While they do state they use Swarovski crystals on the site. The link I provided above specifically states that they are lab created white sapphires. Also see the pictures I posted.

The rhodium plating was scratched off a bit on the underside of my ring. See picture.
Ten minutes after making my purchase, the person for whom I ordered the ring saw the pic of it, and said that she did not like it.
Immediately, I asked for my order to be cancelled.
Rather than do the right thing and cancel my order, someone called "Jenny"repeatedly send me email advising me to pick out another item from their site in exchange.
I repeatedly answered her that I do not want a different item, that I cancelled my order and want my money ($129.00) refunded.
She refused to issue a refund.
I filed a request with PayPal to assist me in this; "Jenny" then contacted, me yet again, telling me that Jeulia cannot refund my money whilst there is a PayPal investigation, and she will issue refund if I cancel the PayPal investigation.
I should not have cancelled PayPal, but I just want a refund.
Finally, after 24 hours of this (remember, I cancelled the order approx ten minutes after purchase) "Jenny" agreed to refund my money, but added that it may take thirty days until I am actually refunded.
I then twice asked for written confirmation that my money would be refunded, and she refused to do this.
I contacted both my bank and the Sacramento BBB, where they have a mailing address (the company is in China and seem to be just like WISH) to assist me in getting my refund.
I need to stress that I cancelled this order within ten minutes of making the purchase.
I do not need this crap from a sketchy knock-off jewelry site; neither do you.
CAVEAT EMPTOR!
I received the ring and upon inspection the black coating on the ring was discolored. It had green spots on the bottom of the skulls as if it wasn't treated properly. The size was also too small... I wear a size 7 in every ring I have ever owned so that's what I ordered and it was too small (sizing must be off)
I contacted Jeulia via customer service email provided on their website. It took 3 emails before I got a response and by that time (over a week) I was so incredibly frustrated and disappointed.
During the time of waiting and waiting for customer service to email me back I had contacted Jeulia via Facebook. Jeulia apologized for lack of communication through email and told me they would take care of it.
I explained the situation and wondered what solution would work best. Well, this is where I got frustrated yet again. I was told that I'd have to pay $20 extra to have the ring customized to a 7 1/2 and that I'd also have to pay return shipping AND shipping to have a new ring sent back to me. I was not happy at all and requested a REFUND. Upon my request Jeulia worked with me on what I had to pay for. I ended up reordering a 7 1/4 size (which they said isn't much difference from a 7; it fits perfectly) also I paid to send the ring back to the facility and they paid to reship the new ring back to me. I don't feel like I should've paid for anything extra considering it wasn't my fault the ring was damaged upon arrival, but I really wanted the ring so I paid the $6.81 to send it back. I was assured I would get the ring for Xmas Eve... I did not. I only received it yesterday which was over a month from the date I ordered it.
Customer service via email was awful! Customer service via Facebook was better but still frustrating waiting days to resolve my issue.
Overall I'm happy because I have my ring, it fits and it's all one color but I'm not happy with my first time experience with this company. I probably won't be using this website again.
I know it's not Jeulias fault but they sent my ring back using DHL and DHL left my ring on my doorstep in my apartment complex. I don't live in a great neighborhood and I'm glad it wasnt stolen.
I do have to say, they asked me after it was said and done "how can we make you happy?" To be honest, short of getting my money back from shipping, there is nothing to make my experience better. It is what it is.
Its now Dec 13th and i have no ring. Ive emailed, called, facebook posted and messaged with NO response. The tracking number is useless and only states it was accepted in China.
Well its been 20 business days. At this point i want a full refund (including that $10 reshipping fee... even though their site says free shipping.)
***Update, in response to their reply below. Yeah, they contacted me late last night, at the same time the response below was posted. They make it seem like they responded to me ages ago and I overlooked their response. This is even after I got a hold of someone on the phone (yesterday around noon) I don't even know why you have a call center. The guy on the other end just kept repeating "It left Hong Kong on Nov 16/17" Yes... I already know that. I've known that for a month, it's the ONLY thing the tracking number provided me. I ask him for a supervisor and was informed there were no supervisors there and I would need to call back, 8 hours from now. He then told me they couldn't do anything til after Friday as that was 30 days from order date. When I worked with the person (this morning at 2AM) through FB messenger THEY were able to confirm the post office lost my package and they would reship the ring UPS Express, but oh wait, the ring is out of stock and now you'll need to wait another 14 days to get it (10 for processing, 4 for shipping)
Regarding an actual refund, Jeulia are relentless in providing nothing.
Jeulia is an overseas company (Hong Kong) that talks a sweet game on their website regarding "Customer Satisfaction" and their "Return Policy." However, it's a manipulative sham that you'll begin to taste immediately if you need to return a product: Starting with their way over-complicated filing of a return, then through the handful of emails where they begin to beg you to simply do an exchange (they keep your money). When you continue to state you simply want to return the product (brand new) for a monetary refund, they will continue to push a credit for merchandise (at 7 emails, w/7 different customer service agents, and counting).
Regarding an actual refund, they are relentless in providing nothing.
I've handled this, until now, in the most professional of manners with exacting communication and information as to avoid any delays. No matter. They are trained to stall, beg, literally beg, in an attempt to avoid returning your money. As I'm now reading other Jeulia reviews on websites other than Jeulias, I now understand this thievery of time (and maybe money, we'll see) is who and what they are.
**Update: After at least 10 back-and-forth emails with 10 different customer services reps (each trying to persuade/encourage/incentivize and, at times, beg, me to exchange vs. refund, the return and refund are now complete. They refunded my money minus the $10 shipping charge (and the $5 it cost me to ship it back [which is half the cost they charged me for shipping]). This process took 10 dedicated days to see through. It really wasn't worth my time to do this, but it was for the principle. This group is designed to wear you down into an exchange. It's a horribly frustrating, manipulating and embarrassing tactic of yesteryear and I'd stay completely clear from doing any future business with them.
PS: I hardly ever write reviews in the negative. This is/was entirely necessary
I ordered a ring and the wrong ring was sent to me. It's the same ring except aquamarine sidestones instead of sapphire. I called customer service and it literally took 10 minutes for the person to understand what the problem was. I was finally offered to return the ring (I'd have to pay the shipping) or a $10 refund when there is a $40 price difference or just shy of $30 if you apply the sale price and coupons I used at the time of purchase. For over a month I called and emailed asking for a supervisor bc they were basing the refund amount on the current price of the less expensive ring to the sale price of the ring I actually purchased. I continued to explain that this is unfair, the only fair way to calculate the refund would be the sale price of the ring to the sale price of the ring I actually bought at time of purchase or to calculate the refund off the difference of current price of both rings. Over a month later a supervisor finally contacted me and offered me a $15 refund or to return the ring (which I had no confidence in doing based upon the terrible customer service, nor was I willkng to pay for). Fortunately, I paid with PayPal and filed a dispute with them and they were able to get the company to give me the fair refund I was asking for.
The ring is very pretty, though I would've liked it much better if it was the ring I actually ordered but I will never buy from them again based on their horrific customer service! Buyers beware!
I was told different things with each email, as different people were taking turns answering me, even though it was all in the same thread. I am sure at least one of the people was spesking in broken English, which made it very difficult to follow with the already confusing, contradicting messages. Every morning I would wake up to a new email that sometimes ignored my previous response, and I would respond before even getting out of bed. I wouldnt receive a response until the next morning. It makes sense when i imagine I must have been speaking with someone on the other side of the world. Also, I cant even get a return address yet. The back and forth is ridiculous. I finally decided to just return this ring and not order a new one. It isnt worth it when the cost of shipping to me, plus the cost to send it back, then to ship a new one, all totals up to more than the cost of the actual ring anyway.
I believe Jeulia probably has nice rings and a nice price, and I think if you order the right one the first time, you would be very pleased. Otherwise, its a major hassle.
Here is their note:
Once we send you a return/repair instruction, you will have 7 days (business days, weekends, and public holidays included) to ship the item out to us. If you do not proceed with returning an item promptly, we will assume you no longer want to return/repair the item and will cancel your return/repair. You will thus no longer be in your return/warranty period.
While they were waiting to receive the returned item, I got a series of 8 back and forth emails trying to get me to accept store credit, rather than a cash refund through Paypal. First, they offered to include the shipping charge in the refund, I said "No, I want a cash refund, "then they offered an additional $12 store credit, I said "NO, I want a cash refund", then they offered an additional $10 store credit which I said "NO, I want a cash refund." So they said, OK we will issue a refund for the purchase price minus their shipping cost, to which I agreed.
When they received the returned package, which included the ring, a cheap key chain that THEY had included as a "FREE GIFT", a Jeulia catalog, a small paper gift bag, they emailed me that they received the ring, but not the "free gift" key chain and so would have to deduct $10 from the refund. I objected and stated that I DID include the key chain in the returned package and the key chain could not be worth more than 50 cents. I got an email back showing their website picture of the key chain selling for $39 (unbelievable rip off, if a true picture), so I guess I was supposed to be happy that they were only going to charge me $10 rather than $39 for their saying I failed to return it. This was the icing on the cake. After failing to get me to accept store credit, their strategy now was to minimize the refund. I realized that they were using bait and switch tricks, sending a "free gift" that they could try to charge for, even when it is returned I finally filed a complaint with Paypal and assume that Paypal will refund the total due minus the shipping charge. I also paid for insured return shipping for which they supposedly give a store credit of $10.(but who needs it if you are never going to order another thing from them?)
I have been to China about 13 times in the last 10 years and have dealt with Chinese traders who hate to lose a sale and will do anything to try and recover a sale or a portion of it. Because Jeulia is based in Hong Kong and has a shipping office in California (Howard JEULIA JERE, 4801 Littlejohn St. Unit H, Baldwin Park, CA 91706), I thought they might be a more reputable company than Chinese mainland companies, but I am very disappointed in their cheap quality products, poor customer service, and unbelievable red tape and obstacles to get a refund and make things right.
My advice: AVOID JEULIA JEWELRY AT ALL COSTS. Do what we ended up doing. Go to a reputable jeweler to buy your jewelry. A reputable jeweler will have all ranges of prices, and will give you personal, in person service, and you will know where to find them if there is a problem. With Jeulia, You only get what you don't pay for -- cheap Chinese junk.
Long story short: Wanted to return a ring - you have to call them for a return authorization and send photo proving that you haven't removed the sizing tag from the ring (no refund if removed) - after several tries to call them, finally got through - was subjected to a VERY HARD sell to do an exchange instead of a refund and I had to immediately email them a photo of the ring with the tag still on it before Jeulia would go any further - emailed the photo and held my ground that I wanted a refund and the phone rep finally told me that he would email me the return authorization code and return instructions - never got the email and by then it was getting close to the 30-day return period expiration - tried calling back, got a continuous busy signal over 2 days - sent angry email demanding return instructions - they finally responded, telling me that no authorization code is necessary, just mail the ring back and BE SURE TO EMAIL THEM WITH THE CARRIER AND TRANSACTION NUMBER BECAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN TRACK MY RETURN - sent the ring back the next day thru USPS INSURED and immediately emailed them the info they required AND ASKED THEM TO CONFIRM RECEIPT OF MY EMAIL - never got a reply - after another 5 days with no response, filed dispute with PayPal - it's been 60 DAMN DAYS and I'm still waiting for resolution and now I don't have either the ring or my money! Needless to say, I'm also losing faith in PayPal as a safe and PROTECTED payment method.
I am going to post this review on every one of their FB ads until I get my refund!
My fiance and I ordered my wedding ring through Jeulia. The band was EXTREMELY small and looked very cheap compared to the images Jeulia had shown. I am used to wearing ZERO jewelry so I wanted a very small band, but this band was INSANELY small even for me.
I spent a good 30 minutes looking over their return policy making sure the ring wasn't custom upon ordering, because I saw there was a 30% restocking fee to return custom items. But upon trying to return it, customer service tried to tell us the ring was custom and we needed to pay the ridiculously high 30% restocking fee. We tried calling them to clear it up, sure it wasn't custom, but their management "does not speak with customers over the phone".
We had gone back and forth through email trying to clear things up, and it turns out the wording in their policy is incorrect. I looked up the company on Better Business Bureau and I found TONS of customer complaints with the exact same issue we had. Customer upon customer ordering a ring they thought was standard and then Jeulia coming back and saying it was custom and the restocking fee must be paid to return. We tried explaining to Jeulia the incorrect wording in their policy, and I even tried negotiating to pay half of the restocking fee, but they were completely unwilling to work with us at all.
If you order from them, do NOT expect to return without paying a very high restocking fee, do NOT expect the company to care or work with you if something doesn't go right with your order. Expect cheap and small jewelry that is the equivalent of wrapping a small wire around your finger.
I was excited to see the package and deeply saddened when I opened the box to discover the "made to order" ring was missing two stones on the side. I contacted Jeulia first thing the next morning and they advised I would need to send them pictures with the ring showing the tag in tact and then they would send me an RMA. I did as instructed (immediately) and days later I received RMA information.
I then attempted to communicate via email for updates and it would take 2-4 days for a response. I tried via phone but was either on hold too long or the call would disconnect.
Finally I discovered the online chat feature (best form of communication with them) and utilized that. I am still awaiting my refund (today is January 19th) for the ring, they received and signed for it on January 4th per my UPS tracking number.
The ring was beautiful, but the customer service of Jeulia is not acceptable.
I work in customer service and since the ring arrived damaged due to their lack of inspection they should have expedited a ring to me with a return label for the defect product. I spent $20 to have their defective product returned, I paid for a fast shipping time I did not receive and the communication gaps are horrendous.
I do NOT recommend Jeulia.
After January 1, I contacted the online chat again. The tracking showed the item was still in the "accepted" mode with no movement. They told me it was delayed by US customs and to wait a few days. A week later, same thing. Today, Jan 11, I received the same response. I called them out on it and said to PROVE it was in the US and stuck in customs delayed by the USPS. I threatened to contact USPS, the BBB and my credit card company to report fraud if they could not prove it. I was then told it was stuck in China in their customs. WHAT? Are you serious?
This company is a sham. They create tracking numbers that are not traceable, lie to you that it has actually been shipped, blame USPS for the delay (check all the responses here from the company), blame US customs, them blame China customs when pushed. I will be forwarding all m correspondence with them to the appropriate authorities.
And so I contacted the customer representatives for a refund.
After which, I was told to take pictures of the jewellery and that if everything checked-out, that I would be eligible for a refund.
Everything was fine, and I then proceeded to ship the items back to them with tracking, which cost me all of $23 CAD
Following this and upon confirmation receipt of the ring set, I contacted Jeulia again(via chat) to confirm the arrival of the products. Since it had been nearly a week since they received the items without any updates - to which I was told to enter the tracking into my account and where they would finally acknowledge receipt and told me they would then process the refund.
Two days later, I received a notice saying they had credited my account!
I then contacted customer service once again and asked why they had credited my account after agreeing to process a refund - only to be told that they could not process a cash refund since I had "manually processed a return"
How crazy is that?
At any rate and several weeks later, I can thank god for Paypal buyer protection!
And so word to the wise my friends...
When Jeulia.com decides to rip you off with cheap tactics to keep your money, do yourself a favor and buy your products using the Paypal payment process. And don't forget to inform Paypal of the the deplorable service you received from these charlatens, as this will help remove these parasites from the economic gene-pool!
BUYERS BEWARE!
Don't give your hard earned money to these thieves.
You ill never see it again, no matter what you do.
