Excellent customer service!
EXCELLENT customer service. SelectBlinds' website is easy to navigate and filter choices are thorough - but even after you order... their Customer Service is PHENOMENAL! I called their customer # for various issues (all due to our error) and SelectBlinds were outstanding! Various calls gave me different reps. All were professional, empathetic, and helpful. I am beyond impressed with the shopping experience AND the customer experience. More companies should look to Selectblinds.com for example. (Come on UX/UI from big tech!)

Easy to understand measuring instructions...
Easy to understand measuring instructions... video is very helpful. Appreciate the variety of options. Was easy to determine the best type of shade for our needs. Promotion helped me choose your service vs a competitor. Appreciated it was auto applied and I didn't have to remember/enter a code... though I was prepared to if it was necessary. Such an easy, customer focused experience. Returning customer and I have been pleased each time!.

Create and account at checkout is confusing
Create and account at checkout is confusing. Also the checkout process is unclear as to what to do and when. I chose Paypal at the top, then couldn't find any way to create an account even tho site said "see below". I did somehow create an account but it was after I'd OK'd pmt with paypal. You need to be more explicit with checkout and account creation process

Very satisfied with the website's general ease
Very satisfied with the website's general ease. However, I clicked on a category for top-down-bottom-up blinds (from your article about their benefits), then clicked on a variety of Roman Shades from the options provided (Classic). Only at the last minute did I realize what I had chosen wasn't actually top down-bottom up. Obviously, that option shouldn't have been available in that specific section. Would have been a nightmare of a mistake!

I love select blinds
I love select blinds. Easy ordering, SelectBlinds make re-ordering easy, great prices plus no hassle warranty, they stand behind all products. Great selection too. Fast turn-around time so I don't have to wait forever to get my order. Only complaint is sometimes they seem to be out of the samples I need to see, wish they'd keep those in stock. I'm alwats in a hurry :) Still love this site!

My husband and I really enjoyed how easy this site...
My husband and I really enjoyed how easy this site was to maneuver. We were able to build an entire cart for each color preference and save each cart for later, once we decided which one we liked the most. No other site allows you to save an entire cart, in order to reference back later. Also, it was convenient to be able to label which blind goes where to ensure we didn't miss any on our list. We are excited to get our blinds and can't wait to install them!

Size changes price dramatically,
3 or more different promotional prices in the two weeks between requesting and receiving samples.
Just set your fairest price and stick with it! Very annoying to see $46 per blind and then pay over $100 each with all the sales promoted

I'm so enthralled with this company. From the perfection of the product to, more importantly, dealing with customer service. Both of my orders, I measured incorrectly. I can't begin to explain how wonderfully friendly SelectBlinds were and how respectfully they treated me. I've already recommended them, very highly I might add, to numerous friends. I will always order from them anytime I want to make window coverings changes. Truly an amazing company to deal with.

I have never measured for window coverings before and i feel a bit unsure if i measured correctly. I was hoping your installers would come out to measure and install as with my window shutters. Also there wasn't an option to have 3 blinds white (in the laundry room) and 2 blinds beige (for the recreation room) so i ordered all of them one color. That wasn't necessarily what i had in mind. I did however like the price (not the handling fee), and i am hoping the quality is just as pleasing.

It was fairly easy… easy to get samples… which was a big help for me… the colors definitely look different in my house than online… a bit pricey but think SelectBlinds will look nice… i think they are going to look great am pleased with the quality of the solar shades i bought several years ago for my study… open and shut them every day (bought the chain cord)…. They look and work like new… hope to enjoy these as much

My 7th blind
My 7th blind. Love my bright white color blinds. SelectBlinds bring life into my rooms even on cloudy days. Delivery usually very fast. Blinds fit perfectly. I have one still in the package waiting for completion of repairs in the room but I am confident that it will also be a good fit. Overall good wood and aluminum blinds and just placed my first faux wood order. Prices reasonable for a. Custom made blind.

I ordered the 2" light filtering cellular and decided to order a single sample of the Village Pewter because when you look at the colors online it shows the wallstreet to be lighter... at least on my screen but the Pewter sample is definitely a lighter color. Could the colors on the webpage for this cellular be switched? It would be nice if you have a virtual function where you could upload a room photo and see the different blinds.

My only complaint are your cordless roller blinds. SelectBlinds do not retract easily - we end up having to roll them up manually turning the roller. It is a pain. Thank goodness the windows are small.

I just ordered 15 double cellular shades for our new...
I just ordered 15 double cellular shades for our new home. I have used Select Blinds before and was very happy with the experience. So far this experience has been great. I just wish SelectBlinds offered direct low voltage wired motorized blinds as a option to battery powered as 2 of the windows are about 15 feet up and house is already wired for them. I will have to go to a different company for them unfortunately.

Best customer service ever!
I miss measured one of my drapes. I contacted customer service immediately and SelectBlinds were very understanding and very absolutely the best at helping me to get it worked out by getting me a replacement at the correct size (even though it was my error in measuring). They even made a complimentary phone call to me to update me on the status of my order and to let me know that they had reimbursed me for the mis-measured drape. I really do love my new blinds! Their products are top quality and exactly as I expected them to be!

Window shades
Samples take time and promotions are confusing at times. Delivery and siding were awesome and shades look great. Install was pretty simple to do HOWEVER needed to purchase all new stainless steel screws. Screws provided were not good quality and heads stripped out before getting into wall. Screws must go all way in for blinds to fit into space. Otherwise a positive experience!

The website lacks information, for example does not talk about the Li Ion battery being offered as an additional accessory if the one that comes with the shade stops working and could not find a bigger picture of the roller shade with the cassette. No way to visualize how it looks in a tiny cutout picture. However, the CSR that I spoke with was extremely helpful in answering all my questions but also helped with the pricing as well.

The measuring video and the actual product order are...
The measuring video and the actual product order are conflicting. The video tells me to add 1/8 to height measurements and 1/8 deduct to the width. The factory will cut 3/8 shorter. These deducts would account for a 1/2", which will create a opening where light will pass. I would make a change and say the inside blind measure should be exact, because you will make a 3/8 deduction at the factory to create clearance. Just a thought.

Blinds are Good; Customer Service is Lousy
I ordered 4 cellular shades for windows and 1 vertical cellular shade for a sliding glass door. The blinds were well packaged and arrived on time. Installation took some time, especially for the vertical cellular shade. However the continuous loop cords for 3 of the blinds were too short - by 7 feet! This is where I began to get the runaround from customer service. I called customer service on a Saturday and requested longer cords but it was not until the Monday nine days later that the replacement cords were shipped to me. When the cords arrived there were only two cords, instead of three. Plus one of the two cords was the wrong color. It was brown instead of white to match the two of the blinds that I ordered. During each of my phone calls I asked to speak with a manager. I was told that a manager would get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. I thought by the end of the day would be reasonable. I was given the "24 to 48 hour" refrain on Saturdays as well as weekdays. I never received a call back from a manager. After several days, I received an email from a manager regarding the multiple errors on my order. Eventually the replacement cords in the correct number, color, and length arrived at my home, but it was 30 days from the date of my original order. To the credit of the manager I received a financial rebate for the turmoil and delays I experienced. My conclusions: decent product; lousy customer service.

The shipping time to receive the samples took a quite a bit longer than expected. We've been shopping quite a bit since the original request, and instead of ordering blinds for numerous windows, we will only be ordering them for this one. The quality of the sample, and the ease of the website helped make sure we ordered the right ones... The lead times was the only complaint.
