Flexjobs is a great concept
Flexjobs is a great concept. The things that are offered are very valuable and you really can prepare and apply to jobs that fit your exact criteria. The only reason I gave it four stars was because I did not have any feedback from any of the employers I applied to. Whether that was because I just wasn't a good fit for them or because Flexjobs as an application method does not offer the best results, I can not be sure. It is certainly an excellent resource for knowledge and understanding of what it means and how to work from home or flexibly.

I really love how wholesome and interactive FlexJobs has been, but like many others in the job search, having no response to any applications is very disheartening. I even applied directly for a direct FlexJobs position and in the description, it said the hiring manager was not required to provide feedback on any application... as a recruiter I know it takes less than 45 seconds to send a rejection e-mail. Common courtesy still goes farther for businesses than "being busy" any day.

I had a mostly positive experience with FlexJobs as I am currently looking for a job with flexible hours and duties. Presently, my circumstances have changed to where I am currently aiming to become self-employed. In the meantime, I will definitely remember FlexJobs as it provides genuine offers of flexible employment. It is particularly useful for living in the UK as it is rather slim pickings when it comes to looking for flexible work from home. I will also recommend it to anyone I know who is looking for flexible jobs where FlexJobs can work from home.

The Flexjobs website has been very helpful in locating jobs that match my skills and desire to work from home. I have been looking and applying for jobs for 2 years. Resume is updated and a tailored cover letter is created for each application. Several of the applications progressed to the interview/testing phases but none have resulted in a job offer. Thank you lettered were sent after each interview. For one employer, United Health Group, I have actually submitted 12 applications with none resulting in an interview. My skills as a data analyst match the job requirements for these jobs very closely and Flexjobs shows many opportunities for UHG with, I think 25-30% of their employees work remotely. It comes down to my feeling that companies will not hire a person that is 71 years old even though I want to work 5 years or more. So... I am stopping my job searching and perusing other options for generating income - all of them legal. I want to thank Flexjobs for providing a very useful service for locating remote jobs.

Great service from what I can tell
Great service from what I can tell. I wish it was possible to change subscription status from a mobile device. My computer broke and I had no way of changing my subscription. I was not planning on continuing my subscription, but I do like the subscription options to pause, expire, or completely cancel. I do get many recommendations. I have not been able to apply anywhere due to my current personal situation, so I cannot review for that experience.

I hope my request for cancellation and not charging a subscription renewal in August will be accepted. I am confused that the information showing on this screen has my last renewal date of 8/8/2020 when the start date was 2/10/2020 and my last renewal date was 5/10/2020. Based on that, I marked my calendar to cancel before 5/10/2020. Please reverse any charges that have been made. I appreciate your consideration.

Great information and job search tools
Great information and job search tools. Website is very user-friendly. Excellent webinars and articles that are targeted and attuned to current job market conditions (very important!). Highly-useful in all respects in helping an individual prepare for, search for, and obtain a remote or WAH job. Customer service team is quick to respond, efficient, knowledgeable. And courteous. In addition, FlexJobs appear to be U.S.- Based. (shout out for Flexjobs!). All in all, this website is the BEST in it's class (i. E. for remote, flex, or WAH job options and opportunities). Please... keep up the good work of providing real value to job seekers.

This was an excellent way to find a job
This was an excellent way to find a job. It really opened up my mind to different positions I didn't know I could work remotely. My only concern was I felt like the positions were limited (there are A LOT of job opportunities but obviously not ones everyone is qualified for) and therefore I was up against likely 1000s of candidates and didn't even hear from companies. FlexJobs should suggest these companies reach out somehow so we know our status. I would absolutely use you guys again to look for a job in the future - I actually felt excited about what was out there instead of feeling the dread of looking. Thank you!

I HIGHLY
I HIGHLY recommend FlexJobs if you want to find a telecommuting or remote job. Within 3 weeks of signing up to FlexJobs, I landed a dream job of sorts as a remote health coach. I now will be able to take my kids to school and attend their functions (rather than spending over 2 hours a day commuting to and from work).

FlexJobs also has a plethora of informative articles to help you improve your chances of landing a job... from creating unique resumes and cover letters to how to interview.

This is one of the best decisions I have made! Good luck on your search!

I like Flex Jobs, you have a lot to offer, but need to streamline expenses until the pandemic ends. You should have a free option rather than canceling the account altogether, still seeing if you have a free option but hard to tell. One thing I'd like to also ask, could you offer some resources on how to "dumb" down or simplify ones resume. No one is dumb, not saying that. Saying that right now I'm overqualified for a customer service opportunity and now this is all I want as it's less stressful. I'm not sure what to remove to reduce my resume pushing me out of these regular entry levels jobs when I have so much experience. Teach me and others how to do that, please. Thank you.

I was incredibly skeptical about paying money for a job search. Generally speaking, in my experience, FlexJobs tend to be mostly bs and scams. I am happy to say I was wrong. I actually wasn't even really looking for a job I just wanted to see if it was real. I played around for a day searching and looking and there were a TON of options. Love the breakdown on the search that's pretty slick. I would have given it five stars IF I was actually looking and found a job but as it stands I don't know if it actually works. It just very much looks like it would if I was looking. It is definitely worth a 7$ gamble.

Lots of great information and tools for remote job search provided. At times the website is a bit overwhelming with so much information, yet all the information is indeed useful, important and perhaps necessary. The webinars are very helpful especially the ability to watch the recorded versions if you cannot attend live, Part-time employee remote jobs are few and far in between - if those become more plentiful and available listing those would be a great added benefit. Having a 6 month subscription category would be welcomed.

This was a very good resource for job searching especially for remote and flexible jobs. Used the resume review service, which I wouldn't recommend as there were errors remaining upon the return. Coaching session was help and reasonable, especially if you have not pursued a job in a while or want to do something different. One thing I think FlexJobs can improve is automatically marking a job posting and flagging you if you attempt to apply again to the same job.

Although I found a job outside of FlexJobs, I did get a number of interviews through using this service and a different job offer within a few weeks of signing up. I found the job search check list enormously helpful getting myself prepared for the job search process and it taught me a lot about how to refine my search. Would recommend this service to anyone and would definitely come back next time I'm looking.

My job search was ultimately successful, but I am giving Flexjobs four stars. Due to the sheer number of jobs that appeared on the Flexjobs site, finding one that matched my skill level took a long time. The quality and suitability of jobs vary widely, even if I perform a highly detailed advanced search. For example, demanding jobs at a particular company that I know compensates employees poorly appear in every search alongside better jobs at reputable companies. Jobs posted by terrible employers often appear to be good matches when they're not, so it can be difficult to differentiate between the good and bad. I recommend more stringent vetting of companies that post on Flexjobs. This would hopefully improve transparency, which will save job seekers time and effort. In other words, job seekers can focus their efforts on jobs that fit best and pay appropriate wages.

Would be nice to see global companies iclusive on South Africans. Not much jobs/companies that cater for South African professinals, mostly US looking for US employees. Some of us are specifically looking for roles in EST, CAT and inticing perks in most US time zones as that balances our work/life even though we're in a completely different time zone. Would be nice to cater much for the African regions

I could not be more impressed and over the moon with my experience. I really didn't get a lot of feed back from my applications, but let's be real: I have been out of the game for five years. I did however, utilized every tool here and learned that my resume was trash and cover letters are now the most important game changer. Once I started exploring the page and not just trolling all of the postings, I actually started getting quality results.

Quality service with many tools for updating resume
Quality service with many tools for updating resume. I ended up being sick for a month shortly after I got my Flexjobs account so did not have a chance to use it as much as I wanted to then happened upon a job locally but if not for that I would have more aggressively used your services. If this job does not work out or when it ends I will be back without hesitation. Very worth it.

I feel like FlexJobs will be a very helpful option to those who are seriously looking for remote work, or to branch out to places in need of experienced talent. Unfortunately for someone like me who has very little overall experience, I just couldn't find a match at this time. Either the remote work I found was way beyond my certifications, or the jobs I could physically work at were way too far away. I ended up settling for a job at a local vacation timeshare. This isn't at all the fault of this website; I honestly should have been more diligent in my search. But I'd gladly use this website again in the future if I'm ready to get more serious about considering remote work.

I was excited to find FlexJobs a while back
I was excited to find FlexJobs a while back. It showed up just when I needed it. Through FlexJobs I have indeed found a couple of part-time and freelance jobs, learned a bit about resumes and cover letters, and enjoyed many of the articles shared on this life-changing platform. I appreciate the education I've gotten here, I have already been telling people about it, and I am grateful for the jobs I have found (and that have found me). Thank you, FlexJobs!
