My situation:
The shipping took almost a month, so by the time the order had shipped I was on vacation with my family. When I returned and checked the tracking number, it said that the package had been delivered but I obviously did not receive it, and my neighbors had not seen it. I then contacted the post office and the post office said that the package was not there. Sheinside does not have signature confirmation even though they take a ridiculously long time shipping (~1 month) and they ship overseas, so your package can be lost at any time and if the package actually arrives it can just be dumped at your door without a signature so that it can be stolen. In addition, customer service at Sheinside is unhelpful and refused to resend the items or give me a refund. They basically kept repeating that it was the fault of the post office, no matter what I said to them. It was like they did not or just chose not to understand what I was saying. IF THERE IS NO DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, THE POST OFFICE IS ALLOWED TO PUT THE PACKAGE OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR SO THE POST OFFICE IS NOT AT FAULT! A responsible sender needs to ensure that the package is delivered in a SECURE manner, especially if it comes from overseas!
I have paid ~$100 to Sheinside for a package that has somehow been lost or stolen because of an unreliable shipping method THAT THE SENDER HAS CHOSEN and the sender refuses take responsibility for it or correct it in any way. Basically, this means that I have given $100 away and waited for a MONTH on my order and I have gotten nothing for it. Order at your OWN risk, because once you order, REGARDLESS of whether you receive your item or not, your money is theirs forever.
WHAT? I paid for return insurance for a credit? But I bought my clothes on credit. When you ask for cash, SheIn give you headache instructions claiming money already transferred. CHECK YOUR BANK! What bank? I paid with PayPal. So I open a dispute and Shein says with a shotgun to my head, that they won't give you money the money they already claimed they gave you until you close the dispute. PAYPAL was horrified this is against regulations. Here is a copy of what happened when I went to contact SHEIN this is there customer service -

Tiffany you said you already refunded the money. You lied to me and are holding my money. YOU KNOW VERY WELL PayPal will not award me money you have refunded. I will not trust you I trust them. You and SHEIN have lied to me. You said you already funded my money and I should check the bank. Items returned a month ago.
1- What you see is NOT what you get: Photos SheIn display are usually ripped off Asos, topshop, forever21,... etc and what they do, is a bad replica of the original item, so you end up paying for something that totally not worth it, in terms of the cut, material and sewing
2- Sizing: As any asian/Chinese website, you have to read the measurments, and even by doing this, you need to size up after that, the funny thing, that sometimes it is true to size and some other times it is not, so good luck guessing...
3- Reviews: They don't post bad reviews, anything under 3 stars don't get posted, i tried it myself and noticed it through out the whole website, the only case they let a 1 star through, it's when the comment is postive and most likely the person who did the review forgot to choose how many stars, check it yourself!
4- pre-order: The idea behind it, they post an item and if you pre-ordered early you get "they claim" 50% discount... i have been waiting 2 months for ONE SHIRT, and they say "It maybe lost" that's the customer service reply. Never ever do pre-orders, you will never recieve them, if you like an item so bad, wait till it says 24hrs shipping, and then order it, because with the maybe lost order, my firend ordered the same item when it was at the 24hrs state, and she recieved it
5- Shipping: If the item says 24hrs shipping, and you paid for express shipping, order arrives in time, other than that forget about it. I have 2 orders with HKPost placed 2 months ago and didn't arrive, they refused to refund one of them to my credit card, just to my shein wallet, and they refunded the other one... because they said it might be lost!
6- Customer Service: Polit, fast response, but useless, they just do refunds, they never even take the time to look at your account or really try to help.
I will not shop there again and i won't recommend it, i recieved some good items from them, but there is no consistency and this is by far the worst thing!
And finally, i wish i could insert a screen shot here, they sent me an email with "40% off" if i write a good review!

Well there must be some kind of international trade law that makes this illegal! SheIn charge my credit card immediately, don't ship my order. Don't tell me until 16 days after my order was placed that their warehouse system is not working and you don't when it will be. And then ask me if I want to cancel my order and they will give me a store credit!?
Not to mention they have products online that are out of stock but they don't have their website updated to show that little piece of very important information, so they email me a week after I have purchased an item to tell me "It Is out of Stock"! And then give me a store credit!? Then I'm told if I want my money put back on my credit card it will take up to 20 days to receive it!? It sure as heck doesn't take that long for them to charge me credit card!
I am reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission, the International Trade Administration and World Trade Organization.
Trust me you do not want to purchase from this company! It should be shut down!

Okay, at first the representative is very nice. Telling me I will get a reshipment immediately. So I was okay on the first day... then comes few days later, the updates on my status of order was inaccurate and confusing.
I repeatedly contacted customer service to get an answer as it has been beyond my 3-5 days shipping... they just keep telling me it will ship in 2-3 days. Which it has been beyond 2 weeks now and now the next representative is telling me it will be shipped in 6-9 days?!
THIS IS RIDICULOUS. You are taking my money and keep lying to me about the shipment dates, at this rate I will not receive my package for months later.
This is a nightmare shopping experience.

The Customer service have improved dramatically, personal email and resolving the issue since I've posted this review. Finally received my items within a week after reviewing this company.
But sadly...
I am not satisfied with the items that I've purchased. It was very very very disappointing. I waited for almost a month for my items... and the shoes I bought, the heel broke off within an hour of wearing on the very first day.
The two white tops I've purchased is both practically see through.
Please tell me how can I write a complimentary review base on how I just wasted my money on things that is broken and not wearable?
I am fairly angry because I bought the shoes for my birthday and they broke... just like that. I had to run to buy a new pair of shoes while I was on my way to the dinner.
Can you tell me how can you FIX that?

I had my fair share of experiences purchasing online and currently working in the e-commerce industry (Fashion department).
I would dare to tell you, Sheinside clothing are overpriced considering the bad quality of the clothes.
Of course, you might find some decent items on there but even my suppliers/merchants can do sourcing at a better price point and quality than what Sheinside has to offered.(Their source is definitely from China, perhaps Guangdong)
Maybe they up their game since then, that I can't justify that in all honestly, because since that last experience I had with them, I've stopped purchasing from Sheinside all together.

A. K. A. They did not bother having any sort of conversation with me and instead provided me with three links. Let me break these links down for you... The first link is for the UPS site. From what I understand SheInside's WAREHOUSE (not company itself - which is in China) is in California. At some point the warehouse delivers the package to the UPS site who is then supposed to ship to me. So I click the first link, go to UPS site, type in my tracking number, and get this message: (A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated. Label created on 9/26/2014. Scheduled Delivery: Unavailable) So a LABEL was created for my package, but my package was not sent to me. I used the "live chat" option on the UPS site and spoke to someone who explained to me that my shipping information was sent to them by SheInside but they never received the package. Awesome.
The second link literally takes you to the SheInside site and gives you a message saying "404 Error. Sorry, the page you are looking for can not be found. Please go to our homepage or check out our recommendations below." SO you aren't helping me AND you're going to try to recommend more clothes for me to buy that you will never send me?
The third link GIVES YOU THE SAME AS THE SECOND. However, you can log in to your SheInside account and click "my orders". Once I do that I see the four items I ordered on 9/11 with their prices and details. On the right hand side it says "Shipped" in red letters. Shipped to who? Because it wasn't me! Below the "shipped" there is a button that says track. I click that and I get a little window that pops up and says:

LOL so they are directing me back to the UPS site where all I find out AGAIN is that they do not have my package. Was I just robbed or what? I have sent numberous emails to this company and no one gives me a real answers just more links that lead to no where and there is NO PHONE NUMBER.
The icing on the cake: I just got a reply from them today informing me that they have a holiday for an entire week and will not be responding to me until 10/8

This was my first experience, I was here because of the thousands of people promoting SHEIN, and I was like they had a great experience and so should I - I was so wrong, Please be very careful and buy at your own risk because I don't think this company cares or will even bother to help you when you need help. I am now scared to even try AliExpress as both companies are Chinese and wondering if that is the norm with customer service with these companies
PS: I have not received any products to take pictures and review so far, however while purchasing did realise that their sizes are not same through out - so a size XL will be different inches in each product, so if you still buy, choose wisely
I was informed that I ordered my items off www.sheinside.com NOT us.sheinside.com so I did not qualify for free returns. Please see picture attached of the conversation... I apparently was not "paying attention" enough. I could not believe a customer service agent was telling a paying customer to pay attention. Completely out of line in my opinion. However, all the links the man sent me to clarify the return policy directed me to us.sheinside.com return policy webpage which states clearly "free returns". When I asked for the www.sheinside.com return policy link he sent me a link that directed me right back to us.sheinside.com's return page and a picture of a return policy typed out. Finally the man said SheIn would give me "a free return shipping label this time." When he asked what items I wanted to return I told him the coat and he said "only this one?" I said yes, I hadn't received the other items in my order. I was then told that I could wait till I received them all and then contact them! I think I can make that decision on my own? And based on reviews of how long their shipping can take I didn't want to wait around for that order till I got my refund on the coat.
My experience has been unbelievable... After requesting what I would think is reasonable information (a link to the page I apparently ordered from for the return policy) and not being able to produce it and then being told I should just wait and contact them another time? Also, after reviewing the webpage I have realized there is no phone number to speak with customer service agents over the phone, this is a red flag in my opinion. It should be noted that I am still not able to access the webpage www.sheinside.com. Try it yourself...
1/12 Dana said she will ship out to me in that day, but she didnt. So i wrote again for only a tracking number as they already mentioned of all the items is well prepared and only waiting for courier to go pick up. The next day, as i expected, no tracking, nothing.
They kept lying and delaying till 7/12 to ship out and i just got it today!

Well alright, i bought the clothes, not the packing. When my boyfriend was opening for me. I was just so upset ad mad. My eyes got cheated from the website. All the colors are so bad. I had never done an online shopping made me feel mad. The quality is so low which i could spend 10 buck for each to have them from a street! The most expensive is the Beige Detachable Fur Collar Vest Wide Lapel Zipper Coat, the color is pink, not beige! It look extremely low class which i will not wear for sure. Black High Waist Striped Skirt material is so hard like thats a fake skirt. Others are rubbish...
I always do online shopping from Mango, and shop in H&M. I dont think i have too high expectation or standard on clothes. This is my first time to put my new closthes all together into an old plastic bag, treating them like as rubbish!

I had contacted the company to initiate a return using their live chat as per the instructions on their website after receiving an item that did not fit (SheIn sent me an M instead of S) and another item with fabric that was already pulled. After attempting to speak to multiple people via live chat and having them close the chat on me, ultimately cutting any attempt at communication, I attempted yet again to speak to someone via chat, but their chat service stopped working on my account with my IP address (I tested it using a different IP address and it worked which makes it clear that they blocked me). I contacted them by email and left a negative review on this website due to their poor customer service. As a customer, I should not feel like I need to run around chasing a company to do something as simple as a return. They did not respond to my email immediately, but then messaged me here asking me to email them so we could resolve the problem. They offered to help me with the return, but I told them that I would be away for a while and could not resolve this right now. They offered me a partial refund for the issues that they had caused and said it would take 10-30 days to receive it. I was content with this agreement, however, I have been waiting for about 10 days now. In the mean time, they kept emailing me asking me to change my review to something more positive. I deleted my previous review, but it is quite clear what happened here. They never sent me the refund... they just wanted me to delete my review. It does not take that long to receive a refund EVER. Do NOT be fooled if they do so this to you.
I wonder how this company is still in business. If you're going to engage in fraudulent behaviour, how can you still be operating? You are a disgusting company and I will never ever order from you again. I have already told many of my friends not to bother with this website even though the prices are so cheap. A headache for the sole reason that they do not know how to own a business.
Also funny thing is... if you just wanted me to delete my previous negative review, do you think that was going to stop me from leaving another one? By the way, I will NOT delete this review because it is honest and you STEAL PEOPLE'S MONEY.

I ordered some items from shein. This wasn't my first time ordering from here, but after my trial order went well I decided to order more things. 2 of them were good purchases, i order 2 sets of night wear and 2 other shirts. One of the night wear pieces ripped within 2 minutes of trying it on, not due to size because I had purchased the same item previously in a different color and it fit fine. The other was not true to size, one shirt was tight in the shoulder/sleeve area and the other shirt did not look the way i though it would. I sewed the rip in one of the night where pieces, so 3/6 wasn't that bad. However I can't return the too small night wear piece and the other 2 shirt I can. I sent them back with the prepaid postage last week on the day after Halloween and the tracking number shows that it hasn't even left the city where I shipped from. I'm not sure what is on the label, but It has been almost a week, and will probably be another week before I actually get a refund. On top of that there's no humans to contact only robots that don't understand your questions and say "I will take your feedback and continue to work hard" but my questions are left unanswered.
Look, I get the concept. I get I'm not getting label clothing, but don't waste your savings or hard earned money. You won't be saving but instead losing. Returning anything will add more cost and by that time not even worth it.
I understand synthetic fabric. It can be nice or it can be this. I got things for my child and I. Couple cute things came in for both of us. For me two blouses barely passed, one I have to realign and resew buttons on properly. But I hope no one hugs me and feels my blouses. One cardigan was cut cheap polyester and edges weren't even sewn in a seem or on outside. Literally uneven cut edges for world to see. At least sew pretty fabric edging or something.
I would not even use this for back to school in homes that struggle to get by. I'd stick to local low end clothing if necessary. And if option for those struggling, save a little longer and buy better quality.
If SheIn used a rayon polyester blend at least they could have a classier product low cost and it hangs beautifully. Charge couple bucks more and not get millions of unhappy one time customers.
It can fly in nations where people literally gave nothing and happy to have clothing, but they need to end it in "western world." Or up the quality.
For women stating it's hit or miss, it is still too much money to lose getting three garbage products and one "I like," in the order. I bought 9 products 2 were ok, 1 was cute not embarrassing for me or my child, and rest I wouldn't give to a toy bin for barbie to wear.
It works for the company but that's their gain. Meanwhile the women sewing all day probably don't care because paid garbage. So who wins?
DON'T DO IT! Keep your money! I will never buy there again. I hope I saved someone wasting their cash.
If you do decide to chance it, know your true current measurements. Then compare with each product you order separately in sizing chart and you will get right size. I got every piece fit properly because I looked as size chart in each individual piece.

In a chat with Kevin on June 5th, I was advised "Due to some problem in our factory, recently thousands of orders are inundating our factory, there might be some delay, sorry for that, we will urge our relevant department to send your order asap"
In a chat with Eva on June 8th, I was told that the reason for the delay of shipment was due to too many "bestsellers" in my order.
The way the representatives communicate via email and chat is ridiculous! I just want my items if it is claimed to be "too late" to cancel. There aren't anymore tickets that I can open without being completely frustrated with this company.

Nothing is resolved because I still don't have my items and I'm constantly being lied to.
I spent around £50 ($80 odd) and out of curiosity did a little research (after I'd purchased stuff - stupid me) and found all these bad reviews, instantly scared me, so I'm like oops. This was on a Tuesday, I email them ON that Tuesday like, sorry I want to cancel my order bla bla. SheIn didn't reply by the end of the week so I phone PayPal (I don't have an account but I payed as a guest so it's still their site) and I'm like right this is my situation what do I do, I'm told to phone back next week, give them 7 days to do something about it or I can open a dispute. So a week later is today, I still hadn't had a response from them and I was planning on calling PayPal later in the day - what are the chances, I get an email from 'Jacqueline' at sheinside, telling me, oh we are sorry you want to cancel, how about an exchange, a gift card for $100 or a refund of $84.23 (or whatever it was) and the email ends with 'pls confirm:-)'
First off, I want to cancel my order, I don't want to be bribed into something else, when I have already waited a week to hear back at all. Secondly, why offer me an $100 gift card when I only spent $80? That doesn't make sense to me at all - bribery.
The email was totally unprofessional, badly typed and frankly quite annoying.
So I email back like no, I want a refund of the full amount of '$.'
But if it's taken them this long to reply I'm not waiting, so I phoned PayPal and got a dispute opened for the seller being uncooperative.
I'm not taking any chances with the amount of bad reviews I've seen about this site. Apparently the take other sites photos without permission and the garments don't even look the same in person as on the website, rubbish quality and they take AGES to arrive.
While I was waiting on a reply I got THREE emails offering me 15% off! 'this code is specific to your email' - again, bribery.
I advise everyone NOT to buy anything from this site if you don't want hassle.
In the future I'll be looking up reviews on websites before I order from them.
Common advice: read the reviews. Look for the reviews with pictures, preferably of customers actually wearing the item. Check the negative reviews to see what people had a problem with; maybe you can deal with an issue that SheIn couldn't stand. (ex. A lot of the clothes come very thin, but there are customers who mind that as much as others.) Sometimes you'll also find 5-star reviews, but the actual content of the review is negative as well. They're probably misclicks. If the reviews are too vague, I'd stay away from the product. However, some products will have pages of reviews to go off of, and if that's the case, you're bound to find some more detailed ones in the bunch. It's good to stay skeptical, though I've found the reviews on the site that I've gone through so far can be trusted.
Sizing is always tricky with these types of sites. Reviewers are pretty good about letting others know how it fits on their own body type in hopes of enlightening future customers. Everything I've bought so far has fit me just fine thanks to choosing my sizing based on those reviews. There's even a survey by each reviewed item telling customers whether others found it running small, large, or true to size according to the product description. Even the one-size items are pretty good.
I tend to place my orders in small amounts, typically no more than a $20 including the shipping/return insurance, which I'll get to in a second. It seems kind of pessimistic, but I always go in with the mindset of, "How mad will I be if I waste $4 on an item that I end up not liking?" My very first order on SheIn was a $25 hoodie, and everything turned out really great, but for me that's still a risk I would only recommend taking once in a while if at all.
Standard shipping to the US is actually free on this site, although shipping insurance is $2.99, which still isn't terrible. The insurance is optional, and I've placed an order without it before and have had no issues. Paying the insurance allows you to skip paying the handling fee for returns. I'll opt of paying the shipping insurance fee if the order is super cheap (which, for me, is maybe anything less than $7) because sometimes I can stand losing out on a couple bucks in case I don't like a product. Sometimes I'll pay more for food that I regret buying, so in my head it's not that huge of a consequence. I've also never had any big problems with shipping, although recently I noticed a discrepancy between the SheIn site and the USPS site in terms of tracking my package (I'll add screenshots below). Normally, I don't have to wait more than two weeks for any order.
All in all, SheIn's a pretty good site for supplementing your wardrobe, but I don't recommend it being your primary source for clothing and accessories. You generally get what you pay for, and anything at a dirt cheap price may just end up being dirt cheap quality.
Shipping - for the amount I purchased I was qualify for expedited shipping. I received the package on May 18,2017. I think shipping time was decent. It took a while for them to prepare the package due to the warehouse relocation. SheIn offered me 500 SHEIN points for the delay which is reasonable.
Products - out of the 13 items I received, I kept 7 of them. I sent back 4 items because 2 of the tops didn't look good on me, a sweater I bought was made out of very thin material and totally different than what I thought, and a pair of high heels were too high for me. I also received a swimsuit that has a hole in it. I paid around $14 after discount for it and they offered $6 refund and I could keep it. At first I thought I could fix the hole and wear it, but even after I fixed the hole, the swimsuit is really short I can't even pull it up to cover my breast. I am not sure how am adult can fit into it. I also ordered a bag that they were out of stock and they gave me a refund for it as well.
Return/refund - I have to say I got my money back in the Shein wallet about 2-3 days after I shipped the package out and I think that is quite fast. However, the amount of money I got back was really confusing. Since I used the coupon code, the system automatically adjusted the prices to an amount that I don't know how they came up with. I purchased the bag at $21 and I got a refund of $16.88. I tried divide the $40 discount by the 13 items I purchased and it worked out to be around $3.08 per item. That should be the amount deducted from each item for the discount so I should have got $17.92 back. It is not much for 1 items but I had to get refund for 5 items and that adds up. Another $5-6 missing for just doing a return. When I email customer service about this the rep just told me their system auto calculates it. And the customer service rep really like to say " hope you understand". If they are a good company they should look into their system and fix this error, not just blame it on the system and say there is nothing they could do.
If you live anywhere outside the US, please DO NOT PURCHASE THE INSURNACE, it is totally useless. I paid $45 to send the package back to them thinking I purchased the insurance I would get some reimbursement for the return shipping, but when I ask the CSR he/she said it is not available unless you live in the states. If it is only available for people in the US, then why people living in other countries can pay for this option? The system should realize it when we entered our shipping address. This is really a scam. They scam people into paying for it and then tell you it is not available.
Overall I think this company is not doing business right, especially with their return policy. Once you give your money to them it's not easy to get the full amount back. I am probably not going to purchase from them again and definitely not recommending them to anyone I know.
I ordered 2 sweaters that were billed as "oversized" and only came in one size, which, based on experience elsewhere, I took to mean that SheIn were big sweaters that would fit just about anyone. I'm usually a medium in clothing, so I assumed they would be large on me, which is what I wanted. When they arrived, however, I found that they were quite small--maybe they'd be oversized on a kid, but not on an average-sized woman. They wouldn't fir a larger woman at all. I was looking forward to some big, cozy sweaters, so I was disappointed. The sweaters are fine, but not really what I expected.
As for quality, they're not the best. They have no labels, which besides being kinda shady is annoying because I don't know what they're made of or how to properly care for them. The sweaters each had a lot of loose threads and some frayed seams and edges, and were all-around cheaply made. They also smelled like gasoline, but for some reason every clothing item from China seems to smell like that. I've read about the nightmare that is their returns policy, so I will be keeping the sweaters (I've been airing them out--they smelled pretty bad), though they're hardly what I was led to believe I was buying. Oh well.
In all, I got two cheap sweaters for not too much money, but I would definitely not order from SheInside again. There's too little information about the products and the company, the quality is poor, and I don't feel like trying to guess what their sizing system is. I would not recommend purchasing from them. While it might be more expensive, you'll get a better, more consistent product from sites like ModCloth. And always read site reviews first!

Avoid this site. They take weeks to ship items that claim they will be shipped within a few days. As such, items that I'd purchased as gifts for people were no longer viable for me. Due to their false information re: shipping times, I had to purchase other gifts from other stores to give to the people I'd bought these gifts for. Due to this being their fault, I wanted a refund but was told I would need to pay for return shipping. This seems completely bizarre to me considering that it was THEIR fault and not mine that these items didn't arrive within the time frames they specified.
Quality is also horrendous. Threads hanging off the clothes and shoddy quality. Very sheer polyester like material - cheap quality, looks awful. Poor workmanship. Sizing is also very bad - they do not conform to standard sizes. Some of the dresses I bought are laughable. If I went out in what they advertise as a 'dress' I'd be getting a few stares from people because they're so short that it looks like a tshirt. Sizing on the blouses I bought are also incredibly off. When I raised this with the incredibly rude and slow to respond customer service rep online, I was told that their sizes worked for other people. This conversation took 1+ hours and nothing was resolved. They are VERY rude and have no idea how to satisfy customers. This won't work for them long term. They have NFI how to interact with customers in a polite or respectful manner and they can't even form proper sentences. Not good for a company selling on an international scale.
After this issue and the gift issue, I was very frustrated with their service and asked that they cover the return postage (FYI, the company is actually located in CHINA and this isn't referred to anywhere on the site). The shipping cost to send this back for my order ($100+ worth of clothing) is incredibly hefty and I believe it is completely unjust to expect that I pay that considering that they are the ones in the wrong.
Please read reviews carefully, I suspect that they even write their own 'positive' reviews on these sites and I know from reading other reviews, people have been asked to delete their negative feedback. Their Facebook page also hides customer comments to the left of the page and those who raise a concern are frequently asked to private message them instead.
This site needs to be reported, they can't keep providing such awful service and products and getting away with it.
This however, is not the most insidious aspect of Sheinside or Shein as SheIn now call themselves. As soon as I got my clothes, almost 4 weeks later. I returned the clothes because I did not want anything to do with the company. Online it says that you will get refunded if you return the clothes. When I emailed they said that they would refund me. I sent in the clothes to their warehouse in New Jersey (the items got there in 2 days- now that's actually expedited shipping) and I get an email from them 3 days after the articles of clothing arrived saying that I would be refunded 24-48 hours to my paypal. That was 4 days ago. This company is quick to take your money and then is trying to steal it. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Also, I am going to report this company to the governmental internet crime complaint center and show all the emails of this fraud if I do not receive my money by tomorrow.
Key Points:
-They lie about the speed of shipping and I suspect that a lot of the good reviews that they have are actually robots. If you look closely at the spelling of most of the 5 star reviews you will notice a pattern also.
- The costumer service is terrible and basically and not accessible.
- They lie about the speed of returns, and may in fact try to keep your money as I have yet to see my money refunded.
DO NOT SHOP SHIENSIDE
Recently I bought a cute designer inspired piece and it would not fit over my backside. Sorry, I'm 29 inch waist and 40 inch backside. It's not easy enough but this was not good.
I wrote customer service and told them of my dilemma and they essentially asked me to pay to have it shipped back to the warehouse.
So I wrote back, No... you did not display the proper sizing chart. So, you send me a return label. Right? Well, they passively told me no and after a few emails they changed their mind.
So, I told them I wanted a refund on to my card. They said they would put it in my "online wallet".
SO I wrote back, No, AGAIN, you did not display the correct sizing chart and I want my money back for the cost of the dress. They said that they would issue the refund and said it would take no more than 20 business days to get it back. They also said to contact my bank if I didn't see the money.
On day 23 there was still no sign of my money. So, yes, I called my bank. They said that they would have to create a dispute to make sure that I got my money.
So, in the end, this is what I think. They are a cheap company. They do not want to refund any money like any normal company and just LOVE to tell their customers NO. Even if it's not a direct "no" it's still a no regardless.
I love some of the things that they have but the person that is inputting the data for the sizing chart is mostly off on the size. Also, the customer service is just a plain pain in the
A$$! So, even though I have been shopping with them I'm going to have to say, no more. You can get the same quality of clothing from other online stores. There's not such a huge variety but at least you don't have to wait for a month or longer and you don't have to deal with a customer service issue.

***EDIT*** Sheinside finally did refund my money, but only after they were backed up against a wall. When I would not cut my losses and accept the fact that i was stuck with an unusable garment, their solution was to offer me a 32% discount code. Which is useless to me because i will never buy from this site again, but even if i were to ever purchase anything from this site again, 30% discount codes are everywhere. So basically their solution was a big $#*! you. After days of back and forth with customer service, I accepted that talking to them was a dead end and filed a complaint and claim with paypal, then wrote a review here. The customer service rep offered me a refund before paypal forced their hand because they wanted me to change my review. So yes sheinside will refund your money, but not because they're responsible vendors, they will refund you because they're forced to
Anyways, after my last email attempt, they didn't reply until about three days later, when finally I found a shipping confirmation, saying 'dont worry dear your order has been shipped out'. Surprisingly, my order came in five days, which I was sure was an express shipping although I didn't ask for it, probably to make up for the delay. When I was just about to appreciate their kind gesture, if it was really what they did, I was made even more disappointed, bordering on angry, on what I saw (and, err, 'smelled'). Gosh. The quality was so bad, cheap, seams everywhere, on what seems to me like an 8-year old girl's jacket. On top of it all, it STINKS. Real bad. Like they just dipped the jacket into a bucket of rat's pee and left it overnight. I don't even have the energy to contact them anymore. It's just worthless. I just have to accept that I just paid a little under thirty dollars for some random people in China to prank me with an express shipping of stinky clothes. 'Thank you', She Inside. Not again.
I felt like I was the customer service agent and he was an angry customer that I was responsible for calming down.
I just made a call to the *******096 customer service number because I was unsure about how to find my return label after I submitted my return. I already submitted my return on the website, but I was unsure of where to find my return label. I explained this to the man on the line and when I couldn't understand his answer, I politely asked him to repeat himself. He had an angry demeanor and yelled back at me his answer. His answer was not helpful and I believed that he did not understand my question. I asked him again and he continued to yell at me and tell me that he did not want to have to repeat himself. I stayed calm and maintained a neutral tone the whole time, but he did not.
Once he figured out my actual issue, he explained that I could only return one item for free. I did not know this before but I accepted it and decided that I only wanted to return one item. I told him to return the item that had the highest price. He told me that they were all the same price, which was NOT true. He lied to me. I told him that was not true and he grumbled. He told me "you should not shop like that, that is not the point". That was absolutely uncalled for and rude. Who is he to tell me how to shop? I was within my right to return one item. He called me "annoying" and a "the worst customer". I told politely him that I would not handle him being rude. Then, he hung up on me. So, I never got to make my return. This is not customer service. He was aggressive, rude, and offensive toward me and would simply not let me make my return.
*UPDATE: Because I wrote this review, I received an email from a customer service agent who initiated my return. They were kind and gave me a special privilege of returning my items with "free returns" as they advertise on the Shein website. NOTE: their "free returns" are only for ONE item. Pretty deceiving. But, since I was treated like crap, they let me return everything. Thanks, Shein!*
I went to the post office to pick up the package. However, the number was not on their system and parcel force did not leave it at the post office. Shein emailed me to say SheIn were very sorry for the inconvenience but the onus was on me to find the parcel. No refund could be given until they received back the missing parcel at the depot. This was their email; "Hi there,
We are really so sorry for the inconvenience brought to you.

I have no passwords for the website and parcel force do not have the reference on their system. I asked Shein to find the parcel or refund me. Afterall, it is their warehouse despatching. The answer for the second time was less than helpful "The best way to find the whereabouts of your parcel depends on you. As you know, we would be more than happy to contact them but are afraid they might have additional questions we are unable to answer. This will prevent any confusion and get your package to you as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact us again if there is anything else I can assist you with".
"And also we can issue the full refund to you. But the refund group can only process the refund to you once the warehouse get your return parcel, really sorry for all continued problem brought to you.
Once the parcel returned to us finally, we will process the refund to you as soon as possible.

So pleased this was not a high value order. I wonder if they will now try to find the parcel. I have requested they look into it for the 3rd and final time. Afterwhich, we will certainly not reorder from this site.
PS Since writing this review, I have received a formal email apology and Shein have re sent the sweatshirt. I expect it to arrive in the next week. Cross fingers this time the parcel arrives. I will update this review once we receive the delivery.
