I am super impressed by the speed of delivery
I am super impressed by the speed of delivery. I love that there is a military discount! One guy that answers the phone though shouldn't be a in cs role... he is abrasive... when people call you Fraser are probably... like me... freaking out and desperate. Kindness goes a long way. Also I was told one thing about the warranty of the top of the line reman engine option and AFTER I paid for it and it was shipped the info I got said something completely different... like I didn't option the warranty... which I was told was the main reason to chose that option so I am worried about that.
The engine was gorgeous... can't wait til it's installed!
My mechanic is super impressed and plans to use you permanently! They already had another client order an engine from you this week!

Still waiting on a response
I have been trying to see if the warranty department would honor a replacement engine. At my initial email I was within my warranty with months and miles, I still have not received a word about a claim. The email started on 9/17/2021. Left a message with receptionist on Monday 11/15/2021 was assured I would here from someone within 24hrs this is Wednesday night I have not received call or email. Will update searching the web for replacement engine truck on its last leg ticking engine no good. The engine was definitely good until this time it was a pleasure having it in my vehicle just can't get information on replacement. Would say 5 stars but this is not pleasant

Purchased a 5.4 F-150 engine to fit a 2005, which most people know the factory engines are junk, mine blew a valve and ruined the engine at 181,000 miles, Fraser came through with the Gold Standard engine for me and shipping to install shop went smooth and core pickup was a breeze. The install went great everything went together fine. Runs great after break in period and close to 5,000 miles all is well. Thank you Fraser for not breaking the bank and saving me from purchasing another Truck. Any skeptics out there, Fraser is the real deal. Highly recommend!

The company is a complete failure
I have bought 2 engines and a transmission from this company. The 1st engine and transmission I bought in 2018, everything went good for both of those transactions, the transmission had a band failure 3 months after replacement, Fraser paid me to put another transmission in and everything was good. The 3rd engine I bought summer 2020, a basic chevy 350 K engine. First one they send, the camshaft is locked up, I luckily found that before installation. I then try to get another and that is when I found out what a failure their company had become. Your call now goes to a call center, they have no idea about anything and cannot transfer you to anyone. You'll leave message after message and make call after call taking up countless hours. Then when you get ahold of someone finally, you'll have to wait for another person to call you which takes even longer. Took 6 weeks and had to start a case with the BBB to get another engine, zero compensation was paid out for any of it. 6 weeks the truck sat waiting on them clogging up my garage. I finally get it done and sent the original and faulty engine both back, waited for the core money and it never came. Once again I had to waste more time calling and calling these people to push my core money back to me, like a baby sitter. The engine lasted until dec 2020, guy put 500 miles on it, started to make a cold start lifter noise. Once again I had to go through their call center and piss poor customer service. Took 3 weeks to finally get a claim started with them, kept being told a tech will call over and over again, once again countless hours calling and checking due to the incompetence that runs rapid at this place. I finally talk to their tech and am told, I have to buy the parts and labor will not be covered, then I can send the parts in and they may or may not cover them. So I ask why labor is not covered and was told it needs to go to a licensed shop, even though I am ase certified, Gm certified, it's not enough. They will only pay the shop $50 per hour, how many shops do you think charge that. So the customer is responsible for the rest even though it was their failure and fault. I then ask they guy to explain to me how they can tell if a lifter is bad and was causing the noise on cold start, he could not answer the question. I also brought up how I was paid labor to replace the failed transmission I previously replaced, he also could not answer the question. So their warranty is the customer pays for the parts, and either fixes it themselves for free or pays a shop to fix it, in other words it's toilet paper. Would advise anyone to look elsewhere for a engine, transmission or whatever else they will not stand behind. I've dealt with countless warranty companys throughout my 20+ years as a technician and this is one of them that will look for anyway possible to not pay a claim, a real company would have had this done and paid out the 1st week I called, a real engine rebuilding company would not have issue after issue with a basic small block v8.

Beware of "Parting Ways"
First thing... Danielle was Awesome! And should be in charge of the whole company. So I ordered an engine on May 5th and talked to Anthony. During that conversation he said that he saw an engine in stock in their Texas location and it should be here in Michigan around Tuesday and Fraser would call me to come and pick it up. I waited until the following Thursday and decided to call back. Talked to Anthony at which time he denied telling me that and said he told me 7-10 days which would have been fine with me in the first place but he took this very personal and looking back I believed I was "Doomed to Part Ways" at this point. On Friday Evening Danielle called me to say the engine was there in Shelby Twp and I could pick it up on Monday. I asked about how long they were there, how it would be loaded, etc. and she said all was good. Monday comes and I contacted Danielle again by phone just to make sure we were still good and she said come on down. So I leave work early, borrow a pickup truck from my son in law and drive out to Shelby. I get to the location, the overhead door was open so I back up to it and go inside. The first person I encounter is a man at a desk, he looks at me like I'm bothering him and we haven't even spoken yet and says "Can I Help You" I say "I'm here to pick up my Engine" (I have a mask on he doesn't) he YELLS! Back "What? I Can't Hear You" I remove my mask and Yell Back "I'm Here to Pick Up My Engine" Then Danielle comes out with my Paperwork and tells him what needs to be done. The guy shuffles into the back and finds my engine shuffles back and gives me the paperwork and says "it's going to be a few minutes" I say "no problem" when he returns he says "we have to wait for Paul to get back, he has the hi-lo keys, it's going to be a couple of hours or more, ""I WISH YOU WOULD HAVE CALLED TO SAY YOU WERE COMING"" I'll admit that at this point I am getting aggravated and I explain to him about my conversations with Danielle and that I did call. I ask "isn't there something else we can do"? He yells "why would you ask that question I already told you we don't have the keys to the hi-lo"? I said something about "You guys really need to work on your process" and he asked for my paperwork back. He goes inside and a few minutes later the overhead door closes and he calls my phone and says "I think that we just need to part ways. I am processing your refund and you'll get an email with the confirmation" I was shocked that a Business would drop a $2,500.00 sale because they could not accept responsibility for their issues and treat me with respect. All he had to do was be a "Decent Person" which he is not and say "I'm sorry but Paul took the Hi-Lo keys home by mistake and he's a couple hours out. He can come back and we can still get this done" I would have said fine and went somewhere to eat and came back. Instead he blamed ME! And took no responsibility for his companies actions. I have been in Customer Service for a long time and know how this should have been handled they he just didn't care. I did not get his name but will refer to him as Shuffles. Moral of the story "Beware of Parting Ways" I would not do business with this joke of a company.

Twice I was on the phone talking to Representatives...
Twice I was on the phone talking to Representatives at Fraser and Fraser were very rude pushing me to the point of sales not explaining anything or any of the question I ask and every time I spoke a sentence they were speaking over me, I had just put in an order or a 5.4 Ford engine got off the phone with the sales representative who told me to go to the website I put the order in on the website which told me to go back to the representative when done that was 6 hours ago a representative finally gets on the phone with me very sarcastic and pushing me to the point wouldn't answer any of my questions constantly throwing out prices because a person doesn't know much about cars or what is purchasing doesn't give you the right to act in that manner totally unprofessional customer service was terrible therefore I am cancelling my order a $5,000 SMH

Rude and obnoxious employee Anthony
I am still trying to get an engine from these people however Fraser do have a rude customer service named Anthony who wants to sell you the highest thing possible probably trying to get a very good commission but not my dime with that ugly attitude. I will be reporting him today. This ashore told me that they did not have anymore engines because I would not let him direct me to the highest price he would not answer any of my questions he told me that I was argumentive because I wanted to ask questions. I that $#*! don't like his job then he need to quite. I will be calling again to see If could talk to his supervisor and to see if I could finish conducting business with the appropriate people. As of right now I going to give this business at least 2 stars only because of that rotten apple they have in their company.

I am a retired Data Systems Analyst
I am a retired Data Systems Analyst. I have been writing HTTP code since 1992, appox 2 years before the World Wide Web (and I say this with some humor, and you have developed one of the most efficient presentations I have seen to date. If you maintain your technical infrastructure fault tolerant employing redundant failover technology in the hardware, maintaining the site as a living document (keeping the site updated) would be enough. I would recommend not following the herd and continue supporting older web browsers like Internet Explorer. There will always be customers left out due to a market shift in the latest and greatest despite older web browsers still in common use.

Your team has done a great job. Try not to lose that tread.

Keep up the positive results.

Fraser appears to be an excellent company for engines
Fraser appears to be an excellent company for engines. I looked at the videos. However Fraser are also impossible to get on the phone. The call center answers all calls and tells you someone will respond within 24 hours. The response and customer /technical service probably rate a 1. Even after placing an order and arranging payment, I could not get a reasonable response. I admit I did not know how to choose an engine, that is why I needed help. I was told "just look at the website". "I needed answers to very specific questions. They did not process my order. It was canceled. That was a good thing. I am using a different company now.

Very sketchy,
The sales department spoke to three different employees, Fraser all have the same attitude, I do not care. One of the times I called back, I told them their attitude and customer service was as sorry as you can get. He said they were not there for customer service, that they were there to sell engines. I finally was able to get someone to talk to me about warranty in what the motor came with, it was like pulling teeth. When I started questioning locations, he said he did not have to put up with this, that they were sold out. So I am looking at going with Jasper Engines.com. I am not affiliated with Jasper Engines, but I rather pay a little bit more and get quality service, Parts, and warranty.

My auto repair shop Flying
My auto repair shop Flying. A. Installed a rebuilt motor from Or raliey auto parts in Corning Cal. 96021. And have nothing but problem. So far it has cost me $ 7000. And still it's in the shop. First the oil pan started to leak. ( Did know it) the O raliey company does not weren't the oil pan leakage and the Flying A auto shop says there warenty is out of date Sometime I try to start it the engine starts on. 2 or 3 or 1 cylinder after several tries it finally will start on all four cylinder. The engine has been pulled out. 3 times at a cost of $500 each time it sounds like your engine may be better rebuilt. I've told Flying A auto shop Fraser maybe the bearings got damage with the oil pan problem they there is safety in not answering. I ve told them they should check the. C P U. Computer. They will not respond. $ 7000. So far and nothing can depend on to get any where. I've offered to sell it for $ 6000. He said. No.

2 failed replacement motors already,
Fraser Engines sold me a DIY motor, within a few thousand miles, had significant compression problems. Got a second motor from Fraser and this time Fraser made us use a shop to install. Within 400 miles on the second replacement motor, it failed. Upon inspection at the shop, the motor was built incorrectly. Now Fraser doesn't want to address the build quality problems on the 2nd bad motor and wants to stick me with the bill again. I've been without my vehicle since the middle of December (5 months) on the 2nd failed motor. If you are in the market for a replacement motor, I would strongly discourage using Fraser Engines. Both engine failures were mechanical, not due to install. The Fraser tech told me on the first failed motor (with loss of compression) that the problem was ethanol in the fuel.

Warranty claim
I am so disappointed with this company. I just bought a engine my husband installed it. The check engine light stays on. I called to ask what to do Fraser told us to take it to a shop to be diagnosed. We'll we took it to a chevy dealer. They didn't like they keep telling my husband we told you told to take it to a dealer. You would think they would want it to be inspected by a authorized GM service department. Paid for the extra warranty. The issue is the timing which is inside the engine so it's nothing we did. Fraiser is only going to pay for 2 hours of labor at $50 an hour. This is not our fault it came to us messed up. Not sure who else I can talk to. I keep asking for a service manager to call yet some lady keeps calling back saying I told you not to take it to a delaer. Not what you said was you don't have to take it to a dealer. My husband said oh no its going to a dealer to be properly fixed. This is ridiculous and disgusting. The turn around time for answers is also crap.

I simply can not give honest feedback about my experience...
I simply can not give honest feedback about my experience up to this point, due to the fact that all I've done is fill out three lines with my name telephone and email and select from a multiple choice area on five lines and press get quote. I basically filled out a form and am awaiting information. Honestly to this point I would say that I'm being generous with three stars, for multiple reasons. Firstly I have to wait to get the quote, which is unnecessary that's just forcing me to speak to someone over a telephone, which if I wanted to do that I would have called places instead of looking it up online. Secondly it takes an excessively long time for each option to load like when I select the make it takes 15 seconds for it to give me the chance to select the model that loads up all the options for the model when I select the model then it wants to give me another 15 seconds before I can chose the next line and the next line and so on and so forth. But again I can't give honest feedback when I've not had any real interaction yet because I've yet to get a quote. So three stars is kind of generous because the other places I've looked at thus far you being my third, two out of three were instant quotes right there. But I'm interested to see how honest your price match is where it says you'll match or beat any competitors price, and I'm curious as to the warranty. So if you guys actually do match or beat any competitors and if you have a decent warranty then it would go from a generous three to a five do the simple fact that in the end I get what I'm after for a fair price and there's nothing misleading about your site.

I call to place an order for an engine on 11/05/20
I call to place an order for an engine on 11/05/20. I spoke with an gentleman that identified himself as John Franklin an form me that he was one of the owners. He refused to allow me to speak to someone else that could handle an sale call respectfully. John was very rude sarcastic and disrespectful. Its was truly by far the worst customer service encounters I ever have had. I did not want to spend an penny of my hard working money at Fraser. But I have been researching this company for months in planning to replace the engine in my truck. Everything seemed to check out great until I call *******177 and spoke to John Franklin one of the owners. An total let down. The only way I was able to leave an review is because I made an purchase. I plan to keep my fingers crossed and give my lawyer an heads up on the transaction and pray I don't get screwed.

* is a smart ass and adds surcharges to the sale
Called today 9/11/2020 again after getting a run-around about two valve-3 valve engine. That Fraser said they couldn't tell from the previous call. Wasted two days and the previous guy said he couldn't tell from my VIN? So talked to this guy * who said he is the owner? After going thru what I want to order a 4.6 engine with gold option, he said he had to add a mandatory $99 fuel charge because of the weight? First I have never heard of this in three different calls to explain the charges. So I guess I'm fine and tell him I want to use the $100 coupon and he then tells me that by check or bank transfer. He says its right on the coupon, just not exactly as he said, it says e-check which probably has no charge back protections. So i ask to speak to the Owner, and he says hes the owner and he will pray for me? This deal got bad with all the additional charges and they even charge for the core upfront and make you prove return. Also the $99 fuel charge is just another fee as most trucking companies charge flat rates. The BS to take away protections of after sale for chargeback is unheard of today in this business, so if you do decide to do business here be wary and make sure its all in writing.

PS after posting this review on this site and others I got a text from *******612 that was run by someone at Fraser engines that reveled all of my bio and address. I will file a police report concerning this matter and will document to other sites

Sales & customer service
After my engine purchase I noticed on the invoice that engines no longer include the "free" installation kit as their on-line advertising states. When I called customer service to inquire about purchasing the installation kit( necessary for engine install) I can't seem to get an answer from sales. Two E-mails later... still no price quote or availability status. When you do reach a real person it seems like Fraser can't wait to get you off the phone line. They seem to prefer text messaging & E-mail responses over an actual phone call. I am hoping that the engine meets their advertising.

Spoke with some guy who had an awful attitude never stated his name. I had questions regarding core charge and best pickup location and he simply just didnt acknowledge them. Being a small business owner leaving a poor rating like this isnt what I like to do. If I had an employee speaking the way this "guy did from somewhere in Texas" I would terminate his employment on the spot. Fraser Engine Manufacturing, I would rather deal with faulty parts and part tracking issues then to be made to feel inferior and unimportant.

Communication with Warranty personnel vs. Customer satisfaction
I have purchased two engines and a transmission from Fraser in the last couple of years. If I were to grade their products based on these three items I would have to consider their output to be average at best. As for satisfaction with their warranty claim representatives, trying to get one of them to return any of my calls has been ridiculous and their efforts to get back with the Automotive Repair Shop should also be considered a complete failure. Trying to communicate with any of them causes complete and utter frustration. I truly believe customer satisfaction is not even a consideration. The repair shop and I have been led along for nearly three weeks only to find out that just now Fraser will send the repair shop a motor but only after another 4 weeks. Now that they have finally make an attempt at honoring the claim there is a nationwide shortage of 4.0 parts. Go figure. Now I will wager that after 4 weeks I will have to start calling again to find out why the repair shop still has no engine for my vehicle because they certainly won't be calling me. I am very doubtful that any future customer will get to see this feedback. I can only hope that those responsible for this horrendous experience are dealt with swiftly and effectively.

I called to get basic information over the phone about ordering an engine, and the agent was very short and not very friendly. He answer the phone saying "Sales". I was asking information about how the process works and it seemed like I was bothering him. I stopped asking questions and went to your site to read more about it, as he was rude and short. Good thing you have a great website with great information because that is the only reason I purchasing an engine from you. Hopefully the rest of the process is good, but first impressions was terrible and this should be fixed. Hire people that are happy to answer the phone.
