Horrible customer service
I registered for an account with LifePoints, and got the email to verify my account. As I click on the link to verify, I am greeted with an Error message and was asked to contact Support. So I do. Now, I clearly have not even used my account but the "Support team" is telling me that information I gave during registration was not approved, and that a violation against the term of agreement has been made, and that my account will stay closed. How is that possible I ask, when I have not even used the account? I have replied back several times, and every time I get an automated message in return that does not even seem to be applicable to my situation. Very disheartening.

Waste of Time
I regularly take part in surveys and there are some great websites which really do give you great compensations. But GlobalTestMarket is just a waste of time.

LifePoints send me tons of invites saying there is a survey matching your profile. Once I am halfway through a boring survey hoping that I just need to answer a few more questions and I will get your points, I get a message that you have been screened out. 90% of the times I am screened out of a survey after having answered most of the questions which feels like a waste of time.

So I decided I will just redeem the points I have and close my account. They do not let you redeem points unless you have 1000 points in your cart even though there are many gift cards which are of much lower value. This is the first survey site where I saw this.

So I contacted the customer care saying I would like to close my account and before closing I would like to redeem the points I have accumulated for a gift card for the same points which is there in the website. I get a reply saying how to close the account nothing regarding the points. I emailed back still no reply.

So guys stay away from this site. Its a waste of time. They will take your details and your time but would in no way compensate you.

It's a rip off!
GlobalTestMarket send me surveys all the time but I was always being screened out before finishing the survey. I sent them an email asking them to explain why LifePoints keep sending me these surveys if I can't finish them, after all it is my time that is being wasted plus costing me for internet usage. I never received a reply but I still received the surveys so one day I decided that I was going to see how many surveys I did before I finished one.
I wrote each survey number down as I started them and kept going until I finally finished my first survey. I was doing surveys for 9 hours and I did 32 of them before I finally got rewarded 25 market points! What a waste of time but a good learning experience. There is no way I could earn enough points for anything worthwhile.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING THE LOOONG SURVEYS ON THIS SITE!
I just did a grocery survey worth 576 points that took me almost 2 hours of work (the time length on their surveys list page said 50min). I TOOK NO BREAKS! I finally finished it successfully, got to the end, and the redirect window popped up with "Session expired." So, of course, there will be no payment for this one! SCAM! This isn't the first time this has happened to me (but it WILL be the last!) nor the first time it's happened to other members. To be fair, I've earned a decent amount of petty cash from them, and always got paid eventually. I may try to stay with them a little longer but will only do shorter surveys for smaller point values. The major ripoff risk otherwise is just not worth it. PS - Customer service won't help in these cases, just offer their condolences for your bad experience, if LifePoints even get back to you at all.

Company is a Scam!
This company is a scam. I did a survey where LifePoints asked me permission to have access to my computer webcam and audio. If I agreed I would be awarded 3000 extra points. I NEVER received the 3000 points - only 100 for doing the survey. I contacted customer service and they will not help me without a survey #. How can I give them a survey#? You sit there for hours getting screened out of one survey after another. When you are finally accepted to do a survey - am I really going to write down a survey #? If they were a legitimate company, they would be able to research this without a survey # and award me my earned points. It's just an excuse to cheat me out of the money I legitimately earned doing their survey. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS! BEWARE!

The Worst Ever
The current LifePoints used to be GlobalMarketTest surveys. It was not perfect but I was a member sin ce 2015 and I only had minor issues until the end on last year, right before LifePoints took over. After this, it has been terrible. No points awarded for finished surveys, getting less points that advertised, etc. Because there's no record on anything, you can't prove that LifePoints misled you or messed up. Even the primitive GlobalMarketTest platform had better survey history record, so at least you could have some sort of proof. Anyhow, I got tired of the crap and cancel my account with them. I may give them a chance at some point in the future, but for now I'll stay the hell away from them scammers.

How much lager have you consumed whilst trying to complete our rubbish survey?
This site is an absolute waste of time! You are invited to participate in surveys to earn cash through a points system, easy enough I hear you cry, lets do it! The flaw in this system is that you never get to complete a survey, it goes something like this- you waste 5 mins of your time answering questions, then you won't qualify, or the survey is full, or you don't have Adobe( LifePoints are aware your using a tablet) or the survey is now closed. I made ten unsuccessful attempts to complete a survey. Don't really know why I was doing in the first place to be honest, It confirmed my thoughts dull, boring utter waste of time. Spend your time and the little money you do have on something far more constructive!

Frustrating
I had been a member of this group since 2006. I had a few problems along the way, but mostly LifePoints would give me credit for surveys and allow me to redeem my points for rewards. Recently, they put my account into an "inactive" status for no reason that I can figure. I lost over 5500 reward points. They have not responded to my emails. Over the last decade, I tried dozens of survey sites and this was one of the few that I tried to stick with. I am very disappointed with this site after all this time. Become a member at your own risk and don't forget that the hours and hours you might spend filling out surveys, might not get you many rewards.

100% Scam
100% a SCAM
Iv earned up to £30 cash, iv split this up in, £10 paypall £10 google voucher and £5 starbucks voucher
Iv waited over the 10 business working days and still zip, i have contacted there CC by the chat box and LifePoints just say they forwarded it to some department

So to summarise

NO PAY OUT
DATA BREACH
AND THEY OPEN DOCUMENTS WITH IN YOUR PC and EXTRACT SENSITIVE INFORMATION WITH OUT PERMISSION!

See pic for statement of lifepoint and my paypall weirs there been no incoming cash

MySurvey, which is owned by the consumer research company,...
MySurvey, which is owned by the consumer research company, Taylor Nelson Sofres, pays users to participate in consumer research surveys conducted by various participating companies. There is also a referral system that allows users to earn when LifePoints recruit new users to the site.

MySurvey.com actually pays in points, which can then be traded for cash, with one thousand points equaling ten dollars. Ten dollars is the minimum cash out amount.

Referring new users wins a user one hundred and fifty points ($1.50) for each person who qualifies and actively takes surveys.

The reviews for MySurvey mainly consist of users complaining that the payout per completed survey has dropped drastically from seventy five points ($0.75) to just ten to thirty points ($0.10 to $0.30), regardless that some of their surveys can last up to forty five minutes. This certainly places MySurvey in the slave-labor category.

Give me back GlobalTestMarket :(( (
I was a member of Globaltestmarket, still got points left when Lifepoints took over, and until then I cannot log in to my own account. Every time I try to log in, I always get "Your email or password was entered incorrectly. Please try again or contact us" pop-up message. I tried to reset my password many times but got no reset email at all. I sent tickets and got template replies that didn't solve anything, I bet LifePoints didn't even read any of my tickets. Yet they still send me survey invitations everyday. How annoying is that! Getting tired of this, If the problem still persist, gonna delete my account by the end of this month :((

Join another site
I finally found out why I am not receiving surveys from this site, LifePoints claim I (or someone else) is trying to sign in from another country! OK, I can believe that, it has happened to me with another survey site. Must be a problem with my ISP who sometimes shows up as being in the Cocos Islands for some reason, instead of Sydney. At least the other survey site notifies me of the problem, this site just de-activated my account, no notification, nothing. Now they have re-activated my account the the 2nd survey I did was for about 15 minutes and 100 points, but as soon as the survey was finished I was informed that my session had timed out. No points.
Must cancel this site and stop wasting my time.

Don't Use My Survey!
I wish I'd read more reviews before signing up to My Survey. Seems I'm not the only one where LifePoints suddenly deactivate your account and refuse to give a reason why, nor reply to emails. Fortunately, when they decided to deactivate my account without reason, I had recently cashed in and had a very low point balance, but I see there are others who were deactivated and can't get their money.

UPDATE!

Two months after initially contacting the elusive Emma, I now have a reply which states that they deactivated my account because it was accessed from another country. They also advise I do not use my account at an internet cafe. Well, it gave me a laugh and I deactivated the newly reactivated account. I wonder how many of these generic emails have been sent to others that have complained on this site? Just do yourselves a favour and don't sign up in the first place.

This is a scam site now, the most horrible survey site
Mysurvey has turned into a scam site! You will complete a week long survey with various profile surveys and after you finally submit it will go to error. Then you will spend even more time messaging costumer service and LifePoints will copy paste messages and mark it as solved even though Its not! Do not waste your time with this site because I have worked for them for free plenty of times because this has happened before with the week diaries and surveys. They write you off saying it will take 6 weeks to look into it and if you don't get credit we will not have an explanation wtf?! SCAM. MEANWHILE other sites would literally just give you the daMN 400 pts so you could finally cash out for a dare I say it actual reward! Do not sign up for this ratchet scam site or do so if you want to waste time with supposed costumer service and work for free. It's a shame because it used to be a stand up company until it changed owner. I more then second everyone that's shared my exact experience it's not just my situation it's how it is for everyone here it goes to error after you submit to avoid getting any credit that you completed and worked for. Disgusted with this site!

I joined this site back in spring time of 2011
I joined this site back in spring time of 2011. I was only 17 at the time so amount of surveys I could do were limited, now 18 I was finally able to build up enough points to redeem for cash.

I really enjoy this survey website upon all others I've tried. There's no gimmicks, its actually FREE. LifePoints don't share their information to other companies or try to get you to sign up for those free low monthly payment subscriptions for some bull crap.

They send you an email every time there is a survey available too you (so you don't have to sit there and log in everyday just to find out you have no surveys). Now the points given may take awhile to build up to be able to redeem but that's how you can tell survey websites are legit. Unlike panda research that may give you some large amounts you must pay to be able to get money back... which in most scenarios people don't want to have to pay when they are trying to earn extra cash in their pocket.

The site is easy and simple to navigate some surveys can get repetitive but as far as keeping it simple and understanding I would really recommend this site. Love it!

Very clever scam
Joined Life points and spent time with initial survey. Then heard nothing for several days. Didn't expect this to be some great money-maker. Went back to check and received this bogus message after providing them very thorough survey answers. "The information provided during the registration process did not pass some security checks we perform against 3rd party data.

We appreciate your interest to become a member, but unfortunately we cannot accept the registration at this time." A complete waste of time AND a release of my data without any compensation. What a great way to sell customer data to survey-hungry companies without costing Life points a dime. Definitely Not Recommended. Also shame on all these review sites that give it good ratings. LifePoints have failed to protect consumers.

Complete and utter waste of your time
Most of the surveys are obvious fishing expeditions to find peole with money or young kids. I even had a "survey" ask about phone numbers for "classification purposes." Yes, folks, I fell for it, and that very same day I got a solicitor's phone call. After I gave this person a large piece of my mind I contacted the website; got 4 canned responses, and I shard that piece of my mind with them. LifePoints finally responded in what I would feel would be a manner of someone who actually read the complaint. They don't "pay" anything, just offer you points that you can trade in for gift cards, mostly. That's if you even get to finish the surveys; a large number of them get you "points" for their quarterly "sweepstakes" drawings, which is, in fact, nothing at all. It's a waste of time if you expect anything in return.

Life points sucks
I have not been doing this survey site for very long. Well i found out this company is all fine when you 1st sign up with life points and cash out for 5 dollar gift then when you wanna cash out for a gift card again LifePoints let you what gets $#*!ed up about this company is when you start wanting to build up your points to really cash put for a big gift card then they take away your surveys so you cant earn no points no more this is how they treat their customers bull$#*! also iam a disabled american and this company does this $#*! i told them i even contacted them about the surveys they gave me the run around $#*! they just took them away cause they did not want me to get my points way up there my advise do not get on this site to do surveys they will $#*! you out of doing surveys then you gotta $#*! at them about getting your gift card that you earned

Not Perfect But Much Better Than Before
Once you learn the flow of the new Dashboard, it works better than before, and other survey panel websites. The switch over to the new website was problematic, but generally works very well now, and the problems that do occur aren't necessarily with their website, but with the interface, handshaking, between their website and the website conducting the survey. Yes, it is frustrating to complete survey's, especially long ones, and not receive any points, or very few, but once again the problem may be with the website conducting the surveys. Some survey companies collect a lot of information before LifePoints reject you, and the problem lies with them, rather than Lifepoints. They asked for feedback on their new website today (8/8/19) and hopefully they will be able to make further improvements in their website. (I have written code and designed websites in the past, but have no affiliation with this website or business, other than earning points from taking their surveys, the same as any other customer.)

Unacceptable - 90 minute survey takes 720 minutes
I was offered a 90 minute survey for 1500 Lifepoints (worth less than 15 GBP). After 255 minutes... yes... 4 hours 15 mins (a bit different from the 90 minutes LifePoints stated it would take to complete) I needed a rest, logged off to discover that I was only 38% through the survey. Using those times it would take 720 minutes to complete the '90 minute survey' All customer service say is that it depends on previous answers, some people may take 5 questions to complete whilst others take 20'. In that case it would be more honest to say "this survey will take between 90 and 720 minutes" Sadly I can't recommend this survey company at all.

15+ YEAR USER OF MYSURVEY.COM
I am vacillating on this. I have been a member for 15+ years. During my early years I only did a couple of surveys because I was working and the last thing I wanted to do was go from computer at work to computer at home. I am now retired for 5 years and have more time to take surveys. The surveys are interesting and fun. Some surveys concerning your health are too intrusive and I do not answer them. What I have noticed is that there are more errors on their part. Examples are "there is a survey waiting for you" then you click on the survey and it is "under construction". Then why even say there is a survey waiting? Another example is when you complete a survey you get an error message. Very frustrating. I read some of the reviews and noticed that I am not the only one who has had this problem. Other issues are the "mini polls" that will ask a question and you have 5 answers to chose from but 3 of the answers are blank or on the opposite end of the spectrum, you have the answers but the question is blank. Their IT people need to be replaced. And here is another issue: I am answering a survey and in the middle of the survey I get a remark that states "it seems you have already taken this survey". What!? And then the kicker is, the survey is then placed in your "surveys to be completed" category. And you can't complete it. I do not have any problems with receiving the prizes (check, gift cards, etc.) so that is why I will still stay with Mysurvey.com. But it is frustrating and will be a turnoff if you just joined and are encountering these issues. I truly truly truly hope LifePoints get their act together. Maybe hire some 5 year olds who know IT issues.

One of the best survey sites
I have been earning rewards without any problems with LifePoints since the change from Global Test Market and My Survey, both of which were professional and reliable sites. Some of the surveys are obviously not suitable and I get screened out but anyone that has been doing this kind of income generated pastime for any amount of time will understand that certain companies need input from different individuals and it happens. Payments have always been easy to claim and I have never had any problem. I am a member of several different survey sites and find LifePoints to be one of the most reliable and easy ones to use.

LifePoints--the Worst Survey Companh on the Internet
LifePoints is probably one of the worst survey companies to work for on the internet. I use several. I have NEVER received my earned gift cards without having to write nasty, very pointed, and direct comments on their website. LifePoints say they will send them within 5-7 days. Sometimes it is weeks and as much as two month while I wait patiently. However, when I challenge their honesty, integrity and tell them they are using "terrorist" tactics, they finally respond. I don't know if they are in the US or overseas, but that should not make a difference. I am elderly and disabled and I count on earning gift cards to supplement my meager disability income.

IF you want to have to fight for what you have earned and wait forever to receive your earnings, use LifePoints surveys. IF you want honesty and good service, check other survey companies. This one seems "satanically inspired."

Improving
This is a neutral review. Old site was better. Lifepoints still needs improvements. LifePoints are not a scam site but they need a better support team to really investigate issues before sending replies as they are jibberish and at times do not even apply to your issue, and each email from support has a different answer, They have bugs still in the program that need ironing out. And if a ticket is submitted, with screenshots showing everything you need to make sure surveyor is paid, you need to act on it, I keep a GOOD RECORD and screenshot my surveys from start to finish as everyone should do. There are alot of sites in the market and if Lifepoints wants to continue to be successfull, they need to start making things right for the past and the present.

BE WARNED!
This company is not honest. I have been doing MS surveys for a few years and couldn't work out why the "suitability" test questions began appearing several months ago NOT at the start of a survey, but in the middle or even right at the END of the survey, as has yesterday again just occurred! Then a screen appears advising 'you've done this survey before' (which isn't true) or "you're not suitable to do the survey"! Being placed in the middle or at the end of course means the company gets your answers and data, and doesn't have to pay you for your precious time in doing the surveys! It gets ripped away before you can complete it. This is NOT what was promised me when I signed up with MS. I signed up to honestly answer PAID surveys - not have them ripped off before I could complete them! When I complained I was told I 'hadn't finished the survey' and that's why I "couldn't" be paid!" I've never struck this dishonesty with ANY other survey company. Don't waste your time - My Survey are CHEATERS. P.S. After many months since writing this review and reading other posters' comments about all the data being collected but MS then shutting them out, I'm starting to wonder if this even may be a front for ID theft!

I keep going in circles when trying to deal with this company -- with no resolution!
For several years I took surveys on MySurvey.com with out any problems, and earned some nice rewards. Then it became LifePoints. I was told that I could use the same ID used for MySurvey. After trying to log in without success, I was told that my account had been CLOSED. After months of back-and-forth emails, I was finally told to join again. When I tried to join I was told that I couldn't join since my email address was already registered... even though my account was supposedly closed! So I got screwed out of the points I had earned. After reading some of these reviews, It appears that I'm not the only one shafted.

Account suddenly inactivated Jan 2016
Looks like I am in good company. I have been doing surveys for this outfit since before LifePoints were online. Back then you responded by snailmail. When, a few days ago, I responded to the usual email survey invite and my account was suddenly inactive, they did email back but it was not helpful. So I kept emailing them, several times and got the reply that a case was started in their new help center and a link to their new help center (which I cannot access because my account is inactivated). The reply also said that soon nobody will be able to get help by emailing them because they are making it so you have to go to the help center to complain! So if your account is inactivated they won't even have to hear from you. I had read in a review somewhere online that these guys were the #1 rated survey site on the internet. And they were good and quick payers, for me, until now. But in my book they are crap. Don't sign up.

Update: After about 2 weeks of silence in which I assumed they were done wth me, I received an email to the effect that my account had been fixed but if I tried to access it before 3 days elapsed it would deactivate again. I waited the 3 days and my account now works again. They are again sending survey invitations and I am taking surveys and receiving credit for them.

SCAMMED
I've been completing surveys for DAYS and LifePoints are only recording some of them and then not giving me points for the vast majority of them. They OWE ME 400 points or more for surveys that I successfully completed. Also instead of giving me points this was ANOTHER issue not involving the missing 400 points. Instead of giving me points like it says that it WILL DO, they give me sweeps instead! If I wanted sweeps I would complete those surveys instead! They claim that you earn "points" but they either don't give you them at all, or they convert them to sweeps when they say they are points! ZERO dollars made

No Customer service support!
I've been a member of MySurvey for a number of years and have found the frequency of survey invites and ones I qualify for are adequate. And I've never had an issue with not getting my points after I've successfully completed a survey. I've been burned enough times during surveys though that I write down the survey number before starting in case I get "technical issues" right at the end of the survey when LifePoints start asking about you the demographic questions. Usually I just email customer service and the points get put in my account. My one big issue is always having to log in and take surveys at a desktop -- I've tried a few times with my iPad and my account gets deactivated. Usually it's not a problem to have it reactivated, but this time it's been about a month and I've emailed customer service 3-4 times and gotten no replies, nor has my account been reactivated. Definitely not a good business practice!
