UPS are totally hopeless in all areas of communication and support, you really do not want to be using these people if there is any sort of simple problem with your package.
As a club we have bought some equipment from France and for four days we have not been able to get them to process it through customs or send us the details to pay the duty. Communication is poor and cannot be understood because it appears to be all at a call centre in India and the connection is hopeless. They keep thinking we are a business although they have been told many times we are not so want us to use a DAN account we do not have one or need one all we need is the CDSI ref number and we can pay the tax direct to the government website and hopefully they can get our stuff into an van and deliver it. We have spent hours trying to get some sense out of them every day for four days and we are no nearer than we were at the start. Bottom line they should not be in business and soon will not be as people will never use them a second time.
I have experienced the worst courier service with UPS. I paid $50 for their express service on top of $30 custom fee. They mentioned product will be delivered in one business day. However it has been 4 days now, product hasnt been delivered. Every day they provide me with a new ETA, mentioning it will be delivered next day. I called their customer service. Their lack of professionalism and incompetency surprised me. They had no clue what is going on. I saw on ups tracking app my product is one of the nearest Warrhouse from my home. I asked them if i can go pick it up if they cant deliver. They replied it need to be approved and i have to wait then few more days. I then ask for supervisor. They transferred me to another agent. Then she started telling me that she doesn’t know how long it will take for me to receive my product. I again ask for supervisor. She told me that their supervisor is busy and will call me back when she is available within an hour. I have not received a call back. I haven’t had this experience with any courier service. I paid the highest amount for this service and cant get a straight answer. It seems like all agents are just dodging my question. I would not use their service again if they dont resolve this issue. Amount of disrespect i have endured from using their service is unacceptable. All they tell you for their mistake is “sorry” and “not sure.”. I would not use their service again and not recommend them to anyone in future
We are setup on automatic payments, they charged a late fee. I contacted them via Live Chat and was told we didn't have Automatic Payments setup. I took a screen capture of the settings before the chat clearly showing automatic payments was setup. It's been setup this way since we started using the account. We have many previous invoices that were automatically paid until the most recent invoice. The rep then told me to call support and provided a phone number, she didn't know why it quit working. We also have to get the current invoice paid before they will reverse the late fee. This will require another 20 minutes on live chat hold, plus who knows how long for the support hold. Also, I was typing a response, then the chat disappeared and I was redirected to another page even before I could take down the phone number for support. Now I can't even find the correct support number. What a bunch of scammers. No wonder their net profit margin is around 30%. They have now problem breaking things, then charging customers fees and then making it too time consuming to reverse the fees. By the way, we are an e-commerce company who has been shipping with UPS for 20+ years. They have changed in the last 5 years, not for the better.
Lied to by 3 of the UPS phone reps. UPS doubled bill me on import fees, which included a ridiculous brokage fee which was 3X the tax fee. First I paid the reduced fee to the rep then when the package was delivered the driver billed the person who answered my door the full fee again.
I called UPS 4 times and was told the fees the driver took would be refunded back to the credit card it was paid with. Waited for the money to be refunded and it wasn't, so I called again and was told, again, it would be refunded which it wasn't. During the third call I was told by the rep they couldn't see the charge that was taken by the driver and I need to provide a copy of the credit card charge. So I got copy and when I called in for the forth time was told the money was in the process of being refunded. Then next day I received an email stating the refund was being sent to my via a cheque!!!!!!!!!
All the UPS reps know if to lie to people to get them off the phone.
Will never use UPS again and would not buy an item it UPS is the only shipping option.

If I could give a 0 score I would! The UPS Store in Fredericksburg at 754 Warrenton Road is a rip off! We shipped a package on July 2 and paid for 2 day delivery, it did not arrive until July 7th!!! It was an outrageous overpayment. The store employees lied to us, did not tell us the package would not leave until Tuesday (UPS does not work on Saturdays and Sundays or Holidays????) Even the receipt said it would arrive by Wed the 6th. When I called to get a refund on the 2 day I got complete run around about UPS policy, there are no store managers to talk to, etc etc. They just lied to us to get the extra price for 2 day then did not deliver. NEVER USE UPS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its to bad that most of reviews are posted out of anger, people take the time to complain, when every thing goes as planed, delivered on time we just expect that level of service. My story, I ordered an item that I was thinking about for a long time and finally did it, it came in to the UPS delivery center om Saturday and 4th of July week end, so I would have to wait for Tuesday to get it, on Tuesday the shipping status said it was out for delivery and so I waited most of the day around the house expecting its arrival, time goes on and I had things to do, I went out and expected it to be here when I got back, when I got home no package, I had supper and waited , it was now 6 pm and I'm thinking its's not going to get here today. At 7:45 PM a truck pulled up and I was quite surprised, the driver said the package was on his truck by mistake, it should have been on the truck parked beside his, aftr he delivered all his packages he saw mine, looking at the address he said it was on his way back to the Wearhouse (Watertown, NY) and stopped off to deliver mine, very nice person who took the time to do the right thing, for a customer and the company, thank you and I'm glad to get my package.
Twice I have been contacted by UPS stating they have a package for me with a damaged label & need my info, I go thru the form giving my address & phone (&email) info but refuse to give my CC info as they haven't given me a tracking number for the package with the "damaged" label. When I refuse to give the CC info they inform me they can't deliver the package without an additional delivery fee of $1-$5, which I refuse to pay as UPS has already been paid S&H on said package. Both times it has taken me weeks of correspondence & emails with the company that sent the package before they just refund my money (& I still don't know if they ever got the msde returned to them cuz I never received it). UPS just trying to scam ppl out of extra money for service they already been paid for.
Extremely bad customer service , I had couple of time tried this courier but every time bad .
But now I’m waiting my delivery status is showing it’s out for delivery from last two days .I rang two time to customer care yesterday (Thursday ) they said would be with you 6pm by end of day .no body came whole day I was waiting.
Today Friday 01/07/22 rang in office to asked they said was attempted but they are laying .
Ins short they said in Moring about around 11 am would be diliver today . I waited whole day even took off from work cz this parcel is very important to me not deliverd yet now ring again to customer care they said would be on Monday .
Very very awful , bad customer and delivery service not recommended to anybody in Ireland even anywhere .

I had a package delivered to my home many years ago that was stolen and I filed a claim. UPS paid the claim and I received a replacement product from the merchant. Fast forward to today, I have an UPS on line account to track my inbound packages. It has Email notification of packages scheduled for deleivery. All is good to this point. The system notifies me of forthcoming deliveries and also stated SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Over the past number of years, none of the shippers required this and after talking over a dozen of times with UPS representatives asking them to fix this problem of SIGNATURE REQUIRED when in reality, none was needed. This problem was never corrected. I had to call UPS corporate to file a complaint and they transferred me to tech support. The first person I spoke with was completely clueless and had no useful informaton. I requested to speak with a manager to whom I was connected to. I was advised that I live in a NON-DRIVER RELEASE AREA! Which meant that it is a high risk area for stolen packages. Wow. None of my neighbors have this flag on their accounts! So it is not the neighborhood they are flagging but me personally!!! So be advised that you as the receiver, if you have packages stolen, you will be flagged.
What this means is, if you have an UPS MY CHOICE ACCOUNT on line, you will be notified that ALL deliveries will require a SIGNATURE even when the sender does not require it and the drivers will drop the packages off without any SIGNATURES!!! So there is no way to know, unless you get notification ahead of time from the shipper, that a particular package truly requires a SIGNATURE since ALL PACKAGES are flagged as requiring a SIGNATURE!!!
This company is a huge waste of time and money!!! Do not do business with UPS!!!

Horrible service, the worst possible service and the drivers ever!!!
I literally just witnessed - seeing through my window the UPS driver pulling his van right in front of my building, texting on the phone and after 30 seconds doing a U turn and leaving. After few minutes I received a email that my delivery is not possible due to security gates. What a bunch of lies !!!
This is ridiculous and it’s not a first time. I have been calling a customer services for numerous times regarding this and I’m still getting the same stupid messages every single time.
Your robotic CS is keep telling me the same BS on the phone. “ Someone will contact you in a hour, “ an automatic response which they’re reading on the paper in front of them. Keep asking the same questions and verification over and over and over, instead of just looking at the ticket and the comments from a fellow colleagues. Well are they actually calling after an hour? NEVER!!

If that wouldn’t be enough of a frustration I emailed CS over the email and an agent reply me back that driver has left the area and IF the driver WOULD HAVE TIME during the afternoon he will call me back! Are you guys serious? Why am I paying a delivery for? For this kind of response and zero empathy towards your customers? Absolutely disgusting behaviour on a Friday afternoon, what matter is you are closing businesses until Monday and it’s easier to update a nonsense on as a delivery reason than pick up the phone and ring me to come downstairs and collect my package.
I did give a chance to fix that and warned you over the email about posting a bad review, you still didn’t bother so here you’re. 1 star. If that even matter to you, probably not cuz You’re Taking a p***!!!
The customer service is unhelpful and mean! I got a panic attack talking to them on the phone. Someone rescheduled my delivery date even thought I did not request it. Then the driver came 3 times and said that I am not at home when I was waiting for him all week at home. He did not even try calling me because apparently they dont have a professional phone. How is it even possible ? Anyway, I spent my days calling UPS like 4-5 times per day because they would promise to call me back reassuring that they will deliver it today. But it did not happen. Then they always have bugs on the website for my status and they never communicate on the website when the package will arrive. Nightmare ! Company that does not know how to solve problems — both the driver and call center. I will never use this delivery service for my own brand and for anything else. I have been still waiting for my package.

I have been waiting nearly a month for this package.
Despite everything being in order, and there being no issue with government customs, UPS decided to hold my package in France for 20 days. When I rang up to find out what was going on, I was told an assortment of lies A) customs duties due (untrue) B) commercial invoice missing (told this multiple times, lies both times as on the 6th I was sent a copy of the commercial invoice by UPS Customs Clerance Advisor called Jenelou Gemina) C) Held by customs (another lie, it has cleared government customs in a manner of minutes).
Something interesting I have learned speaking to British customs over at HMRC is that when UPS states something is in "customs" or being held "by customs" or is "awaiting customs clearance" that this is a lie, when UPS says "customs" it is in fact just speaking about its own storage warehouses. I found this out for myself today. Mercifully, my package is now in the U.K after its long, long wait in France. I can see from the tracking HMRC cleared it on the 21st. I rang them up to confirm this yesterday, and they indeed told me that no, HMRC is not holding it. So I rang UPS today, and what was I told? It was being held by customs. I pointed out no it wasn't, I have spoken to HMRC and they are not holding it. Well, at this point I was either A) transferred to another team who would just repeat the lie about customs or B) told that I was lying, that my package would be returned to sender or destroyed, and that it was still in the airport, despite tracking showing it being in Castle Donnington warehouse for two days.
Why does your company purposefully lie in order to cover it its own incompetence, and why on Earth does it feel it has the need or the right to hold my package when HMRC have no problem with it whatsoever. Why are you staff so incredibly rude, aggressive, unhelpful, deceitful, and also so cowardly that when challenged on their nonsense they hang-up the phone? Why on Earth has my package - which was supposed to arrive in the 6th - only JUST arrived in the U.K only to again sit in a warehouse.
DHL managed to get a package to me from Russia - a country under Western sanctions - in 48 hours. Enlighten me, how is it that they can do that, but you can't seem to get a package delivered from France after 23 days? Why are you so profoundly terrible at the sole service your company is supposed to provide?
I want my package, I am sick of waiting, I am sick of being fobbed off, and I absolutely will not tolerate the possibility of it sitting another 20 days in some godforsaken warehouse for absolutely no reason. I don't want to hear about "customs" because I have learned this is just a tactic UPS use to get people off the phone.
Sort it out. I know that you can, because only after I actually pushed back against your incompetent phone staff did it leave France. I am at the point that I am considering some kind of legal recourse, because your organisation is so purposefully obstructive.
I am very disappointed with the service UPS provided during my last shipment. In the past their service was on point. Apparently, this time my package has mysteriously gone missing. I wouldn't have mind so much if this was a regular shipment. However, this shipment was for an occasion on this Saturday. Now on top of working my fingers to the bone for 20 hours I have to give a refund. I actually could have just driven the package myself if I had known all this was gonna happen. The staff showing no compassion is another thing that's bothering me. I was provided a phone number that no one has answered in 3 days. That's called the "run around". Thanks UPS!!!! I can say without shadow of a doubt that this is the worst delivery company available in whole UK at the moment. Don't ever, EVER use it ! There're so many other delivery companies and every single one of them is better then UPS. I was promised that my parcel would be picked up begore 1 pm - nobody showed up, I called after 2pm and was promised that sbd would show up before 3 pm - nobody did. I called after 4 pm and was promised that driver will call me within an hour. After 5 pm I was advised that driver finished for today. I called the next day and was advised to wait for the driver, he "should" show up before 5 pm. My house is monitored, nobody even touched my door, I was waiting at my door almost whole day and they did not even bother to call me. My friend had the same experience and I regret I had not spoken to her before making a huge mistake and call UPS.
I purchased a shipment with insurance for a package valued at $1800 from UPS online. I paid extra to have a driver come pick it up. On security camera, I saw the driver pull up to the house, never get out of the vehicle, and drive away in under 3 seconds. He never took the vehicle out of gear. Just a stop and go.
So, I eventually decided to take the package to a UPS customer service center myself. The UPS website says that to file an insurance claim (in the event my package were to be lost or damaged), I would need to provide a signed receipt from a UPS employee that I would receive at the time I give them my package.
The UPS employee at the UPS Customer Service Center told me her computer could not tell her if my package was insured or not because I bought the label from the UPS.com website. She said she could not provide me any signed receipt to validate the UPS insurance that I purchased as required by their coverage policy.
I now understand that this is a scam UPS pulls to get people to ship without getting the required documentation so that when a claim is filed, they can simply say "Oh, you should have gotten the signed receipt. Sorry, we can't cover this." Needless to say, I will not be falling for this again.
I am deeply disappointed by UPS. They used to be my go-to shipping company. I just can't justify that at all now.
The worst experience I have ever had, which has left me crying as I have been waiting for a very special 40th birthday present from my fiance.
From now on I will check before making online orders about which courier service they use. If it is with UPS I will not order or request they use a different courier.
We received emails saying they attempted delivery (very unclear emails as well) at times when we were in...in fact one attempted delivery was made the exact same time we were getting a pizza delivery. So complete dishonesty.
We are on a new build site but our street and number is clearly marked on our door and every other courier and company has found us!!!
No phone calls made or notes through the door and no way to change delivery address. We just kept getting unclear emails about apparent delivery attempts.
My fiance tried to talk to someone on the phone, he ended up shouting at them, which I told him went too far, but he was so angry he lost his temper as the man on the phone was no help, kept saying it will come tomorrow but no solution, apology or explanation was offered as to why an apparent delivery was made when we were sitting at the kitchen table with direct sight of the front door. He was hurt as he was excited about the present he had got for me.
I did see a delivery men once, I was upstairs, by the time I got dressed to come downstairs (2 minutes) he had driven off. We have had emails about 2 other attempts which we were in for. (according to the lady at the depot multiple attempts have been made but no notification of these multiple attempts has been made. All we could see from tracking was it going I'm between depots with no option to contact anybody or find out why!!!)
We have asked the online company to resend the parcel with another company now.
I've sent a package via UPS on Thurs, 02Jun2022, tracking # 1ZE1Y7130372099985, to my son in Massachusetts, which was supposed to be delivered on Friday, 03Jun2022. at some point, when I checked tracking at UPS, it stated my son was not on business directory of building, and could not be delivered. Note, my son has lived at that address for the past year, I've sent multiple UPS shipments to him (at least 1x/month = 12x), but somehow, now you can't deliver it? and your customer service SUCKs big-time, cause they are not in the USA, they can't connect me to the USA peeps (even though they claim to have resolved it). Today is Monday, 06June, and even though I've spoked to someone in FOREIGN country today who said she would leave the message to the US UPS people to DELIVER The PACKAGE TODAY, I am still getting messages telling me they are putting this package ON HOLD (from Watertown Massachusetts UPS site, though they have no direct # in the USA -- cause i called again, and guess what, got the foreigners!! Oh, should be noted that someone from UPS actually called my son earlier today, he confirmed the address is correct, but then I get another call from Watertown MA, telling me package is ON HOLD).
And stop with the apologies, you guys are virtually useless. I thought you were pretty good for the past year, NOW I THINK YOU ARE TOTAL IDIOTS.

Monday morning 5/16/22, I stopped by UPS in Bellevue to check how many days it will take to deliver A4 envelope with a notarized doc to Israel. The answer was 3 business days. Later the same day, Monday 05/16/22, on my way back from Olympia I stopped by UPS store in Kent to mail a package in Israel. I chose the fastest & the most expensive way, the guy/manager/who knows said it will be delivered in 3-5 business days and...
After 2 days I started to check the status of the shipping on UPS website (using their tracking number), spent a couple of hours, called to UPS and found out that the store operates as USPS store (UPS customer service explained to me that it was USPS store and I paid double price for the shipping, $130 instead of $66). OK, this time I checked USPS website (using the tracking number) and found that the package was still in Seattle (May, 19th), after 3 days! it was still there. I called to USPS customer service, they couldn't helped me and recommended to wait when 5 days will expire. After 2 more days I got a text message that the package arrived to Carson California on May 22nd early morning and later the same day it arrived in LA California. And today, when I'm writing my review, 05/24/22, 9.20pm, it's still in LA. No words... Yesterday I had to notarize this document again, went to Olympia to get an apostille again and mailed it with DHL. Let's see who win this race...
On May 10, 2022 I went to this UPS #365 at 6045 Creditview RD, Mississauga, to get 2 photo for Canadian passport. While driving to Service Canada I noticed the photo on top of my forehead there was a yellow glare. I called and spoke to Ashley, who took my picture, and explained if these were be ok. She said the computer would not print if not ok. After waiting for about 2 hours in queue at Service Canada, the officer said these were not acceptable due to the yellow glare on my forehead as it did not match my skin colour. Afterwards I went to local Shoppers to get them done. On May 13, I went back to Service Canada and lined up for 2.5 hours. With the new photos at Shoppers all went well. Today, May 17 I finally found the time to go On May 10, 2022 I went to this UPS #365 to get 2 photo for Canadian passport. Although the other female employee served me, Ashley was there and claimed she did not speak to me May 10. They demanded the rejection letter to prove the photos were not accepted. She showed me a box filled with rejection letters. Wow, so many complaints already. I wasn't aware Service Canada would issue such letter in person. Maybe if you mail the passport application. Now do they think I would line up again at Service Canada and request such letter? After leaving without a refund. the other customer told me she had the same issue with photo with her young daughter on the side of hair with yellow glare. She said she would never go back to that store for photos. Very disappointed for poor quality of the photos. See the attached picture and photo instruction from Service Canada re glare.
Dreadful service, we sent a parcel on 5th April to a customer in Switzerland who had an event on 25th April. The parcel was delivered on 9th May. We were not compensated for the loss of our goods as the customer naturally did not pay us. We were told on 13th April that the parcel was in Europe in fact it did not leave the UK till 5th May after the event took place. We must have spent 100 hours on this and are £95 out of pocket. UPS do not pay out for this, only if the goods are 'lost' They did lose then but unfortunately managed to find them so got out of that one, though effectively they lost the goods and lost us our reputatoin and a customer.
