It'd be nice to have a way to enter the different window...
It'd be nice to have a way to enter the different window measurements all under the same material and type; I just worry that I had once piece of wrong information in there somewhere then I'll end up with one window covering wrong/different. I did figure out that it remembers the information as I entered subsequent ones after the first though. It's just already so confusing!
Thanks, overall it was a pretty easy ordering process---I just hope I entered it all correctly!

We were very happy with our last order
We were very happy with our last order. Would suggest that larger color/texture images and a clearer definition of how the dimensions translate visually to the cell size on cellular blinds would be very helpful.

Would NOT recommend
Personally worked with a sales rep to place our second order from American Blinds. The sales person told me exactly how to measure the windows to ensure the correct measurements. When we finally received the window treatments, 5 in total, two of the were the incorrect size. When I called customer service, AmericanBlinds said it was my fault for not correcting the sales persons mistake in 24 hours. Now after having the window treatments (first order was 8 items, second was 5 items) for several months, they are very poor quality. Overall, I wish I had ordered from another company.

No customer service
I ordered blinds and the order is wrong. I have called them everyday for the past 5 days. Either the wait is over one hour or AmericanBlinds have closed early. If you work for a living and you receive a call back you can't take the call. There is no email address to contact this company. The guy Kenneth on Chat didn't like my Response of "that figures" so he ended the Chat and I couldn't tell him what the problem with the blinds are.

Very easy if making choices ahead of time
Very easy if making choices ahead of time. Would be nice to know price of options ahead of time such as fabric valence. It would also be nice to know what the percentage of tax is. I am hoping my tax was calculated on the discounted price.

Keith was able to track down blinds that I purchased...
Keith was able to track down blinds that I purchased in 2009 to see if I could order the exact in a different length. I could have ordered the exact if I had been willing to pay $1000, but I ordered a more reasonably priced zebra blind.

Website fault - couldn't pay for order
We tried to order 5 cellular blinds on the American Blinds website. Good price, just over $700. When it came to pay it would not accept a billing address different from the shipping address. We tried with 2 different credit cards. Just came back with an "invalid request" error. Called customer service. On hold about 10 min. AmericanBlinds said they didn't deal with website issues and forwarded the call to design consultant. On hold another 10 min. At that point we gave up and ordered the blinds on Lowes website. Success.

Going back and forth in the pages was a little tricky
Going back and forth in the pages was a little tricky. And it kept changing my window size to 130 inches, which created prices that nearly gave me a heart attack. But, on the whole, easy and pleasant to use.

Have not used your company before (ordered primarily from blindster and blinds.com for our houses in two different states). We hope we are as pleased with the product as we are with your customer service!

Since there are so many different types (brands, levels)...
Since there are so many different types (brands, levels) of similar styles, it would be much easier to shop if you were able to put in your parameters one time and have it apply to each style you look at. So much entering and re-entering and re-configuring...

Damaged product, but they made it right
[UPDATE: Their social media team contacted me and AmericanBlinds swiftly sent me a suitable refund for the damaged product. I changed my rating to 3 stars. And if they'd been this helpful when I called the main office in March, I'd have given them 5 stars!]
You get a tiny 2-week window to fully inspect your blinds, which is useless when you buy a batch of them and are in the middle of a huge remodel.
Once I got a look at them, I realized that 75% of them had dings, scratches, and weird shiny spots that couldn't be cleaned or scrubbed off. See photos. At the time, they were totally unwilling to talk about a replacement or even cut me a partial rebate. They contacted me here, though, and very quickly made it right. Thanks!

We were most interested in a top-down, bottom-up cellular shade. That was the priority. We found it a bit confusing to find, using it as a first priority. Finding an appropriate color, as well as TWO ON ONE HEADRAIL added a little more time to finding the desired combination. Hope we made the order correctly.

Always find your website easy to use
Always find your website easy to use - But difficult when you describe whites as "cotton" and "Porcelain". Pictures do not help. We just want pure white to match pure white trim and walls. Unsure what will arrive.

JOVAN, Company Manager was very helpful in completing this transaction as was his associate, AMYIA. Both were customer focused and solution oriented. Each are an asset to the American Blinds team.
Sadly, salespeople Steve Lagux as well as "Robert" (who chose to refuse to provide his complete name or any other identifying data) found assisting me an annoyance and joke. Neither were interested in doing anything other than in "upselling" me or belittling me. I doubt I do business with this company again given the free reign AmericanBlinds are give to insult and otherwise dissuade people from doing business with American Blinds. Both of these staff people believe possible lying and insulting will result in sales. They are little boy more than bullies who sit behind a desk and practice churn and burn.

American Blinds Did the Right Thing
The Roman Shade I purchased and received was the wrong style, color and material. It wasn't easy to contact customer service either. Once I emailed their "SocialCare" rep and wrote a review on ReviewFeeder, however, I got a timely and satisfactory resolution to my concerns. I was very pleased to finally have contact with the right rep and that AmericanBlinds were apologetic and extremely helpful. Mistakes and problems will always happen but how they took care of it that made all the difference. Special thanks to Lauren who really took care of business!

Misleading product
I purchased 2 outside mount blinds. When I received them, I noticed that the top of the blind is not enclosed as it shows in the attached picture from their website. I am concerned with dust that over time AmericanBlinds will not work as expected because the mechanism is exposed. I called customer service and after numerous calls/emails waiting for a response, they finally said that that's how they come and I would need to purchase an additional valance. I purchased 25 blinds and asking to spend more money on an item that apparently is being misrepresented is just wrong and bad customer service.

Great customer service and assistance with sample ordering. Actual ordering process for blinds was straightforward. I have used American Blinds in the past professionally and finally took the opportunity for my personal order.

Quality product at a good value.
I've been a repeat customer of American Blinds for several years now. Well made products, shipped promptly and backed up by excellent service. I had an issue with the way a discount was applied on a recent order, but after contacting the company it was promptly resolved.

Its been great
Its been great. I like how my configuration options persist across pages so that i can easily add more blinds even if they're different sizes and didn't have to select everything again. It would have been nice to list the manufacturer cut size AmericanBlinds take off (1/2") so that i wouldn't have had to call. But otherwise everything was great!

I have enjoyed my American Blinds. Happy to find you great sale but wish that my double window would be 1/2 off…since I want a single header and 2 different operating sides I guess you only call it a single window. You have great products!

Great and streamlined online ordering and customer...
Great and streamlined online ordering and customer design service team to help in selecting samples to order since it is hard to really tell with the photos on a computer screen. My mom can't wait to receive the vertical blinds for her Master Bedroom. I ordered for my new flat after a divorce a few years ago and was very happy with the service even when I had shipping damage on one of the blinds. One blind had an issue 1-2 years after it was received and I installed them and American Blinds sent me a replacement as it was under warranty. American Blinds makes it hassle free and very easy to work

I have been so pleased with my previous orders and...
I have been so pleased with my previous orders and have dressed almost every window in my house now. Family members have made wonderful comments asking about my shades and blinds and I always refer them your way. I have had good luck so far with buying without swatches but I do wish the online virtual viewing feature would actually work for everything. It only ever works for a handful of fabrics and it would help those who are visual people make easier decisions. Love your products and will definitely keep coming back when I need a refresh!
