Ordered the first one 4 months ago and just received...
Ordered the first one 4 months ago and just received yesterday. Put it on myself, the whole process was not so hard as expected. The shutter fits well but the frame got some chip-off at corners and there is one noticeable gap on the panel which I took pics of. So the product quality is still somewhat in need of improvement. Also, the shipping was taking way too long, I almost forgot that I have ordered a shutter. Other than that, I'm happy so far. That's why I just placed order of another two window shutters. There would be more orders on the way. Hope my feedback can be seen and improvements can be done. Thanks!

The site was easy to navigate, but the discounts were misleading. I saw the "up to 35% vs 35%", which I accepted, but the Cookies promo was 3.5% not 5%. Very disappointing for a first time shopper how the promotions are done. I do see how Blinds.com got to the 3.5%. It is based on when the promotion is applied. Overall, I hope the remaining product experience makes it worth it with delivery and installation instructions.

Delivered exactly what was promised
These were my initial notes to the seller: Nice shopping cart; not sure why I had to pick bottom up twice; wish I could see the mounting hardware up close -- didn't get bottom up/top down because I couldn't visually evaluate ease of installation or durability of mechanism; wish cordless mechanism was explained (magnets? Springs?); wish there was an option for "cheapest color" rather than having to look for it; would have paid more for an expedited order; would have preferred to see installation instructions up front.

These are my notes now that I've had the unit installed for a couple weeks or so: it took many weeks for the package to get here. Had I known that up front, I probably would have looked elsewhere, but I'm very pleased with the final product. It is both convenient to operate and attractive. I'll very likely shop here again.

Easy to navigate website, easy to enter measurements, options explained straightforward (the illustrations remove any confusion, that's a nice touch) and I like how the price changes on the different brands when you put in your measurments, you don't need to keep inputting and toggling (another nice touch). Whoever designed your website made it very intuitive and informative - answered questions I didn't even know I'd have. This is the 3rd order I've placed - the selection and colors and options are conveniently organized and there's definitely a LOT more to choose from.

This was my first time purchasing blinds online
This was my first time purchasing blinds online. I sure learned a lot about my metal tape measure! Pretty cool that it has the length imprinted on the back, which was super helpful in not bending the tape to get the measurement. I am SO excited to have nice cellular shades - finally. Looking forward to putting them up once Blinds.com arrive. Kyle was super helpful in chat to assist me in choosing the cell size and in measuring correctly.

Having a sale pushed me along faster, but I am hoping the Title of Heavy Duty Outdoor blinds lives up to its name. I especially noticed the metal loop that the crank bar fits into. Other brands have plastic loops that tend to break off. But, I wouldn't mind a few more darker color options for the 3% opacity fabrics.

Easy enough to measure & order options. Advertisement was for up to 40% off + 5%. For the blinds I picked site showed 25% off with total of $291.47 but when actually placed ordered it only applied 15% off. The additional 5% off was less than the $20 coupon received via email so used the coupon and site would only allow 2 discs. Overall difference of about $18.00 than expected.

Good site
Good site. Would have been even better if I could have seen the products close up but that function didn't work. I don't know if it's because I am using Chrome instead of Firefox but it would be helpful to see the items larger the way you obviously intended me to. (you had the button to push and the title but then it returned a can't do response rather than enlarged photo.) Otherwise good sale, good shop.

The customer service people were very nice
The customer service people were very nice. The 'shopping experience' could be improved by having a video not only for installation, but also discussing & demonstrating the "whys" of the measurements and the differences between the different brands. I ordered light filtering skylight shades. It took quite awhile & several phone calls to finally be sure I had my order correct. That said, the "SureFit" guarantee was reassuring.

Good service
Good service. Quick, helpful, & patient live consultation. Be sure to request 'real color photos' to be sent directly via email, since the digital website color is only approximate and varies on phone or computer screens. Very user-friendly online ordering (and the consultant offered to submit the order if preferred). Best discount guarantee (if next promo is better than the current one you use, they'll credit the difference as long as your order is still pending). The five star rating is mainly about service & ordering, submitted prior to receiving the actual order, will try to update after receiving & installing the blinds if able.

When I clicked on the button to bill direct through a credit card, the website got stuck. After trying a couple times, I went back and chose paypal, which worked. Otherwise, the site is great for ordering custom blinds. I appreciate all of the information and the process of clicking though all of the options is really clear and easy. We've ordered blinds in the past from this site and they've been great so far.

The website was very easy to use, but it was difficult to see what the colors will look like in the preview window. Some of the sample color swatches for the Blinds.com blackout honeycomb shades were drastically different than what showed in the preview window. I don't have time to wait for samples to arrive, so I placed my order and I will be crossing my fingers on the color. Otherwise, the site was very easy to use!

I wanted to reorder 3 blinds that I had originally...
I wanted to reorder 3 blinds that I had originally ordered in 2016. The ones I have now are terrible looking between using them every day and having pets on the windowsill. I found what I was looking for online but wanted to confirm the size I ordered in 2016, even though I had the packing slip in front of me. I called and was helped by a very nice woman. So I went back online and ordered the 3 shades. Thank you!

I love the site
I love the site. My only complaint is that I have to call for help. I would love to be able to email. In addition, due to my experience with a previous order made on this site... I made a selection that did not work for the depth of my windows. I had to install the roller shade in reverse instead of the standard orientation. It would be good to have info on depth requirements for roller shades (maybe I just missed that info, in which case I suggest you draw a little more attention to that detail.)

SelectBlinds automatically applies best promos, which is easier for the customer. I don't like the extra clicks to manually apply promos.

The Corded vs Cordless options are very confusing. If a product only comes in Cordless, please say so in the product headline, otherwise i go through all the settings and sample selection process, only to find out a product does not even come in the configuration I need. VERY frustrating and a waste of time.

Great policy
This is an update to my previous review. The cellular shades are equal quality to any Top Brands. Unfortunately 2 of the shades I ordered ended up being to tight in a few spots due to my house is made of Slump brick. I really thought I had taken it into consideration. When I called Customer service for any kind of help she had me send pictures, had me measure the tightest spot and she reordered my blinds. This was all handled on one phone call. I really didn't think I would get new blinds. I read the policy later and was surprised and relieved Blinds.com really do guarantee a proper fit. Thank You Blinds.com
(Old review) I am disappointed the only cellular blinds on sale for 45% were the more expensive Levolor. Which was still more than Blinds.com. I have purchased name brand from you before, I do hope your product is just as superior.

Tried to order blind in a different fabric, but the computer would not let me. Instead of a message as to why I couldn't order (fabric didn't come in the 95" width), I kept trying to process order. I chatted with a consultant one day and Blinds.com were going to forward issue to IT and said I should check the website the next day. The next day, nothing changed. Called in today and Kim was able to tell me the fabric did not come in that width. That helped to process my order.

Cheap blinds, No customer support
Literally, no support to communicate with. I was able to leave a voicemail, that's it. No callback. Blinds relatively cheap, slats out of alignment, Blinds.com are loose and slide back and forth. Make sure you know how to measure, they don't provide any ability to extend the strings/slats vertically (or horizontally). So make sure you know exactly where your headrail will sit. Order them longer and wider if you're not sure.

I am ordering more shades/blinds after I ordered a few the first time to see how Blinds.com were. I was very impressed with the quality. The representative encouraged me to order the Northern Blinds by Bali for quality and he was correct. Very nice wood blinds. My biggest complaint is that measurements do not take the valance width (which is over an inch wider than the blind) into account and it really wasn't a big deal except for the bay window, because of the three sections and the outside ones are angled. After I cut down the center valance to allow the side valances to fit, it turned out gorgeous. I'll have to post this review again in an area where I can add the photo.

UPDATE: received and already installed my second set of wood blinds and Roman Shades. Really impressed with the quality and the ease of installation. I was even contacted about the second order to confirm the size of my Valance because they were worried it might not have been ordered correctly. Very impressed.

We absolutely love our blinds!
We absolutely love our blinds! Blinds.com were easy to install (took a minute to understand but then it went quickly). They fit perfectly and really help to insulate our rooms. Picture windows in Vermont winters are not very efficient but the blinds make a huge difference! So cozy when the blinds are down and we love the options if bottom up or top down. This is our third order. I took off one star because it was frustrating not to be able to just click to repeat an order with all the same details. Please make this possible. It would make reorders a breeze.
I've already ordered 12 shades and I will be back to order for three more rooms. Thanks!

I called because I was unsure about a few specifications on the Roman shade I wanted (even though your website had a load of Q&As and reviews. Chad was my representative and gave me super awesome advice. He even suggested he send me an email "swatch" just to be sure of color, and it was JUST what I needed to make the final call on fabric choice. Thank you so much! Please let Chad know he rocks!

Believe it or Not
Believe it or not, design consultant, Theresa Jordan, at Blinds.com was able to find my 5 year old order for top/down bottom/up cellular shades and order a replacement for one that had broken. This was critical to me as the shade was one of 4 in a kitchen bay window in a house that will soon be on the market! What is even more amazing is the first consultant I spoke to said the shades I had purchases were no longer available and sent some samples of my replacement options. When I called back and got Theresa, I explained how important it was to match the existing shades and how the samples fell so short of that, her response was, let me get back to you on that, I may be able to get that shade for you. She called back a few days later and Voila! My original order will be duplicated! What a great design consultant Theresa Jordan is! Thank you Theresa!

William Boston was very instrumental in my decision for my Solar Outdoor Shade purchase. William went above the basic assistance; directing in parallel how to locate additional information about product and walked me through the material to point to specific pages.

I'm not sure how serious these opinions are taken, but it would be helpful to Blinds.com in knowing which employees have their best interest in mind.

I ordered free sample... Blinds.com came quickly and an even better sale was available when I ordered! I am very pleased with Blinds.com so far... can't wait to see my new window treatments!

Update…. They arrived earlier than expected! They are even better than I hoped! I'm already working in more windows in my home with blinds.com. Waiting for my second set of free samples for my kitchen window. Thank you for providing too quality products at reasonable prices!

Lot of promise, but some aspect leave confusion at the end.
Example: What is the difference between Blinds.com and Blinds.com Premium is not clear.
On the cart, the items were showing discounted price. But after some point (i believe few hours AFTER i entered my zip code for professional installation), the prices started showing with taxes included - causing confusion why the prices went up, and i ended up redoing my entire cart in another browser, just to realize that taxes were included without clarity.

When I entered payment information (multiple times), I received "Service Error" message. Called the 800-number and went through the endless directories. Was given an option to leave my number and someone would call me back. I did that. It's been over 90 minutes (thank GOD I didn't wait on hold that long). I went back in and re-entered everything and got it to work, no thanks to customer service. Pain in the butt. Hope production works better than customer service.

Unlike most...
Unlike most... your website works. It remembers my choices so I don't need to reenter information over and over. It removes options to select things that are not available with my customization and provides an explanation why. Someone is doing an excellent job of monitoring and constantly improving your customers' experience and it shows. Bravo... now, lets hope the product production and delivery are streamlined and flawless. Thanks!

Some good, some bad
The website indicated free installation when spending $1499, but there was no way to add this to the order as instructions on the site indicated. It was hard to figure out how to get your order, but also request someone to come and measure.
The good, talking with the customer service rep on the phone got my order straightened out. Blinds.com also honored the discount price for me.

The folks on the phone were very helpful and got my order set for me.

Great user experience, easy to make my selections and get a price, and really helpful agents that helped me make the right decision. It was a bit confusing how the products are separated by vague names of styles ("premium", vinyl, woven, etc) and by opacity (blackout vs light filtering). I think those selections could be made more clear and obvious.

There are some specifications that would be helpful to include during the customization process, like some more detailed measurements for the spacing of the shades when deciding between standard roll or reverse roll. I had to reach out to a sales agent to get that info. The sales agent Kyle was awesome and was able to give me those details and some tips on making sure that the blackout shades have no light gaps. Awesome support. You guys are crushing it so far, now to see if you have a killer product when it arrives B-)

I don't give anybody 5 stars, but...
This was my second order with Blinds.com. I was very satisfied a year ago and this year I put up 2 more. Yep I'm biting off a little at a time. I'll be 76 soon and I can't afford everything at once, or for that matter the job would be too overwhelming for me. I did both installations myself. The blinds fit perfectly and look great on both installations and Blinds.com went up without a hitch. (that's old people talk for a problem). The packaging was good and all the parts were there. I didn't need the instructions as I'm somewhat of an expert with having 5 installs under my belt previously. Thanks for a great value product and a courteous sales team and staff.
