And don't even get me started about their payout schedule which is ridiculous. A buyer has four days to issue a return request, so why isn't the seller getting paid on the fifth day? Nope, they hold your funds and then take 23% of your earnings!
Paying them 23% for what? Nope I'm done. Selling my last pieces and out.
If they change their policy and stop accepting returns for any reason like all other resale websites, maybe I'll rethink it.
But for now, bye-bye.
Won't be surprised to see more sellers to follow.
Other than that my tradesy experience was great. My item was only slightly more worn than the seller's description led me to believe. Nothing that a good dose of brass cleaner and leather conditioner won't cure. All in all -now that I have Finally received my order- I am a happy camper.
Tldr: fedex boo, Tradesy yay.
I was offered a $25 new customer discount but it did not appear at time of check. The reason being that I made the transaction from a different computer than the one I did my search from. Once I called and explained the situation, I was given a credit towards my next purchase.
Completing the purchase was relatively simple, quick and frustration free. Appreciated being able to check out as guest without being forced to set up an account/log in, etc. Might do so later when I have time or if I decide to purchase again from Tradesy, depending on my satisfaction with this (my first) purchase.
My credit card company flagged this as a possible fraudulent purchase and declined the transaction until I was able to confirm. The seller was very cool about it and it ran through no problem the second time. Not only that but the shipping label was created that evening in California and it was delivered in 3 days to Florida.
Each person that I spoke or chatted with was absolutely phenomenal! They listened, followed up and provided honest answers. For a few weeks after attempting my 1st purchase, I was concerned about delivery eta as no info was updated/posted and response from seller was far & spaced in between which made me very uncomfortable and increased my concern. Well, Tradesy stepped in and had the transaction cancelled on my behalf so I would not be charged. Because of Tradesy’s quick actions, I was comfortable in attempting another purchase and very happy that I did!!! **I believe I was told it was possible that my initial attempted purchase may have been lost in transit**. Oh, and due to the amount of $ being spent- I really appreciate that Tradesy request for signature at delivery- this puts my mind at ease for sure!! Thanks Tradesy! I will surely be a repeat customer and refer all to your site!!!

Cleared up for me what type of company Tradesy is currently exclusively for women,
Update 2/10/2022
Watch arrived 2 weeks later and showed up dead and the braclet clasp was worn out to the point the watch popped open with the slightest movement of your wrist. Because of the intricate design of this high end watch, no one in town can get it open to change the battery. So I ended up having to spend $40 bucks to send it back to Movado and have them do the work. Got ahold of tradesey and Tradesy were very prompt in responding letting me know how sorry they were and they'll reimburse me whatever it costs to repair. If they indeed follow through as they say, I will be a loyal customer, just for their customer service alone... I will no longer deal with the seller Ngyen, he showed no concern for taking so long to ship, and never bothered to responded to my issues with the watch.
As mentioned, Bryce helped in finding out the status of an order made in March. In turn helped with the reimbursement of funds onto my credit card. He, in turn, also found many options for me to choose another pair of shoes. I purchased a new pair and it was sent promptly.
My disdain was more for the delivery company… FedEx website stated that my package requires a signature, however I was not given the opportunity to sign for my package and the driver signed for it spelling my last name wrong in the process… there was a car following the delivery truck… please make sure you make arrangements to pick up your package if you're not going to be home so no one steals your package, thankfully someone was home at my house to intercept the package.
The not good: Though the sellers' bio states Tradesy welcome questions, both my very polite, succinct follow ups regarding shipping were ignored. To be fair both inquiries seem to lead to an action on Tradesy (activating the sale, shipping the item).
Overall, I'm looking past that because the item is in fact genuine. But that lack of communication made me apprehensive. Also its the first time I've experienced that and I've sold and bought many items on Tradesy and always answered buyers and potential buyers and up to this time always was replied to. Oh well all is well that ends well!
