Garage Giant

After a long research I opted for the Swisstrax system for my garage and workout area. Swisstrax company was charging me about $300 extra for shipping, and Garage Giant as a Swisstrax distributor saved me that shipping cost. Thank you!
Items arrived in great condition, and delivery took less than a week from the time I placed my order.
Note: I missed to place an extra item on my original order, I called them and Garage Giant added it at no charge.

I've been working with Garage Giant this past year in completing my dream garage. I am always comforted by their professionalism and support through out the buying process. I wasn't expecting these companies to be operating at the moment but I got a great service from Garage Giant, my Ulti-MATE cabinets were a good price, delivered on time and Garage Giant make my garage look like a million dollars. At least I can get my garage in shape even if I have to stay home!

It's the end of the first business day after I ordered my cabinets, and I have not received any email except for the initial order confirmation. For items that cost such a high price I would like to see more transparency and email updates. Maybe a way to log in and see that my order does indeed exist. Anyway, 3 stars it is at this point. It could have been higher most likely if I had some idea of how my order is progressing.

I bought from garage giant again after a good experience in 2019. This time I was spending quite a but more as I was buying some ultimate garage cabinets so I called and spoke to a helpful guy and he helped me choose the right unit. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in my garage.

Website provided options competing sites did not; also made it easier to find options I wanted. Shipping & delivery were timely, even amidst Covid-19 conditions. Everything arrived as ordered and in good condition. Pricing was fair but not especially competitive. Over all a great experience. Would buy from again & recommend

I only just bought from garage giant so can't speak to their delivery or after sales service but I liked the site and had a useful exchange on their chat feature to help me work out the right amount of g-floor tiles to use. Thumbs up for now. I'll try to come back later and update the review when I have the tiles installed.

05/12/20 - The online store is ok. I just placed an order and needed to know the difference between v1 and v2 of a bamboo newage cabinet set, also questions about adding an led light system. There is no way to contact customer service just a voice recording asking to leave a message. Frustrating...

**********Updating my review above. I was contacted by customer service first thing the next morning apologizing for not being available to answer my questions from above. There is/was an error on the website, there are no v1 and v2 of the worktop that I selected. NewAge has been contacted to correct the error. I did write back to support several times today with additional questions and each time my inquiry was replied to quickly and efficiently. I left 4 stars for delivery time and products/services because i have not received the product as there is a 3-4 week delivery window and I have not physically inspected the product. Great job in keeping a customer... Thank you very much for going out of your way to make things right.

I consulted Steve from Garage Giant before I purchased a set of garage cabinets not wanting to receive it before my garage floor is done. After I send in my order, the vendor unexpectedly have the item in stock and sent it through for delivery within 2 business days. I called Steve and he was able to retract my order. Once my garage floor is done, I followed up with an email and received my shipment within 3 days. I am happy about their excellent customer service and prompt response when I needed the help. Thanks!

Received mediocre advice on the tabletop which I had to buy other pieces at Lowe's to make them work. Called NewAge For a fix, didn't have one, and Garage Giant knew it would be a problem. Also, there has been lots of back and forth with product issues and further replacement deliveries, which is not really Garage Giant's direct issue.

Unfortunately. There has been 2 shipping mistakes.
I received my shippment from garage giant the first week of Febuary.
11/2 weeks later I refused a second delivery of the same order.
Today I refused a third delivery.

Thankyou. For a great product but it is not in my makeup to screw a vender

I usually try to buy from independents as you get a more personal service and the Home Depots of the world don't exactly need another dollar do they? Well I'm glad I found Garage Giant. I wanted some tall cabinets for my garage to store outdoor gear and the like in and spoke to someone who was pleasant and informed. Ended up going for the UltiMATE brand units as Garage Giant look great and the price was fair. Haven't received them yet so will try to update my review when I do but very happy with the service here so far.

This company was great and very informative on my order. While Garage Giant were trying to get my order completed for the past several weeks that it took due to the current pandemic that we are faced with. My garage cabinets took longer than either I or garage giant expected but it was definitely worth the wait. The cabinets arrived undamaged and the quality of the product is amazing thank you again Steve for all your help.

I blame myself for not reading more closely, but I was very surprised when my Ulti-Mate storage system was delivered in 11 flat boxes. Assembly was comparable to IKEA furniture (almost no tools required; instructions in pictures rather than written) although the pieces are considerably more sturdy.

The staff at GarageGiant was helpful, but delivery was delayed by several weeks due to COVID.

Shipping was super fast. I think it arrived within a week from ordering. The cabinet materials seem high quality and sturdy (no issues so far from a month of usage). Assembly was pretty straight forward and simple. Could not be happier with the appearance and quality of these cabinets.

This was the best experience I've had erecting cabinets the directions were easy to follow the accessories came in the best container I have ever seen. Every thing fit great and the finish product looks GREAT I will be ordering upper cabinets to go with the lower units. The quality of the units was exactly what was advertised

Be patient, Very poor communication I had to contact the company numerous times for a shipping date or tracking number. All I was told is you will be notified when it ships. After four weeks I was finally contacted me to tell me that the order had shipped. I set an appointment with the shipping company, I contacted you should been company the morning of the schedule appointment Garage Giant said that it would be out that day. At 3 PM that day I contacted the shipper again who stated that they don't know why but it did not make it onto the truck, they set an appointment for the next morning which they fulfilled.
I like the product I misunderstood and thought it would be mostly assembled, it came knockdown in boxes similar to IKEA assembly.
I feel you have a lot to work on on communication and delivery the product is paid for at the time of ordering Communication is severely lacking.

Good experience overall. Found the outdoor cabinets I wanted for less than what the manufacturer was charging. Delivery was quoted as being 2-3 months out due to product shortages, but ended up arriving sooner. The countertop was damaged in transit but was quickly replaced (I believe by the manufacturer). Customer service responded quickly via email and resolved my issues. Would definitely use Garage Giant again.

I recently ordered new age cabinets and Garage Giant came almost 90% assembled. This order came Completely broken down and woth zero, assembly. I believe this is misleading when purchasing as I now have to have someone assemble these cabinets and pay to have this completed. I feel it is way to difficult to try and return as this is a large shipment

I just got some roll out flooring to fit out 3 elevators I maintain and the guy at garage giant was able to point me in the right direction (small coin finish, grey g-floor). I was worried I'd have a job getting them all fit right but turns out you can cut the g-floor with a utility knife so that'll be simple. Thanks to the guys on the phone.

Steve was awesome! I emailed the generic company email before going to bed with some questions regarding shipping. I was shocked to find an answer waiting in my inbox when I awoke. In the morning, I had a few more questions and decided to click on the chat button. I was so surprised to find the same person who had answered my email the day before. He remembered me and my concerns! He was personal, funny and so respectful. I really appreciate his honesty and being so upfront with me. Some companies just tell you what you want to hear to get the sale. I chose to do business with Garage Giant, not because Garage Giant were the cheapest but because of the five star customer service.

I ordered online, but had several questions and needed to arrange a shipping time when we would be available. The customer service via Chat and email were both personal and good with the representative following up as needed. When the product arrived we were amazed at how carefully and precisely it was all packaged to prevent any damage to the product. The shipping company was excellent as well, delivering after work and going above and beyond. We were very pleased all the way around.

Although it doesn't say it well on their website, my experience with the 75 mil vinyl "parking pad" sold by garage giant was less than good. The problem is that the vinyl won't "relax" and lay flat. Once I wrote garage giant for help, Garage Giant responded that the 75 mil parking pass had to be glued to the floor with acrylic adhesive, and rolled. But in Michigan, where I live, the temperature of the garage floor cement isn't supportive of acrylic adhesive installation until June or even July (50 degrees). So, I have to wait until the summer to have the parking pad professionally installed. My advice after all of this: Don't buy the 75 mil vinyl parking pad if you live in a cold climate until summertime. It's a great product, looks great and seems very resilient, but it won't lay flat easily.

I purchased my 6/22 and received it on 7/13. I was contacted by Mel on 7/2 informing me that Garage Giant expected my order to ship the 3rd week of July. Considering all that is going on the world right now, I was fine with this and anticipated it may be later than that. Well it was a pleasant surprise when I was contacted on 7/10 by Steve Mustarde informing me that my order had shipped.

All told, communication was great and I received the product earlier than quoted. Buy with confidence!

Garage Giant helped me with my order from start to finish. Due to Covid there were some delays, but understandable so due to the shutdown. There were also issues with delivery. In this case Roadrunner Freight was used and allegedly created damage in the delivery. That all being said, it was frustrating, but more about logistics and delivery. Thankfully, Garage Giant had my back and I felt completely supported through each challenge. The process has been a long time coming, but if you're patient, it is well worth the result. New Age Pro Series are stout and incredibly well built. It was their weight that I believe created issues in their shipping. That is no fault of New Age or the seller Garage Giant... it is a challenge Roadrunner Freight had to manage. Garage Giant as I mentioned was there for me the whole time and managed any problems I had and in many ways advocated for me with New Age in getting any replacement parts I needed. It was nice for a company, internet based, to have such a personal touch and exude top notch communication and concern. I would not hesitate in recommending Garage Giant in the future, and look forward to working with them again.

Steve Mustarde is literally the most helpful customer service rep I have ever dealt with. I buy from just about every big hardware and equipment retailer to outfit our 3 company warehouses and will now check Garage Giant first because of their dedicated fast service. Steve made the delivery process a breeze Thanks!

Every person I spoke with was very nice. The only problem I had was delivery took 1 month. Once I got my unit, there was damage not readily visible. I've been waiting for going on 2 weeks now, for the replacement. I'm told the pandemic is the cause for the delay in deliveries. Very nice product, though!
