I looked on the website under warranty information and it was fairly shocking. Without quoting it directly it basically said they wanted their products but they will not cover people who are asking for frivolous claims. This was right in their warranty information. Judging from what my experience was they seem to think that all claims are frivolous. God forbid there should be something wrong with their product. I don't mind paying for things but when I pay a premium price I expect a premium product with fairly friendly customer service. From my experience their service is not very good. In all fairness the mats are really nice and they for the most part fit pretty good.
The materials are high high quality that last and stand up to years of abuse. The mats and liners are laser cut to the specifications of your make, model, and year of vehicle -- and that is how you order based on those criteria. Different colors available to match or contrast interiors.
The fit is absolutely amazing! The newest mats and liner we received go all the way to the door so you don't get rain/snow/slush/mud on the car carpet. The cargo liner is a requirement for our family and we order it the same day we purchase our vehicles!
Though I shouldn't say -- our local very-high-end-dealer sells Weathertech mats from their parts department because WeatherTech are so much better than what the car manufacturer makes.
We've ordered 7 sets of mats and liners over the years and all have been extraordinarily easy orders. Phone support has been helpful and friendly.
I'm NOT promising anything of their service but we ordered our 3rd set of mats/liners in a year and didn't like the color -- all we wanted to do was exchange them and make it quite clear this was our mistake and not theirs. They did the exchange for free and thanked us for being such loyal long term customers!
100% recommend products and service!
Exact quote from second rep: "unfortunately, the only other thing we can recommend is making sure the screw is firmly in the teardrop area of the black bar, and using zip ties can help as well." He went on to say "[w]e are still waiting for a new part that is going to help with the issue, but we haven't gotten information as to when it will be available... if you want to keep the barrier, I ca add you to the list and send the new part when it is available."
This, from a company that proclaims on its website "our customers are our number one priority" and "we will do whatever we can to make sure our customers are happy for a lifetime."
Right.
The application is a 2014 Toyota RAV4 with 2 cup holders. Both are in horrible positions to look at the phone even when at idle. My issue is that the extension arm was tightened to the point of breaking the wheel off where it meets the cup. It held the phone still until you touched the screen or hit the home button. It slowly sank down. I politely suggest you go back to the drawing board. For the $50 it was not at all what I expected. I wouldn't take it if you gave it to me for free as it did not work. Weathertech customer service promptly gave me an RMA.
For the RAV4 the only thing that would work besides the suction cup on the windshield would be the vent clip. But that would need some reinforcing and modifications made to the clip that hold the vent louvers.
After reading other reviews I see that others said their box was in bad condition. Mine also.
