This order was surprisingly great! I’ve ordered 100 wooden rounds recently & had many damaged (about 20%) I tried to reach out to the woodpeckers team but unfortunately had no response. I decided to order just 50 wood rounds this time in hopes that ordering a smaller batch would promise less damage & there was far fewer damages! I do expect some percent of error/damage knowing these are hard to produce. I was very relieved with my last order. My only critique is the packaging/ delivery protection. They will put 50/100 in a regular box with those pillow cushions. They end up popping from the weight of the wood. Every single time I’ve ordered, I end up with an impaired box with absolutely no insulation, just a box full of unprotected wood. I’d love it if they had a better way to ship large orders. (Label them as fragile, or put foam instead of low quality bubble wrap to stop movement) I would feel a lot better about my purchases from woodpeckers, but as of right now I feel as though it’s a complete gamble.

My husband Ron just sent in a comment about our last order. Normally we are very pleased with the plywood we ordered from you but the order we received this past time was horrible. It was not up to your usual standards and we can use maybe half of what we ordered for what we do with our laser engraving. The wood had multiple footballs on every single piece of wood with very few exceptions. Some mainly in the 1/8th inch had footballs on both sides. So we are definitely not happy with the order this time.

The Woodpeckers Crafts site was easy to use, had lots of product options, and very good quality and pricing. My project is toy kits for the Union Gospel Mission Women and Children shelter, with all expenses either donated or out of pocket, so pricing is important to me. I also loved reading the start-up story. Very inspiring!

On the wooden tiles I place a red letter “O” on them. I use the tiles for a church sermon titled - “ Spiritual Scrabble.”
The red letter “O” represent our Lords blood and the letter needed to spell God, Loves, and forgives.
During my sermon I created a PowerPoint slide with the board and letters sliding across the board while I preach using verses from the old and New Testament .
At the end I pass them out to everyone in church reminding them that God Loves you and Forgives you. The three words that require this letter “O”.

We are a small business that uses this wood to create fun magnets for one of our product lines. This is great quality, isn't warped, and is hard to come by right now. Very responsive. Orders filled quickly. On one recent order, I was shipped the wrong size on some wood discs. When I contacted them, they immediately shipped the correct size. No questions asked, no request to send the incorrect ones back. They just immediately took responsibility and did the right thing. They are good people.

Ordered 24" dowel rods (1/2" diameter) for a 4th of July project to give to my friends.
I was very pleased with the product quality and the price point. Attached is a photo of the flag that I make - I use different colored patriotic ribbons for trim. I made the bottoms of the dowel rods into a point so they would be easier to put into the ground. I wrap ribbon bows around the bottom of six dowel rods and give flag bouquets. I've decided to up my game and will be ordering little round wooden balls with 1/2" holes to paint gold for the top of the dowel rods. I Will update with new photos when finished

I used 106 1" wooden tiles to make my own Rummikub game pieces. I wanted smaller pieces that are easier to play with and to store. I printed the numbers on adhesive-backed paper and stuck them on the tiles. I brushed the pieces with diluted white glue to make sure the corners of the paper did not stick up. I use a checked cloth to keep the tiles aligned during the game. I roll the tile pieces in the cloth to pour them back into a drawstring bag for storage between games. A similar method can be used for other games such as Qwirkle.

I am a 95 year old Crafter and for the past 10 years, I create little pieces and donate ALL the proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! I have been using your hexagon boxes for the past several years and people love them!!! I do the Buckler Craft Fair in West Palm Beach and my Grand Total as of January 2022 is $14,000.00!!!

We have found inconsistencies in the quality of the birch plywood sheets. Some sheets have patches and/or pin knots on both sides, disqualifying them as B/BB. Also, we have received discolored sheets, appearing as if they were at the bottom of a pile in contact with a skid for a very long time. And warping has been an issue. At the same time, we have received boxes of the same grade of plywood that were perfect. This might not be an issue for those building cabinets, but for crafters, finish and consistency are a requirement. Shipping time has been excellent.

I love all the products at Woodpeckers Crafts. I just received my order and I am super excited to get crafting! The wood is supreme quality. I love perusing your items online daily. Shipping is incredibly fast considering I live in Ontario, Canada. No duty fees providing you keep order under certain amount. Such a great store with excellent product. Super happy.

ordered several square dowels 1/2", 5/16",3/16". all dowels had lots of twists and bows, esp. the larger sizes. dimensional sizing was very good. if you need short straight pieces, you can select portions from long dowels that may work. for the 5/16" and 1/2", i needed pieces about 12" long, really hard to find good straight portions.

We were excited to receive the birch dowels we ordered from Woodpeckers to use in our custom framing business- with the promise of a straight, quality product at a length that better suited our needs, we looked forward to putting the bowed poplar product we'd been using before behind us. Not only were they everything Woodpecker's described them to be, straight, solid & consistent- they also took paint better, cut beautifully & have made such a difference in the quality of our framing.

We ordered cribbage board pegs in various colors. This makes it so much easier to keep score on the cribbage board by assigning a different color to each player. It is hard to keep track of who is who when the pegs are all the same color, which is usually the case. So it was a small but much-appreciated purchase that served as an introduction to this wonderful company.

I have purchased from Woodpeckers two times now for making items for my small business. I have purchased the wooden peg dolls which I absolutely love and highly recommend. There are many options for sizes and shapes and the price is the lowest I have found. I also have been trying some of the other products they sell and am very happy with the quality, speed of shipping and the price. I am definitely going to continue to purchase items from Woodpeckers Crafts.

Love my heart swans! They're simply perfect just the way they are. So perfect I don't want to mar their beauty by adding anything to them. Not paint or feathers or flowers. I wanted to make donuts fancier for my daughters graduation party and the candle sticks worked perfectly for our donut bar. I found exactly what I was looking for and at a reasonable price. My order was processed and shipped quickly and I loved the email updates. My order arrived packaged really well and the different sized candle sticks are all beautiful. I will definitely be ordering from Woodpeckers again, they have good quality products. Having recently started working more with wood, I know I’ll be checking out Woodpeckers products a lot more. Absolutely love my mini coffin!I haven’t got around to doing anything with it yet.But I have fabulous plans instored for it.Going to paint it black or stain it a dark walnut and maybe paint the inside red.Possibly do a gold cross or stencil a fancy D for Dracula.A Pee Wee Herman doll a absolutely hate is going inside it after I make him into a vampire with fangs and all that jazz.lol!😂

A great company for woodworking products! I paint eggs. All kinds of eggs. Real chicken and goose eggs, Wooden goose eggs and wooden chicken eggs. Flat bottoms and ceramic goose eggs. I paint them in Pysanky, Santa, winter and summer scenes. Right now I am doing Bababushkas. What I love about Woodpeckers product is the quality. No eggs have cracks or splits
in the wood. Each one in the order is usable. Great company to work. If you need any wood for projects this is the place for you!!
