ORIGINAL: My mother just got a daith, tragus and nose piercing a couple days ago. And in her excitement wanted to buy some jewelry for when she is able to change out the piercings. I happened to see that there was a 50% off sale going on, so I told her she should buy a few things! So she placed an order, received an order confirmation email. Today received another order confirmation updating her existing order with a pair of $20 nipple piercings! She called me up frantic not knowing what to do, so I contacted Body Candy's customer service to say that she never ordered that, included the original order confirmation, and received back a "well there's nothing with can do" response. It definitely seems like a scam from their lack of urgency, considering that would be a major issue on their end if their system added in items/inventory to orders. Not to mention the fact that they over charged on an agreed upon amount.
I’ve contacted customer service a couple of times for different orders. Each time has been a prompt response, even late night on a weekend. I even had someone call me back on a Saturday to resolve my issue.
After contacting customer service about an issue with the postal delivery service, they went above and beyond acting swiftly to remedy the problem. 5 Star Service!
BodyCandy responded quickly but I only ever talked to bots and none of them were helpful at trying to figure out the exchange. Then I learned that over half my store credit would be used to pay for shipping to return the broken septum ring so I would have barely any store credit to use to get a replacement so I just decided it wasn't worth exchanging and left it alone.
I contacted CS because I had one of my barbells lose a tiny stopper which made me really bummed. I got a response about 30 mins later saying a replacement was being sent. Fast responsive timing considering the time was around 8pm PST and they're all way in NY.
Everything I ordered came in within a week (ordered from CO at the end of March 2021), all the sizes are correct, and the jewelry is beautiful and seems to be of a good quality so far. I will probably be buying from this company again, and recommending it to my friends.
So to all of you at Body Candy, KEEP ROCKING!
I normally love BodyCandy but this time there was little/no communication about how there were things in my order that were out of stock. It wasn’t until 2 months later than I was finally given a straight answer. Then they told me I would receive 2 of the 3 things that were in stock, but then only sent me one. No offer for a refund on the missing items until I asked for one. They were still going to keep my money for items I was never going to receive. Unbelievable.
*edited to add* customer service for back to me about shipping, and BodyCandy were very nice. The shipping issue was a misunderstanding on my part, and I was satisfied with the resolution. I was SO happy with my jewelry when it arrived!
I emailed about the free shipping issue and the rep explained the policy in a very professional way. It was my misunderstanding. I still wish I could have qualified for that free shipping, but overall I was satisfied with my shopping experience.
The initial response from BodyCandy seemed generic and unhelpful. I emailed again for clarification and got the answers I needed.
