I took my brother, Ben Brown, to O'Reilly Auto Parts at 4350, Stockton Drive in North Little Rock to pick up parts from the warehouse that he had purchased from another store earlier in the day. He went into the busy store in front of the warehouse and waited in line with his receipt. When it was his turn, O'Reilly Auto Parts looked at his receipt and told
Him he could go to the back of the warehouse to pick up his part. On his way, he was confronted by an employee who claimed to have in hand a counterfeit hundred dollar bill that Ben supposedly just purchased parts with. The counterfeiter was long gone before they figured out that the bill was counterfeit so they pointed the finger at Ben. When the lady who waited on the counterfeiter rushed to alert management, Ben was still in line waiting to be served. She never waited on him and he never handed anyone in the store anything but a receipt. The police swarmed in and handcuffed Ben and put him in the police car. The police tried to investigate but the O'Reilly Auto Parts Counter is the only place on the planet with no video surveillance. They released him but took his receipt for evidence and said he could not get his part because he is no longer allowed on O'Reilly property and the case is still pending.
I was able to get a refund for the part from the original store where Ben made his purchase. I am copying this review to every site I can find. If anyone has legal knowledge pertaining this case and others like it, please share it with me. Thank you.
Well my husband has an account with them, and called a little bit ago, and asked about a part, and availability. Store didn't have it, but could order it. My husband asked for the cut off time to get one coming. (My husband had to ask the customer if the price was okay for her).
Corbin first response was" oh so you're calling around to get other prices". My husband explained the situation, which he shouldn't had to. And at the end of the phone call Corbin did not say thank you for calling O'Reilly's. Very disappointed
Again this month I tried replacing a computer and I bought years ago with a life time warranty. Again O'Reilly Auto Parts wouldn't honor it. Told me they would give me a refund. This same computer only comes with a one year warranty as of today.
Anyhow, the manager or somebody at the one in Clinton, Arkansas accused me of having replaced this computer 5 or 6 times which was a lie and they knew at the time accusing me of it. Back in February 2020 I tried replacing the computer because of the check engine wouldn't go out and without codes.
Tried replacing it and the new computer made my Jeep run real bad so I took it back before leaving the parking lot. Now this month (August 2020) it broke down and had CarQuest work on it and they tell me it's the computer so I had them get a replacement from O'Reilly. IT WAS THE SAME BROKE COMPUTER THAT DIDN'T WORK back in February, same one. Once you plug one of these computer up to a car it stores the VIN number and has to be reprogrammed. Long story short they wouldn't honor my life time warranty. I had to buy a new one from CarQuest.

Springfield Missouri
Called 1st & she said O'Reilly Auto Parts had the part. After driving 2 miles to get there no part & no apology but instead went back & got the supervisor to speak with me. Just a whole lot of disrespect. Should have known not to go there when I asked for their location & was told on East Sunshine Street. When I said there are two location on east Sunshine I got the aditude in the voice. When I got there I waited to speak with to someone I could hear the two gals behind the counter complaining about people coming in this close to closing. I should have walked out than because it just went down hill from there. I will never go into an O'Reillys store ever again. Here in Springfield Missouri you expect more because this is where O'Reillys corporate office is located. There are way to many other parts stores here that have appreciation for customers & not to big to not care.
