I placed an order on April 30,2021. WomanWithin sent me part of the order on May 15th. The other item was on back order, and they sent it earlier than expected. I returned one item that I did not like on June 11th. I sent something back to L. L. Bean the same day and got my refund promptly. Today I called Woman Within about my returned item and got through to a person by pressing "0" on the phone. A courteous young man tracked my order and said they received it on June 18th. Their website is very poor about giving you any details. Even though I had enclosed the return form indicating that I wanted a refund, apparently they had not processed it for a refund. Duh... So, he sent the information in to process a refund for the item. He said it will take 3-5 business days for them to process it. I plan to call back to find out if they actually did it. I have ordered things over the years and returned things, and it wasn't problematic. Service has gone dramatically downhill now. It takes a long time to get your order, but the catalogs keep arriving regularly in the mail. They have a disclaimer on the website when you place your order that it may take longer than usual to get your order due to COVID-19.

Good experience
I feel bad for those who had a bad experience(s) with 'Woman Within'.

I recently ordered 2 tunic-tops on clearance, and this included a free 50"x60" cotton throw-quilt.

As one lady pointed out here, the material is not quite as quality as Roamans - which I've ordered similar tops from and WomanWithin are softer, printed t-shirt-like material.

WW tunics are a little 'stiffer' printed material. I'm thinking they will soften up after a few washings? I ordered XL and both tops are a little big! Another slight difference from Roamans - their XL tunics fit just right. WW XL seems more like XXL - but again I'm ok with that.

I never put my tunics in the dryer - but I might do a little test to see if my WW tunics will shrink a tad. No biggie. Better loose than too tight!

I love the prints on both the tops I got, and the quilt is VERY nice! It's just a thin little lap quilt, perfect for a spring or fall day. It's very soft & would make a perfect little baby quilt!

The items came within about 3 days of ordering them!
I was so surprised how quickly they arrived!
And I really got a great deal - all 3 items for just over $40!

Never again!
I ordered a nightgown for my mother in law two weeks before mother's day, it came about a week before Mother's Day; I ordered a 3X, the package said 3X but what WomanWithin sent was a 5X!

So, I called and they apologized and asked if they could send me the right order and I said only if it will come by that Thursday because that's when we would be heading home to see her. They promised me it would be there no problem I wouldn't be charged but on my bank account they had charged me 19.99 for fast shipping! Thursday comes and no package so I decided that we would leave Friday instead so that I could receive the package then. Friday comes and NO package. I called and the customer service rep says that it never was sent and the sales department had no way to contact me but every time I've been on the phone with someone, they have repeated my number back and my phone number is on my invoice! She transfers me to sales because she doesn't know why they didn't send it, all the while her customer service was AWFUL! That line kept saying they were closed but it was well within two hours of them closing so I left a message for them to call me back and of course to this day I have never received a call back. It's been a little over a week and a half after I have returned the package and I still haven't received a refund. This company absolutely disgust me and I'll never in my life make a purchase from this company again!

Very bad customer service
I have been a customer for over 10 years. I placed an order for a jacket on October 26.! Needless to say I just received it today Friday December 18th. I previously called customer service to inquire why I have not received my jacket. When I ordered it, it said it was available for delivery. Then I was told it was on backorder. So when I did talk to someone in customer service. The supervisor informed me that if I wasn't happy in other words I could take my business somewhere else? Wow that is really poor customer service.! So I called back again and I asked to talk to a corporate manager and I was given the runaround. I was told that somebody would get back in touch with me and nobody ever did. To me it is pretty sad oh, that if you have a customer that is always ordered from you. Why would you want to lose them as a customer? Woman Within shame on you...! I have never been treated so bad in my life. You are my first priority when I placed all my orders for anything I needed to do with clothes. Make me sad that you train your customer service to be so mean and ignorant to the customers. Hanging up on a customer trying to find out information is very rude. I just hope you take your policy and I hope you change your customer services attitudes! It's sad if you lose customers because everybody's so rude that works for you...
A very unhappy customer

Beware!
Ugh - another bad experience ordering from WW. Here are my issues this time: I have an account, from which I placed my order. Nonetheless, my order wasn't listed there for tracking. When I inquired with customer service, their solution was to tell me to look up my order in my account. Hmmm, yeah I just told you that doesn't work... A few of the items I ordered were backordered with an estimated ship date. These dates were not accurate and many of my items shipped over a month past the estimated ship date. One item was cancelled because "we're not able to hold the item longer than 29 days." Hmmm, I'd like to have the item sooner too... Finally, when I received these jeans and found them to not fit, I sent them back for a refund. Today, I have received them back from WW, with a note that WomanWithin cannot accept worn or damaged items. Hmmm, I literally tried these on in my home, found them to be both low quality and ill fitting and put them right back in the bag. Not worn and not damaged. But WW felt the need to pay for shipping for these $16 jeans THREE WAYS instead of just giving me the refund I was owed. No wonder WW's parent company is going bankrupt. There are limited options for those of us who wear plus size clothes, so while I'd love to say I'LL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN, you've sort of got me by the balls, so to speak. Beware, ladies.

Their very trifling!
I was a employee at full beauty... And my job was so disgusting... The clothes you all are ordering are clothes that are already worn(most of their products)... I was in the area where we would open packages inspect the clothing and rebag them to be put back on the shelves to be resent out when someone else orders them... WomanWithin DO NOT wash or sanitize or clean any of the clothing unless it needs it... How we were trained to clean the clothes was with a lint roller for only if we seen hair, cat hair or etc... Its been clothes sent back that were soiled with bodily fluids and etc... I left the job because I felt that their very dishonest with customers having you all buying clothes that you all don't even know if you getting anything clean new... Then their charging their customers high prices for used clothes... Now don't get me wrong some things are new and haven't been open but majority of their clothing is already worn... If you all really only knew what I seen as an employee working in the returns department you all would not purchase from their website which consist of Women Within, Big King, Lane Bryant Roman's and etc... I just want to be honest and let people know that your paying all this money for clothes people wear and their never washed or dry clean unless the feels it needs to be... I know i would hate to be dooped out of my hard earn money buying clothes yhat im thinking are or anything dis honest and I know as the honest person I am that you guys are not getting quality clothing... It just kills me deep down inside that the customers really don't know how nasty the clothes are that their ordering... Even the swimsuits al we do for those is put new liners in the seat part refold them and package them... Its people that even try on the underwear and return them because they don't fit... In order for you to get the correct size you would have to try them on... Its just so disgusting to know that their shipping g dirty clothes to the customers

Very shoddy practices
On the 4th of Dec I ordered an item from Woman Within for a birthday present on the 15th of Dec. I never got a receipt from the company, I only have my PayPal receipt.

By the 11th I was getting nervous so I wrote customer service. I provided my PayPal invoice and transaction numbers. Today on the 12th I got a reply saying "In checking our records, we don't show an order for you." and the suggestion that I could re-order.

I called and waited 15 minutes to speak to someone. WomanWithin were able to find me via my email address (that was also provided in my previous email) The customer service person said that the item was mailed on the 5th and wouldn't arrive until the 16th of Dec. I asked why does shipping take 9 days (not including Sunday's) I was told that was "FedEx's schedule" I then asked if a tracking/receipt would now be sent to my email and was promptly hung up on.

This is the worst kind of customer service. This company has lost my business and that of anyone I can share this story with. The item will arrive late for the birthday also so that is ruined as it's too late to reorder from someplace else.

This couldn't be more disappointing. I highly suggest avoiding this company.

Nice-ish clothes, absolutely terrible service
I have placed several orders with Woman Within over the past couple of years, and every time I swear it will be my last. The clothes are nice - sort of. I order them for my mom (in her 70s) and for myself to wear at home. The prices are not cheap, but reasonable enough. However, their service is abominable. Every single time, the order just sits unshipped for at least a week and sometimes longer. Last summer, I ordered a t-shirt that never shipped. After three months of delays, WomanWithin sent me an email that the item was no longer in stock. I swore I wouldn't order from them again. Sucker me. In November, something nice came up on sale, and I ordered it. Again, delay after delay, after delay came up. By the time they told me it would (hopefully) ship in mid-February, I no longer needed the item since winter would be over by the time it arrived, and it was a cold-weather item. I had to cancel the order. And again, I fell for the "save X amount" promos from them and ordered something for my mother's birthday. That was a week ago. The order has not yet shipped. It may or may not make it by the time my mother's birthday comes, but this is the last straw. You can get orders shipped faster from an overseas-online-only companies than from this Indiana-based company. I could have ordered a similar item for the same price from Lands End, and I would be in the mail by now. Woman Within is not reliable.

Doesn't seem a legitimate company
My wife ordered a swimsuit on Woman Within's website on 4/15/21. My bank account said payment pending for a week then the payment was deposited back into my account. We called WW and was told the order hadn't been processed and WomanWithin didn't know why the card was charged. The rep on the phone also had no time frame as to when the order would be processed.
Fast forward to today 4/28/21, I called this afternoon for my wife and spoke with another rep that said the order still had not been processed and they didn't know when it would. So this evening, still 4/28, my wife called Woman Within to cancel the order and this rep stated they couldn't cancel the order as it's been processed. When she asked to talk to a supervisor she was transferred to a " resolution manager " who didn't resolve anything. Apparently once an order is in process they can't stop it, even though it's allegedly still not been shipped. Yet they said they could flag it for a return. So they don't have a problem paying for return shipping but not cancelling the order before it ships. Sounds like a bogus scam of a company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Beware their fake "rewards program"
Beware of their fake "rewards program." I recently saw that I was getting repeated charges of $14.95 on my credit card from Woman Within. When I checked my order history there are 12 "orders" in this amount with no information as to what the orders are. When I contacted customer service, WomanWithin immediately said "oh that's the rewards program you signed up for with your last order." I did not sign up for anything, and there is nothing in my last order confirmation indicating that I may have accidentally clicked on something that would have signed me up. When I was transferred to a supervisor I was told that after I placed my WW order, I would have received an email with a link to a company called "Clarus" and I would have had to follow the link and provide my payment information to register for the rewards program. I am pretty sure I would have been aware that I was doing that! Neither Woman Within rep could tell me anything about the rewards program and there is nothing about it on their website (it's not the rewards you earn for using their credit card.) And yet the charges come from Woman Within and both reps claimed to be able to see that I had signed up for it. However they refuse to send me proof that I signed up for anything. It's either a huge error on Woman Within's part that they refuse to acknowledge or it's a scam.

After working hard to lose a significant amount of...
After working hard to lose a significant amount of weight, I decided to reward myself with some new clothes. I had been getting catalogs from the Woman within site and WomanWithin seemed to have some good deals and offered a discount if you signed up for their credit card. Since my husband and I are trying to sell/purchase a new home I went for it and got their credit line. On my first order they sent out my package with 15 items in it. The package was poorly packed, they tossed everything in a plastic bag. In turn it allowed someone working for FEDEX to open said bag easily and ripoff half of my order. I had purchased two of every item (or more) and at least one of everything went missing. I do have to say the items I did get were nice and fit well, but after dealing with the company I did finally get the missing items refunded, But I felt highly violated because of their poor packing practices for such large orders... and after many rude, unresponsive calls and emails I was done with them. I then in turn filed a complaint with FEDEX and they did nothing of course. They did ask for me to get a letter from the seller to confirm the missing items and Woman within refused to acknowledge my request by giving me the letter I needed for my other claim. Here is just one their responses:
"As the previous associate mentioned you have already been given credit for the missing order. This claim is now closed since you have already been refunded."
They all were pretty much the same. I would suggest steering clear of this site. The did not provide good service/packaging or customer satisfaction. All though I did get part of my money refunded, after all the hassle, rude CS people and just flat out stress of dealing with this, I will not shop there again, even if I did like their clothes. One thing the could have done to make this better... they could have at least replaced the free gift I was suppose to get, that also got stolen.

Good and bad, what you should know
Just found this site in the past year. Now mind you, Im big, and tall. I NEVER thought I'd find jeans that fit me again. Gave up on it actually. But wow, WomanWithin have them. If your 5'11 and a plus size, this site is something you should check out.
Be careful though, they tend to run BIG on sizes. It's worth it the first time to get on chat and have them assist you in finding your size the first time. Save on returning it.

I did read many people complain about cheap material. Well I've been buying stretch denim. The nature of this particular material is that it's thin and doesn't last as long as say a good old fashion pair of levis did. It is what it is. If you want stretch denim, it will be thin and wear out fairly fast. Count on that.

Now for the bad. Returns are horrible.
First of all, if you used a coupon code, (and they have tons of them all the time, just get on their email list and wait for a good one before you buy.)
Anyway you better SAVE the code you used. Because how they do returns is to first get the item back. Then it takes WEEKS for them to process. They will refund the price. It's up to you to reorder. And chances are, by the time this happens your size, or color will be out of stock. But if you used a discount coupon, contact them, give them that same code, and even if it's expired, they can apply it if it's a replacement for something you returned. Now it would make more sense if they just sent a replacement, but I've tried that several times now and it just never works. THey refund, you reorder.
If you want to save time, reorder right away. Again get someone on the phone so you can get the same price. You'll have to pay for the items again, be credited weeks later after they get the returned ones. Kind of a pain but if in a hurry this helps.

I would suggest you first CALL customer service. If a mix up is on their end, (I so far got the wrong item twice, wrong color once, wrong size once my fault once theirs.)
If it's on them they will wave the return fee. If you made a mistake, some nearly 8.00 will be deducted from your credit. So again, it's best to nail down the right size first. They have always been very helpful either on chat or over the phone.

Lastly, I had an issue with one style of pants. Already have 4 pair that are fine but 2 colors simply didn't fit. Same pants, same size. However, the waist band on these would not stretch. Stretch pants with a ridged waist. I got a lady in customer service who was very interested in this. Wrote down every word. Then she said they have had many come back. My details on the problem being the waist seemed to be important to her. Seems they have several manufacturers making the same item. And clearly there is a problem. She said give it a month or so and hopefully this gets fixed.

See? It really does do some good to contact companies. Sometimes they really do care and can fix things. This one seems to fit in that list.

E-Gift Card Processing Time
I ordered an e-gift card on 3/19/19 for my grandmother's birthday. I checked my email this afternoon (3/20/19), no e-gift card. Instead, I received a phone call from Woman's Within customer service department wanting to verify my purchase "for my protection".

I waited a few hours thinking that I would receive the e-gift card since I had verified my purchase, but still no e-gift card.

I finally called customer service and spoke to 2 people who told me that e-gift cards take 24-36 hours to process - for AN EMAIL to process! I asked the second person I spoke to if I could speak to someone else who would be able to assure me that I would receive the e-gift card in time for my grandmother's birthday.

She said she would let me speak to a supervisor and then placed me on hold. When she came back, she said that no one else would speak to me and just said, again, that it would take 24-36 hours to process.

This 24-36 hour processing time was not communicated to me during the checkout process. If it had been, I wouldn't have bothered ordering the gift card fearing that I would be cutting it too close to my grandmother's birthday.

I will never order anything from this company again!

Order shipping delays!
I placed an order for Woman Within on May 9,2021. Today 5/19/21, the Women Within site shows the order has not processed yet. I called Customer Service, spoke to Nicole who said the order has not processed and probably won't ship until next week (week of May24,2021). Her explaination was that there was a huge increase in orders and WomanWithin were backed up. When I asked if the order could be expedited, she said "NO!" I responded that this would affect my ordering from Women Within in the future. Why would I order from a company which can not process and ship an order within a week?

Strictly casual, so-so quality
I've bought from Woman Within several times over the years. This site offers mostly casual clothing in women's plus sizes.

Cons: Their shipping is on the slow side. Count on at least two weeks from order to delivery. Skip the rush delivery fee - it will only shave off a couple of days from that.

The quality is hit and miss. Don't buy anything from this site expecting haute couture. It's low-end fabrics and styles. I tend to order a size bigger than their size matrix claims. Count on any cotton blend drawing up in the wash. I bought a pair of their "Seven Day" knit pants which arrived a good four inches too long for me. After a couple of washes, WomanWithin were at least two inches too short. To be fair, that's the only item I received where it drew up so drastically, but most cottons and cotton blends do draw up when washed.

Fit can be awkward. From my experience, the waistlines are ALWAYS cut too short. When they draw up, it exacerbates the issue, sometimes to the point a garment is nearly unusable.

Other reviews mentioned sizing. Their sizing is NOT the same as at a regular store. In most stores I wear a 3x or possibly a 4x. In Woman Within sizing, that translates to a 1x or 2x. Read their size descriptions before ordering and you'll avoid a lot of issues.

Pros: Shoes I've bought from Woman Within are usually a good buy. Most of their shoe sizing is consistent, and the quality is better. As with the clothing, you won't find high fashion here, but their shoes tend to be comfortable and well-made. They carry some brand names like Hush Puppies, I like their house brand, Comfortview, though they tend to be stiff and need to be broken in.

I've only returned one item - a pair of shoes before I pinned down my size with them. I had to pay to ship for returns, which made me debate whether to even bother.

I DO love their Seven Day brand skirts. They're comfortable and long enough (even after shrinkage) I don't hold my breath if I have to bend over. I work from home so don't need something super dressy. I also like their "Perfect Tee Shirt" line. It's not the softest fabric, but it's also not see-through. Their tunic-length tee collection doesn't seem to draw up much if any.

Always use coupons, and be aware coupons only apply to their house brand. Their pricing is inconsistent - some items are priced well for the quality, some ridiculously high.

Worst Customer Service EVER!
Im not the type of person that leaves a negative review because you dont know if there's more in the background affecting the person you speak with (empathy) but yesterday Tuesday 1/28/2020 around 5pm I decided to called WW Customer Service because after never received my original order on time WomanWithin sent me a new pkg that I decided to exchange by following the instructions on my invoice BUT they have decided to send me exactly the same I returned and the reason VICTOR gave me was because I needed to call to place an exchange if it was an original internet order that if I follow the instructions on my invoice the colors on the catalog and online are different so because WH couldn't understand they send me the same? First, wherein the instructions for an exchange it says that? VICTOR just told me that I needed to call and omit the instructions, Like if I know? They are really good to charge you right away and return your money with delay and when the error is on their side because again I follow the instructions for my exchange just like the back of m invoice said but guess what apparently the WH for online order and the WH for catalog orders are different and the system doesnt communicate so US the customer have to learn that the hard way... so here I am, still waiting for my order (I placed at the begining of December) and when I receive it, it will be wrong so I will have to go through the exchange process all over again knowing now that I have to call and not follow the instructions in the back of my invoice, This is not fair because the only solution LIZZY (Victor's Supervisor) gave me was to place a new order, meaning charge me again and then wait to receive my product and return it (being change with $8.99 for returns) to get my money back and be able to get my products faster... UNBELIEVABLE! VICTOR even told me in one moment that he wasn't there to argue that "it is what it is" and that's I needed to decide what to do.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, I'm going to wait until I receive my product because I have to then go thru the exchange process again and NEVER EVER order anything from WW, I like the product and the quality but if this is the cost for when I need help and support HELL NO!

Still not shipped...
I placed my order on May 1st, 2021. I called customer service (on hold for 30 min. Then I spent another 1 1/2 hours on hold for a supervisor) two weeks after because it said it was still not shipped. WomanWithin said I was expected to receive my order by May 23rd. It came and went. I called customer service again. They refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Assured me that my order would ship out Monday. I hung up and called again. This time, I got a supervisor (supposedly and another hour wait time) who said the previous representatives lied to me as they have no way of knowing when something will ship. I asked to speak to the supervisor's supervisor. They refused and said we will have one call me back. To my surprise, the next day, one did call me back. He apologized for the representatives that had lied previously. He assured me that my order was due to ship out this past week. Here we are 30 days after placing the order. Order status currently: order not shipped. Like others, I order for Mother's Day and a birthday that have both came and went! I had to spend other money to buy alternative gifts as, like everyone else, they are holding my $229 while "processing." I may be a little more fortunate than others as I paid through paypal. If they don't ship within a certain amount of time, they cancel the order.

IN STOCK, but then BACK-ORDERED?
I ordered a bra and some underwear, and ALL were in stock when I placed my order on-line, but then WomanWithin back-ordered my bra another 3 weeks. It had already been 3 weeks. The underwear came, and fit fine, but I REALLY needed the bra. I was not willing to wait another 3 weeks and more for one silly bra. It is not right to list something IN STOCK, when I am placing an order on-line, but then back order part of the order. It was an order for over $100.00 too. Their underwear was rather expensive, but then, so was the bra. It took over 3 weeks just to get the underwear. I wasn't going to wait the rest of my life, to get the bra. IT WAS RUDE, so I cancelled the bra. I will go elsewhere from now on. They did refund the money on the bra which is why they got the 3rd star. If something is NOT in stock, it should NOT be listed as "in stock"! :( Also, do not EVER give them your e-mail address, for they will FLOOD your e-mail with advertisements.

Update: After cancelling the bra, they charged me again for the same bra. What an expensive bra! :( They double-charged me for an item that I cancelled! Not only am I NOT getting the bra, but another $24.00 was taken off my debit card. So, basically they STOLE $48.00 from me---and this is after cancelling the bra. I am soooo angry that I could spit nails.

Do not purchase any items from this company
Poor quality it's quite the scam WomanWithin have going on... They offer you all these promo codes for all these name brands. There are no name brands everything's made in China. It's extremely poor quality Sweatshop material... So if you don't like it guess what you have to spend 7:50 to send it back and they change their prices on a daily basis so now you're going to get whatever discounted price they have now even though you receive will clearly show you paid full price for overpriced crap... So basically in all reality you already paid for it multiple times over.
Customer service is basically scripted? They will yes you to death. I finally only got results after I had called and emailed multiple times that I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor and I refuse to be put on hold once again with no results. Customer service tells you yes. I have it I'll do this I'll do that they don't do anything that yes you to death. They were sure you're able to accept my credit card number in my PIN number but yet on three separate orders were not able to apply the promo codes. I had to get on the phone to get refunds which took me multiple calls and emails to accomplish that... Listen if you want to buy crap at five times the price it should be be my guest!
They're selling crap- crap -crap crap. Overpriced overpriced shipping return rates that are ridiculous customer service that basically is scripted to agree with whatever you say. Call me old school! Just go to the store at least if you want to spend $5 for something you know you're getting $5 not spending $55 for a $5 item. A
A horrible horrible experience very poor quality even the items I kept you wash them twice and they're absolutely useless $30 for a dress that you can see through its crazy do not shop with his company there is scam..

DOESNT SEEM WORTH THE EFFORT
I RECENTLY ORDERED FROM A SALE CATALOG FROM WOMAN WITHIN, SOMETHING I HAVE HAD AN ISSUE WITH BEFORE. IF THE NEW CATALOG HAS COME OUT, THE ON-LINE SITE DOESN'T WANT TO LET YOU ORDER FROM THE SALE CATALOG AT THE LOWER PRICE, EVEN THOUGH THE ITEM NUMBERS DIFFER. THIS TIME, WHEN I HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE, WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY TO HANDLE IT, THE MAN I SPOKE TO TRIED TO TELL ME THAT THOSE PRICES HAD EXPIRED, EVEN THOUGH THE CATALOG CLEARLY SAID IT WAS STILL GOOD FOR SOME TIME.
