I paid online and went to the store but the two guys was looking for some QR code and I don’t know why it doesn’t appear in my email and app. I only left my luggage 2 hours here. Then they said we can go and the QR will appear when I check out. Then we back to the site 30 mins before our departure, the QR code still not appear, the two guys took my phone and kept clicking and searching and waste our time and did not allow us to go. My train was almost late and I said we have to go but they don’t allow us.the fk QR code doesn’t appear is not our fault but They don’t care and it could make us miss our only trail back to Germany from Paris!!!! And I gave cash for 7 euro
Would never use that agai
For us, this option was very comfortable and all went as described (easy booking, easy luggage deposit). When we entered the store we were provided with tags for every item and made a picture. That was it. Pick up was also very easy (store was open from 8am - 8pm)
This was a great idea! We were able to enjoy a day of vacation that we would have spent “babysitting” our luggage. The business we were assigned to was staffed with friendly, professional employees. The cost was very reasonable. We will definitely use Vertoe again!
The unit was clean and well furnished. Very near metro stop, grocery and eateries. The neighborhood is still very much under transition and does not feel safe in the evening hours. If you decide to rent this property please be advised that the check-in process is disorganized. The onsite desk attendant was not aware that we had rented a unit and had no information on how to gain access to our rental. After an hour the issue was resolved, thanks to the onsite attendant. The customer service center did not follow up or make sure our issue was resolved.
Super easy! Drop off was simple and quick. They gave us tamper proof luggage zip ties with an identification number on it. We took a pic of the number and headed out for our day! Came back when it was time to leave. Showed them the pic, they handed us our bags and we were off! Will definitely use this again when needed! So simple! So affordable!
The location of the facility was fairly convenient, but when I went to pick up my bags after only 2 hours they were both very cold and one was completely soaked on the bottom half, like they were stored in a walk-in refrigerator. Employee dropped the bags to us and walked away, no confirmation they were ours.
Very easy to use, the area where they keep your bag is open but it looked manned 24hrs, the man taking the bag was very polite, and when picking up, again it was very easy just show the photo of the unique code they give you and you get your bag.
It is a 1 minute walk from Victoria station, great location, I would recommend
I am not 100% satisfied with the experience I had with vertoe. I booked the storage location and within 5 minutes I tried to cancel and requested a full refund. The location was not what I expected at all. When I received the location and picture of the storage facility, I did not feel comfortable leaving my belongings there. Furthermore, when I googled it google said it was permanently closed. Needless to say, I tried to immediately cancel and I found alternate storage luggage at a safe place. I have requested a refund several times and it has been denied.
The attendant who received our bags and stowed them for the day was great. The attendant working in the evening didn't have a clue about our bags; he was unfriendly and unhelpful. Three stars may be generous, but we did retrieve our bags unscathed and for that we are grateful.
Our stuff was not put into a back room or anything. It was placed on the floor near the register. When we left, I asked twice - will our items be put in the back? I was told yes. Guess what? We returned and they were still sitting there. Guess I can't complain because they were still there - still, it didn't feel super safe.
This was such a convenient option to be able to drop our luggage while we explored the city! There’s no limit on how much you leave and you can drop off additional things throughout the day if needed. We didn’t have anything valuable, but please note that if you do you, items are in an open room, not a locker. No one can go into the back room without an employee present though.
I had about 5 hours between when I arrived at BOS and when my friends would get here, so I left my bag here to explore the east side. This place is walkable from the airport and could not have been nicer or more convenient. I highly recommend this spot
We reserved storage (prepaid and confirmed). We paid for an Uber and when we reached the address, we were refused and told they had discontinued services over a week ago. We attempted to call the customer service and looped endlessly with no help. We then tried calling another alleged vendor who also said they had no idea what we were talking about … so. Scam is the only word I can come up with (oh and we were charged for the non existent business).
I was able to find and book a suitable storage place fairly close to a subway stop from Reagan National Airport in DC. I don’t really like that you can’t at least get the exact address before you book (maybe it’s further than you thought,a sketchy area, etc). A previous reviewer had mentioned the name of this particular store so I had called before booking to make sure they really were affiliated with Vertoe. They were, I booked and found the place easily. It would’ve been a great spot except there was a storm the night before and the store had no power so could not keep our luggage. We had to go online and try to find somewhere else. Fortunately, we did and all worked out. I sent customer support at Vertoe a refund request which they honored within a few days. My biggest is caveat is that you probably ought to call ahead where you plan to store your luggage before you go. We didn’t know the facility couldn’t accommodate us and we lost a couple of hours in going there, backtracking and locating another storage facility. I will make it a practice to double check before going to drop off luggage should I need to use this service in the future.
Used their service on 2 occasions. For the first one, the lady at the shop said we could not pick it up 30 mins later than our estimated checkout time as she would charge us more. I checked our email confirmation and this was not correct. The second shop owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use it again.
My first time using a service like this to check my bags for the day. Very easy to find available drop points and book. Drop off and pick up was very easy too. I felt comfortable knowing my bags were safe and secure while I had the freedom to explore the city.
Service was good, got what I was looking for, but I noticed that 1, the bags were not at all in a secure area, 2, they never provided the blue security tags which would at least offer some peace of mind. Other than that, the service was fine, they were friendly, and we dropped off our bags, and picked them up totally fine.
I received the security tags and my bags were stored in a locked storage room. There are some periods where your bag isn't accessible but they are clear about when those times are when you arrive. If you are ok dropping or picking up your luggage in the morning or after 6 PM you shouldn't have any problem. I would use this service again from this location.
Booked to drop luggage off in Bangkok. The location was unattended/closed? I waited around for 30 min before leaving (with luggage). Contacted Vertoe. Was told I would be issued a refund that may take up to 10 days. After 15 days, no refund. I had to reach out yet again to get my money back. In total, I waited around 20 days. Only after I contacted them again did they said they would send through the refund. Needless to say, I won't bother trying to use this service again.
The only person working there had a hard time communicating with me and had no idea about the tags/locks for my bag. He instructed me to just leave it in the corner.
When I returned the door was locked and there was no one scheduled to arrive until after six pm. I had to wait for a traveler to awkwardly allow me access to my bag.
