Photo depositing
I've had to call customer service numerous times about the photo deposit. I've had MANY problems with them just don't like to deal wit customer service often. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESNT HELP AT ALL, just some rehearsed saying Walmart MoneyCard say to everyone. The 1st couple of times I deposited my check, because I don't want to be out and about with the Corona going on, it's bad enough I have to work in it, it worked with flying colors, this time and the time before has just been stressful and really makes me want to go elsewhere! I actually had to cash the check after trying at least 30 times for them to "read" it and just said forget it. The time after that, now it's going to take "SEVEN" days in order for them to give me money and yet I can't cancel it! It was really outrageous to have to wait 7 days for a check you just waited 7 days for! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! I wouldn't have deposited it if I knew this was going to happen! Very irritate at this point!

Fraud use
Woke up the next morning from ordering from amazon the night before got an email saying my payment didn't go thru so I logged into my account but it wouldn't let me so I called the *******098 number early and Walmart MoneyCard tried to explain to me my card was blocked for fraudulent use I was so confused because all I do is load my card and buy groceries or go shopping nothing unusual so I asked to speak with a manager she said they won't be in until 3 more hours so I called back in exactly 3 hours and tried to talk to a manger or supervisor and they said the supervisors were busy than told me I could use the remaining balance but I can't reload my card or order another Walmart card ever again I have been with walmart money card for years yes I've had to get several different cards because money was being taken out of my account but I honestly thought they were gonna fix things but now this I am livid

Replacement card
Not giving any stars. I reported my card lost on June 4th. I did a chat session and was told it would be 7 to 10 days to receive my new card. I then asked if it's possible to get any funds from account. I use this for direct deposit and was told I can't do anything until my card comes. On June 10th I spoke with someone who said my card hadn't been sent out yet. So 6 days after I reported it still not mailed. Now I'm told I should get it on the 17th. That's two weeks and three weeks pay that I can't access. Thanks a lot. When the card comes I am taking my funds off and direct deposit with my Navy credit union or Chase bank accounts. Totally disgruntled customer I may even stop shopping in store too!

FROZEN ACCOUNT AGAIN ON LESS THAN 1 WEEK
My account was frozen on May 20th. On May 21st it was unfrozen after countless calls to them. I waited multiple times for 2 to 3 hours at a time for someone. When Walmart MoneyCard did get on the phone they hung up, repeated the same line about how sorry they were but couldn't do anything or put me back to the main number to start all over again. The customer service is terrible. Well now it is Tuesday of the following week and my account is frozen once again. Not even 1 week later. I was told I have to wait 2 business days to get into my account. I explained that I sent everything last week and they unfrozen my account and told me I will not have this issue going forward since I confirmed that all my information was infact legitimate. I had to resend it again today and was told that I have wait another 2 buisness days to access my money. This is nuts. I have had this account since August of 2019, have had my paychecks direct deposited into it since then and now nothing but issues. This is insane. My poor daughters 11th birthday was ruined last Thursday because I couldn't get money out to get anything. No food, no gifts, nothing and now I have no food, 5 children in my house and no access to my money to purchase anything. Right now the world is going through a major pandemic and are suffering and I need my money that I work hard for to take care of my children and cannot. This is unexcusable. For the last 6 days, my account was frozen for 3 of them. Each time when I received a direct deposit. I would not have kept this account opened if I thought that this would happen again. I am getting a lawyer, calling the news and suing this company. I have every phone call, voice recordings and proof of about 12 emails that were sent and verified from this company that they received them and could see everything that was sent. So why in the world is it frozen again? Whatever you do, do not use this company. As soon as I have access to my money I am pulling it out, going somewhere else. This company is going to be sorry when they hear from my lawyer about all stress they put me and my family through. Nothing but stress, anxiety, being sick to my stomach, my poor children upset because they know I cannot go food shopping. Two days is a lot without money when you have 5 children and 2 adults to feed and cannot!

After almost 3 yrs " a suspicious transaction " closed and banned me
When I opened my WALMART MONEY CARD and i belived I faxed or emailed my I.D. I don't have a problem I used for my business and deposit $2000 every week. My 3 stimulus check through my direct deposit is awesome. April 9.2021 Harvest LLC, is the Lender for SBA/PPP Loan, I got approved my first draw I got my funds through my direct deposit. I make it short my story after 11 days my funds still there, my card blocked and my account closed, not knowing me and my funds still in my account. Walmart MoneyCard blocked and banned me, I couldn't login to my account, I'm banned. Through C/S representative I couldn't transfer, because they blocked me I feel like I did a CRIME, What I do I Called WALMART the regular Walmart, to someone to help me or call me, Walmart money card C/S 3 of them telling me supervisor will give me a call and they lied, and they know my account has a RED FLAG already and I told them I need my account to fix my loan wil coming soon, to my direct deposit. II ask him if my account freezed my lender will able to used my direct deposit and he answered not all guarantee and I said what do mean? It make me think.
And the nextday I called and I found out aWalmart Money Card rejected my loan, I was passed and really mad. And this is a good one I SPOKE the supervisor, I asked him I want to withraw my money and he answered you cannot withdraw we will returned everything to the depositor. I raised my voice I said what I got approved my loan to the goverment you guys heard about SBA/PPP loan and either he hang up or I got disconnected. I told them there's no suspicious transaction to my account.
Walmartmoney card and crew ruin my loan and wasting my time I'm 57 years old woman I'm too old for their DRAMA I got mild stroke I feel like I did a CRIME, why no one called me or email me or call my attention! I'm so depressed and stressed outand I lost my motivation lost my appetite 11 days and my I. D document they can't verify me they posted when I log in and I said the I. D I uploaded same I. D when I open my WALMART MONEY CARD same I.D. when I filed my loans, same I. D when I apply EDD. Same I. D when I open my WELLS FARGO BANK I don't get it, why did ask me some documents my social security statements, phone bills, my dmv registration. I'm very mad every time I think about my blood pressure. Now there in my account looking any transaction the guy emailed me about all Google transaction I said do you want my Google account I will give to you or just call or email them, I played my games and I know my account there's nothing going... I told them when they done I need all a protocol why my account closed, I need to see a protocol why my loan direct deposit got rejected., and protocol about suspicious transaction. And I want to see a protocol that money on my account is not mine and I want to see a protocol why I'm banned and I want to see a protocol why my card blocked and my account.
I guarantee there's nothing going on with my account. ASSUMING AND ACCUSING

Exceed Walmart Money payroll Card
Had a hotel stay on 10/9/20 where I had two charges my on my card. One for the hotel stay and the other for $115 for a pending deposit. Walmart told me the funds would be credited back to my account after 31 days. Today I spoke with two reps Eva bag#2421003 and then supervisor Heide bag#2420213. Eva told me I was never charged so there is nothing to refund and that Walmart MoneyCard deleted the transaction from my account (Wow- how do you delete history.) I got online with the supervisor who apologized for Eva given me the wrong information and said the money was credited back but I just can't see it. I proceeded by saying, that makes no sense. Why would you credit money back and not post it for me to see? Heidi then advised I would just have to add up all of my transactions to confirm if the $115 was added back to my account. I have used this payroll card since 2013 and have ran into a couple issues but nothing like this one. I'm normally not one to leave a review but the fact that we are in a pandemic and to have a wealthy company like Walmart do business like this and not have a legit explanation as to why is unacceptable and not a company I can continue to support. My account will be closed on Monday after my last deposit. Please see photos below.

Unauthorized ATM withdrawal
I have had the Walmart MoneyCard for almost 4 years and until this weekend I would have recommended it. Apparently, my card was compromised and a $200 unauthorized ATM withdrawal was made. I called the next morning to dispute the charge. The next day I received an email stating that after a "thorough investigation" my dispute was denied. I again called to obtain the specifics and was told I would need to place another dispute as the first was auto generated. I was given a case # and told if it would take more than 10 days I would receive a provisional refund. I was also told that I would need to prove where I was when the charges were placed. Since this took place on the WE and we are in a pandemic, there is no way for me to prove anything. I again received an e-mail stating that after thoroughly investigating my dispute was denied. I made 8 calls to speak with someone for help and was either hung up on, left on hold or call was dropped during transfer. Funny that the withdrawal was supposedly made at 12am however the establishment with the ATM is closed at that time. No one, including myself, could have used that ATM at that time. DON'T GET A WALMART MONEYCARD, plain and simple.

Not good for certain international transactions
I've had the Walmart MoneyCard for about a year and I mostly use it for online purchases; it feels safer to me than using my credit or debit card for internet transactions. I had used it without any issues until I tried to order something from an international vendor based in Australia. My transaction got declined multiple times despite repeated attempts by phone and chat with Walmart MoneyCard representatives to have the problem fixed. Every time I would be told that a case report was made and that I should try to make the purchase again in an hour. I'd do that, only to find that I was still being declined. Finally a representative informed me that Walmart MoneyCard limit or altogether block international transactions based on country or merchant to protect customers from fraudulent activity. Okay, but if I'm telling them that I want to use the money in MY card to do business with a certain merchant and it's not an illegal item, why do they think they still have to protect me? It's my money! I had last loaded a specific amount into my card precisely to make the purchase with this vendor, and now I find out I can't. I think it's ridiculous that they get to decide for customers where and how they are allowed to make purchases.

Stole my money
WalMart green dot money card stole $896 from me. ATM malfunctioned and didn't dispense any money said approved then the ATM completely shut off while NOT dispensing anything, so I sat there for 20 min it came back on I hoped it would dispense my money but it said offline then out of order whole time it never dispensed any money but still charged me $800 plus ATM fees I called the ATM phone number and Walmart MoneyCard said they see it and all I can do is call my card holder to dispute it, and so I tried to dispute it and they said oh we found no errors. Like watch the damn video on the ATM see that no money was dispensed or even the 100's of cameras in the mall it was in or see that the ATM went offline and malfunctioned!?!? Now my balance is $896 dollars but I don't get to access the funds because they denied my dispute. STAY FAR AWAY!

Walmart money (Headache) Card
So I looked up online for pre paid cards and Green Dot came up as a well recommended card for use. Well I purchased two cards on the 26th of Dec,$500.00 on each card. The first one went as planned was able to set up my acct and use. Two days later on the 29th I decided to activate the other card, well here we go so after trying multiple times to activate card it said that I had to enter valid card info. After driving back to the Hartford Ct Walmart and dealing with the attitude of Victoria the manager in charge who should play NBA basketball cause her spin around juke move is definitely NBA status. Then since no one at the money center (where I purchased the card) could be of any help. I then had to go online to trace down a live agent at green dot, who then after going back and forth told me that there was a problem with my card number (wow you mean the same thing ive been saying for two days). Then to make it all better Walmart MoneyCard informed me that it would take them 2 weeks to issue me a refund check, no way to just fix it in the system I'm just screwed SMH. So thank you Walmart and green dot for tying up a working guys money on new years eve. I also just wanted to suggest that you get some live people on the phones and less rude people at Walmart. I guess when all you do is turn up your nose at the customers that pay your paycheck you just get used to doing it to everyone that walks through the door.

Side with the Scammers rather than their customers!
Concerning the Walmart Mastercard, I was scammed by a notorious and well known fraudulent site. I'm not gullible or a newbie to online shopping, but these scammers bounced a supposed $1 signup around a few international servers until it ended up on a totally irrelevant gaming site, that automatically debited you with $400! The scammers are Zuuvu. Head office in Panama.

Malwarebytes, a trusted anti-malware developer had posted an article regarding this exact scam. I contacted Walmartfinancialservices fraud dept. literally a few minutes of my realizing what happened to put a freeze on that charge.

Long story short, after numerous phone calls and presenting them with all kinds of indisputable evidence (including the article from Malwarebytes), Walmart MoneyCard chose to take a hard stance and simply refused to budge. They wouldn't help me, to the point where I requested that they cancel my credit card. I am on income support and I sent them written proof of this, yet they still put me in collections.

Awful, ruthless company that will NOT protect their clients/subscribers!

This card sucks
This card is the worst ever. I had my pay deposited to my account and the same day someone got my information. Walmart MoneyCard charged over 1000$ online for puchases and I was getting notifications for purchases, nevertheless I was calling customer service while they were draining my account. It took forever to get a representative and when I finally did, the issues were not resolved. They told me I had to wait until the charges post and then I could file a dispute. It could take up to 14 days just to post. Then, they put in for another card, but the charges didn't post yet. So, when I called back days later to file the dispute after the charges posted and they put in for another card, I didn't even get the first card. In the meantime, you don't have access to none of your money to pay bills. The customer service sucks and I can barely understand the representative. I'm about to get paid again and I still haven't gotten my card or any of my money back yet. If somebody gets your information and start using your card, then the procedure to file a claim is way too long and the customer service representative don't know what they are doing. As soon as I get some of my money back or some money, I'm throwing my Walmart money card away and getting another account somewhere else. Don't get a direct deposit to a Walmart money card. You have been warned, this card will have you miss paying your bills and it's too much hassle to go through to get satisfaction. I'm still waiting for my card to come and to hear back about when or if I will get my money back. Walmart should have a better card and system than this. The customer service sucks for this card too.

If you dont want your money then uses this debit card.
My direct deposit posted to my account on 1/24/2020 as of today the 29th no access to my funds due to mo fault of my own. My account had 3 HSN payments to go through which was my Christmas purchases and Walmart MoneyCard reviewed it as fraudulent and deactivated my card. The reason I know this is I have worked with private label credit cards (bank cards); and this was the only transaction that took place on my account before the deactivation. Now, when I calledc the reps. They Could not answer any of my questions and I was denied the option of speaking with a supervisor. When I shared my knowledge with them: they would then put me in the que or list simply hang up in my face.
My daughter had an apportionment with a specialist because she is a dialysis patient and also diabetic and I Expressed the urgency of me needing my funds we where traveling 2 and a half hours away from home. And all I got was you have to wait for your replacement cards to arrive in the mail 7 to 10 business days which is basically 2 weeks. This is consumer abuse. I have contacted the federal trade commission and next will be BBB and l am going to keep going until I am something is done. FYI: when you call it is best to write down the name of who you spoke with and the options you was provided. Which will be nothing... I did get a call back which was suppose to be with I. 4 hours and in turn into over 12 hours

Just imagine getting paid once a month from your job and then not having access to your money... which is the first check after the xmas hoildays with no extra cash and no food, no gas for your car, not able to pay you utilities... well this is what has happen to me and I they said was I am sorry which will not feed my kids, or pay my utilities... if I could I would give no stars.

NEVER AGAIN
I finally noticed unfamiliar charges, and actually looked back over the previous months and noticed many many unfamilar charges and definitly my fault for not watching the charges more closely. Be aware that if you are out of town and report unfamilar charges on your walmart reloadable money card and all your money is on that card that you will be left stranded! You will be charged for a card replacement which you will never recieve! You will be locked out of ever being able to reach the call customer service call line which is *******098 because your current card was made inactive! You customers out there should know that that 1800 number will not let you access customer service when your existing cancelled fraud charge card number is typed in. Yes you will be able to log in to your account! But that is it. Good luck to anyone trying getting your money off that card!
Yes, I found someone to get me home. 3 weeks later there is still no card replacement in the mail! What do people do to get a hold of anyone at customer service WalmartMoneyCard people?! How does anyone ever get access to their own money after their card is cancelled because of fraud reports and your company never sends a new card? How many others out there have the same issues? Your customer service is no service at all.

Sorry I've had this card for over 3 years, you can't cash checks from the mobile app until Walmart MoneyCard get around to unlocking this feature which takes months at a time until you rack up anuff purchases and deposits. You can't cash checks at any bank like they tell you time and time again, but you could try the atm and hope your money goes to your account from what ever out of network Bank AFTER YOU SIGN THE BACK OF YOUR CHECK AND DROP IT IN THE LITTLE SLOT, YOU MIGHT NEVER SEE THE MONEY AGAIN as I was escorted out of THE INSIDE OF NUMEROUS BANKS that are visa affiliated banks with the manager telling me to not come back unless you have a account with us while in hand on speaker phone I had walmart money card service manager saying its OK to cash this customers check and the 5 or 7 different banks ive tried said no way.Ive thought about getting a lawyer for this mistake from eather companies. Checks are a fee to order and you only get a few checks in the mail to use.The customer support is trash.ive spent well over 24 hours of waiting and chatting and its like they are children that don't wanna work and you can't even understand nothing they are saying.Its absolutely bad service.If you have a card with money on it then you can use it to buy online and in store but wait until you need help with refunds or what ever else that day to day use will bring from using a card for peaches. I give customer service a negative 5 stars and the safety of your money a 2 star as ive had some one purchase gas from another state away some how while my car was in my pocket but got my money back months later after they did a investigation. Once again, customer service is bad.my best bet is to call over and over until one answers that can speak close to the mic and knows a few English words, you may have to wait through the pre recordings but its the only way to get help, There isn't any other way.im 36 year old adult male with 2 jobs and wouldn't stear no one in the wrong direction purposely.

They blocked my card without notification
So I recently got a refund from my dental company because my insurance paid the whole thing for me. Walmart money card blocked my card for a refund I was entitled to and didn't even notify me Walmart MoneyCard were doing so. I am in the process of buying a house and they are sending my funds back which is delaying the process because they didn't have the decency to just call me and confirm why I got the refund. Which I think it is stupid to block my card without notification and now I can't access my funds. They have me waiting so say 48 hours for the case to be resolved. Holding up my funds which is bad business. Yall need new procedures put in place where it doesn't block the use of people funds when money is already limited due to covid

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!
If there was a zero, I would give a zero for this card. This card was given to me as gift card, I used the balance then Walmart MoneyCard charged a monthly fee, leaving a negative balance on the card. I attempted to call and checked the website to cancel the card no options! Reported the card lost in an effort to cancel the card, and requested that no replacement card be sent, a couple of days later a new card was received in the mail and a $3.00 fee was charged. Several calls were made there is no option to ever talk to a representative. IF YOU DO NOT NEED THIS CARD I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT PURCHASE IT.

Terrible Card!
We've had this card for years, and by years I mean a really long time. Recently, my boyfriends card expired and he never received a new one no matter how much we called he never got one so we switched it to my card because we've never had issues with that in the past depositing to each others accounts. This time I don't know what happened but Walmart MoneyCard BLOCKED my card because of it. I call to figure out what I need to do they tell me so I submit it the normal way I do when I send them documents and they tell me it'll take two days to unblock. Call back in two days and they can't unblock it because they can't open the files which it's bull crap. So I resend them the documents but in picture form like requested and wait two more days. Then I call back and they STILL can't unblock it because the items were scanned and not photoed which they never told me I had to do and all in which I can't pay my rent, I can't feed my kids or get gas because of them. So ONCE AGAIN I resubmitted the documents in picture form and the pay stub my boyfriends work sent was screenshotted because I had no printer I sent them again. I call today only to have them tell me cause this one document wasn't taken a picture up I'll have to once again send it. I feel like they're just adding to the list of what I need to do once I do it. I asked them to just send it back to his employeer and they said sure but it'll take 10 days. TEN WHOLE FREAKING DAYS. I'm so so disgusted by their service because each time I asked how I needed to submit these documents and I was never told how until after I waited the two days when I sent them. Im repulsed by their service and how little they seem to care about how this blocking has affected us. I'll NEVER EVER use this card again.

Most likely a scam
I received one of these in the mail yesterday. I figured it was a scam. How did I know? I received a similar card from a different company and did research on them via the internet, just like I did for this Green Dot Wal-Mart card. The word "scam" popped up way too many times in my Google searches. Also, usually cards associated with banks come with pages and pages of fine print. This one did not. The accompanying letter only asks for personal information and lists a bunch of (baloney) benefits. All these scammers want is your personal info in order to bleed your government benefits/paychecks dry.

It's thoroughly disgusting how many "people" out there are ready to take advantage of others' desperation during this COVID pandemic. Hoping there is a special place in Hell for these slimeballs.
