Initially I only shopped online at The Tech Den because I noticed they re-homed fish. (This impressed me because I'm over other creatures being seen as valued pets but fish being seen as disposable decorations fed by an unethical industry that fails to inform people of even basic care). Then the Tech Den turned out to consistently have high quality product, really competitive prices & great customer service. Their advice is real & educated - not the invented quick sale advice you get at so many aquarium outlets. And they still re-home fish. So it's now the place I look first when I need something.

Whilst I have been very happy so far with every purchase, the last was not up to the usual standard:
Aqua Pic acid buffer was hard as rock and should be like loose granulates! To measure properly completely unsuitable!!
Would hope I can return it…or exchange!

I don't understand why they can't turn the lights on in there shop, it is hard to view products, I have thought about bring a torch as a joke,I had to take a product over to fish tank light just to read it, I did not but fish in my last visit as it was to hard to get served in there tiny narrow fish isle

I have made numerous purchases from tech den. They are always extremely fast to process order and ship and normally arrives following day 😁 I have a large reef setup at home and handy to have items arrive 1-2 days. Outstanding service and im more then happy to make future purchases.

Absolutely amazing service! Products are well priced, cheaper than buying locally, even with postage added in! One item I bought had different packaging than what was shown online, which wouldn't have bothered me, but I even received a phone call explaining the situation and offering me a discount! I've never had a negative experience with The Tech Den and will keep coming back!

Service from you was fine. Your delivery times are pathetic. I know you will say it’s Australia paid and that it’s Covid… we as customers are sick of hearing that bad service is because of Covid. 17 days and still not here !!!
Horrible and looks like I’ll have to buy local from now on.

My husband and I are setting up two new tanks and have been to all the local aquariums around our area. The Tech Den is amazing!!! It is very clean, the tanks are always immaculate and the fish look very happy and healthy. But above all, the staff, and I mean all staff, have constantly given us excellent advice, they are so knowledgable and very helpful about ALL aspects of setting up the tanks and caring for the fish. They are now our go-to shop and we won't go anywhere else. Thanks for all the help guys!

Ordering online from Tech Den is so stress free, I wish every business processed orders the same way. The products are easily found on the website, ordering is straight forward, dispatch is super fast with emailed updates at every stage, and goods are always accurate to what was ordered. Awesome job.

The shop is great. However since the reward club was taken online I simply do not get any discounts. You have tried to reset my account but still nothing. In the last four weeks I made two purchases and asked the staff if we still get discount, which they assured me. I paid and later at home realised nothing was discounted. The staff new I asked and they did not even notice it on the sale and did not mention it. If you want me to be overjoyed and shouting from the roof tops you need to fix this issue. Even online purchases I don’t get discount. So frustrating.

I was a not happy having to send ID confirmation even though I am a past customer.
The shipment was sent signature only aven though I have arranged with Aus Post to leave if not home. As I have a disability I struggle to get to the PO to collect. It should be my choice if I want it left at the door!
Not sure if I'd purchase from them again!

Excellent range of products, and great customer service. One of the containers tissue culture plants I bought arrived dead, and Tech Den sent me a new one, no fuss. I'll happily buy there again, knowing that they will make sure I'm getting quality products.

Contacted Tech Den about a warranty problem and they did not hesitate to solve the matter. They were very helpful and arranged for a replacement item to be sent out at no cost. I would highly recommend them to everyone with their customer service and products.

you could not ask for anymore, I live in Melbourne and I buy all my fish products from the Tech den, To me the best, service, advice, delivery, and products. The Girls do such a great job, sorry guys too but I don't deal with them much lol, except when it comes to Bob my freshwater Moray Eel.BUT need new lollies over mentos

Always willing to answer questions with the right info. Great product range. Almost always has what I need and if they do not have it, I don’t normally have to wait to long to get it.
Always good to deal with people who are passionate about what they do and sell.

I really wanted to get a couple more Angel Fish for my 4' tank,& has my eyes on some medium sized ones. The sales person made me feel like I shouldn't, after I told her I have a 4ft tank, so I ended up not getting them (only the smaller ones I'd already chosen). It did annoy me a bit. She was unaware I have a 2nd tank ready to set up, & I intended eventually moving some of my fish across to it once the bio cycle is suitable.

Staff are helpful when I am there although I was given very bad advice about the purchase of a filter. Your hours on weekends are ridiculous as you seem to think no one works during the week. Only being open 10 to 2 and not taking phonecalls on weekends is very poor customer service.

Love my Friday arvo visits, always a great way to end the week, especially when I bring home a nice discus LOL, you have some of the best ones you,ve had in ages at the moment, pity they are so expensive or I would by more, probably a good thing.

The Tech Den is an awesome shop, I have purchased from them a couple of times so far, and always boxed and delivered very quickly. Love it! Such a great range and price as well. Highly recommend them to anyone that wants to buy online, or visit in-store! 5 stars! :)

Product differs from description/picture. VCA RFG was meant to fit onto Red Sea tanks under 3 foot. The item received has the wrong connection which is different to the one pictured on website. Email sent to customer service with no reply. Now I have wasted $30 on an item I can't use!

Was chasing an automatic fish feeder. The crew had it sent in an instant. From ordering online to delivery was only a couple of days despite public holidays and weekends. That’s service. And the feeder does what I need it too😊
Will be getting more stuff in the future.
