Hit or miss. I've learned that apparel is a hit or miss, and since Zulily have clearly stated up front their no return policy, I often don't order anything unless it's an item I'm already familiar with in regards to its quality and size. In general, apparel has been of a lower quality than I'd hoped for, especially for women, so I skip these. Otherwise, I just purchase items that I'm already familiar with (mainly housewares, toys, kids clothing and shoes).
Use of site and purchasing experience: 4 of 5
The Zulily app interface on the iPhone, the iPad, and on its website are all very user friendly. One improvement would be the ability to see all clothes by gender and size (and not after selecting by brand first).
Processing & shipping: 4 of 5
I carefully read through Zulily's purchase/delivery process, so their relatively slow shipping speed (especially compared to the usual online stores) was no surprise to me. Unless noted as guaranteed delivery by a certain date (i. E., Christmas season) under EACH item, expect items to take about 6 weeks to be delivered. Also, as someone else noted, their products are not owned by Zulily unless otherwise noted. They will buy from the manufactures AFTER receiving our orders so the process takes much longer. In my experience, if an item goes out of stock from the manufacturer after I've placed an order, Zulily has either 1) notified me with a later ship date or 2) refunded me along with extra cash for future spending (i. E., $10) for the inconvenience.
Customer service: 5 of 5
Excellent customer service. I always get a prompt response from them with very thorough explanation of any question I pose. One time they were slow to respond, but they quickly explained their situation and also sent me store credit for the delayed response! On another occasion, it'd been over a year since I'd purchased an item that I realized part of the product package was missing (a book set, missing 1 item) because I hadn't fully opened the box until the later date. I wrote them and they immediately apologized, said it was no longer in stock but gave me a reasonable partial refund. It's their customer service that keeps me coming back to their site.
To: *******@zulilly.com
I've decided to forward a message I just emailed to customer service.
I am from Seattle, my experience with Zulilly.com has been dismal, your website states:
How we're different:
We work with thousands of different brands and we don't store inventory. Working this way helps us keep prices low, and it means we can offer fresh products every day. Our usual time from order to shipment is 10-14 days. Perhaps you should say something like... Our goal is to have your order completed within 10 - 14 days. Your experience however, might be different.
Here is the email:
ORDER #s
Hello,
I'm emailing to try to get shipping information.
My order(s) were placed 10 days ago, and so far I've received one item. (Which by the was was disappointing, I considered returning it but frankly, I have little faith in this. Com)
Last week I called to try to get an idea when my purchases might be processed. The representative was very polite and stuck to the script but was not able to give me any idea on what to expect/when.
I told him that I shop almost exclusively online because we live in the country and our options are very limited. We discussed your immediate competition, Amazon and the stellar service Zulily give. He pointed out that I'll save a couple of dollars per item through Zulilly. Whoop, whoop. Big deal.
The three above referenced orders are pretty good sized orders... having said this, unless I can get some specific information about when I can expect delivery, I can tell you, I will NOT shop this online store again.
As I previously stated, I have considerable experience shopping online and have NEVER experienced anything like this. Put yourself in the shoes of your customer. You've just ordered quite a bit, and you are eagerly waiting shipment. Tick-tock, nothing. You call customer service to be told in detail how Zulilly works and the bottom line is... we have no idea when you will get your packages. In the future, you will want to consider shopping for the upcoming season, not the season you are in. WHAT?
Guess what folks... it's 2015. Not happy, not satisfied... Just looked at the order status, once again... no movement.
This is ridiculous.

6/22/2015: Follow-up
I finally received a partial order over the weekend. Leggings are fabulous and shoes adorable. The other items are as others have stated, cheaply made but doable. They will maybe make it a season, so the price is appropriate. I may use them again for shoes and leggings... customer service (the actual servicing) is poor at best. If you choose to use Zulilly, be prepared. Don't spend a lot because if you don't get the item, it's no great loss. If money is tight, DON'T.
I've place three orders. The first arrived within about 3 weeks. Three items in the order and it was right at the end of the "sale". FYI... i did find one of the items I ordered elsewhere for about half the price.
The second order was placed a month ago, and it *still* not delivered. Several items have been received, some are in transit with a trackable id, and some HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN SENT YET.
The last order was place the day after the second order and nothing has been received. And nothing from Zulily regarding the status.
The items that I have received are in poor to decent shape. But everything was jammed in to a shipping bag. Without even a shipping receipt. Many items have loose threads CLEARLY visible... one came with two missing buttons. None of this should have been sent to me and there is a no returns policy. I emailed about the quality and the CS response was basically they take no responsibility for the quality of items they "distribute".
Why the concept fails? Well, this is a Mums and young child focused site. What pregnany gal wants to wait 2 months before receiving their maternity clothes? We want... we NEED a quicker turn-around. Same with baby clothing. Fortunately, I am shopping for the yet-to-be-born, and I have three months still... so baby is OK. But if you are shopping for a child of the "already-born" variety... find another site. The child will be out of that size before the items arrive.
The quality is questionable. The baby clothing material is all good... but I stayed with cotton, organic cotton, and natural fiber knits. Don't dress your child in synthetics... and check before you buy. One of the maternity items i ordered is a joke $65 for a see-through-quality acetate (the description said natural fiber blend, I suppose the stitching is cotton?) Its unacceptable. What really gets me is those loose threads. Who SELLS such crap? Why this fails?... the website really is nothing but a portal and does not even have internal Quality Assurance of the merchandise they market.
Will not shop here again. Quality and time are big factors to me. No sale is worth a sacrifice in either!
1) It doesn't make sense to complain about shipping time. It's stated very clearly. If you need things FAST, get Amazon Prime - you'll get your order in 2 days. I rarely order from Zulily because of shipping times.
2) Re quality. I ordered a blouse one time and it went directly in my give-away box. A piece of junk. After that, I only buy brands I know. A Coleman lantern. Carter's kids socks. I will never again buy clothes or shoes unless I've seen and tried on the exact item in a store.
3) Zulily make it clear there are no returns, so it's hard to complain about that either. That problem is taken care of as long as you order only what you're sure about - brands you know, sizes you're sure of, etc.
4) Based on shipping time and no return policy, I rarely even look at Zulily. I stopped the daily emails and just go to the website when I'm looking for an interesting gift and have plenty of time. Obviously, I'm not a big fan of Zulily, but contrary to many reviews here, I've had extremely positive experiences with their Customer Service department. I used to shop Zulily more than I do now. On 3 occasions what I got was not what I ordered. In one case I ordered a cute wood toy. There were 2 versions - one for a boy, one for a girl. I received the wrong one - and when I contacted them they said they were sorry. They would send me the correct toy. I asked about returning the original (assumed they would pay postage), but they said I could just keep it.
Another time I ordered booties (NOT a brand I knew). They were adorable and quality was fine, but they were for a 3-mo old baby and they were huge! I measured them and took a picture with the ruler in the photo. They didn't have a replacement, so they refunded my money - and again told me to keep the booties.
So I have mixed feelings. They are what they are. Their sales model is not one I like, so I stopped getting their emails and just check them out occasionally. It's fun to browse Zulily, but I don't take them very seriously.
P.S. I have Amazon Prime. Not only do I love the 2-day shipping, but Amazon generally has great prices, often the same as Zulily's "sale" price.
1). Know and understand that shipping takes FOREVER! If you need something fairly quickly for a gift, don't get it here. I'm shopping now (in July, August and September) for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'll stop ordering from Zulily for Christmas probably in October.
2). Know and understand how shipping works. You pay once, then get free shipping for the day (or all weekend if you order on a Friday). Best thing to do is buy one small item to get the lowest price on shipping, then go back and order the rest of your items to get the free shipping. There are extra charges for bigger/heavier items, and the shipping is pretty steep - just be aware of that. I don't buy any of those items, as I can likely get them elsewhere for less or even free shipping.
3). You can get some fabulous deals and unique items you won't find anywhere else. BUY FROM REPUTABLE BRANDS. Or if you don't know the brand, look at all of the items Zulily have for sale. If they look quality, they probably are. I don't buy as many of the clothes... more of the home products. I have never been dissatisfied with the quality of any of my items. And I've literally bought upwards of 100 things. Even the few clothing pieces I've ordered have been spot on size-wise and quality-wise. But I've bought reputable brands (Vigoss jeans, Calvin Klein and Izod for my son, etc.). If the brand is one that I've never heard of, I google it to see what it's all about. I've never gone wrong there.
4). I've never had an issue with customer service. Two of my items were cancelled for whatever reason, so they immediately refunded my money and gave me a $10 credit for each item. One of my items was supposed to be a set but only came with one. They immediately refunded my money and again gave me a $10 credit. I've been very impressed with every interaction I've had.
5). I am a huge online shopper. I shop around. I know what's a deal and what's not. Be an informed consumer. If I think a price is a little higher than it should be, I research it. Occasionally I can find the same item at a cheaper price on Amazon or elsewhere. If that's the case, I don't buy it from Zulily. Other times it's a steal. Or a product you can't find anywhere else. Those are the ones I snatch up.
6). Know that the good stuff is going to go fast and you may lose it. You can always add the missed item to your waitlist and hope that it comes back. Sometimes they do, and sometimes they don't. That's what makes it fun to shop - trying to purchase the last one available!
7). If you go in fully informed and do your research, just like anything else you buy, you'll love this site. I am a huge fan and will remain so for a long time!
Now, that being said, you can score some really great deals on Zulily from time-to-time. No rhyme or reason as to what or why or when though. Patience seems to be the key. The savings are usually (but not always), significant enough to tempt me to buy.
Now the cons... For the average product listed on Zulily, there is an average of 1 picture to show the item. That's crazy. Even the furniture sometimes has 1 picture only. And they're often low-quality pictures. I'm not sure how pictures are being selected and uploaded onto their site (does Zulily do it, or does the original seller upload items? I'm not sure), but it can be a problem. I'll give you examples. Just this week, I saw in my email an ad for women's clothing staples, which I don't normally look at, but the picture was of a young woman wearing a really cute, over-sized sweater. When I looked at the actual listing on Zulily for that sweater and clicked through the pictures, all of them were somewhat low-res, and some of the pictures were repeated, except they showed various edited versions of the same picture. Meaning, whoever edited and photoshopped the originals saved multiple versions of different photoshop versions of the same pic, and somehow, those various versions all got uploaded together. So when clicking through the pictures of the model in the sweater, you could see all the little things they'd photoshopped. One picture was of her original neck, while the next picture was of a photoshopped version of the same model with a much thinner neck. Why? Idk, her original neck looked fine, but okay Photoshop wizards. Continuing on, one pic had the collar of the same sweater looking a bit fuzzy, wherein the next picture the collar was photoshopped and pushed in. The hair moved around from the photoshopping, etc. It's just extremely unprofessional, and item photo issues happen with enough frequency that I feel the need to bring it up here. Zulily, this is cheapening your brand big-time.
The biggest issues for me (and this seems to be a reoccurring issue with other reviewers) are their shipping and returns. Their shipping is ALL OVER the place. I get that they are a reseller and that only some items are actually in the Zulily warehouses, whereas, other items, Zulily has to wait for the original seller to ship the item to Zulily and then Zulily ships it to the buyer. Or, the original seller bypasses Zulily and ships directly to the buyer. It's all over the place. The cost and timing is anyone's guess. You'd have better luck shaking a Magic 8 ball to divine when and how you'll get your package. I've literally waited months to receive some of my items.
The quality of the items is also all over the place. A lot of subpar crap. Sometimes it's good though, but often, it's not.
Now, the return policy. My biggest bane with Zulily. What the heck even is that policy? IT'S TERRIBLE. Revamp your return policy ASAP, because it's obvious that a lot of customers are getting fed up. Zulily charges YOU to return items. Like... what? It's not okay.
Now, with that being said, I recently received a pair of shoes I'd ordered off Zulily that were the wrong shoes. Not wrong size--I mean they were an entirely different pair of shoes nothing like what I'd ordered. But hey, at least the shoe size was correct. I emailed Zulily alerting them and asking them how I should go about sending the shoes back to them (because--ahem--I was not going to pay to return an item that was the wrong item and their mistake). I was very pleasantly surprised to get a speedy response back from an employee (Jamaica), who was very prompt and polite in her email. She let me know that they were just going to refund me for the shoes. I didn't even need to send them back. That was very surprising to me and kind of them. However, now I have these shoes I'll never wear and I'm hoping someone I know might want them. I'd hate to waste them.
Overall, if Zulily could perfect their shipping, returns, quality of item descriptions/photos, and the overall quality of items they resell, this company could really be a major hit for me and a lot of other people. I'm not saying that they're not already successful, but there's always room for improvement, and these particular issues could help improve their quality, brand, and functionality significantly.
I personally, have never bought from Zulily yet, (I will though in spite of so many negative remarks in reviews.) But... I NEED to say all this about that. Today, while researching the company, Zulily.com, I studied the site extensively, then ventured into the Zulily reviews on other sites. I found numerous complaints in forum comments and reviews about Zulily. I saw the same complaint over and over; THE SHIPPING WAIT!. So I went back to Zulilys policys and found that it is stated ahead of time quite openly that the shipping delays are something you just have to SOMETIMES live with if you want the very, VERY low prices. Most people, after viewing pretty pictures, only read sizes and buy now buttons, before proceeding with a purchase Online. Then afterwards when things turn out differently than their expectations, based on pre-conceived notions, they occasionally jump into some Online forum or review page and try to avenge themselves single handedly with sulky negative remarks. Sorry, but... as they say, "Look before you Leap." Timing is everything these days, so check the timing on EVERYTHING before you involve yourself, especially ONline.
Instant gratification has become an illness in humanity recently... to the point that some don't bother to read even minimal print on what to expect when purchasing from a new supplier Online then have expectations based on their own perceptions from past experiences. IN a nutshell, the main dissatisfaction appears to be based on the fact that many of these complainers did not look before they leaped. And THAT is mostly what I'm seeing while reading negative reviews about Zulily.
I will buy something from Zulily.com that I am not in a hurry to get, and what I need right now, I will run out right NOW, pay double and get it. This will teach me to think ahead concerning my needs. I think Zulily will continue to flourish and iron out all the many details that are required to make a giant runaway company operate smoothly. Its a great concept and the proof is in the pudding. I read today that Zulily.com went from15,000 members to 5 million within the same year. If thats true, then... Move over Mark Z, as in ZU later. Good for you, everyone at Zulily. Go for it and take your own sweet ZULILY TIME. (ironic Zulily?)
"I placed two orders with Zulily in early February, 2016. One was for five articles of clothing, and the other was for four articles of clothing, plus two identical pieces of furniture. I contacted Zulily on February 23 about returning one of the pieces of furniture. There have been excuses and promises to send the info, but nothing has been forthcoming. Every single piece of clothing has to be returned, due to ridiculous size discrepancies. As of this writing, 4/6/16, I have not received ANY of the requested info about returning any items. It's as if I'm the first customer to ever need to process a Zulily return transaction! Needless to say, I will NEVER shop this website again and will tell everyone I know to choose likewise."
UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I finally received return labels for all of the clothing mentioned above, but not before I HAD TO PROVIDE Zulily with the dates of each purchase, each order number, each item number and each item description! I remain perplexed, to say the least, as to why Zulily was unable to access this information via their data base.
Regarding the piece of furniture I want to return, it is STILL pending! I was thrilled when, approximately three weeks ago, I received a UPS return label for this item. However, my relief was short-lived when I realized the return label was for only ONE of the TWO cartons in which this item was shipped. These two cartons measure about 4' x 3' x 3' each, and each weighs over 110 lbs. Zulily have occupied a significant amount of space in my living room for more than THREE MONTHS.
It's been three+ weeks since I notified Zulily, complete with photos of each carton's original shipping labels, etc., of this latest problem (I resent the email last week), and I have yet to receive ANY correspondence from them. As I said in my original review, it's as if I'm the first person to ever request a return transaction. In the meantime, I have over $800 tied up with this asinine company.
I say all of that to say this: Stay away from Zulily. Do NOT order from them. Clothing sizing is ridiculously inaccurate. They have no concept of Customer Service. They only grant 'store credit' for returns, and that's only IF they respond to your inquiry.
The opportunities for Internet/online shopping are far too vast to waste your time and money with faulty, impotent and incompetent Zulily!

The actual rough-play quality of the clothes I have never had a problem with. The quality has always been good from what I've ordered. I love Star Ride Kids, Request jeans, and that you can get an outfit for $9.99. And the outfits I have bought (kidzone I think) that were 9.99 were the same quality as Children's Place clothes that my daughter has.
It also depends on the brands you get because companies/people ship their stuff to Zulily so quality is based on those individual companies not Zulily as a whole.
I have never had a problem with customer service. They are always nice to me when I have a question about anything. I have had the product run out on two occasions and they gave me credit back for them which is fine with me because that's where I get my bargains.
I bought my daughter's summer clothes on Zulily a couple weeks ago and one dress went over the estimated ship time, so they emailed me and told me that it was coming in the next 3-5 business days AND they credited me the amount for the dress because it took so long which to me, in this day and age, is pretty nice. They also give you a panel that says when it is being shipped TO Zulily, when it ships to you, and tracking information so you're not completely left in the dark.
Yes, it is not a ritzy store. Yes, the shipping is longer than, say, Wal-Mart. Yes, you are going to get great deals and good quality (at least I say for all the brands I have bought). Some things aren't good deals, like the boutique clothes (they have sales for high end clothing sometimes)... but that's because I make them so I know $60 for a "boutique" outfit is silly. The customer service was good as far as my experience with them.
I think as long as you don't have a deadline for the clothes or unrealistic expectations this site will be good for you. This is a great practical site for deals and I have been disappointed that good business is not practiced anymore (stores telling you to shove it if their product is no good or not crediting you anything) and this site has always gone beyond normal sites/stores to satisfy people, at least with everyone I have talked to that uses it. I have always heard they will, in fact, take returns if it is damaged or a wrong size. I'm not sure about other peoples' experiences, but these are mine. I'm not sure if my expectations or budget is just not high enough to be irritated about decent quality with $10 outfits. I mean I'm not expecting $50 quality for a $10 outfit, but I can say that the $7-$10 outfits I have bought for my daughter go through a lot of rough play and stand up amazing to it.
Their shipping cost is always $7.95, which is pretty good for small orders and amazing for very large orders.
I don't buy the 'ship by a certain date' clothes for a certain date because I will NOT buy clothes on this site for a specific event. Certain sites have certain quirks and if you want to shop savvy online you have to learn them and decide if you want to use the site or not. I don't buy anything for an event or occasion with a deadline because I don't want to set myself up that way. Setting myself up for failure is not a tendency of mine ;) The site is what it is. I've never had a problem with them.
I wasn't going to order from them again, but because I had the credit I ordered a tunic from a different maker and it looked good, so I thought OK, maybe that 1st order was a fluke. Well, my next order was the brand Simply Couture because they have some very pretty tunics. When they finally arrived, they were all damaged, the person who made them (in China) was either inexperienced or just didn't care because the seams didn't even match at the bottom, threads were bunched up, embroidery was unraveling and the lining was a disaster. Also, the xlg fit like a med. I took pictures and emailed them to Zulily, letting them know that this is the kind of junk they were sending customers. I think they must have already known because they told me not to worry about returning the items and at first they were only going to credit the cost of the items back to my credit card, but I told them I was not paying shipping on damaged goods and they finally gave in and gave a full credit. I will say that I have ordered a few more items and they weren't great in quality and ran small, but I kept them.
I recently had a moment of weakness and ordered 3 more tunics from the Simply Couture line (ordered 1xl so they would fit like a USA lg) and when they arrived, all 3 of them were damaged. Seams weren't straight, had holes in some seams and trim wasn't completely sewn on. I also ordered a very cute tunic with a flamingo on it, but they didn't even take the time to put a hem on it, was just cut fabric. I might add that I sew, so I can spot flaws right away. Once again, I sent pictures of the damaged items to Zulily and they told me not to send them back and they credited my card and offered a 10.00 credit to my account. It would be great if these 6 tunics could be fixed because they're very pretty, but the damage is so bad they would have to be completely taken apart and I still think they won't hang right because of how they were cut.
I have bought a few pairs of Fergie and Peter Dumas sandals, and though they are not real leather, they fit true to size and are not bad for the price I paid.
My advice is to not set your expectations too high. It takes a long time for shipping, they don't usually look as good as the pictures, the quality is mostly a thin polyester blend, you never know if it's going to really fit and you definitely are not going to get back what you paid if you're able to return something. My best advice is if you receive damaged goods, take good, clear pictures of the damage and email them. You may end up in a battle over shipping or other charges, but stand your ground with them because they do not want to give back any more of a refund than they have to! I have also bought some decorative home items that were very cute, but again, it depends on where they are made and the craftsmanship. I would love to see them post reviews for an item, which would be great for determining if an item runs small or large and would be a huge help in deciding whether to buy or not.
It's not always great - of course, dealing with a company, you may never be able to feel 100% satisfied, but they did professionally respond to my complaint - I ordered a beautiful ivory maxi-dress, and it came to me some cream colored short number. I emailed customer service, attached pictures of what was mailed and pictures of what was advertised, and they did issue me a return authorization for this despite the no return policy because it was their fault. Also, if for whatever reason, the item you were lusting over was over-sold, they will let you know if they cannot ship it to you, and then credit you $10 for their mistake along with the entire refund to your purchase. I find this to be a very fair and ok way for the company to apologize.
So in general, I've had great experiences. For those who didn't - no problem, more stock for me to choose from! I don't like telling people much about Zulily because if I don't get the item on time - say I'm working and can't online shop, my size of a really cool item may go out of stock by the time I'm looking at it because of its popularity. I felt compelled to write this review however, because frankly, I'm shocked by the number of negative reviews.
But as with any other site, remember to always also look (especially with electronic items) at other websites to make sure it is not cheaper elsewhere.
Happy shopping!
These sites explain how Zulily work--namely that their merchandise comes from other places, for a limited time, and is shipped when they get enough orders for an item. That's why they can sell such great stuff at such great prices. I'm guessing that people who complain about the slow delivery times aren't aware of this. Returns can be difficult for this same reason.
I've also read that descriptions for items aren't always accurate. I haven't run into this problem but I have found that some descriptions are incomplete. I always do extensive checks online for items I'm interested in on any website, so I haven't found this to be an issue when I'm shopping on Zulily. And I get incredibly quick and helpful replies from the people at Zulily whenever I ask a question about anything.
My latest encounter with Zulily is what has prompted me to write this review.
I recently purchased a Discovery Kids LED Marine Lamp from Zulily. I was so excited to find it and the price was spectacular. But the darn thing was broken. It lights up but the fish don't "swim". I contacted Zulily, not expecting much. Communicating with them on Facebook Messenger was a breeze, but admittedly, as I said, I really wasn't expecting much from them. I thought I would get, at best, a polite, "So sorry to hear that but we can't help you."
They asked for a picture of the "fish tank". It took me a while to figure out how to do it, but I managed to send them a short video of the fish that couldn't swim.
To my surprise, they wrote back within 2 hours telling me that they would refund my purchase price, or send another "fish tank", and they were adding a $10 credit for my inconvenience.
I wrote back to tell them that I would happily take the replacement and that I didn't need the $10 credit as I was more than happy with the way they handled my problem.
I'm delighted to report that the replacement "fish tank" is on its way to my house and they're giving me the $10 credit anyway.
I think the true test of a good company is how they handle things when a problem comes up. As far as I'm concerned, Zulily gets as many stars as I can give them. Their prices are always wonderful. The products I've ordered are all top quality. This was the first time I've ever had a problem with a product that I've purchased from them. The Law of Averages pretty much guaranteed that I would eventually have a problem with SOMETHING. But the people at Zulily were wonderful! Oh. BTW. I tried to include a photo of the "fish tank" but I'm too technologically challenged to figure out how to get the photo from my phone to my computer.
The day after purchase I noticed the rug's price had dropped $20 on the site, despite me having purchased during the last 20 minutes of the rug's event the day before. I immediately called and spoke with someone (this was the day after Christmas) and the representative was extremely pleasant and helpful. I explained to her that I wanted to either cancel and repurchase at the new price, or preferably just receive a price adjustment for the difference. I'd only purchased the day before because I was under the impression the rug would be taken off the site that day and I'd lose out on it. She explained that because this was a direct manufacturer ship she couldn't cancel, but she placed me on a brief hold and spoke with her supervisor about approving a price adjustment. Within a minute or two she came back on the line and told me if I would call back after I received the shipping email they'd be able to refund me the difference. I got the email about a week later and to my surprise not only had the rug shipped earlier than the site stated it would, it was also set to be delivered the day I received the notification! I immediately called and spoke to a new rep who viewed my account notes and quickly refunded my original form of payment in the amount of the difference.
My rug is absolutely beautiful and I can't believe how little I paid for such a quality product. I also am extremely impressed with my customer service experience and will definitely shop with them again in the future. Well done, Zulily!
2. More refinements by category i. E. price, size, color, etc. I like to be able to see prices from low to high, etc. It seems like you had that at one time.
3. Imported good's size charts are not reliable for USA customers. Generally, always too small.
4. Believe customer when products are damaged, ill fitting, sized incorrectly and allow for free prepaid returns and refunds in manner paid, NOT STORE CREDIT.
5. Devise some way to ship fast. We wait 10 or more days for items to be shipped to you only for you to ship to us. It's ridiculous. You allow BOXED to drop ship.
6. Package items better with bubble wrap or whatever is necessary for item to arrive in good condition. I ordered some bras for my granddaughter and the underwire was warped because it was sent in a thin plastic bag.
7. There's more to life than TUNICS. Good grief.
8. If you have to change strategy from new products daily, then do so. Since brick and mortar stores are closing, you need to up your game. Same old brands are redundant.
9. I've shopped your site since the beginning when you were selling children's items and maternity items. You've evolved which is good but just not good enough to be sustainable imo. I on your site daily and do not purchase nearly what I used to buy due to reasons I have listed above. Your company used to be unique and had it's own little niche. Now, it seems as though you are trying to run up against the big boys (although you've been bought out years ago). You can't: Not on price, availability, delivery.
10. You need some young bright smart people who are hipped to the ecommerce to shake things up by doing their homework on what is your target market and sell to them. But slow shipping, inferior products, refusal for consumers to get a refund just store credit, having to pay to return the inferior products in some cases, lack of better vendors does not sit well with me and I am a somewhat loyal customer, will not keep you in business and remain profitable.
11. Since I'm a plus size woman, check out the brands on COEDITION'S site. I'm sick of your current brands except for a few.
12. Wish you would find better uniform brands than French Toast and? Polo. This year I shopped at Jcpenney online. If you can get with a good brand with good prices with fast shipping and free returns, parents/grandparents may shop on the site. School supplies are another matter. Your prices are ridiculously high.
I know that I've been critical. Hope you will take what you need and discard the rest.
