The Hatch Chile Store

I received two orders of the medium green chili. They were in excellent shape, large peppers and fresh. I worked hard at getting them grilled and refrigerated or frozen. It’s hot and humid here in Florida and I didn’t want to chance losing any. The aroma kept me smiling all day. The medium is good for our family! Making green chili stew and chili rellenos tonight. Already ate with pinto beans and papitas. Absolutely met my expectations.

Outstanding chile! I ordered 200lbs of hot and medium, it arrived to northern NH in 2 days, it was perfect. I got it all roasted and in the freezer. I have been buying fresh chile from Hatch Chile Store for a few years now and it's always excellent. My husband grew up in Hatch NM and was the one who introduced me to "hot" food (that was 39 years ago). I share this chile with my friends and it is always a hit!

Ordered ten pounds of the hot peppers. They were shipped promptly via two day air and arrived fresh as promised. Roasted, peeled, vacuum packed and in the freezer the following day.
Peppers were firm and meaty. I ate a couple raw before roasting and reserved a few from the freezer to immediately make a pot of chili verde. The peppers have good flavor. However, if these are the 'hot' I likely should have ordered the extra hot. Perhaps living in Colorado enjoying chili peppers most of my life defines my opinion of hot differently than others. Certainly won't stop me from ordering Hatch again.

When I placed my order I wanted to have it shipped to an address while I live at another address, the shipping address is different from my billing address. I am thinking of placing another order but if I can't ship to the address I'm considering ordering and pay for it with my billing address -- I'm not going to order again. The website wouldn't let me the first time, there won't be a second time.

My love affair with Hatch Green Chile dates back to when I moved to NM in 1980. What a discovery it was, it became a part of almost every meal for me and my family. When I moved from NM for employment reasons, I started ordering green chiles sent to me from Hatch no matter where it was I lived. This year I found the Hatch Chile Store and and ordered. I plan to order more of the many Hatch chile products they offer. Breakfast this morning was a hard boiled egg wrapped in Hatch green chile which I had roasted when it arrived and put portions up in storage bags.

I ordered a 10-lb box of fresh hot green chile and it arrived on my porch a few weeks later. The day after it arrived I roasted it on a gas grill and peeled it. The chile was very fresh and of high quality. It roasted very well and peeled perfectly. It's not quite what I consider hot, but it's very tasty and provides a satisfying kick. It seems a little pricey with the special shipping charges, but it's a luxury to have a taste of New Mexico here in California, and I feel it was worth it. My freezer is nicely stocked with roasted and peeled chile and should last several months.

My Mom taught me how to make Rellenos years and years ago and I have since made them for my family. They are so good, but so messy and clean up is a nightmare. I just discovered that Hatch Chile Store has them for sale. I ordered a package for myself and have already eaten half them. A bit costly, but so worth it. No fuss, no muss. I wiil order again soon. They could be packaged a bit tighter. The box was torn and the package of rellenos was hanging out, but still in tact

I received my Sandia peppers on Saturday, July 17 about a week earlier than last year. I roasted all 25# immediately. They were all in great condition minus 2-3 cut Chiles. Great flavor & not real hot. I'm going to have to order another 25# if I can come up with some extra cash. For 20 plus years I ordered from the "other" supplier and had problems often.Im so glad I switched! Thank you all for checking on my order.

In Wisconsin, Hatch chilies are impossible to find--other than the mild, minced little chunks in a can. The HOT Hatch chilies we got in the mail from The Hatch Chile Store were just perfect. They were all in great shape and smelled AMAZING when I roasted them in the oven. And they are hot in spiciness-just the way we love them. We enjoy them in our scrambled eggs, in grilled chile cheese sandwiches, and in a "gringo" cheese dish requested at family gatherings.

Look.. I lived in New Mexico for 16 years and am addicted to green chile. Live in California now and ordered 25lbs of hot green chile. It showed up as promised and the Chile is absolutely magnificent. We spent the weekend roasting and bagging the Chile and eating green chile stew and green chile cheese burgers. We have found much of heaven thanks to our friends at The Hatch Green Chile Store! Absolutely best experience. Highly recommend them!

I was sent Green Chili Cheese tamales by mistake and they were the best tamales I have ever had!
The masa was the lightest, most flavorful and the filling was delicious.
Then I received my corrected order of the Chicken tamales and they were just as delicious.
I just wish there was a little more filling in the Chicken tamales.
This is my go to place for tamales and roasted whole green chilies.

I lived in Colorado and recently moved to Texas and found it difficult to find Hatch‘s chili anywhere. so, I would have friend ship it from Colorado to me but now I found an Hatch Chile Store which delivers right to my door with guaranteed freshness I am so pleased and excited.. I roasted them as soon as I got them and ready to start making green Chile .. with no longer the stress of having to search for or dive a distance to find some version of hatch clhile..

Since we moved to Key West, FL from Albuquerque...Hatch Green Chile is ordered every year...to include the roaster. Great customer service...very supportive and we have always had a great product. Always on time...and even when we had to evacuate during Hurricane Irma, they made sure our shipment was delivered to where we evacuated too. I tell all my friends to order from Hatch. And here in Key West I'm known as the tamale man and "ALL" my tamales are made using Hatch Green Chiles. Can't wait to roast this batch I received today! I'm the Southernmost Hatch Green Chile Roaster!

Package arrived on time and chilies were still frozen solid. Well Done. Not for the not so much category, 1. the chilies are NOT as hot as the web page would lead you to believe. Cust Svc says due to the weather last year. Then you should update page so say they may not be as hot as expected. 2. Chilies are mushy. 3. LOTS or "juice" in package. I've done chilies at home and frozen them and never had this much. Overall, may have to question ordering again.

We have purchased several items from The Hatch Chili Store….the chilies, salsa, spices and the pizzas several times. Everything has been perfect until recently. Two batches of the pizzas arrived completely thawed and the person that I last spoke to in your store said they would ship the replacement out of the warehouse in California on Monday. Here it is…Thursday … and altho I have been waiting all day, no pizza has arrived. It isn’t that far to California but I fear they will be thawed again. It has to be the packers and/ or the shipping. Perhaps it is like the airlines or even the banking facilities…..staff is scarce.
Nothing wrong with your product tho. It is all very good.p

I really enjoy the Store’s chopped and roasted medium Hatch Green Chiles. They are frozen, arrive 5 each 1 pound bags to a box. So I take a bag out of the freezer in the morning. Thaws a bit, I spoon out a little into the pan for omelettes or a small batch of pork green Chile to smother breakfast. Re-seal the bag and back in the freezer. I’m satisfied. Also love the dried red chiles in my kitchen. Pluck one, chop it up, in the pan it goes.
I have their products shipped all over, wherever I’m traveling, so I can take it home to the Caribbean. Chiles from Hatch make life worth living, and the Hatch Chile Store is my dealer of choice at the source.

I'm very pleased with my experience purchasing from Hatch Green Chile.com. I've tried a selection of dried products as well as nuts and green chile tortillas. Everything is very tasty and authentic. I grew up in NM and now live out of state, so I'm always looking for ways to enjoy Hatch chile at home. The Hatch Chile store has come through and supplied me with the food I miss so much. Thank you!

Green chiles from The Hatch Chile Store are my favorite! My sister lives in Santa Fe, but I live in Florida so I can easily order online when I'm running low so I always have a good stash in the freezer. I use these chiles on everything: to spice up and add flavor to cauliflower rice, on a pizza, on a sandwich. I've even put them in an apple cheddar chile pie! Customer service is prompt and courteous and delivery was right on time with the product still completely frozen, so I highly recommend The Hatch Chile Store for all of your chile needs!

I’ve ordered from you all before in the last two years and was very pleased with all of my products. This last order however I was not happy that my tamales were wrapped basically in some sort of paper rather than cornhusks, the flavor was good but not the same as with the corn husks. I don’t know why you guys decided to change other than maybe it’s too time-consuming to wrap them in the corn. Everything else in my order was very very good.

My experience with Hatch Chile Store was excellent. I was notified that one part of my order could not be filled and therefore asked that you send me double the green chile since it was the same total price. My request was immediately filled. After purchasing a large batch of chile while visiting Hatch, NM last year, I had no doubt I would be pleased. The people were very friendly then and easy to work with now. I brag about Hatch chile to all my family and friends in North Carolina.
