Bait and switch! I loved the template and how easy it was to do. But I think the lack of information regarding payment BEFORE you start is deceiving. I looked all over the site, looking for any information regarding cost. I not only didn't find any actual prices, it does say "Free" resume when searching. I did pay for the service, but I will not recommend anyone who wants "free" or even ethical service.

I didn't like being told at the very end how much I was going to be charged after I put in a bunch of time and energy. You should be more upfront and transparent about costs and you should definitely have a one time purchase option and not only auto-renews. Super annoying

I like this program, but the comments included in the recommended statements section need to be changed to include "person-first language." For example instead of saying, "Special needs children" the comments should state "Children with special needs." No employer worth working for would hire someone who uses language like "mentally challenged students" or "special needs students."

This program made me go all the way through creating a cover letter without warning me of the cost. That seems sneaky and deceitful. Have people pay up front so JobHero don't think they are getting a free service and then fell obligated to pay or lose their work.

Your walk-through was very helpful, but it is kind of annoying that I have to pay right off the bat just to download the thing you helped me create. I would have more likely agreed to a subscription had there been some kind of free trial or one free download, etc so that I could have judged the quality before paying. Instead, I will most likely cancel immediately. I'm broke and looking for a job because I'm broke. I don't have a lot of money left as is.

Just getting started and I already appreciate the service! Yes there are a lot of options you can use in the drop downs, but JobHero really serve as a reminder to how much you actually do, day in and day out. This helps you add the most important bullets, even ones you could, and might leave out, in order to confidently comb through and reduce each job description to its strongest, concise explanation.

Nice service but disappointed that Job Hero was not transparent about costing money beforehand. It tricks you into spending a lot of time on a resume, only to take you to a payment page. If you would have been up front with the cost, I would have given 5 stars.

My job experience doesn't fit the norm. There isn't enough flexibility within the templates to reflect non traditional jobs, like Costume Crafts Artisan. I need to change jobs and explore a whole different field because of theater closures due to Covid19. There is no way to edit "education" so that every education experience I listed has No Degree in BOLD letters as the first thing a prospective employer sees. I won't lie, but I'd rather say 3 years of Theater Arts at such and such a university instead of NO DEGREE.
I worked for 4 hours to tweak the template to reflect my experience.
AND I wanted to download the finished resume so I can correct these issues, and then I find out that I have to pay for it. Why don't you tell me this up front instead of at the end when I've spent 4 hours working on it? I used your website because a career coach at WorkSource Oregon suggested that you had good examples and suggestions. So I just proceeded. I'm willing to concede that the template was helpful and the process you used was helpful, even if I couldn't use many of your examples without totally reworking them to fit my situation. The closest you come to Costume Crafts Artisan is Costume Designer, which is close but needs much tweeking. I'm hoping to download my resume and then I need to fix it, especially the education section. It looks nice, so I'm good with paying $2.95 for the template and the process. But then I need to cancel. I won't need to download any more resumes.

My first time using a resume website service. I really like how I can load my existing resume and have it automatically format. I also like how it gives me various ways to re-word and write my resume. It helped to take away the overwhelm in re-writing and re-formatting my resume

At one point the program froze up and wouldn't allow for work bullet points to be generated, but I moved on, and then came back after completing 2 more additional jobs, and it was working again. I have not explored yet whether this site has government resume formats though.

It was easy to navigate and add my own ideas with the well thought out examples,. So i wasnt that upset when i had to pay for all my hard work at the end to save or print it. It gave no indication at least that i saw prior to the end that it would cost. Hope i get a new job!

Amazing! More people should know about this! Saved me so much time and gave me words to describe the valuable skills I performed daily. Sometimes you find yourself at a loss for words when you try to describe a task you've done over and over.

Good resume summary. I was unable to make changes and had to call for help. The representative had to send me both documents via email. No response from the technical center concerning the problem.

Customer service helped. But still couldn’t make changes to the document.

The resume looks nice but went through the whole process before it told you you'd need to pay to download a copy of it and will auto bill you in 14 days if you don't cancel. Just be upfront with pricing and stop charging subscriptions, just charge per download.

Overall a very good platform. Appreciated the ability to view my basic information within multiple cover letter styles. Could be easier to swap templates or paragraphs and the blue highlighting couldn't be reformatted, so I had to work around that.

You do not state from the beginning that there is a fee for creating a resume. Only after hours of work I cannot download as I need to pay for it. You need to make this clear from the beginning so I could choose to continue or not. Now I feel pressured to pay a fee which I am definitely not happy about and if I had known this from the beginning I would have opted to go elsewhere

I was misled on the price of the product until the end and was not stated in prior information. Seems like misrepresentation on your part. The terms indicated a possible payment but nothing could direct me on the cost to make an educated decision. I could have done myself in this format.

More customizable headings would be wonderful. Overall, I love the templates. Although, I also wish those templates had more color options. Like, there was an instance where i loved a template but I could not change the content from gray to black.

Had some issues with double spaces in the text editor, JobHero would show up in the final letter but not be visible in the editor. Could be due to the Grammarly plugin I have installed, but either way there where double spaces that didn't show in the editor.

Jobhero is a great resume builder with their user friendly templates. All you have to do is provide some basic info. About yourself and your job history and JobHero do the rest. I was able to create a stellar looking resume in less than 15 minutes!

I would like to see definitions of strengths and skills to get a better idea of the best choice words. #2 I can't find the area that describes different job responsibilities and descriptions #3 I had trouble making a payment on my debit card with your company. Are you outside of United States?

Amazing feature's but all I wanted was to download my resume to a flash drive. So having to pay money( which I didn't know I would need to pay until I had no other choice) really sours my experience. If I had access to half of the features provided(but enough to still make a full resume) for free I would have given this a full 5star rating

Fantastic! Easy, user-friendly! "George" assisted me so kindly, professionally, and thoroughly today. My confidence has grown so much as I see my qualifications, experience, and skills portrayed in such a beautiful format! I saw it all completed and all I could say was, " Is that me? Wow... I am proud, very proud!"

Resume builder was useful; however I was surprised by the requirement to pay for a subscription when I went to download it. You should indicate this at the beginning, not at the very end. I don't mind paying, I do mind feeling manipulated by your process.

Awesome experience building this resume. I was actually helping out a friend when I saw his resume and I chose this website and it was just so easy. I will do mine as well in the near future. I just hope that canceling will be very easy as it describes or I will retract all of this feedback.

You didn't make it clear in the beginning that I was going to have to pay for your service. Which I found a little shady. Once I found out and could use this for 14 days at 2.95, it was well worth it. I've never completed a resume with such confidence and so quickly.

I was in a hurry to revamp my resume, and I was thrilled to find that I didn't have to spend an extraordinary amount of time or money to get this done! The selection was wonderful and the quality was also. Overall it was a fabulous experience. Thank you

I wish that once I picked a format and then I did not like it - that what I have in that resume could be reproduced in a different template without extra cost. I just did not like the format I chose after seeing the finished product, but could not change the format either - would have had to start all over again.
