This past Sunday I noticed $750 loss in my account. I saw a reverse split had occurred but that only accounted for $50, not $750. I screenshot the loss and submitted an email to Robinhood to investigate this matter and to send me any proof showing where the loss occurred. I was unable to find the loss among my stocks. Monday I received an email back only speaking to the reverse splits on my account the past year and Robinhood ignored my request about the $750. I resent an email again asking about the $750 loss only to hear back the same type of email response about the reverse splits. I finally emailed back and said I would be contacting my lawyer if they could not provide me with documentation showing where the loss occurred. They emailed me an excel document that can be easily tampered with and it was not on the date of the loss. Robinhood is purposely avoiding the issue and avoiding showing me the proof of where the $750 loss occurred which makes me believe they in fact stole my money and are hoping I either wouldnt notice the loss or id just accept their response. This is unacceptable behavior especially during these economic times to be stealing from their clients. I have reached out to an attorney to now handle this situation and once my funds are settled I will be closing my account with Robinhood. It is in my opinion that they have stolen my money and I am not the first or last person to have this happen. They cater to new investors who do not really know the stock business well and we are easy marks for things like this. Its disgusting behavior and I am hoping my attorney finds proof of misconduct and shuts them down.

This ppl are not honest, here is how i catch them i execute deal on 0.25 and i got email that i exacute the deal on 0.25, but on my app its showing i exacute 0.2488, so on my 11667 shares Robinhood short me 14$, so there nothing FREE, WATCH OUT YOUR ACCOUNT, I can bet everybody got short just nobody pay attention! SO ROBINHOOD IS NOT FREE AND NOTHING IS FREE IN THIS COUNTRY, EVEN WHEN YOU GO ON GAS STATION TO PUMP YOU R TIRES WITH AIR IT WILL COST YOU 0.50 CENT, SO EVEN AIR IS NOT FREE!

My experience with Robinhood today was the worst business experience I have ever had. I wanted to sell a call and Robinhood had put a setting on my account so I couldnt sell consequently I lost over $140. Panicking I tried to contact Robinhood with no response for almist an hpur with was ny email, Robinhood have no phone number you can use. Basically they just said there was no problem on their end after I emailed them about 20 times! They do NOT have their customers best interest as a priority at all and I would suggest using another trading platform, any other trading platform if you wish to protect your investments.

RH let's you start investing and trading easily. No waiting days for funds Robinhood have instant deposit that's let's you start trading same day. Just verify your account to add funds and you are good to go. This GME crap yesterday was started with a private company's security breach and that group on reddit started all of that craziness with insider information. So stop blaming RH when Webull, Etrade, and Schwab did the same thing because of the SEC statement saying there was inside market manipulation. Ignorance of the law is NO excuse!

Because of several outages with Robinhood app/ webapp, I have lost close to $3000 dollars. One example, on Monday March 9th stocks dropped sharply. I had preexisting orders to buy some options on Sunday evening. I tried cancelling them on Sunday night and on Monday morning before the market opened and because of robinhood outage I wasn't able to. The trade executed and the options worth $1000 were purchased for $2500. I had to sell them for a loss. I am super frustrated and have reached to robinhood multiple times but zero response. I will be looking for a lawyer to address this. Obviously, I pulled out all my money from Robinhood.

Every business success is their customer service management. Robinhood have none. They have no one to talk to, nowhere to escalate an issue to. They restricted my account because the bank said payment was reverse. Okay, I told them charge your fees let's move on. But they've insisted on wasting my time for several weeks. Asking for a bank statement that was not yet available. Once I finally submitted all the documents they required. They still came up with some bad faith customer service. I really see them losing half of their customers because of reps like" Alan ". I am fuming but they have the monopole of free platforms. They do not perform an analysis of the people complaint. Randomly signs you out of your account, then your Touch ID and manual entry of login doesn't work. Try to get a password reset link? Good luck. Wont happen. Customer service line has no options, just says to go online and says goodbye. After you file a claim on their site, it's just long auto-messages with a lot of words, but no actual help after days of waiting for response. Playing tag for days, weeks, etc. Same with *******@askrobinhood Twitter account. It cancels your orders, or let's them pend until Robinhood just disappear. ALSO completely removed access to stocks that are growing right now. Took away our ability to buy and is only allowing us to sell the stock we have. Whoever is running this belongs in prison. Costing people tons of money. I've heard these complaints from so many people and experienced them myself.

The worst platform and company I have ever seen with this important thing which is investing and money Robinhood should at least have a customer service phone number to call but this robinhood never even answer your email or message, and you can't get a prove quicker they saying your application take up to 5 days to be approved now it's 6 days and no answer, also they want you to transfer funds through access your online banking from their platform? What a joke!
Stay a way there are tons of platforms for investment all over.

Dont use their app. By doing so you are risking every penny of what you put in their app. I lost my entire lives savings and Robinhood did nothing, and forced me to email them over 50 times to hear back from them. The only way to contact them in case of emergency is through freaking emails. And their customer support is not only the worst of all other brokerages. But i kid you not, its the worst of any company i have ever seen ever period. I lost over 6 thousand dollars. Sent over 50 emails freaking out. I didnt hear back from them for over TWO WEEKS. I WAS IN THE DARK WAITING TO HEAR ABOUT MY ENTIRE LIVES SAVINGS FOR TWO WEEKS. And the email that they finally responded to me with. Was the tipping point. Not only did they not help me, they didnt even care. And then they didnt even tell me what happened. It's unacceptable that a company this rich could be allowed to operate. Its completely fraudulent. Dont risk it for the pretty design, use a real broker. A real company. Robinhood should be completely shut down.

I've been trading with this app for 2 months now. I finally figured it out and what I was doing and made some money last wee now everything on the app is working and it still won't let me trade. I've lost over a hundred dollars in stock that I can't trade and that doesn't count for the money I could have made in other stocks. I'm going to transfer my money and stocks to etrade if the app will ever let me. You also shouldn't trust a company like this after all the trouble I've had know one has got back with me and on top of that Robinhood don't even have a working number for customer care only a recording referring you back to their website. DON'T USE THIS APP. HO TO ETRADE.

He has done nothing but lie to me. Go back on his employees word. At this point I have been trying to remove my funds for over a week now and Robinhood will not allow me too. They have been holding $1500 of mine hostage during a national shutdown for over a week. My wife and I both lost our jobs do to the shut downs and I thought well ok I'll just sell my stocks to hold us over till we can find work. Well at this point our power will be getting shut tomorrow because of there lies, we haven't been able to go grocery shopping. All they keep doing is switching me around, living to me and refusing and or keep extending the time for me to be able to put my funds back into my account. I have spent all week emailing back and forth from the time they open till the time they close and there story just keeps changing. I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere!

Robinhood used to send me an email to unlock account. Suddenly they say, SMS only. I don't know which phone number they have - I can't access it. Trying to work with customer support. Unhelpful, constantly sending the same canned message, always new names, no phone number, no interest to resolve this. I took most of my money a few weeks ago, therefore I wait for them to do this. Otherwise I would become very very upset. I never trusted them with a large amount, and I was right. I use schwab and vanguard and fidelity for larger accounts. Vanguard is so-so, but Fidelity was really helpful,

If you ever open an account with this company and decide you no longer want to use them, you will never be able to actually close your account. Robinhood will only deactivate an account just by restricting it from trading but will never actually close it. Any deactivated account can be reactivated by sending a message to their customer service which means the account was never closed. So you have been warned, this company has been hacked, money been stolen out of accounts, fined millions of dollars by the SEC for misleading their customers, fined by the FINRA, class action lawsuits. Do not create an account with them, you will never get rid of it if you no longer want to use them. Almost every broker offers free trading now. If you value security, keep your money and run far away from this company. If you want to invest, open an account with a reputable company.

Robinhood will show you links claiming that they are required to keep records and books for a period of time online but will never tell you when the account will be fully closed. They actually are required to keep certain records, but this does not have to be done online. This has nothing to do with actually closing an account. Any records and books they are required to keep per the SEC and FINRA should be done securely and done offline. Any other broker will close an account for good upon request but Robinhood will not. Do not ever open an account with this company, you have been warned.

Robinhood was stealing unauthorized money from out of my account, I caught on and i sent emails about this. Robinhood took even more money from out of my account and restricted my account so that I could not withdraw the rest of my money. They said they were looking in to it I had to remove all of my funds to another account. I really would like to give them a 0 and they are called robinhood for a reason if you have money in your account watch very closely these people are good thief's

I agree that the app is very user friendly at first. Robinhood place ridiculous holds on money transferred in and out of your account. I had money that I deposited into my Robinhood that was withdrawn from my bank account for almost a week yet still wasn't available to be utilized for trading. On the other hand, I sold stock 16 days ago and the money still isn't available in my account. Now why would they want to take peoples money and keep it in their account as long as possible, hmmmm... However, if you have any sort of issues like this there is zero customer service whatsoever. I sent numerous emails and have received no response. There is no customer service number on the app. If you google to get a customer service number, you will eventually find one. The only problem is that when you call it is just a message directing you to send an email. This app is an absolute scam!

Robin Hood, a startup backed by Google Ventures allows you to trade stocks for free from an app on your phone. Robinhood promise to keep trading free and only sell margin trading, developer API access and fees from stock exchanges. Who knows if Robin Hood will stick to its word about keeping stock trading free, and who knows if it's a good things if investors trade more often because of low fees, but in the meantime, enjoy the free trades!

My stocks worth 14000$ were sold and the money was moved to some revolut account in 10 mins. I tried to call the robinhood customer care within the 10 mins of the transaction happened. But it doesn't work. We only need to sent email. I have sent tens of emails to cancel the transaction, as it was in the pending state. I got an email that we are looking into the issue but Robinhood didn't cancel the transaction. Now the transaction is completed am my money is gone. No reply yet from customer care. Don't know how to proceed with the complaint or take legal action. Kindly suggest.

For weeks now my account states that I have purchase restrictions, i. E. I can't make any purchases but I have no clue as to why. I'm a beginner investor and I don't even have much invested. I have not been involved in any pattern trading or anything else. I have just purchased individual stocks and one ETF. I receive the same boiler plate email response asking me if I still need assistance with my ticket. Every single time I email back stating once again that my case has never been addressed. It's like being in a black hole. I will need to close my account and go to another platform. I cannot build anything with Robinhood. How it has been weeks and still no help from customer service is completely beyond me. Don't bother with Robinhood!

Heard great things about Robinhood and decided to give it a try. I didn't jump in, just threw some change in to test the system. Was doing well and decided to transfer $100 in from my bank. Still did well. Decided to transfer $125 in. My bank smelled fraud and reversed my transfer. I owed no debt on the account, I did not take the advance funds while waiting for my bank transfer. Robinhood stated I owe them and eventually forced me to sell all my shares to settle with them. I sold all my shares because Robinhood froze all my activities until I did. My account holds a credit of $200 but they won't give it to me. They emailed me and said I have to sign a statement saying everything was my fault and the bank reversal came from me. Why would I reverse funds if I'm making money? Why would I even sign a statement like that? Robinhood cut off all communication with me and I log in every day just to see MY MONEY sitting there dormant. I'm going to let it sit there as evidence for the next lawsuit. Apparently Robinhood has been sued multiple times and I will be part of the next one. DON'T USE ROBINHOOD!

I referred so many people to Robinhood. Free stocks. Why not. When I had an issue with three referrals, Robinhood refused to help me and gave me excuse after excuse as to why the referrals didn't qualify even though they were completely valid. After they weren't any help, I told them in email I would not use my account any longer, and they didn't care. That was over a year ago. A few days ago I got an email to fund my account and receive a free stock. I had to verify my bank account first so I waited for the manual deposits to come in, entered the correct info on their site, and it failed 5 times before it completely just erased the bank account from the banking section. The promo ends today so I won't be getting this free stock and had to jump through hoops to not even get a few dollars. Avoid this company at all costs.
