My story is below, but first, a very important Public Service message just for you:
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid

(Let's get a little Google Search Engine Optimization going here, so this doesn't "accidentally" get buried, resulting in more people getting scammed by these crooks.)
I bought my wife minor league baseball tickets as a gift. She really wanted to see the Rocket City Trash Pandas play the Montgomery Biscuits (because who WOULDN'T want to see that?). I checked the review sites before I bought the tickets, and the reviews made a big deal about Tickets-Center having a 100% Money-Back Guarantee in case an event gets canceled.
This was important, because in February when I bought these tickets, COVID-19 was raging in China and the first cases were beginning to show up in the US. I read Ticket-Center's terms and conditions carefully to make sure that if the coronavirus got worse over here, we would still get our money back. Yep, according to their terms and conditions, we would absolutely be covered.
April rolled around and the Trash Pandas game looked like it wasn't going to happen. I proactively wrote to Tickets-Center to ask if there was anything I needed to do to get my refund in case the game got canceled, and they replied with (and this, including their spelling errors, is a direct quote):
"Rest assured, you are backed by our 100% Buyer's Guarantee that will entitle you to a full refund in the instance that we confirm that the event has been officially cancelled. You won't need to fill a form and it should appear automatically in your account. In addition, as per our sales terms and conditions we can only provide you with a refund if the event is canceled, and no due to rescheduling or postponed events."
(This last part is one of their favorite tricks: the event has to be officially cancelled. If it is postponed, even if it is postponed for years, they will keep your money. There are lots of unhappy Tickets-Center customers who just saw their events pushed to 2021 and who are trying in vain to get a refund right now.)
Tickets-Center kept stringing us along as the date for our April baseball game came and went. No refund in April. No refund in May, because the game hadn't been officially canceled yet. But they assured us all along the way that IF the game was OFFICIALLY cancelled, of course we would immediately get our money back. Guaranteed!
No refund in June... but on June 30th, Minor League Baseball OFFICIALLY ended their season, cancelling all games. They put out a press release and everything. The game was as canceled as canceled can get. Officially.
And now that Tickets-Center's bluff had finally been called, the new story was "No refund."
They thought about it, and they changed their minds. Even though they had a "100% Buyers Guarantee" for a full refund... even though their Terms and Conditions promised a full refund... even though their site text had promised a full refund... even though their emails to us had promised a full refund if the event got canceled... well, now that the event actually was cancelled, they decided they don't want to give anyone their money back. Just didn't feel like it.
Instead, they would like to offer some lame "store credit" with a quick expiration date.
This is a scam. It is not what they "guaranteed." What they are doing is not legal, and I am not accepting their bait and switch.
If I had read this review when I was checking them out, I never would have done business with them, and now you have the information you need to avoid these scammers yourself.
In summation:
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid
Tickets-Center.com is a dishonest scam that you should avoid

Thank you for spreading the word and protecting your fellow consumers from dishonest businesses.
Shame on me for jumping on the first tickets I came across and paying those prices and fees.
Be that as it may when I realized she had bought tickets I tried to refund them. With over 2 weeks to go before the concert I thought this wouldn't be a problem but Tickets-Center has a firm non refundable policy and advised me to try to resell my own tickets.
Maybe I have no recourse, maybe I do but knowing there are sellers out there like Global Arts Live selling tickets at reasonably prices, I don't have the heart to sell these at the same rip off prices TC sells them for and will take a loss and sell them for the same fair price GAL gave me.
Instead of making a profit I want to make a statement to warn others and encourage a little revolution against these greedy middlemen and ticket resellers (individuals included) and say, don't use them and don't fall into the same greed inspired trap to profit on the arts and thereby make them less and less accessible to people may love an artist but can't afford to ever see them live.
Personally I can afford this loss but not everyone can.
I also plan to donate what I can to sellers like GAL and really look forward to the day when more people get wise to sellers like TC and stop encouraging them by using thier services.
The Tickets-center is riding on the confusion it creates with the similar name of Ticket Center/Tickets Online, which has good customer service and operates very differently, I can attest to it since I have been a customer.
I scanned through the complaints against Tickets-Center (ratings of 1.5 stars!), overwhelmingly like mine: We selected 4 seats, purposefully the best seats in the house on first floor for about $145 each (10/3/2018 for a show 12/2/18 a total charge of $627.50). We get an email that states transfer of the tickets to be available on a later date (11/30/18) And then we get an email from Ticketmaster giving me all the information of the tickets that if I accept tickets will be transferred to us. That is when I learned the location of the seats (almost last row of the third level! Not even the elevator goes there), and it's real value of less than a third of what we paid price gouging!.
We did not accept the tickets, we contacted Ticketmaster, who until the day before the event clarified that the tickets have not been transferred to us since we have not accepted them and are still owned by "Chris" the selling party at Tickets-Center (none of this was clear to me until then)
Contacting Tickets-Center was extremely difficult in spite of their logo 100% Buyers Guarantee. Live Chat is not alive and it is not a chat, (for questions about x, enter 1, etc) therefore is nonexistent. I emailed several times and I only received acknowledgment of 2 of those emails and calling them (1800. 833. 7698 and 1800. 361. 7978) is a nightmare when I finally succeeded it was a 55 minute wait, first talked to Jimmy and then was transferred with Tae (a Senior Account Specialist), overall a 1 and half to be told that their sales are final and TicketsCenter insisted that we ought to accept the tickets. All the way until November 30 we insisted on willing to accept tickets on the first floor.
First we want a full refund to my credit card. Additionally I would like that the difference between the 2 companies be a lot more clear and that they are stopped from the abusive practices they have, including price gouging.
There is such a thing as #tickets-center rip off, #tickets-center complaints etc!
Several agents attempted to help but ended in them saying you were receive an email with your ticket transfer and the link TicketsCenter sent would not work. Required me to call back and start all over with a new agent. When calls were dropped, their agents say they have no access to make outgoing calls and I had to call back and start over from scratch. Agents follow a script in their protocol and when I tried explaining where I had previously left off, I can to repeat all previous steps to follow problem solving. Drove to the event with agents on phone, trying to get transfer links to work. They promise 100% guarantee and I did not get my money back.
I WANT TO ADD THAT NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO PAY TO PRINT MY OWN TICKET, IT CAME WITH. VENUE ADVETISING AND A BEER ADVERTISEMENT. SO IN ESSENCE I AM PAYING YOU TO DO NOTHING AND PAYING FOR THE ADVERTISEMENTS THAT AN ADVERTISER ALREADY PAID YOU FOR. WHAT A BUNCH OF GARBAGE. YOU ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MUSIC LOVERS AND THE BANDS TicketsCenter WANT TO SEE! ITS OUTRAGEOUS!! I ENDED UP PAYING 65.50 FOR 2 TICKETS WITH FACE VALUE OF $15 EACH.
WE THE TICKET BUYERS ARE SAVING YOU THE TIME AND MONEY OF HAVING TO PRINT AND MAIL REAL TICKETS. AND YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FACT THAT WE WANT TO SEE THE BANDS WE LOVE SO WE WILL PAY ALL THESE EXTRA CHARGES.
ONE MORE THING THESE CRAPPY E TICKETS LOOK TERRIBLE IN A FRAME OR SCRAP BOOK!!!!
The event was permanently canceled and TicketsCenter said they were going to refund my purchase in 2-4 weeks back on March 13th. They never refunded my account and the event was never rescheduled. I disputed the charge and they issued a store credit. I have to buy premium tickets to some other event out of town I am not interested in.
They have horrible customer service and there is no one you can call. They have robot chat boxes that don't understand your questions. They are saving cash by issuing phony store credits to events you do not want to go to instead of refunding your money for a non-rescheduled event. I recommend you do not do business with this company.
