the $5 off those 4 cards. I will be checking, by going to the far away Texas road house to let them check for me. But for now I'm hoping the far away branch treats their customers better. Otherwise, we will continue to take our money and business some where else. There are so may restaurants to pick from we don't need to go somewhere that treats customers nasty.

Eat with your fingers
November 30 we stayed at a hotel in Hunt valley Md. We ordered pickup at texas road house like we usually do staying out of town. Picked up order went back to hotel. No plasticware, no butter or sour cream which was ordered and paid for. We called back to texas road house huntvalley and supposed facility manager Brittany said I am sorry, come back and we will provide those things as well as the butter you paid for. We said by the time we leave and come back, the food would be cold. So I complained to the www site of road house and heard nothing. My wife posted on huntvalley roadhouse facebook siyte and Texas Roadhouse removed the post and never answered the complaint. I posted on the facebook site for hunt valley and again it was removed to keep people from reading it. The food may be good, but when you have to eat with your fingers and do not get all you paid for, it is a problem which needs to be addressed. When you complain, complaints should be taken seriously and corrected not ignored. Not eating steak and baked potatoes again with my fingers or is my wife. Other business will address this problem.

Terrible management
Bartender was very attentive (Taylor) but he can only do so much. He should not be expected to run food, bus tables, prepare drinks, take orders and greet customers properly; all the while, the Manager is sitting on his butt, doing nothing, as I am sitting here writing this review. The owners of this place should be here; monitoring what Texas Roadhouse "expect" and not leave signs everywhere that they are a "family owned business." Huge disappointment and we will not be back. BTW, I travel here for business twice a month and this is my third visit. You have many employees who are attentive here, treat them right! Make this restaurant a place to enjoy!

THE WORST EVER!
I had the worst experience ever at Texas Roadhouse in Madison Heights. First of all, Texas Roadhouse lost my call in order according to the server. I waited for 40 minutes to get my order curbside. He kept telling me they were looking for my order and they couldn't find it. In the meantime about 15 to twenty people were getting their orders and leaving. Some even pulled right up and left within minutes. I kept my cool because I know this volume of curbside orders may be different for them in light of social distancing protocols put in place because of Covid 19. I finally got my food only to see that the salmon was completely burnt and dry. The bottom was crispy like brown crispy it was so burnt. So I call the restaurant to complain that my sal.on was burnt even after I waited way too long to get my order. The girl told me to bring it back. I said I am too far away to come back now. She says you can bring it within the next day or so. That is ridiculous. Would I actually go through the trouble to call back and complain if it wasn't burnt and if I didnt have to wait forever. Anyway, that's it for me. I'm done with that texas roadhouse and they should be ashamed of themselves for the service, or lack of service I received. Then to tell me to bring it back like I'm lying, check with the cook, he knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Worst dining experience of this decade
Do not go to the Texas Roadhouse in Roanoke. The service is beyond terrible. Texas Roadhouse sat 6 people at our table and gave us 4 pieces of bread. We had a glass of tea that had trash floating in it. Then we had nothing to drink while eating our salads. I had to yell at someone to make them stop putting out new food on a table that had not been cleared. They were feeding humans not sloping hogs clean the dirty dishes from the table PLEASE. No bread with the meal. The baked potatoes were not even warm enough to melt the cheese on them. Then as I am leaving the manager thinks the solution is a coupon for a free appetizer. Idiot I don't spend good money for a bad experience twice. I will never eat there again. Yes that is my food in a to go box because by the time it arrived I was too disgusted to eat. Notice the cheese didn't even melt in a closed box. Who wants a warm baked potato?

To Go Order Disappointment
Because of our areas covid restrictions, I placed a to go order online from the Tonawanda NY location. When I opened up the order at home, all items were there; however, the cactus blossom appetizer was burnt on the top with undone batter on the bottom making it inedible. The chicken critters were way overcooked and dry. Rolls were over brown on top. We had ordered this same family pack before during the pandemic and it was delicious so I don't know what changed. Obviously no one was doing quality control to let this order be released as it was. Lesson learned: be sure to check your to go orders before leaving! Our meal was so disappointing that I don't think we'll be returning any time soon. There are a lot of other local businesses in our area that we can support and and get a quality edible meal.

NEVER AGAIN
We visited the location in $#*!son City PA with our son, daughter in law and grandchildren. Texas Roadhouse are so disorganized. This begins with management. We were seated and for 7pm on a Saturday night they should have plenty of custom sized steaks available especially ones offered on their menu. Needless to say they didn't and the waitress had to ask the manager for an answer every time we asked for something. The staff is unprofessional after my husband was hit in the head by the waitress (and she laughed about it) behind us twice we asked for a manager. He was the most condescending and rudest manager we have ever dealt with. The excuse was "we're short handed" NO EXCUSE proper training and an establishment short handed can still be professional. Our grandchildren were getting tired and after 1 hour and 15 minutes food was served including theirs. The children should have been served much sooner. I called corporate and explained in detail and was offered $30.00 off 2 adult meals. Wasn't looking for anything just wanted them to know the poor service. This gets worse. Went to a location near our home in NJ and we chose our steaks and were served Sirloin when we chose boneless Ribeye! We were going to use the coupon offered for the first screw up but in turn we were comped for the error. Sadly when we left our steaks were still in the case. What a joke. That evening I wasn't feeling well... got food poisoning from my guess the appetizer. Three times and we are done. This past weekend we gave it our best shot and final chance. The service was aweful, steak for my husband was under cooked and we were eating in the middle of dirty appetizer dishes up until we paid. The table behind us also complained that their steak was under cooked. Used the coupon and for $56.00 it was crap. Never again going back there! Outback isn't great but better. Soon Texas Road House will be on the going out of business list.

Service
So the other day my family and a few friends when to Texas Roadhouse in Altoona pa we had 12 people six at one table and six at another our service started out ok then it went down when our food came one table received there good but the other did not we waited an hour before anyone came to check on us and it was a manager so we ask adopt the food and it came but it was messed up my friend has a mushroom allergy and so does her mom Texas Roadhouse ask for no mushrooms when there food came out the mushrooms were hidden thankfully They noticed one and didn't eat it then we ask for the check and they were messed up we ask a manager to help us fix it he did but we didn't pay yet so we waited 15 more minutes for our waitress and she assumed the manager took care of us but didn't then I seen her go to the register and tell everyone how terrible of costumers we were and that drew the line for me because my family goes there every time we go to Altoona and that's never happened to us before and I understand taking care of a large group of people is hard because I used to work in a restaurant but you should never give attitude when someone uses their manners you use them too I don't care how angry you are or annoyed costumer service is a hard job so make sure you can handle it without getting mad and potentially loosing customers

Horrible service
The service was horrible the waiter was very inexperienced for example I ask how much was extra shrimp she said 2.99 get the receipt it's 6.99 I wanted a 20 oz steak Texas Roadhouse where out If them so I had to get a 22 oz she said it was 21.00 a 1.50 a oz this size is not on the menu it was 30.00 on the recipe, we was waiting on our appetizer after about 45 mins no food I ask where it was her response was." I don't know what's going on with your order they have it " I'm waiting patiently food comes out wrong order! So second time she bring a rack of ribs out I'm waiting on a rib eye by this point I'm livid that the entree comes out with the food wrong order not once but twice! Food cane out cold, I ask for a manager after waiting 30 more mins I get a very rude lady I ask who she was she stated a " key holder " never heard if this told her what was going on she says I'll go remake it ask what we had. By this time I ask for it to go I'm furious while waiting I here her tell a co worker there lucky I'm bagging all this food up to go! I leaned over told her excuse me you don't gotta bag anything up because I came to dine in! In fact I want nothing I walked out! Horrible service food came out cold! Terrible experience for my friend as well whom was from out of town we was on a dinner date

Server bad service
Okey today around 3:30 pm
My family and I went to eat at this Texas road house restaurant in Baytown Texas, so we got our bread and drinks on a good time frame, then we ordered our food but our server never came by to ask if we want something ealse or drinks Refills witch we did need drinks and we when we saw her we ask her that we need drinks she left and never came back with our drinks plus she was kind or rude we finished our food and still no drinks very bad service with this server her name is Hannah and our table # was 526/1
She needs to be retrained on her job and if she is with bad attitude just stay home

Bad service and dirty plates
We normally go on Sundays to eat at Texas Roadhouse. I made sure to get there early to be able to get a table. We waited outside as being the first to get in. The door opened lady asked how many I said 7 she said you'll have to wait outside til your table is ready. I said what do you mean we are here alot of Sundays this has never happened. She said well we have to make sure your rolls, silverware etc is already at the table. So she let all the other people in that were behind us. Texas Roadhouse is very busy Texas Roadhouse should already have tables ready and setup there's always big parties of people when we go. So lady left us standing outside. After several minutes we walked inside and I'm assuming this one lady was a manager she had a button up shirt on. We explained to her that we normally are seated right away. She is not a people person at all and no customer service friendliness at all. I would much rather give my money to Chili's or Ruby Tuesday atleast they would appreciate our business. Sometimes these folks need to realize without us they wouldn't have a job. I been in retail and management my whole life and I value my customers and love seeing repeated ones. So anyways after we were seated I looked at the plates to give my kids all a roll and butter on their plates well the plates were dirty. Some had dried food on them and some looked greasy where you could tell they hadn't been washed properly.

RTO MEANS RAW STEAK
Just an FYI

After hiking 10 miles today we decided to get curbside to go at the new Texas Roadhouse. We ordered 3 steak dinners with baked potatoes and green beans. Starving and exhausted we got home to find the steaks were not cooked or unpackaged but the rest of the food was cooked. When we called to ask why we had raw steaks we were informed we ordered the RTG steaks curbside. Umm yes, we wanted the ready to go curbside meals. Well it means Ready to grill. So you cook it yourself.
So tell me why would you go to a restaurant to buy raw food to cook at home? Texas Roadhouse have a place like that and it's called Publix. And why would they cook all the sides and not the steak? Guess it works if you have a pet tiger?

Stupid Policies and Ignorant Managers
Went to Texas Roadhouse in Greenwood for my granddaughters birthday. Got there and checked in ask for a table for 3. Texas Roadhouse said is your party here and I stupidly said no they are on their way and was told POLICY is we dont seat incomplete parties. So i sat and waited. Meanwhile I saw groups come in and be seated but the kicker was when I saw multiple incidents of 1 or two people walk in bypass the hostess desk and walk on in the restaurant. Obviously stranglers to incomplete parties. When I complained to the hostess she called the manager and when i confronted the manager with this her comment was "you dont know what they are doing walking in" Well they sure weren't coming in to use the restroom. So the trick is LIE and tell them your whole party is here rather than be honest if you want to get seated. They lost money on the drinks I would have had while waiting, the waitress we would have had lost a good tip and I will never return to that particular Texas Roadhouse again.

RUDE
I ordered a whole meal to go. I received my food and asked was everything in there and I was told yes. Well once I got home I was missing my baked potato and called just for them to tell me there out of baked potatoes. It's the fact that Texas Roadhouse didn't let me know when I picked my food up and then I had a worker call to tell me that the potatoes was missing literally a hour later and as I explained to her that I called already she continued to say " oh well we're out of potatoes" then hung up in my face. I called back and the Manager got on the phone and made up a whole excuse of the phones just hanging up but if that's the case why come she didn't call back again. Definitely will not be ordering to go again!

Horrible service
I've never had a good experience or meal at Texas Roadhouse in Amarillo, Texas, but because my kids like this restaurant I thought I would give it another chance. Like expected Texas Roadhouse failed miserably. First they sat us, a family of four with two young kids, at the bar section. I thought the bar section was designated for adults. Second it took an hour to get our food. My steak came out rare when I ordered it medium well. You would think a steak restaurant would know the difference. I sent it back and requested it cooked like I ordered it. My family finished their meal and 30 minutes later I still had no steak. Third I ordered tea and received one glass during this entire ordeal. You would think the waitress would be on top of things being that things were not going well. I cancelled my steak order and requested the check. A manager brought me the check and a coupon for another day. I gave the coupon away to the first person I saw while leaving the restaurant. I will never return to this restaurant and I hope upper management read this review as I know this is a chain restaurant.

Very disappointed and confused by hostess's guidelines
After two attempts to eat at Texas Roadhouse in Jefferson City, MO, we will not try again. First attempt was to make a reservation 4 days ahead of our arrival for 8 people. The hostess said we could not be seated until 9:30. Okay. Second attempt, we decided to show up and hope we could get in after 20-30 wait. Your hostess said she could NOT seat a party of 8; however, she could seat 7. (?) If we would split into 2 groups of 4 each she could seat us, but we would probably be 20 minutes apart. (There were empty tables.) She acted like she did not care if we were there or not, so we left and had a nice meal at Longhorn Steak House. You are asking for a "proof of purchase." There was none.
