-I ordered the part on line it said it wouldn't be delivered till May 12, but I decided I could go with out the car till then
-I didn't get the part on the 12th on the 13th I tried to trace the part but no update had been made since the 11th with Purolator some thing about delivery disruption. I phoned the local Purolator office and Parts Avatar said The delay was because it was oversize and then a Covid outbreak, and it was stuck in Quebec for maybe 4 to 12 business days. I tried to phone Parts Avatar but no success, finally I tried the little chat thing and asked for a number to Phone. They said due to Covid they weren't using phones, and the chat was the only way to communicate, I hated the chat thing. Because of the lag and the cryptic answers. Kept having to ask what the answers meant. Was told they were looking into it
-Then I went out and bought the part locally and installed it on the 14th just after that the doorbell rang and the part from Parts Avatar was on the doorstep and the Purolator truck was pulling away, checked out the part and found it to be badly damaged and not usable, looked like it had been caught in the mast of a forklift.
- had to go on the chat thing again they wanted pictures, Got Niece with magic phone to take pictures and sent them, and received a return ticket number. Took to Parts Avatar Depot in Edmonton and dropped off.
-Master card credited within the week. This was the one thing that didn't cause a problem.
-I would not have bought the part if I had known it was coming out of Quebec and not being able to talk on the phone was very time consuming I will probably buy locally from now on.
Once an order is placed you cannot cancel it. I cancelled it by email in less than 24 hours from placing the order.
They could not or would not confirm the items were in stock. They could not give me a day they would ship and blamed COVID for everything. Very sad to see this type of poor customer service. Vulture bottom feeder mentality group.
The price of shipping is getting really bad from the other vendor! While not totally their fault, its getting to the point its not worth ordering.
While reading about Parts Avatar, I did read what Parts Avatar said about purchasing local, and I wanted to support that. I decided to give it a try, but my first order was a bit bulky. I never expected much but Parts Avatar came through just fine.
I have now a couple of orders and NO issues at all. I think I have found my go-to supplier for automotive parts! Give Parts Avatar a try, they are very competitive, and fast for delivery.

I had no use for the late and miss sold parts so had to pay $117 to return them. What a waste of time, money and effort. Agents are all scripted there is no phone number to call. I asked for compensation for shipping but all they offered was 10% off next order that's their "policy".
They will all promise you something but actually they dont do anything.
After 24 hours of ordering a small wiper they told me to wait for 3 more hours
Finally when I told them to cancel the order the guy told me that I cannot cancel the order because its been processed.
I finally threatened them to talk to the Manager & put a complaint against their company & my order was processed in 10 mins.
I would never suggest anyone to order anything from this company.
I have saved all chats by email.

Also this company said the description pictures of they're parts is ''FOR REFERENCE ONLY'' which means Partsavatar uses a general picture of a popular part for a certain car system like the exhaust and uses the same picture for all the exhaust gasket and pipes, hoses, covers and other parts so when I received my part it was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WAS IN THE PICTURE AND DESCRIPTION. So Parts Avatar refused to give me a full refund and made me pay for shipping again and reship it back to this useless warehouse. Unbelievable, Should've went to Rockauto parts as usual- lesson learned
I should have done proper research before giving them my money. If you read this review, please avoid this shop like the plague. You'll be waiting for ages if something happens, customer service is impolite and absolutely useless.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS SITE. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS THE CUSTOMER AT ALL. THEY DO NOT CARE EVEN WHEN THEY ARE IN THE WRONG.
READ THE REVIEWS HERE. I'M NOT THE ONLY CUSTOMER WHO FOUND THE SAME ISSUES WITH THE SITE AND SERVICE. COMPLETE JUNK!

The rest of my order arrived with no issues and earlier than expected.
I ordered over $800 worth of parts, and I had one missing part (brake pad cables) worth around $10. I contacted them 7-8 times by email, 5-6 times on live chat, and 2-3 by telephone trying to resolve, but Parts Avatar just advised it had been passed to their "High Priority Team" and I should wait for a response.
Despite chasing weekly, wait is all I could do. After ONE MONTH (!) I finally got a reply saying they are unable to assist (with a $10 missing part on a $800 order!) at all, and because the 30 days return window had now closed I could not return the one item that had a part missing ($25 part from an $800 order)...
I advised that the only reason the returns window had closed as I had been waiting for them to reply for over a month, despite chasing them weekly. They just advised they could not help.
I had placed three orders with them over the past year totalling around $1,300. And they would not replace a missing part (their fault, not mine!) worth $10?
So, like mant other people leaving their reviews here, Parts Avatar have lost another customer. I'd likely spend at least $1,000 a year on parts, and they've lost me for the sake of saving themselves $10. I just don't understand their logic.
And seeing the reviews here, it seems I'm not alone.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! There are far superior suppliers out there who might actually value you as a customer. Use any other company, even if it's a touch more expensive - it'll be worth it!
Sent a part back as it was not compatible with my window regulator motor, (but should have been) 15 days after they received it still not refund. (I tracked with Canada Post which I had to pay for.
Mailed on May 8 It arrived on May 19 at their return center, it's now June 4 no refund yet)
DO NOT ORDER FROM PARTSAVATAR, the customer service is appalling.
