When I called customer service, the person answering the phone was very rude and hung up on me.
When I called back, he said "you were jumping on me" when I said "you sent me a product that has now ruined my tank"
He started talking about how he personally did not ship the item; it wasn't his fault. I actually had to explain that my statement meant the company he represents, not him personally.
He then went on to tell me how everybody who works there is completely worthless and that's why he was answering the phones.

LAUGHING I THINK MONDAYS YOU DON'T WORK WEDNESDAYS YOU ARE RUDE TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS FRIDAYS!?! GO HEAD AND SUNDAYS LIE ABOUT NEXT WEEKS ORDERS. THANK YOU GOOD DAY SIR!
Placed order for Service ($20)
Just like you cannot provide a lot of service until I commit to $20... I can't pass judgement until I have something upon which to base it.
I never got a email back or did any one answer the phone when I called this morning
Second: There is an issue with the PayPal action cart. I used my PC, MAC, IPhone and IPad. What worked for payment was Amazon Pay. A bit frustrating. Seems like a long way to get to purchase your products.
Third: This one is probably cultural and reflects how we do business today. I tried calling and the voice mail stated to leave a message or send an email. I do not believe its a good way to take care of real time issues. I'm old, what can I say. I like to talk to a person, plus it gives me an opportunity to ask questions about a product.
The first and second are the most frustrating, the third I can live with. Depending on how this shipment goes, I may come back to order more items.
Update: AquariumPlants.com fixed the website and sent me a 30$ refund. The process was a little frustrating but nobody is perfect and in the end, they did exactly what they promised, so I'm changing my review from 2 to 4 stars. By the way, the CarbonDoser is fantastic.
I have used their brand of substrate and it works wonders in planted aquariums. I highly recommend that. My plants respond quite favorably with this stuff. The root systems are strong, their colors are great, and they grow like weeds.
I have their complete ultimate co2 system and I have to say I really like the electronic regulator; it simplifies things so much. No more annoying bubble counting, you just set the rate and let it do its thing.
I do have a complaint though. Out of all the purchases I have made with them, about 2/3 have had issues; either items are missing or malfunctioning. They do always fix the problem in a short time so while it is annoying, it's not that big of a deal.

I immediately opened the package and started sorting plants by species. Then I mixed up a bleach bath and rinsed everything, sorted and separated the bunch plants and had everything laid out. I'm pleased with the selection that was provided. I ordered a 12 pack and received about 25 individual plants after separating everything out. That's the best deal you will find anywhere.
I will be placing another larger order thanks to the success of my first one. Don't be worried about snails, just make sure to either quarantine everything first, or bleach bath them before you plant.
I was amazed at how fresh each and every piece looked, like it had been pulled out of a tank just moments ago. Additionally, the plants were larger than I expected which was a big bonus in my opinion. I have never bought plants online that looked this great
Upon arrival plants were very cold. I wish AquariumPlants.com were packed in something more than butcher paper.
Plants in bundles had no roots growing at all, I hope they grow quickly in my tank.
Very satisfied with the swords, they arrived perfectly and with well established root systems.
Also, which I consider REALLY IMPORTANT, is that AquariumPlants.com saved my shopping cart indefinitely. That simple thing, plus an email that a plant was back in stock today made me able to complete my purchase from probably a month ago when I started my order!
