If you’re a scam seller it’s a fantastic platform to sell you stuff....if you’re a genuine buyer not not purchase anything from this site as you will more than likely be ripped off and Vinted will be side with the seller

Vinted is the worst website out there, you get sent counterfeit items, you have to send them pictures, they can't authenticate, so they tell you you have to send back insured and tracked and pay yourself for a return. The scammers then put the items back on and gets somebody else!!!!
AVOID

I used Vinted and the former platform for almost 10 years (both as a seller and buyer) and have almost 1000 positive ratings. Now it happened that two new members contacted Vinted after my parcel didn't arrive after 5 (!) days and I got blocked from both them and Vinted. Vinted only comes back with more or less automated messages that I should send them that I got in contact with the members (I can't they blocked me) and send them the screenshots. I write a new message every day since a week and everytime another costumer service person answers me quite the same message without answering to what I am writing and it takes them over a day to do so. I am so so so disappointed to be banned from a platform I used to love after 10 years bc of weird people and employees that are seemingly not able to work in customer success.

I have sold a number of items on Vinted very successfully, but when I came to buy an item unfortunately the seller was dishonest and sold what I can only assume was a counterfeit as the measurements of the item were completely different vs. the manufacturers guide. Despite flagging the issue within 48hrs and sending photos with a tape measure showing the item didn’t measure up I’ve had conflicting and generally unsupportive comms from Vinted despite paying for their ‘Buyers insurance’! I can only conclude that it is a site which allows/condones scams and bad sellers. Will never use again!!
