Vir Ventures Inc.

On Dec. 7th, I ordered an HDMI switcher for AMI Ventures with an expected arrival time of Dec. 12-17, plenty of time ahead of Christmas. Dec. 17th arrives, no switcher. I contact the company and Vir Ventures Inc. tell me arrival is now Dec 24. No good, I reply and ask to cancel the order. They say they can't cancel the order. I ask again to cancel the order, no go. Christmas comes and goes, no switcher. Finally Jan 6th, the switcher arrives. I returned it and several days later I get a refund of $26.92. I spent $39.90 and they refund me $26.92. They didn't deliver when promised and then ding me 30% for their mistake! I can't recommend them

I purchased a bottle of Jadore perfume as a Christmas gift through Wal-Mart from Virventures. The bottle leaked as it has a defective seal. I contacted Virventures within the 30-day return window about the problem. Virventures waited more than 14-days to respond to my email which put it past the 30-day return window and then rejected my return request. Vir Ventures Inc. also refused to respond to a Wal-Mart C/S inquiry. They are horrible... don't purchase from them! Why Wal-Mart keeps them as a Vendor is beyond me...

I ordered an item through Walmart.com who placed the order with VirVentures. I immediately canceled the order both through Walmart and VirVentures. After confirming the order was canceled, the next day Virventures decided to ship the item anyway. The item was never delivered to me by UPS, but Virventures insisted on charging my credit card for the return shipping and a 20% restocking fee. In my opinion, this is FRAUD and Vir Ventures Inc. should be charged with a crime for their behavior. I am also surprised at Walmart for doing business with such a horrible company.

I purchased 2 art canvases on Amazon, sold by Vir Ventures. When the canvases arrived, I was disappointed to see that the edges of the canvas differed from the listing picture (the listing showed the print wrapping continuously around the edge of the canvas, whereas the product I was sent showed a mirror image of the print on the edge of the canvas). I arranged a return through Amazon, and then Vir Ventures tried to charge me a 20% restocking fee. I could understand the restocking fee if this was simply me changing my mind about wanting the art, but it doesn't make sense to charge a restocking fee if Vir Ventures Inc. are sending people items that differ from the listing photographs. I opened a claim with Amazon, and then Vir Ventures lied and said the restocking fee was because I did a bad job packing the items for return (they said I "threw them in the box"), when actually I used the same cushioned wrapping and box that they sent the canvases in.

I expect that Amazon will get me a full refund because they always do things in a stand up way, but I will not ever make another purchase from Vir Ventures.

This is literally the worst company I've ever had the experience to deal with. Vir Ventures Inc. are running a scam! I purchased a TV console for nearly $600 and alerted them immediately when they sent a shipping notice and I saw that they had my address wrong. Cut to four weeks later and the console was delivered to the wrong address. When you call their customer service number you only get a voicemail and no one will call you back. When you email them someone named Marqueze or Steve will send you back a generic email not addressing the issue. After many complaints, I finally got the response saying they wouldn't issue a refund because "they are a small company and it would be a big hit to us." They need 24-48 hours to look into it further. It's now been nearly a month! I have filed a complaint with the BBB and alerted my CC company to their fraud. I am also considering consulting a lawyer. Do not get scammed by Virventures!

Placed an order from Walmart. Had no idea it came from a third party. When the item arrived it was in an Amazon box with invoice showing I overpaid. The item was also opened so I wanted to return it. The agent told me the agents at the border opened it and there should be no issues. I don't believe them, nor would I want something that is opened. After a few weeks of being misled and jumping through various hoops I had my refund processed. Now I am still fighting with them to pay me for returning the product (paid out of pocket as Vir Ventures Inc. said they would reimburse me for that as well). They have indicated they sent it via PayPal, but after speaking to PayPal they don't see anything. Another lie this company gave me. These people are a scam and anyone who gives a good review has never delt with them.

I ordered a water filter system from them on ebay. Vir Ventures Inc. system came and was NOTHING as it was pictured on line. I returned the item. They NEVER credited me back, so I disputed the charge. This was after one month being returned to them, and it cost me $39.99, and the item cost me $143.00, so I had figured it was all done as they received the merchandise back and I had not kept the tracking number for the return.In the dispute, they wrote a letter to paypal saying they were in constant contact with me, and they will not even get in touch with me as I have called them several times with no response! Do not do business with these crooks, they do not show you what they sell, and you can FORGET about getting a refund from them! If I could go below 1 star, it would be negative 5 stars across the board!

Was on eBay finally found the faucet I wanted clicked on it bought it and then all of a sudden a different picture of another faucet came up and it went through I cancelled it immediately and then Vir Ventures Inc. said it was already shipped wouldn't cancel it shifted the box came crushed and opened then they wouldn't take it back ask for a picture and then that wasn't enough they wanted me to open the box so there I would be with an open box and then at that point I couldn't even sell it I told him I wouldn't open the box and it was a lady named Sandra couldn't believe the hassle what a rip

On Nov 1st I purchase a ceiling fan which I thought was a direct purchase from a Walmart. Turns out that it was from this company. In the same hour after reviewing my purchase I realized that I purchased the wrong item. I then contacted Walmart market place and tried to cancel the order. Virventures emailed me the next day (Nov 2nd)saying that I couldn't cancel the order because the item has already been shipped. I got the item delivered to my house. I contacted them and told them that I wanted to return it. Vir Ventures Inc. said I could return it but will be charged a 20% restock fee. Never again will I ever purchase anything from Walmart online or this company!

I would give them no stars if I could. False advertising, liars, theives... pick one. Vir Ventures Inc. advertised a twin low loft bed with the dresser, bookcase and the pull out desk for $177... ive got pics to prove it. I took apart my kid's bed expecting 2 twin low loft beds... i got 2 dressers thats it and they wouldn't fix the problem. They wouldn't send me the beds I ordered and my kids were sleeping on the floor. And I had to fight them tooth and nail to send them back the dressers and get a full refund. But I haven't gotten my refund yet for $377... so we'll see... not counting on it. Worst experience of my life and Amazon wouldn't let me post my review stating the truth about VirVentures.

Terrible shopping experience! Spend your money elsewhere! My first and last experience with Vir Ventures! Problems already before receiving the product, as the shipping weight was too light as noted from delivery tracking information. The wrong product was ultimately confirmed when received (shipping receipt value $12 USD), which consisted of replacement parts for the item originally ordered ($63). Virventures failed to verify the correct item. I immediately started return process on the day of receiving the incorrect product, which resulted in back and forth messaging over 8 days, through the Best Buy.ca website with a virventures representative, of what product I received and a picture of it. Virventures escalated the problem to the manufacturer, and I escalated the problem to Best Buy, by noting virventures was not adhering to their own seller return policy for "**In the event that product is unavailable, you will be refunded within 48 business hours" & virventures offered me a partial and scam-worthy refund of only 50%. When I mentioned this as being fraudulent activity to both virventures and Best Buy, and also with having an extremely negative experience with the authorized marketplace seller, I was refunded quickly 100%. Virventure's seller's page said "Happy Shopping!"... this is the complete opposite of my experience with this company, so... DON'T!

I bought a pair of shin guards for my 12 year old daughter, Vir Ventures Inc. came and they were so small. I got them from Sears.com, I took them back to sears as soon as I got the item and they said it's from a third party and you need to return it to them. I started the return process, they even gave me a phone number. An indian guy with a heavy accent answers all the time and of course he changes his name every time, same idiot of course, I told him I needed a label to return the item, he said we will email you and of course no email, the only emails they would sent would say the item can not be open, which it wasn't. Any ways Sears of course washed their hands and these idiots never helped me with the return. Stay away from these idiots!

Found them through Walmart. Global knives are great. This vendor is NOT. Vir Ventures Inc. did not have the 3 knife set I ordered. Instead of telling me it was out of stock and refunding my money, they sent 2 knives. I figured they had split the order and the 3rd knife was coming. After I opened the shrink-wrap and one of the packages, I realized these were not the knives I ordered! Walmart site said delivery was complete so I knew the vendor did not intend to send a 3rd knife. Contacted vendor and here is the reply We do not have the listed items in our warehouse thats the reason we ended up sending you 2 knives. Who does that? I asked about returning them, here's the reply: We are afraid to inform you that we won't be able to process a refund until we receive an exact item which was delivered to you. Since I opened shrink wrap and one knife package, they are not "exactly" how I received them. Now I have 2 knives I didn't order, one which is a duplicate of a knife I already own. The one thing they did right was send me a return label when I asked for it. I would not recommend buying from this vendor.

I placed an order with this seller through WalMart and found a better price immediately after on Amazon. I tried to cancel the order right away but it required me to message the seller to initiate the return process. I messaged them, no response for several days (breaching the 2 day SLA stated) and Vir Ventures Inc. shipped it anyway. Then I called up to complain, they told me there's nothing they can do and to process a return. I get the item, process return, they have the nerve to charge a 15% restocking fee and make me cover shipping. This is the worst online seller I've dealt with through thousands of purchases. STAY FAR AWAY :(

I wish I could give this unethical company a NEGATIVE 5 star review! My credit card number was stolen and used on the VirVentures website. I saw the fraudulent order right away and contacted VirVentures while it was in the first stage of processing. I was told Vir Ventures Inc. could NOT cancel the order. What a bunch of bullcrap! They know that the banks will give me my money back and also that THEY won't have to give MY money back to the bank for the fraudulent order They ALSO want to charge me a undisclosed amount for "interception charges" AND a 20% re-stocking fee! OMG. I AM LIVID! It's a win-win for them!. I am sure the VirVentures name is well known in the CRIMINAL world as a company that will KNOWINGLY take STOLEN credit card information and turn a blind eye! THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED! DISGUSTING!

Do not buy anything from this company. Vir Ventures Inc. pretended to be working with me and gave me a window to return one of their products (I never even opened the box when I received it). I returned it within their time window (14 days). They received it (I have confirmation from UPS) and then they sent me an email saying they were not going to refund my money (have no idea why not) and for me not to send the product back. I sent them an email stating that they in fact already had the product and they needed to refund my money. They never responded. Walmart backed me up and refunded my money ($160). Walmart is now investigating this company. I hope they no longer have them as a third party marketplace company. Please let Walmart know if you have been scammed by this company. Do not believe any of the 5-star reviews for this company. They are written by people who work at the company (many misspellings and similar phrases in all of the reviews). They are fake. There is no way any real person would rate their experience with this company as 5 star.

This is a great price for a 32GB SanDisk micro SDHC card. All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase. For $10 this 32 GB class 4 micro SDHC card is worth every penny. This is a Class 4 card meaning that it gets the real-world performance of about 4MB sustained write speed, which is what I've experienced with it. If you did check out my profile you may know that I have reviewed a lot of data storage devices.It's because I am a very heavy smartphone & camera user. I have used memory cards of almost every brand and have a good idea about the performance of each.

Placed an order with these guys via Sears.com three weeks ago. I got an email reply two days after I ordered saying Vir Ventures Inc. no longer sold the item and that *I* needed to call and cancel. I called. No answer. Voicemail full. Again. Again. Again. For three weeks, twice a day. Got an email with an alternative phone number. Nobody answers. No response to MULTIPLE voicemails. The only email replies you get are automated and nobody ever responds.
Avoid this company like the plague.

I ordered an item from them through the Walmart website- i ordered a xsmall the sticker on the package says xsmall and the item inside is a medium- i have been fighting with them- the item was $34.00 Vir Ventures Inc. offered me $5.00 back and keep the item i said no- they said then i can pay to return and a 20% restocking fee i said no i want all my money back- this was your mistake- all they keep saying is the same thing- THEY ARE TERRIBLE HORRIBLE DISGUSTING DON"Y EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Bought a 1957 Maisto Car from Sears Marketplace. I received a defective car. Called customer service several times, sent e-mails. Vir Ventures Inc. asked so many questions about the product. Also they requested a picture, that I sent several times. They told me they never received it. This is a crooked company that sells junk from CHINA. I know I'll never see my money back from these fake Americans.

I already reported them to the BBB. BEWARE... STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE INDIAN SCAMMERS!
