Paul Picot Watch
I purchased a Paul Picot watch with a 1-year aftermarket warranty which I received clarification that it is back by the company, Touch of Modern (TOM). The watch was "unworn", used as store display.
The watch has diamonds on the 1 to 5 number locations, After a week, I'd noticed the diamond on the 2 position was loose and promptly contacted TOM and Touch of Modern sent me an RMA and FedEx return code. I received no update after they received the watch and after numerous email inquiry, they said they will have it repaired. Long story short, after several weeks of hearing no update, I had to put in a claim through mu credit card company for full refund. After a few weeks my credit card company award me a full refund because TOM was unresponsive to their inquiry and only after that I was contacted by their "customer service" asking me to "reverse my claim" as they are prepared to give me a full refund! How stupid do they think people are!

Scam Sham Company
Bought a Franck Muller Watch which was supposed to come with Authenticity Documents which never arrived. Watch is probably stolen or fake. Touch of Modern refuse to send papers. All Sales Final. Sorry but AMEX Platinum has already credited me. I also bought a decorative statue which arrived broken. They have not replaced it or refunded. I am convinced this company is a total scam and should be shut down instantly.

Scam artists, stay away
I ordered 2 LED floor lamps from this company on 10/25/2020. The total price with shipping was $ 212.08, that was immediately charged to my CC. The expected shipping time was 5-7 weeks. The last day of the 7 weeks was 12/13/20 and the items have not arrived. On the 15th I contacted them, and requested a full refund.
Their response was that I cannot cancel, because it was a final sale, and Touch of Modern have already processed the order. They attached a generic FedEx tracking label, that clearly shows that the items have not even been picked up by FedEx today, on the 16th.
This company really smells like scam. Stay away!

It's just the shipping time frame
After, reading all the horrible reviews I was compelled to write a good one. I have ordered from from ToMO many times and all of their products are amazing the hand carve chess set was by far the best Christmas gift given in my entire life. I also was given store credit for a pair of shoes that didn't fit my husband even pass the 7 days. Yes, customer service via email was a pain and needs improvement for sure but in the end I received the credit. The only reason why I gave a 4 star and not 5 is because the company needs to get under logistics. The product can take months to get.

BUYER BEWARE! GO ELSEWHERE.
Ordered two items on November 18th to give as Christmas gifts. Not going to happen. I was just told that Touch of Modern will ship on December 23rd. Unless they're shipping from the house next door, they will not be here in time. Can't cancel, so I'm screwed.
I wish I had read the reviews (especially BBB) before I purchased anything. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

Tech Savvy but not customer friendly
Beware when ordering from this company. Touch of Modern do not make it clear which items are non-refundable. It seems you can get a lot of their items at other sites for 1/3 the cost. They are good at somehow hiding their rather poor reviews when you search for them on the internet, so I assume they are quite tech savvy but I find they don't care about their customers very much, just about their profits. Eventually those will disappear as word will get out.
My experience is that I bought a wallet that despite my best efforts could not be delivered in time for an event. I asked to cancel the order and they refused, stating the item was on sale and therefore non-refundable. However, they did not even have the item, but needed to order it themselves and were waiting for the sale to finish before placing their order. They could have easily canceled my order before their "sale" ended. By the way, I paid over $40, then found the same wallet at Walmart for $12. Their image is cool, their philosophy is not.

Awful customer service and return policies
Touch of Modern men's shirt as a gift and it arrived without any packing slip. Of course it was too small so it is not well-made. Trying to return it has been a nightmare. Emailed customer service with my order number asking how one would return an item if there was no packing slip enclosed and I immediately got an email back asking for the order number! Provided it again only to get an email back sometime later from another customer service agent who asked me why I was returning the item. After emailing back again that the item was too small and did not fit properly I have yet to hear back from them. It's a waste of money to order anything off of this site. Never again! Buyer beware, you are using a site that is not customer oriented nor does it provide quality products. If you choose to shop there then consider your hard earned money as a donation to a for profit organization.

Wish I had checked reviews first!
I had the WORSE experience this past Christmas. Just so everyone knows, ToM is simply a third-party shipper who purchases items out of other company's warehouses. Their return policy really isn't. Their customer service isn't either. The product descriptions are deceiving and after waiting for up to two months for your order to be shipped from China (or who knows overseas!)... Touch of Modern give you all of 7 days to return it (that includes shipping it back... which... do the math!) I do NOT recommend this faux store front or the substandard products they "represent" in their advertising!

The word sucks comes to mind
Don't ever think about buying anything from these charlatans! While the items Touch of Modern display are dazzling, their service and response is anything but stellar. Trying to get them to respond is at best, lip service. As you can see with the attached picture, there was a reason to ask questions. With three different responders and zero results. You be the judge. It has been months since this happened of which the product was late in arriving and I am still waiting for a return authorization. But be warned, you are better off playing the roulette wheel at the casino with a blindfold over your eyes. P.S. I wanted to add a photo of the damaged product, but this site wants me to be a verified customer by showing a receipt? That is why I am making this review.

HORRIBLE Customer "SUPPORT" AVOID TOUCH OF MODERN!
All customer "support" is done through email ONLY!

After finding out the delivery dates for some of the items in my order were going to be shipped past the date I needed them I requested to cancel just those items on my order. The items I tried to cancel were coming from the manufacturer and as soon as I was sent the delivery date for those items I tried to cancel them. The comments said the item was not be shipped for another 2-3 weeks. I put in THREE requests to cancel these items but was ignored. At the time I placed the order, the item said it could not be returned, it DID NOT say no cancellations."

The most frustrating part is you can not speak to anyone!

There are so many good companies out there... AVOID TOUCH OF MODERN!

Don't order anything you need by a specific date
Unreliable shipping. Touch of Modern tell you it'll ship in 1 day but then you get an email saying you'll have your item in a month or two. There's no way to contact them either (other than the unresponsive email form on their website). I've learned my lesson after ordering something they won't take back and I now can't give as a gift (because it'll be here so late). Unprofessional company with no customer service - probably some losers trying to start a company from their parents garage.

Hit or miss
After 20+ items I've purchased over the years I would safely say 50% of it was garbage. I think the fact that Touch of Modern don't allow customer reviews on the site is very telling. Essentially this is a place for you to buy an item you already know and researched. If you're looking for a gift this isn't a good site partly because the shipment timeframe is very unpredictable. I have to mention that the customer support, service, and returns have gotten better. But even then, you'll only get a store credit.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
Extremely horrible business practices! I really wish I would have better researched your company before making a purchase because I now see that the reviews are horrible. I thought I would be a lifetime client but this experience has definitely shown that your policies are not developed to assist & benefit the consumers. The items were purchased for Father's Day and were too small for my husband. Now I'm stuck with over $200 in merchandise that Touch of Modern will not let me exchange (which is what I wanted to do) or return. I WILL NEVER purchase from Touch of Modern again. Please run! Just stay away! I've learned the hard way.

A very unsatisfied customer!

Cool App, Horrible Service
Touch of Modern is a cool app to watch new cool products. But once you go crazy and decide to buy something from them expect to have your order extremely late or absolutely wrong items. I'm one of those people who got crazy and bought something from Touch of Modern and one order was 2 Medium shirts instead got 2 Small shirts. Another order was a magnet to hold your phone in the car, this one I received it after exactly a month. And when you try to contact Customer Service you will get the exact message shown below.
"We do not keep a lot of merchandise in stock at our warehouse. Cutting out warehousing costs gives us the ability to have these great prices and affords people the discounts Touch of Modern see for all our products.
Once the sale has ended we then place an order with the designer. Sometimes these items are made when we place our order and sometimes they are ready to be shipped out. Then once the items are on their way to us, we then ship to you."

Some items okay... problems with others
I've bought several things from this company. Probably like 15 or 20 orders. The clothing I've bought from them, I really liked. But I've also bought several watches. And these watches were not cheap, ranging from around $250-$3300. I've had problems with almost every watch. There's a reason that these watches are heavily discounted. There's almost always something that doesn't work quite right on the watch. And you can't get your money back, or even cancel the order once it's been placed, even if it was 10 seconds before.

Terrible company do not use
I ordered a garmin pro 6 solar and received a garmin instict instead

Electronics Don't Last. Blind Items that are Overpriced...
Touch of Modern sells made on-demand items mostly from Russia/Ukraine, etc. Made on-demand means that Touch of Modern (you) have to wait until enough orders are in to justify doing a run of the item at the price offered, which is often quite cheap for items such as socks, wireless headphones, etc. that can be compared to other items.

ToM also sells specialty items that cannot be compared to existing products on the market (such as a weird elevated camping tent for around $11.5k.

I bought a set of Liger wireless headphones from ToM ~18 months ago, used them maybe 30 times, they no longer hold a charge and complaints to ToM have gone unanswered. You would think that they would get back to me, even if just to say the warranty is expired and they can't help me. Not even that, even though they can now afford to buy TV advertising.

Beware the Jabberwok!
I made the mistake of ordering a Canada Goose coat offered for sale by Touch or Modern. Touch of Modern advertised it. I ordered it. They accepted my order and IMMEDIATELY charged my credit card the full price of the coat, even though they did not have it in stock and had not shipped it. Approximately a month later, still no shipment, they still had my money and they sent me an email saying their vender did not have them and they could not honor their contract to deliver. They said they would refund my money. I felt that they were at best negligent in offering the item for sale when they really did not have it and that they acted unprofessionally in charging my credit card, keeping the money for over a month and then simply saying they would return the money. I suspect that this may be a scam to get the use of people's money for a month or so. While I recognize that is not a big hit as a one off, if that is what they are doing to lots of people, those small amounts add up ultimately to significant dollars.

I contacted them and gave them the opportunity to fix they problem appropriately by providing me with a comparable coat for the same cost. They refused to do that. Their position was that they could do nothing; an obvious lie. They can but choose not to. I STRONGLY recommend that you not deal with this company as a result of their unprofessional response to the problem that they created due to their incompetence and/or negligence.

Not sure if it made a difference that I am a senior. Actually not sure they knew that. But that I am a senior only makes it worse.,

Charged my credit card for a purchase I did not make.
A charge showed up on my cc recently for a purchase I do not recall making several weeks ago. Touch of Modern have no phone number so used email to attempt to resolve. I shared the appropriated banking transaction information with them and denied making the purchase. I requested they provide appropriated documentation for the purchase or return the funds. To date, they have done neither. My next step is the Better Business Bureau in their location.

Scam
These people are scammers. I ordered something and received totally something else. When I emailed them back Touch of Modern told me that they are out of stock and can offer me store credit, so I can buy something else that is probably not what I'll receive. While I can still go and order the same thing online. If it's was out of stock, why would I be able to buy it again 4 weeks after I placed my order and received it. They depend on your laziness to just accept what they've sent.
And when you have any concern expect to wait 5 days before you get a response. They are too busy sending out email blasts but they don't care when there's an issue.
