WORST customer service EVER!
My experience with this company was TERRIBLE! I ordered some canvases, but once I got the confirmation email, I realized that CanvasDiscount would be arriving when we were out of town. I immediately contacted customer support and asked if my shipment could be delayed by a couple of days. They responded saying that they could not delay anything that had already been shipped--even though it HAD NOT SHIPPED. Ugh. Okay, fine. We had someone pick up our packages when we were gone; not too big a deal.
The second order I placed was worse. When I got the confirmation email, I realized that they had duplicated my order, so I was double charged. I don't need 2 of the same pictures, of course, so I emailed them IMMEDIATELY to try and get them to cancel. I got no response. I tried using their "live chat", but there was no response. Nothing. It was like the app didn't even function. Finally, I tried calling them. After waiting on the line for an hour, I gave up. It was at this point that an email popped up in my inbox saying that the order had been shipped. ARRRRRRGGGGGH! What the?!
Though the quality of the canvases are pretty good, the customer service kills it. I will never EVER use this company again. They are just awful!

If zero was a rating number it would still be too high!
Made the mistake of buying multiple vouchers from Groupon from this so-called art company.
After reading all the hype on their website, Museum quality work, best frames ever in the whole world!
If you're not happy we will replace it.
Wow how could you go wrong! On their site a 60 x 40" canvas supposedly retails for $560 Groupon $59.99 plus shipping this sounds too good to be true! Well again I read what CanvasDiscount said and I needed art for a new house I had purchased a lot of empty walls and this was a lot less expensive and I get to choose what I want on the canvas, how better can it get. Order for right off the bat of the 60 x 40 only to find out because their vouchers each one had to be a single order with separate shipping, still a deal.
How do they get them out in 24 hours while I need building frame stretching canvas they must have crews working around the clock I said to myself.
Eight days later two large cartons arrive. And I ordered four, or have to will be here tomorrow.
My mistake when the boxes were open to work in the same box face-to-face separated only by A very thin layer of bubble wrap. When I took them out the first thing I noticed at the bubble wrap came off was the entire outline of the woodframe wasn't getting dente A very thin layer of bubble wrap. Followed by the center crossbar which is a much wider thick piece of wood which goes across the entire center of the canvas was there as well going right through the faces of the image.
Oh no this can't be as I sell this huge thing in my hands I noticed the center of the top was caving in I turned around and the frame is cracked. I stuck it on the wall just to stand back and gaze at what I was seeing only to be surprised by the next thing to go wrong it doesn't sit flush against the wall! 3n do but not four.
Turns out three of the four are the same way when I reported it it took forever to get a reply and the reply was and what I anticipated it was going to say. They didn't want to replace it because it was from Groupon! Well this wasn't going to sit with me. After a lot of investigating I find out the company is in Germany they got a phone depot in a rush rush work center in Florida. I took the frame and the canvas to a local college only to find out their world best friends are prefab of the lowest quality wood.
I'm not even going to go into the blemishes and markings in the canvas that would be another whole chapter. Make the story come to an end I still have this junk back in its box it's in my garage I'm writing and every review site possible to warn people you don't always get what you are guaranteed. Lies and deceit! When a company have to have the right ploys all youth fictitious names male or female using the same name over and over the kind a give you an indication something else besides their personal identity of who you're talking to is being hidden.
This happened three months ago and I'm still battling this company and is probably mistakes here but I'm so darn frustrated I'm just spitting it out as it comes back to my mind. Let me end on this, in my campaign to warn people I forget to tell my sister the entire story. My birthday was last weekend and to my surprise a very similar looking large cardboard carton arrived Could it be a replacement it would be way more than one carton as it was open I see unfamiliar prints but soon after I'm seeing very familiar broken frames. Turns out my sister ordered two for my birthday. Now isn't that a kick in by if you could post photos here I could fill up five pages broken frames and so just be careful this company should not even be allowed to represent themselves as they do.

Horrible Customer Service
I submitted an electronic order of canvases on Sunday afternoon and the CanvasDiscount website duplicated my $75 order. I emailed them as soon as I received the second confirmation email. CanvasDiscount responded on Monday saying they couldn't stop production and gave me the shipping info.

I sent a second email asking for my $75 refund and they sent me the following email.

We would like to offer you a refund however, to avoid further shipping costs for you and for us, and also to stay environmentally friendly, there is no need to send the package back to us.
Instead, we kindly ask you to take a sharp object and to make a cut through the canvas, blanket or other photo gift product. You can also make the cut away from any people or faces instead of directly through the middle of the product.
If you cannot make a cut through your item (such as with a mug or phone case), please destroy it in any other form like using a permanent marker to scribble on the item (enough to deem it unusable) or scratch the surface with a sharp object.
So that we can validate the refund, please take a picture of the destroyed item and send it to us, as an email attachment.
Once you do this, we will be able to process your refund.
Do not dispose of the product until we confirm that your refund has been processed.

I refuse to destroy pictures of my granddaughter, family and friends. I am appalled that a company wouldn't take responsibility for duplicate orders their website created. They should be thankful that I'm a great repeat customer and should want to preserve customer goodwill. I see other complaints about unauthorized duplicate orders and this is the type of bad customer service they take pride in.

I will be sure to share my bad experience with my family and friends and that's too bad because I've always been very happy with their product!

3 weeks and waiting. Still hasn't shipped out!
I don't understand how it can take so long for just one canvas to ship out! I placed my order on 05/04/2021 and it is now 05/25/2021 and the carzy thing is that according to the canvasdicount.com website, my order is already in transit but when I look up the tracking number directly thru the UPS website it says only the shipping label has been created! After more than 3 weeks of waiting I emailed them to cancel my order if there is no progress on my order within 3 days and the response I received was as if CanvasDiscount didn't even read my email! All they wrote back was this is your tracking number you can check the status of your order on this website! Effin ridiculous! Then I heard a podcast by Allie Mackay (from world famous KROQ) called A cup of tea and a chat with allie and bean talk about having the same problem with this same website and they tried to offer her a free canvas and a discount on future purchases and she said no I will never do business with you again!
I wish I heard that podcast before I made the same mistake... smh find another website, trust me!

Ordered four prints on two separate orders to be given...
Ordered four prints on two separate orders to be given as holiday presents. The first order arrived and the prints were marginal. One had a nick out of the ink, and it's important to note that the quality is not good. The canvas is not properly stretched, merely folded over a really cheap frame and stapled. The second order arrived completely smashed. I tried contacting the company the day of the delivery, but never could reach anyone. Repetitive calls to their 800 number were useless. Their hold just hangs up on you after 5 minutes... every... single... time... I emailed the company with the details of my order and photos of the damaged print. After several days someone finally contacted me through email and said CanvasDiscount would replace the print. Two weeks later- no print. Sent another email following up on the print, several more days go by and the "customer service" rep sent me a tracking number of my ORIGINAL damaged package saying it had already been delivered. HELLO?! Of course, tried contacting them again by phone and get put on hold and hung up on. The other number in the signature of their email is equally as useless as it appears to be an out of area verizon cell phone number. And now, I'm out $100 and one Christmas present three days before Christmas.

1) The day my order was supposed to be shipped I logged on to find that, although there was a FedEx pick-up number, it had not actually been picked up. I called customer service, but got no answer. When I sent an e-mail, I got the following reply:

"We apologize for the delayed response to your email. We have been experiencing some internet and phone difficulties due to our moving of warehouses. Thank you for your purchase on our website. Unfortunately at this time we have a couple high volume orders and we are doing our best to make sure everyone's order gets shipped out asap. You received a FedEx tracking number in preparation of your order getting sent out. Your order will be picked up Monday if you wish to continue. You will then be able to use the tracking number. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience." Judging from the other reviews, CanvasDiscount must be moving the warehouse often.

2) When it finally arrived it was very poorly put together:

A) The colors are supposed to be "stretched" over the side of the canvas. This was only appropriately done on the top edge. On the left edge it was only done correctly on the top and bottom third, and in the middle left blank white. On the bottom edge the left third is done correctly, but the middle and right third have an inappropriate orange and blue color. Along the right side edge the "stretching" was not done at all and left completely white.

B) The canvas was also mounted crooked on the frame. This would not be as obvious except for the fact they left the entire right side edge white (see above) and that leaves a diagonal white line along the right of the front of the canvas when looked at from straight on.

They have a "100% satisfaction money back guarantee," but it does not cover the cost of shipping to me ($14.90) or the cost for me to ship this unusable junk back to them (which I assume will be about the same). This means they would send me $54.90 back on something that will have a total cost of around $85 for me.

I am going to contact my credit card company first to see if I can cease any payment, and then see if bestcanvas will act on the guarantee.

On the credit card the company billing is listed as www.meinbild.dekoelndeu. It is in Germany and they also added a $2.09 fee as a foreign transaction fee that was never mentioned.

Moderate Quality Prints with hit or miss customer service
I ordered a canvas print and I received a grainy, low quality print (from a file that I've had good reproductions of in larger print mediums before). Additionally, I ordered their canvas mounting kit which wasn't included in the package. When I reached out to request CanvasDiscount send me everything I paid for, I heard nothing for 2 weeks, then I pushed again and asked for a refund and was told it would arrive within the next 7 days - unsurprisingly I've yet to see a refund or the hanging kit 1 month later.

Update: after being asked to get in touch with them again my refund immediately went through and I was offered a voucher for a free print (I assume in recompense for my troubles). This time I was quickly responded to and I was happy to see a refund show up in my PayPal within a day of me having sent my email!

Update 3/20/18: After I took them up on their offer for a free print, I received a slightly larger canvas print. It was nice and solid and certainly a better print. However, I received multiple emails from them pestering me to update my review on Site Jabber and reminding me that "Satisfied customers give us five stars." Needless to say, their repeated pestering was annoying and frankly felt entitled. In light of their incessant pestering, I've docked a star.

If I could, I would not leave a star at all. After I received my print with lines in it, and reading the online reviews, I decided making a phone call would be a waste of my time. I have dealt with them via email. CanvasDiscount don't read my entire email. They will not refund my money (I used Groupon, that's a whole different fiasco entirely). My first canvas had lines through it. When I uploaded the photo (which prints perfectly on other photo sites, mind you) and checked the preview (which is only a tiny thumbnail) the photo was fine, no lines. My canvas had lines in it. I reported this in my email and they said they would refund my money after I had sent them digital proof that I'd destroyed the print. Their site guarantees 100% satisfaction and I asked if we could print it again. They said they could if i sent a photo. I sent the file and they said I did not (I had blind cc :d my husband on it so I could see that the file was attached when I checked his email). I sent it again and they said my order would be reprocessed and sent. Got it today, and not shockingly, the canvas has lines in it. I'm only out $17, but the principal is that if you order something, you expect to get what you ordered. I guess that I'm getting what I paid for! I would not advise anyone to purchase from this company EVER!

I placed an order on December 9th & I still haven't received my canvas. It was suppose to arrive before Christmas & it didn't. I was sent an email saying it was sent, but it did not have a tracking number on it, which I didn't like that & I think there should have been a tracking number on my item that I spent money on! I have tried to contact this company by phone, but the recording said due to a "hurricane" CanvasDiscount are closed. I believe the last time I checked, there aren't any hurricanes out there. I live in the South. The number I called was, *******430. I have read reviews online & apparently I'm NOT the only person who isn't getting their orders & not having a tracking number. I used this company because it was a good one last year when I ordered a canvas for Christmas. I had no problems getting the one from last year. I sure hate that I spent MY money on something that I haven't received & it seems like I probably won't receive it! I am very angry & this is not professional@ all! I sent them an email on Thursday, Dec. 26th & they sent me a email back just saying that someone will contact me in 1-2 business days. Well, it's been longer than 2 days & still no response!

Poor customer service
We ordered a couple canvases from here a few months ago. CanvasDiscount seemed fine - nothing outstanding but solid. Then I decided to order a canvas for my mom for Christmas when they were running a free shipping deal. I designed the canvas, went to purchase, selected PayPal as my method of payment, went through the entire process and at the end there was no order confirmation which I found odd. Thinking I did something wrong, I reordered it. Same thing & I was extremely precise that time to ensure I didn't miss anything. No confirmation. So I emailed them explaining the issue. It took a week to get back to me & they were extremely rude & unhelpful. Still desiring the canvas, I requested to order it again through them as I had since figured out there is a glitch in their communication with PayPal so I was going to just pay directly with my credit card. Again it took a week for a response & I was basically accused of lying about my original order attempt. This makes me very sad as I selected this site as they advertise "hand-stretched" "American made" but I cannot utilize a business that treats their customers like this.

Absolutely Horrible!
Customer Service is horrendous. What initially started as a great start with customer service quickly turned into opposite. I purchased groupons for a canvas with floating frames. Both canvas' were received without a frame. The first canvas CanvasDiscount said they would send the correct product- mind you this was after constant calls during business hours to which an automated system would pick up and after 3 min on hold literally every time it would hang up. When you email- it takes days before they respond. The second canvas I was told to cut up the canvas, take pictures of it, and then send back to them. Then they would reissue the groupon to have me start the process all over again. The customer service representative handling the second canvas, Liz Rogers, initially told me I did not order a floating frame, I ordered a wooden frame- either way the canvas can without a frame and I had already provided pictures of the canvas showing no frame was received. As if that was not bad enough, the pictures were not even aligned the way I had set them and I was not impressed with the quality of the canvas at all.

Do NOT order from this company EVER!

Never, ever again
My company ordered custom logo face masks on 07.20. We were told the order could take up to two weeks to receive. Almost a month later, after numerous e-mails to customer service (there's no readily available phone number to call, you have to e-mail them), we finally received them. CanvasDiscount were incorrect. The fabric and color were horrible. Customer service said they would replace the masks free of charge. I donated the incorrect masks.

Again, almost a month went by, and after MORE e-mails to customer service, I was told "our masks didn't mean quality control inspection, so we have to redo them." OK, fine. Another few weeks go by, and we received the masks. STILL WRONG. I couldn't believe.

I immediately contact customer service. They told me if I wanted a refund (because I surely didn't trust them to make the masks correctly after now 3 misprints), I would have to send them pictures of every single mask destroyed individually. When I inquired why I could not donate these masks in the midst of the pandemic, when there is a severe mask shortage, I was told I agreed to the terms and conditions when we purchased from them. The terms and conditions I agreed to were contingent on actually receiving our correct order!

I have never once spoken on the phone from anyone in this company. My issues were never escalated to management, but simply passed to the next customer service representative who responded like a bot... I'm not confident I ever spoke to a real person.

We never received a refund. I refused to destroy the masks and donated them anyways. I will never, ever purchase anything from this horrible company again and will advise our constituents of their "process."

Do not stand behind their product
Have given their service more than enough chances, and more times than not, receive and inferior product. Had metal pics that CanvasDiscount just couldn't figure out how to ship with out the ends bending. Told them how to fix since I work for the P. O, so i know a little bit about packing and shipping, NEVER changed how they shipped, so the prints kept being bent. Waste of everyone's time and money. Had canvas prints made of pictures I've had printed 100's of times, only to have the whole batch look faded, off color, kind of a bluish hue. So, I let them know that operator error or the computer botched the saturation or something. Oh, no, couldn't be them. Has to be my faulty color even though the pictures I sent that you can see on the order had vibrant colors. Month later, still haven't seen any replacements that they said would take time now, because of, you know, MY faulty colors. Sent an email asking where they were and got a reply (finally) that I needed to start the whole process over again and take pics of the faulty product (which I had already done a month ago). So, NO ONE was working on it. They don't care. Save your money. Try Canvas People, Snapfish, Shutterfly... anyone else!

Shady
An ugly 3x5 framed canvas showed up at our house out of the blue. It was in a very large box that is going to be hard to dispose of. Anyway, no one in our family ordered it, but my son had just graduated from college and we thought it may be a gift so I called them to find out more. CanvasDiscount asked for the number on the back to id it. After they got the number, they told me to destroy it and would not give me any other information about it. They told me it was most likely a fraud charge and that we needed to call all of our credit card companies to dispute. Weird that they immediately came to that conclusion without any other information that the number on the back. I asked for the date and amount of the order, since CC companies need that info to look it up. They refused to give me the information and said it was a matter of privacy for the person who ordered it, even if it was fraud. After more investigation we found that it as a fraudulent charge for $300. I think the perpetrator was testing the credit card number because more charges followed, but BestCanvas refused to help in anyway.

I am a start up company, trying to find a reputable canvas company to print my photography on, for my clients. Being my own business, I would like to buy wholesale, not retail, but am having difficulty finding that online. Since doing my research, I have come across this site and the prices are right. Their website is nice, shows user ratings, offering money back guarantee, ease of use, etc. I decided to google reviews on canvasdiscount to see how other customers feel about them since I dont know anything about them (ie CanvasDiscount were not recommended to me, I just happened upon them). Anyway, the 1st 10 reviews or so were TERRIBLE! That made me very uneasy. Continuing through the reviews, there were some very good ones, and some ok ones. However, they were all so inconsistent. One person thinks the quality is great, another says it stinks. One thing that I found common throughout, whether happy or not so happy, was their customer service. So while I was on their site today, I decided to chat with someone about my concerns. Their phone hours are only between 2-4pm Mon-Fri, so I was not able to have a conversation about this unless I waited. That is ridiculous, 1st of all. Only 2 hours a day they are available by phone? I did try to call anyway, and they have a message, but no ability to leave a voicemail. Check mark #2. No bueno. Anyway, upon my chat with Luis, everything was going fine initially, and then after my 2nd or 3rd question, he no longer was responding. We discussed the return policy, the resolution in images as for quality of images on large size canvases, etc. Nothing rude or anything. After no response for several minutes,, I asked if he was still there? No response. I then typed, "hmmmmmmm..." Again, no response. Several more minutes passed and I asked if he was still there? No response. I closed out the chat with, "I guess this is a sign. Thanks" So yah! If this is my FIRST contact with the company, no way in hell will I be ordering anything from them, EVER! They cant even maintain a chat conversation. Unreal.

Poor Quality! No Customer Service!
The quality of the two canvases I purchased was poor. Many attempts over many days to contact BestCanvas via telephone was absolutely fruitless. I sent emails that went unanswered and finally I filed complaints with PayPal and AMEX. CanvasDiscount responded to PayPal and I received many emails but the following was the most interesting:

Thank you for your message.
Since you are not happy with the prints, we would like to offer you a refund in respect to the return policy.
However, to avoid further shipping costs for you and for us, and also to stay environmental friendly, there is no need to send the package back to us.
Instead, we kindly ask you to take a sharp object and to make a cut in the middle of the canvas.
So that we can validate the refund, please take a picture of the destroyed canvas and send it to us, as an email attachment.

I followed their instructions and sent them the evidence; they let me know that a refund had been issued. OF COURSE, IT HAD NOT! I worked with PayPal (who initially requested that I return the items - the slashed canvasses had been disposed of) and they finally refunded my money.

I consider the practices of this company to be questionable at best. You can draw your own conclusions regarding the worst...

If you pay for services you expect to receive. Not the case with this company
Frustrated right now. I ordered 3 canvases for my inlaws of their grandkids. This was a surprised Christmas gift for them. I had received the email stating my order was ready to be shipped with tracking number and order number. My inlaws got one of the canvas but not the other two which CanvasDiscount didn't even know about. So I tried to find out what happened with the other two canvases. I went to the website under order status and put my number in that was provided. It is saying that my order has been shipped. It is not giving any other detail to what or where the other two canvases are. I have tried numerous times for days now to reach the company via telephone and each time it will say that they have a high volume of calls right now, a customer service agent will be with you shortly. After 11 mins it hangs up on you. This continues to happen. I have tried reaching them via email provided on their site. They have yet to respond. I have now reached out to paypal reporting the issue with them. Hopefully I can get my money back but it is concerning that whomever this company is (sounds like foreigners) has pictures of my children. I want my money back in full.

I had accidentally ordered from this site on a recommendation for canvas pop.com.
When I realized I had made a mistake and went to check reviews on best canvas I was horrified to see everyone claimed that it was cheap crap. I immediately cancelled my order ( thankfully I actually got someone on the phone)
I was not charged ( Thank God) and I thought that was that - a few week later my order ( which I had cancelled) came in the mail and I could not resist opening it. Sure enough it was a rolled canvas with a do it yourself frame all which would have been fine except there was a pea size spot in the middle of the canvas where the ink had not taken properly. I tried to lick my finger and rub it a bit to see if that would help instead it just smudged more of the ink right off. Shocking! When I called to tell the company CanvasDiscount had sent me my cancelled order they told me I could keep it, and when I preceded to tell the lady on the phone about the blemish ( putting it nicely) she didn't even apologize. I guess I shouldn't complain being that I have a un- hangable canvas I didn't pay for... this site should be called worst canvas!

Bad product and bad customer service
Bad product and bad customer service. I ordered stretched canvases for a Christmas present and after we got them, a drip of water got on one and completely ruined it. It didn't just smudge, it completely cleaned the photo off of the canvas in that area. I tested the other prints we had ordered (on the back of the frame) and the print rubbed off VERY easily with just a wet finger. Any type of condensation or leaking in your house could ruin these prints. I got family photos with the idea that my mom could keep them for years, but I'm afraid that CanvasDiscount may turn out to be temporary. It seems like the company could seal them in some way or use a different printing process to provide some protection from water damage, but when I contacted them, they didn't even pretend to offer protection from water damage even though their website claims they sell "museum-quality custom canvases."

I contacted the company to see what they could do on 12/4/2011 and they finally emailed me back on 1/5/12... over a MONTH later. I know Christmas is a busy time for companies, but this is crazy! If the email had something substantial to it, like some research or an offer to fix the problem, I would have a little understanding, but it said this (verbatim): "Thank you for your purchase on our website and i apologize for the delayed response. I would like to inform you that we do not provide any type of protection on our anvas prints so any high humidity/water area will possibly ruin the prints. Thank you and again i apologize." Again, keep in mind that their website claims "Exceptional customer service."

Ridiculous! Don't order from this company!
