Im a shop owner, I am old school where I like to order in the phone, human conversation. Got a quote by text for motor and core price. Went ahead and ordered online with my card. Then you have to call for them to go over it with you to confirm. Fraser fail to send you in a text quote or while you're ordering online that there us an additional $349 for shipping, $149 for No Fault warranty. They tell me a total. I approve. Then I get an email for much more. They failed to add in the shipping. I was going to cancel then after much talkin. They fixed it.

Disrespectful
Anthony at the front desk was beyond un helpful and disrespectful. Name calling and beyond rude. We are a local family owned business. We were ordering a 4,000 dollar motor. When Anthony decided "i couldn't care less if you do or don't order from us" his words. When asked to speak to someone else or a manager he proceeded to say he was the manager and refused to transfer us to someone else because of our "attitude" when we apologized and asked how we had attitude as we are simply just trying to order a motor. He said "im not asking you if you have attitude i am telling you" "im not asking you im telling you who you are and how to be better if you want training ect ect" ive been in customer service for over 20 years and I've never experienced even my worst employees talk to customers like this. He has interrupted us screamed at us and refused to let us even talk. Listen to the calls. This guy is beyond disrespectful. He has now called us back multiple times and just keeps insulting us and calling us names. I have the calls on recording and I will be blasting this everywhere and I will make sure that none of our customers and business ever purchases anything from this place again. Future buyers beware as Fraser won't help you or warranty their stuff when it fails either. This company needs to get their counter straight because this is not okay.

They were quick in delivery...
Fraser were quick in delivery... it showed up in tractor trailer. Wiith lift gate... the pallet jack did not fit the pallet the motor was on... that made it very hard to unload. I had to take a pickup truck and back it up to the lift gate and man handle the motor on to my truck... they could not get that truck down a 80 foot open drive way. With a large clear path... there delivery sucks big time... also... i kept my old motor. So i got charged usual core charge... plus 200.00 for simple wooden pallet with 2x10 blocks on it to hold motor on it... that was a rip off... what happen to plastic motor shipping crates...

Shady company who offers 5 year warranty because they don't honor any part of it
Bought engine and transmission for customers vehicle both appeared great up until 480 miles into breaking and the transmission failed and no longer pulled. Fraser replaced transmission but refuse to pay labor rates per warranty claim. Their arguement is transmission works as should on bench tester installer at fault. I have emails text messages and phone calls where a ceo and vice president of the company stated they would fix this and pay what was due. 2 months after still nothing. But a bunch of lies. I don't recommend buying from them unless you don't want a warranty or don't mind paying labor multiple times because they don't honor it

This place is a scam

As for as not returning my core I was told by Frasier not to return it when I tried too. To keep from getting the money cross up because that was a refund.
Below is pictures of what there tech sent me Pack after they inspected the engine. They sent me back the motor all broke down and Paul said your warranty voided. Wow

My online experience has been very good!
My online experience has been very good! Sadly I called several weeks ago only to deal with very poor customer service attitudes. The person who answered did not speak very clearly, and placed me on hold without any notice. The next person answered with a bothered spirit. It seemed like I was making them do something that Fraser did not want to do! From all that I read, these engines and transmissions are the way to go for quality! If their customer service matched their product quality, my experience (and the experience of potential customers) would be great.

Not Cool
Order an engine mid July. Male who answered was rude and hung up when I asked about different warranty options. I needed the engine so I called back and ordered it. Within an hour the core price went up. The final price was 17% more than original quote and some of that we know is taxes but 17%?. I was told 2 weeks before delivery and when I asked for tracking number I was told they'd call me back in a week with it. I had to call them a week later and was told the engine I bought "didn't dyno test right before shipping" and Fraser had to order parts and it'd be another 4 -6 weeks. I waited an additional 4 weeks and called to find out status because I needed to get the vehicle back. Zero information available and I had to leave a message for someone else. Called the following day and was told that the engine had not yet shipped and that there was "nothing in the notes" about the status or ETA. I was asked me if I wanted to cancel the order. I asked for a few days to think about it. The rep said they would not cancel the order yet, they would wait until I got back to them because they "didn't want me to lose my place in line" – which I found to be a very strange comment since I had already paid for the engine a month prior – I shouldn't be in any line - I already paid for it. The following day I called to cancel the order. I was told I had to speak to a supervisor. That man was abrupt and when I asked him to email me a confirmation of the cancellation he said I'd have it soon. We never received the cancellation confirmation so I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was given a conditional refund. Now its another month later and the credit card company reapplied that huge charge back on to my account, supposedly sent me a notice which I never received. When I looked at the letter they sent, which they directed me to on their website there was no rationale or details about the response from Fraser Engines, but they would not have reapplied the charge if Fraser Engines had been honest about the failed and cancelled transaction. So 4 hours later and 2 additional calls to Fraser Engines and we just got an email saying our credit card has been refunded... no return calls, just the email.
Based all all available information it appears Fraser Engines never had the engine they sold and charged us for 2 months ago and they not only never processed the cancellation refund, they were dishonest when contacted by our Credit Card company about the dispute.
Since we already wasted 2 months on this BS we figured it was worth spending another 20 minutes to warn others.

1. My engine has a torn seal at a knock sensor. I can't repair it without voiding my warranty.
2. It was delivered with a tractor trailer so I had to have my wife meet it in town with a trailer.
3. It didn't come with most of the installation kit parts listed, water pump, thermostat, air filter, oil filter or spark plugs.

Not even two years ago Bought a 5.4 engine with five year unlimited mileage warranty, Had a problem The first month with it leaking oil had to have a oil pan gasket put in it, #Warranty was an eight month waiting Nightmare process with dozens of calls, was a total joke,, Now the engine is down again with a bad engine head the Ford dealer is telling me, dread going through this #Warranty process again, not only that I have to come up with $3000 to pay for the head and the labor and then wait for the warranty and hope Fraser cover some of it!

I already left one text message and several emails explaining how I would understand but I wanted to hear something still haven't gotten a response so I'm getting very tired of waiting I guess in about 10 minutes I'm going to quit looking for a quote and just give the man a price on what he can get a good used hemi for cuz I already have that no offense and I hope you're not that short staffed that someone couldn't responded a quick manner when Fraser told me my quote was being processed and I'll have an email shortly with the price that was 2 hours ago I would think I could check exactly just saying like I said 10 minutes I'm done

Issues getting my core refund
As far as customer service and warranty team is excellent. The first engine that was sent had chewed up threads on the crank. I called talked to Paul he squared everything away had a new engine delivered the next day. So far everything was awesome. Until it came to getting my core refund. Now they're saying Fraser couldn't find it or it was never picked up. Of course they picked up the damaged unit and my core at the same time. They picked them up a week and a half ago and still nothing. My advice keep your original motor and sell ot locally you'll get more than 450 for it. Hopefully they make this right, like they did with the defective engine. But all in all their engine is running like a champ. I would recommend them to others but wouldn't recommend sending your core back to them.

I called to get the exact price of an engine I need for a 2007 Ford F-150 truck. I tried to give the guy that answered the phone the vin number because I need an accurate price so I can get the engine ordered. I understand he was busy but he was short, curt and wouldn't take the vin number down to get me a price. Just asked make and model. The price he gave me is nothing like what i got when I put the information in on your website. I need someone to give me an exact price for a specific motor so i can get my truck fixed.

Well, you ask me to rate my experience. The only thing i experienced so far was i put in info for a quote on an engine that's it. I have not received that quote yet. So i think a 2 star rating is pretty reasonable. If you want a better rating, than you should not ask before i, or anyone has an actual experience. I normally would ignore this, but it seems that people want to get rewarded before Fraser even perform. Ego has become more important than quality it would seem. When i get a quote, and if i do business, i'll give a qualified rating...! Thanks, so far!

I have try to work with Fraser Engines for about 2 weeks? Week 1 call to ask questions and the person seem to have a an attitude? No biggie so i went on line so some one can call me back Fraser was cool so like everyone i went looking around for quotes? Can back and was told someone will call you back in 15min. 4 day laters i said ok put in a purchase again was on hold and no one answer so i hung up. Call back at 5:30 pm 5/12/21 and i was told they can"t hear me? So i hung up? So i will go with another company that is cheaper i just have to wait 8 weeks. You guys either need more help but customer service is customer service and no one or company should go through this.

They don't honor their warranty!
We purchased an engine in October 2020. It was a diesel engine for one of our work trucks. After installing the engine with labor and the materials for the engine we paid out $17,000. In June 20 21 the truck has approximately 7800 miles on that engine and it failed. We started a warranty claim with Fraser engines. Fraser informed our mechanic on how to trace the problem with the engine. The front cover failed it was allowing water to mix in with the oil in the engine. They refused to warranty the engine. They offered to send us a new front cover and not pay any labor for diagnosing the problem. Our truck has had water and all mixed together in the engine and in the radiator fuel pump and turbo for the last five months. We have timed an attorney and he made us aware that Fraser has a stipulation in their warranty that any claims against them Hass to be filed in Michigan. So now we are obtaining an attorney in Michigan to fight them for this warranty. We live in South Alabama but we are willing to drive to Michigan as many times as it takes to fight this case. They need to know that people are tired of being taken advantage of! We are so disappointed in the fact that they are not warranting their product. Thanks Dana Sasser

What a wack job
What an idiot. Ordered a motor reluctantly since such bad people skills of the salesman. He said motor would ship "tomorrow", a week later i asked him about the shipment. He said it would ship on thursday and if i got no confirmation to call back on friday. I called on friday and he said it was shipped and i should recieve confirmation same day but if not any confirmation by monday to please call back and he would look into it. Monday came and went so on tuesday i thought i would give the courtesy call he requested of me. Wow, i was not expecting such s rude pr. K! I did not even say hello and his words were, "is this patrick"? I said yes, and that is when he started laying into me. He smarted off didnt i just get off the phone with you, your an unruly customer, i should just call and turn the truck around, you have no right calling me. I snapped back that his empty promises and the fact he had $4000 of mine was justification enough as well as he was the one requesting my call. I also let him know that once the motor is shipped, he literally cannot turn the truck around nor has he shipped my motor. Positive part of this purchase: full refund.

Lincoln 5.4 3 valve rescue..
Thank you so much Fraser Engines, for helping me get over the 5.4 3 valve cam phaser blues... I done my homework on looking for a new improved 5.4 and I found it at Fraser Engines... All the upgrades that were done on their engines made it more easy to breathe knowing Fraser have corrected all the problems that Ford did not... I went to Ford dealership where I live, and they wanted $6800 to put new engine in and I ordered mine from Fraser and had a shop to install and still all under $5000. Thank you very much Fraser Engines, I will be a repeat customer and telling all my friends. Now my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT runs like a new one.

Have asked several times how much the veterans discount is and always get the same answer we're get right back to you with that. Can someone please let us know so we can make sure we have all the money for an engine and can order it. We have a disabled granddaughter we have raised and cannot take her places as we have no vehicle in which to take her. We must depend on others to help us get her where she needs to be in a vehicle with air. Along with that Mike is totally disabled also. We have two people depending on getting a vehicle fixed and has ac. Please have someone send us the price along with the amount of VETERANS DISCOUNT!

Why I needed to be disciplined with his refusal to allow me to make another Credit Card payment should be looked into. My story is, I bought a motor that you did not have and you cancelled the transaction. Another transaction was not permitted because he was inconvenienced by me not buying the up-sell in a timely manner; someone was having a bad day I guess. Tell him I said goodbye.

Lots of info on Fords failings with the 5.4 three valve engine. Good to see some honesty about this engine that should have been recalled from the get go but wasn't for some reason. Good to see that someone has taken time to correct the problems instead of sending back out an inferior product that will only fail again in the long run. Too bad it has to cost so much but cleaning up other people's messes is expensive. Ford should commend Fraser for there devotion to quality that FoMoCo used to have and drove Fraser to fix the obvious failures in the 5.4 and make it an acceptable engine for Ford loyalists that got the shaft from Ford's engineers and corporate leaders that out out an inferior product Fraser knew was below par but didn't care enough to change. Thanks Fraser Engines for picking up FoMoCo's slack and giving us a product we can be proud of.

I order a Ford 5.4 engine in June of 2020. I wanted to give it a few months and some miles on it before I reviewed the engine. With almost 4,000 miles on the engine, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. My mechanic said it was one the nicest looking engines out of the crate that Fraser had ever put into a customer's car and the only remanufactured engine they have installed that did not have any code issues when they went to fire it up for the first time. My MPG has increased by 4 mpg from the original factory engine.

I've been trying to get in contact with a manager because I've been trying to get information on a purchase I wanted to do for the 2012 Chevy Express 3500 6.0 l engine I call like 3 weeks ago I spoke to a young lady on a Friday she told me that Fraser were going to call me back on Monday I waited Monday and Tuesday I'll call again they told me they were going to contact me again and so far nobody had contact me with a quote and finally I asked for a supervisor this gentleman named Hector call me up and I couldn't hear me too well so we started talking as best as we could and he started complaining about customers and they cannot talk right and sometimes that sells people get frustrated with them and everything else I don't know why the conversation started our way or end up like that because when I saw the room going nowhere and he started talking about all the things that they have nothing to do with my phone call but he was trying to avoid what I was just trying to tell him that I've been trying to get in contact with somebody and at the moment that we were talking I was in the bad area so the reality I don't know and at this point I really don't care I'm trying to do a purchase with your company and I don't like in all honestly for another manager he's not Hector to call me at *******005 me being a businessman I understand that a lot of times there's a lot of customers out there they're hard to deal with but it's always a way to treat especially the people to meet your help meet your service and they're willing to go the extra mile and pay the price meaning for the parts for the engines transmissions etc customer service in the companies everything and sometimes you have to learn how to refuse situations especially if you are a manager tell you the truth I don't know why that conversation end up like that but anyway. Took 2 weeks for them to get back to me. After I placed my order online. To actually finish my order process. You can never get a hold of someone from Fraser. Fraser run all their calls through a call center who screen their calls. Which they tell you that they will relay your massage to that department. Finally after I receive my engine. They didn't send all the part that went to engine I ordered. And I went with their gold standard engine. Which is what they recommend. I would suggest ordering your engine elsewhere.

Purchased engine and transmission and extended (life) warranty... small problem, after about 30k miles, leak coming from transmission in two places. Placed several calls and told a message will be given to Paul and have him call me back. He actually did call me back once requesting numbers off the transmission that I do not have. He indicated he would call me back, several days go by, no call. I called him... again, will get him a message is what I hear... no return call; called again, will get him a message and again, no return call; call him again, will get him a message etc... I feel I am being avoided and the problem is so small... makes me wonder if Fraser will be there for us if we have a component failure... no real confidence.

When I was ordering my engine the guy answering the phone was an $#*!. I had to call back and the next two times the guy was very rude. I tried to order the motor on Friday but it was too late. But when I called the lady was very nice. I ordered my engine on Monday and was thankful I didn't have to talk with him other then me telling him I needed to confirm my order. THE ONLY reason I did buy the motor from you is cause my mechanic said your motors are great. But after the first call I just about said $#*! this. I just read this is for online experience. Well your operator or whatever is terrible.

Couldn't get past the terrible customer service
So initially I called them because I did not want to do the back & forth of email, just wanted to get a price. It appears that Fraser use a phone service to screen their calls because they said someone would call me back with a price. After 3 days, still no call back. They did return my phone call with an email that looks like spam stating "Follow up. Follow up. Follow up, We will match or beat any competitor's price" That was fine. So I replied with several questions, as well as, letting them know that I was down to 2 choices & told them what the other company gave me for a price. They replied with the same form email with no additional info. Now I'm getting upset. I'm simply looking to get an engine as quickly & cheaply as possible to get my business back up & running. I am stressed out enough already because Mercedes Benz is choosing not to honor their warranty and now I have this company playing childish games. So this was my reply "If you guys don't want the business just let me know. I am making a decision today. Thank you" Guess what they do? Reply with the same form email with the addition "Lol" What kind of a business does this type of stuff? I called several ways to bring my (as soon as I bought it from a friend & xwife) lemon into a good place & it's a good thing my like of the car is so good I want it fixed. Just think of all the new friends I've met looking. Anyway this morning 7/6 I called the order desk of Fraser Engine & Transmission. The associate - no commission, John had what I wanted, knew very well the issue at hand & professionally & friendly advised me. Of all the other calls I made for estimates Fraser came out tops. Thank you all very much.

OMG horrible right out of the gate
Asked for a transmission and engine quote and I was sent a screen shot of what is already on the website. The information provided was just the engine pricing and not the transmission. I asked for the Engine and transmission quote three times over text and again over an email reply. I never once received an quote for the transmission. I recommend taking down the option to get quotes if all your going to do is ignore what is actually being requested and just trying to brush people off with information that is already on the website. I was excited to do business with this vendor after hearing the August 7th podcast about their high ranking customer service. But turns out it was in fact the worst Customer service I ever encountered. This is just one conversation. I did not add the emails or the other person who text me also Or the other emails that tried to rush a review before I was even was given the information I requested. I added photos of the text, yes I misspelled words, but I was speed typing because I was frustrated at that point. This was the third contact I received from this company and I never was given the price of the transmission. I uploaded the text because I don't want this company to lie and say I am making this up. I know my rating doesn't count in this vendors eyes because after listening to the podcast, if you're not an "official" Customer Fraser just don't count your rating. Now I see why.

I went through the motions and got a quote online, then when I called to place the order, I was told this wasn't an accurate quote. When given the revised quote, the price had gone up by 50%. When I questioned what I was being quoted on, the salesperson got angry telling me that he had three of these engines, but now he only had one left and if I wanted it, I better act quick, or I would miss out.

Sounds like a classic case of "BAIT and SWITCH" to me! This is illegal, in case your weren't aware.

Worst experience I've ever had!
She purchased a motor from this company and thought we had made a great decision because we purchased the motor warranty. We have had this motor replaced once and repaired costing $1,444.77 in recent repairs. My husband travels for work and on his journey to work in Grain Valley, Mo it failed again leaving him with only the option to find a ship there which is 10 hours away from our home leaving us with another 400.00 in rental car expenses. You would think that if you purchase a warranty that you would feel secure not a chance I was told by Paul that his supervisor had approved him to pay this invoice and haven't spoken to him since. NO CALL BACKS IN 24 HOURS BUYERS BEWARE…I am disappointed in this service and the way we we treated after we paid the invoice sent pictures of the invoice twice and called …
