Tickets-Center is a Scam Company -- "100% Buyer's Guarantee" is worthless
If you are reading this review, you are probably considering buying from Tickets-Center, but worried that TicketsCenter might try to rip you off. Go with your first instinct: they are absolutely here to rip you off.

My story is below, but first, a very important Public Service message just for you:

Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid

(Let's get a little Google Search Engine Optimization going here, so this doesn't "accidentally" get buried, resulting in more people getting scammed by these crooks.)

I bought my wife minor league baseball tickets as a gift. She really wanted to see the Rocket City Trash Pandas play the Montgomery Biscuits (because who WOULDN'T want to see that?). I checked the review sites before I bought the tickets, and the reviews made a big deal about Tickets-Center having a 100% Money-Back Guarantee in case an event gets canceled.

This was important, because in February when I bought these tickets, COVID-19 was raging in China and the first cases were beginning to show up in the US. I read Ticket-Center's terms and conditions carefully to make sure that if the coronavirus got worse over here, we would still get our money back. Yep, according to their terms and conditions, we would absolutely be covered.

April rolled around and the Trash Pandas game looked like it wasn't going to happen. I proactively wrote to Tickets-Center to ask if there was anything I needed to do to get my refund in case the game got canceled, and they replied with (and this, including their spelling errors, is a direct quote):

"Rest assured, you are backed by our 100% Buyer's Guarantee that will entitle you to a full refund in the instance that we confirm that the event has been officially cancelled. You won't need to fill a form and it should appear automatically in your account. In addition, as per our sales terms and conditions we can only provide you with a refund if the event is canceled, and no due to rescheduling or postponed events."

(This last part is one of their favorite tricks: the event has to be officially cancelled. If it is postponed, even if it is postponed for years, they will keep your money. There are lots of unhappy Tickets-Center customers who just saw their events pushed to 2021 and who are trying in vain to get a refund right now.)

Tickets-Center kept stringing us along as the date for our April baseball game came and went. No refund in April. No refund in May, because the game hadn't been officially canceled yet. But they assured us all along the way that IF the game was OFFICIALLY cancelled, of course we would immediately get our money back. Guaranteed!

No refund in June... but on June 30th, Minor League Baseball OFFICIALLY ended their season, cancelling all games. They put out a press release and everything. The game was as canceled as canceled can get. Officially.

And now that Tickets-Center's bluff had finally been called, the new story was "No refund."

They thought about it, and they changed their minds. Even though they had a "100% Buyers Guarantee" for a full refund... even though their Terms and Conditions promised a full refund... even though their site text had promised a full refund... even though their emails to us had promised a full refund if the event got canceled... well, now that the event actually was cancelled, they decided they don't want to give anyone their money back. Just didn't feel like it.

Instead, they would like to offer some lame "store credit" with a quick expiration date.

This is a scam. It is not what they "guaranteed." What they are doing is not legal, and I am not accepting their bait and switch.

If I had read this review when I was checking them out, I never would have done business with them, and now you have the information you need to avoid these scammers yourself.

In summation:

Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid

Thank you for spreading the word and protecting your fellow consumers from dishonest businesses.

Highest prices, fees, no refund
I paid a total of $288.95 for two tickets which included A $24 fee for each ticket and a $7 fee for sending e-tickets. My wife as a surprise had bought better tickets on Global Arts Live for $58 each for a total of $116, no extra fees.
Shame on me for jumping on the first tickets I came across and paying those prices and fees.
Be that as it may when I realized she had bought tickets I tried to refund them. With over 2 weeks to go before the concert I thought this wouldn't be a problem but Tickets-Center has a firm non refundable policy and advised me to try to resell my own tickets.
Maybe I have no recourse, maybe I do but knowing there are sellers out there like Global Arts Live selling tickets at reasonably prices, I don't have the heart to sell these at the same rip off prices TC sells them for and will take a loss and sell them for the same fair price GAL gave me.
Instead of making a profit I want to make a statement to warn others and encourage a little revolution against these greedy middlemen and ticket resellers (individuals included) and say, don't use them and don't fall into the same greed inspired trap to profit on the arts and thereby make them less and less accessible to people may love an artist but can't afford to ever see them live.
Personally I can afford this loss but not everyone can.
I also plan to donate what I can to sellers like GAL and really look forward to the day when more people get wise to sellers like TC and stop encouraging them by using thier services.

Ticket-Center is using COVID-19 to lie to and rob customers of their money.
I bought two tickets to Super Cross for March 28th from Ticket-Center, back in January. It was cancelled due to COVID-19. I received an email telling me I would receive a full refund within 2-4 weeks. A month passed by so I called customer service. The representative told me that due to all the events being cancelled it would take longer for the refund to get to me and that she would email me more information that day. I never heard anything from her or Ticket-Center until TWO MONTHS LATER, which was an email telling me that TicketsCenter actually changed their cancellation policies due to COVID-19 and now they will be offering NO REFUNDS whatsoever but instead they are giving me store-credit at 110% of my original amount for a future event. They left me no option, and after everything I've gone through with them the last thing I want is to spend my money through their venue. I feel robbed of my money and I am going to be reporting them to the BBB and will never do business with them again.

AVOID and BUYER BEWARE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, SERVICE and PRICE!
I saw my friend was interested in an event on FaceBook so I clicked it and ordered 2 tickets, one for her birthday. Problem #1: I paid $140.00 for 2 tickets that were being sold at legit ticket places for $31 ea. Fees are ridiculous. This is a 2nd party vendor. Problem #2: When the tickets were emailed to me TicketsCenter wouldn't print. They later had to email them as an attachment. They FINALLY printed. Problem #3: You can't read them after they are printed. The ONLY thing that shows up is the barcode. Now I am left to question whether I will even gain entry to the venue. I called for a refund and was told no and they started offering me random credits. I said no I will go through PayPal which has denied my case that was reopened. My bank won't do a charge back so I am basically screwed! Left holding a losing hand. I will get back on here after the concert to let everyone know if I was able to attend. Horrible experience. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. DON'T DO IT!

Thieves
I was told that because of Covid we could not be refunded our money which is over $2,000! TicketsCenter said they can credit it but has to be used within 18 mths, how can I go to any concert in 18 mths if there are none because of Covid?! These people are the worst and I plan to contact an attorney, go to the media, go to BBB and federal government and absolutely anything else I can think of! They ripped us off during the worst time. Beware people do not use them! I don't even want to give a star at all. They deserve negative stars. They also sent the latest email saying they have no record of us having tickets and they are not affiliated with ticketcenter.com but idiots forgot to take it off at the bottom of email where it clearly says best wishes priority client support for ticket center! Please please don't let these people rip you off and if you are one that has been ripped off please join me in contacting everyone we can!

Tickets-center is horrible - don't get confused with ticket center/tickets online
Long review, will save you some $$$$
The Tickets-center is riding on the confusion it creates with the similar name of Ticket Center/Tickets Online, which has good customer service and operates very differently, I can attest to it since I have been a customer.
I scanned through the complaints against Tickets-Center (ratings of 1.5 stars!), overwhelmingly like mine: We selected 4 seats, purposefully the best seats in the house on first floor for about $145 each (10/3/2018 for a show 12/2/18 a total charge of $627.50). We get an email that states transfer of the tickets to be available on a later date (11/30/18) And then we get an email from Ticketmaster giving me all the information of the tickets that if I accept tickets will be transferred to us. That is when I learned the location of the seats (almost last row of the third level! Not even the elevator goes there), and it's real value of less than a third of what we paid price gouging!.
We did not accept the tickets, we contacted Ticketmaster, who until the day before the event clarified that the tickets have not been transferred to us since we have not accepted them and are still owned by "Chris" the selling party at Tickets-Center (none of this was clear to me until then)
Contacting Tickets-Center was extremely difficult in spite of their logo 100% Buyers Guarantee. Live Chat is not alive and it is not a chat, (for questions about x, enter 1, etc) therefore is nonexistent. I emailed several times and I only received acknowledgment of 2 of those emails and calling them (1800. 833. 7698 and 1800. 361. 7978) is a nightmare when I finally succeeded it was a 55 minute wait, first talked to Jimmy and then was transferred with Tae (a Senior Account Specialist), overall a 1 and half to be told that their sales are final and TicketsCenter insisted that we ought to accept the tickets. All the way until November 30 we insisted on willing to accept tickets on the first floor.
First we want a full refund to my credit card. Additionally I would like that the difference between the 2 companies be a lot more clear and that they are stopped from the abusive practices they have, including price gouging.
There is such a thing as #tickets-center rip off, #tickets-center complaints etc!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
I went to purchase a singular ticket from this site. Before checking out but after entering my card information, I discovered a SIGNIFICANTLY better price on tickets (these were more than double the other price) and went to exit the site. When I hit the back button on my laptop, it checked me out instead. TicketsCenter stole 80$ from me. I immediately got on their customer service chat, and the agent disconnected our chat when i got frustrated and offered no resolution. Next day I called them, they said they had a resolution but couldn't tell me what it was. Call back again the next day, they say they can give me a "one time courtesy refund" and it would be issued in 3-5 business days. They also said theyd send me a cancellation email. Im on day 6 and still no refund, and no one can connect me to the department that authorizes refunds. I also reported them as a scam to the BBB but I want to get as much word out as possible to stay far far away from this company.

SCAM
Due to COVID 19, the venue canceled the event, when I purchased these tickets per Tickets-center.com policy, if the venue canceled the event, monies would be refunded. After 2 months of emailing this company, I finally get a response stating that TicketsCenter have a NEW policy in place due to the PANDEMIC. Their new policy states since this is a widespread problem no refunds will be given ONLY store credits. How do you change a policy after the contract has been signed! Furthermore this company states this "credit" does have an expiration date but doesn't mention the ACTUAL date of expiration. Next, if the country is practicing SOCIAL DISTANCING, how or when can I use this "credit". Venues aren't allowing fans into their building, concerts are being canceled thoughout the year 2020 and there are no future dates planned. Tickets-center.com are not answering any calls, all replies are robotic and the emails are going unanswered. This company is the BIGGEST FRAUD, go elsewhere to purchase your tickets.

Never received tickets
Ticket-Center.com is a 3rd party vender. Purchased 8 Tickets, $1000, were not transferred and was unable to attend event. Several calls were placed in effort to receive electronic of transfer. 30-60 min wait times for an agent.
Several agents attempted to help but ended in them saying you were receive an email with your ticket transfer and the link TicketsCenter sent would not work. Required me to call back and start all over with a new agent. When calls were dropped, their agents say they have no access to make outgoing calls and I had to call back and start over from scratch. Agents follow a script in their protocol and when I tried explaining where I had previously left off, I can to repeat all previous steps to follow problem solving. Drove to the event with agents on phone, trying to get transfer links to work. They promise 100% guarantee and I did not get my money back.

Unethical Business Will Refund EVERYBODY ELSE but me
After causing me a tremendous amount of anxiety and time this business finally emails me today (6/24/20) stating that they're giving me CREDIT?!?!? I can't believe this! Are you serious! When do you actually think that we're going to be able to start attending events again?!?!? I'm a mother of 3, work full-time and go to school... I don't have a flexible schedule and don't want a CREDIT. I WANT THE REFUND I WAS PROMISED WHEN I RECEIVED THE EMAIL ABOUT THE CANCELLATION OF MY EVENT ON 3/11/20! These people are crooks and I'm getting an attorney. BTW google this company and look at their BBB reviews. TicketsCenter have contacted a TON of other people and agreed to refund their money and STILL refuse to refund my money. I hope they feel good robbing a poor family during this difficult time we're facing.

Tickets-Center.com Tickets did not arrive in time for event- Refuse to Refund Money
Purchased tickets on Dec 21,2019 for Hamilton for $954.95 in Atlanta originally on April 7,2020- after multiple reschedules, was going to attend on 8-31-2021 at 7:30 PM EST. Seller attempted to deliver tickets on 8-13-2021, but had a 48 hr window to accept and due to travel I did not accept in time. So, I began to call, email and online chat with Tickets-Center.com. TicketsCenter guaranteed that the tickets would arrive, and (even though never disclosed to the buyer) said they had an internal policy that the sellers could deliver the tickets up to 2 hours before the time of the event. Only after calling Tickets-Cetner.com within the 2 hour window missed by the seller, did the seller try to send the tickets at 6:18 PM EST, 1:12 minutes before the start of the event and missing the stated internal policy of Tickets-Center.com... they refused to give me a refund and said they had no responsibility, even after guaranteeing the tickets would arrive. They tried to ask me to accept the tickets that were sent and tried to say the tickets were delivered. I asked the agent to re-state the policy I had been told multiple times about the two hour window, and asked what happens if the seller does not make the two hour window... NO response and no admitting that they did not even meet their own internal policy with the seller- instead, it is OK for Tickets-Center.com and the "Seller" to steal my $954.95.

Buyer Beware - Refused Covid 19 Refund
I was transferred to the Ticket-Center.com website when purchasing tickets at Fort Worth's new $#*!ies Arena. I purchased two tickets for the Men's Basketball Championship for March 13th, 2020. This happened to be the first day that TX was put on lockdown due to the Covid 19 and all sports events were cancelled. I contacted $#*!ies Arena and TicketsCenter informed me that the cost of my tickets would automatically be refunded. So, I patiently waited. On July 9,2020 I followed up with Ticket-Center.com and after 30 minutes of trying to talk to a human being, which was not an option, I was provided a post that refunds were not being made for Covid 19 since Ticket-center is a resale website. Buyer Beware that if you inadvertently get transferred to this site, don't expect any type of customer service or refund if your event is cancelled!

Horrible customer service and cares nothing more but to collect money
I was sold over priced tickets to start this off but the issue i have comes in with the pandemic that is going on in this country actually the world right now i requested TicketsCenter return my money because i do not feel safe attending any events now or anytime in the future coming up and i di not want to subject my wife to such either as she already has medical issues however the company could care less i kept repeatedly getting the same scripted response about no refunds unless a show is cancelled the show is postponed until who knows when but even with that whats going on right now is not a normal situation and they should understand and honor when someone says they would like their money back and to not put their health at risk but they dont not once have they even sent out any communication about the current corona situation but instead keeps sending advertisements for events that most wont even happen at the planned time they do this again to get money out of people and hold it hostage, i filed a bbb complaint and they still sent the same scripted response and basically again said they dont care in so many words i would recommend anyone buying tickets to look else where with a company that would at least care someone about peoples health and different circumstances but this is not the place at all this was my first and last time ever dealing with this careless company.

I cant believe I have to pay $15.00 to print my own...
I cant believe I have to pay $15.00 to print my own tickets on my own paper with my own ink! With no option to have a real ticket sent to me. What a rip off!!!!!
I WANT TO ADD THAT NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO PAY TO PRINT MY OWN TICKET, IT CAME WITH. VENUE ADVETISING AND A BEER ADVERTISEMENT. SO IN ESSENCE I AM PAYING YOU TO DO NOTHING AND PAYING FOR THE ADVERTISEMENTS THAT AN ADVERTISER ALREADY PAID YOU FOR. WHAT A BUNCH OF GARBAGE. YOU ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MUSIC LOVERS AND THE BANDS TicketsCenter WANT TO SEE! ITS OUTRAGEOUS!! I ENDED UP PAYING 65.50 FOR 2 TICKETS WITH FACE VALUE OF $15 EACH.
WE THE TICKET BUYERS ARE SAVING YOU THE TIME AND MONEY OF HAVING TO PRINT AND MAIL REAL TICKETS. AND YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FACT THAT WE WANT TO SEE THE BANDS WE LOVE SO WE WILL PAY ALL THESE EXTRA CHARGES.

ONE MORE THING THESE CRAPPY E TICKETS LOOK TERRIBLE IN A FRAME OR SCRAP BOOK!!!!

Tickets-Center is a scam operation
I purchased tickets to a Spring Training Baseball game through a Tickets-Center a ticket resale site.
The event was permanently canceled and TicketsCenter said they were going to refund my purchase in 2-4 weeks back on March 13th. They never refunded my account and the event was never rescheduled. I disputed the charge and they issued a store credit. I have to buy premium tickets to some other event out of town I am not interested in.
They have horrible customer service and there is no one you can call. They have robot chat boxes that don't understand your questions. They are saving cash by issuing phony store credits to events you do not want to go to instead of refunding your money for a non-rescheduled event. I recommend you do not do business with this company.

Stay away from this scam website
This website redirects from the venue that you put into a google search. As the user, you think you are actually buying a legit ticket from the venue because there is a seating plan of the venue. TicketsCenter stress you with a countdown timer to buy the ticket, which runs throughout the transaction. So you are putting in your credit card info and details trying to beat the timer, not realizing that you are NOT at the real venue site or that there is some tiny legal somewhere that claims that there are no refunds. So then they email you something with no ticket, eventually you click on a link that directs you to a PDF of Joe Shmo who bought the ticket for around $40 and now you have spent somewhere around $200 and see that Joe's name is on the pdf. Good luck with that at the concert that you are dying to go to! There is no verified process, for instance, ticket master will verify your etickets and also verify if you want to resell them so that 25 people due not purchase the same ticket, print the cheasy pdf and then all show up at the venue for the same one seat. They are incredibly aggressive, they will not give you a refund even if you try to get a refund within 30 minutes of realizing that you have been ripped off and ask them. You have absolutely no recourse as a consumer. There is no way to verify your ticket so that you are covered when you get to the show. The original person may have resold on various scalping sites and you could be one of a group of chumps who just got overly excited to see your band and paid double or triple the price for a pdf of a ticket. No hard ticket will be sent to you as in other legitimate ticket venues. Read the many bad reviews that these guys have. Stay away and buy from a legitimate ticket seller like TICKETMASTER.

Buyer Beware!
I accidentally purchased tickets for the wrong DATE of the Boston Symphony (a date I would no longer be in Massachusetts). I realized it immediately, contacted Tickets-Center within seconds, and yet TicketsCenter would not do anything about it. Up until that point, I was totally fine - and then I realized that the tickets I had just paid $150 each for were actually a Symphony REHEARSAL and not an actual performance as listed on the site! Upon closer inspection of other sites, it became clear that the tickets were still selling on the Tanglewood site for their face value of $34. I am not an inexperienced ticket buyer, and frequently purchase resale tickets from StubHub and other sites. THIS site is downright fraudulent! There is no way I will be able to recoup my money because I would NEVER list rehearsal tickets valued at $34 for $150 and try to pass them off as an official performance. BEWARE! (And notice all of the other reviews for this site from people who had the same kind of experience!)

Total Rip-Off - They drag their feet and don't stand behind their guarantee
Son got caught up ordering tickets thru them when he thought he was on the local box office page. He was in line for the event before TicketsCenter sent him his tickets. Only phone tickets-cold not print or verify. Wasn't sure they would even be accepted. Paid 2x the going rate. He did not know if they would even sit together and where they might end up. Pandemic closures cancelled the event that same night. Was told 3/13/2020 refund would come in 2-4 weeks. Sent BBB after them. Again told 2-4 weeks refund 4/20/2020. Now 5/19 he finally hears from them and they won't refund. They changed their 100% full refund guarantee under which his tickets were purchased to store credit. They give store credit with no events to even schedule for possibly a year in our area. Says you have to use by expiration date but can't seem to find that date anywhere in his correspondence.

Refunds
I bought tickets to the Oakland A's Anaheim Angels game it was supposed to be in April of 2020 obviously the season was canceled and they're not allowing fans I've been trying for 4 months to try to get a refund my son called today and the gentleman was very rude and said all sales are final we told him that all the other agencies that handle tickets were willing to give refunds I'm in my seventies and I'm not in good health and this was like my last game I was going to go to with my son and all I'm asking for is my refund because there are going to be no fans there it's not even be played at Angel Stadium but for some reason TicketsCenter don't want to give a refund I don't understand this I even paid the extra $89 for the insurance and the guy said too bad all all sales are final so don't ever deal with these guys these guys are Crooks and I can't believe they would treat me like this my son even works for the Anaheim Angels and he even called for me to let him know that there is going to be no fans there is going to be no games there and the guy still hung up on him so please don't use these people my name is Gary White my email is white Gary the number 6 at yahoo.com thank you and this is for future buyers also my confirmation number that I bought the tickets are 32389292

DECEPTIVE WEBSITE - NO REFUND POLICY - CROOKS!
On 12/06/2019, I googled ticket masters and clicked on what I thought was a online direct seller. I didn't notice the fine print about them being resellers until too late. It was small font and placed at top edge of the screen. See attached picture. I didn't know that I was buying from a reseller until I received an email confirmation stating that the seller will make my tickets available by 9/01/2020. What! That's like 9 months from now. The venue is on 9/11/2020. I called to cancel my order right away but TicketsCenter refused saying that they have NO REFUND POLICY and that I can resell my tickets to someone else if I didn't want them. How can I resell them if I don't even have the tickets yet? THEY ARE CROOKS! I googled and I could have bought tickets when they go on presale a few days from now, on 12/9/2019 since I have citibank credit card, I get presale access.
