Dermstore

Received 2 faulty products and a lot of hassle trying to get a refund. Dermstore offer "free" returns if you accept a store credit instead of a refund. Not wanting to pay to ship back a bad product, I opted for the store credit for Jane Iredale foundation that was separated and would not blend. I used the credit to purchase Leonor Greyl shampoo that was not the same color, texture, or scent as the exact same bottle purchased from Leonor Greyl directly. I received a fraction of a refund, but was re-issued another gift card for the same amount as the original one for the foundation. I don't want to keep getting store credits for faulty products that I can either lose money on shipping them back, or keep getting a store credit for more garbage product. - Buy directly from the manufacturers and save yourself some stress.

Slow shipping. Placed the order and it didn't arrive until 3 weeks later. Will not order from here again.

Terrible customer service, Dermstore don't answer email, their live chat doesn't work, it's a 30 minute wait for a phone call, and if you get thru, they can't answer a question, or it's too late to cancel, but you can send it back, for a FEE, good scam they have going, don't order from them

I was so happy to find my pricey Rene Furterer hair care product available for a 15% discount if I signed up for auto reorder. When I used the last of the product I had purchased at a salon I started using my order from Dermstore. My hair didn't look nearly as good. I tried it once more and my hair looked horrible and felt coated with plastic. This stuff is not cheap and even with 15% off I paid $40 for something that was not worth $5. Back to paying full price at the salon. Don't waste your money here. Dermstore are no better than amazon.

I regularly buy a super expensive face cream from Dermstore, and about half of the jars I've received have been used already. If I didn't know what the packaging was supposed to look like, I'd never notice. They're always helpful when I alert them, and the replacement is out ASAP. Their prices and selection are good, but it's only worth dealing with the (gross) hassle if you're actually saving a significant amount of money.

After buying a hair blower for $199. It was reduced the next day to $169.00 and I cannot reach customer service to resolve this issue Sent 4 emails and repeated calls to 800 # which is never answered

I ordered $200 of merchandise on 8/26/19, it is now 9/19/19 and I have yet to receive. Dermstore send out coupons for 15-20% off - I have several email addresses - for work, etc. No explanation - no followup - no customer service. They said they flagged' my acct. Ridiculous! They should have contacted me and said they couldn't honor the discount - but NO! They charged my credit card and had no intentions on sending the merchandise. I will NEVER order from them again! I will tell others not to ever order from them.

Bought a harry josh hair dryer very expensive close to $300. Waited forever to get it as it comes from the UK. This was never disclosed. Had bought harry josh diffusers from them before and also the hair dryer. Dermstore must have changed the product size. Surprise dryer didn't fit diffuser. Wanted me to send dryer back pay for insurance etc and get refund. Didn't want to correct and send hairdryer that fit diffuser first so I wudnt b without a hairdryer for another month.it was their mistake and when you talk to someone they read from a script. Don't understand the problem. Buy a dyson next time. Attachments don't fit dryer. Really! And all they say is I am so sorry. I needed a hair dryer now and the best they could do was tell me a supervisor could call me n 48 to 72 hourts the company must have changed hands. Stay away!
FYI I am not upset with fairvdryer I am upset with the DERMSTORE who sold it to me. They are worthless

I have called multiple times and emailed requesting for a manager to call me to discuss an issue I had regarding an auto-ship order. Cannot get a return call. Would NOT recommend using this company and definitely not setting up an auto-ship order.

Be aware of this company when it offers a free item if Dermstore run out, they just want you to make the purchase and could care less if they honor their advertisement of a free item with purchase. I was not aware of this and supervisor never called me back.

Looks like Dermstore was recently acquired and the new company has since overhauled the site and the backend logistics for shipping and returns. Do yourself a favor and avoid ordering anything from them in the near future. I have purchased $1000s from Dermstore over the last year and Dermstore always had reliable products and easy shipping and returns. Since this new acquisition in which they failed to give any heads up to the customers until it was too late and orders and subscriptions were way backed up and returns couldn't be initiated, I have avoided buying anything from them. I made a return almost a month ago (which took almost a month to get someone from customer service to send me the shipping label) and I'm still waiting for my refund to come through. I'm going to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

My order shows delivered, via DHL. I don't have my product. Contacted DHL and Dermstore won't help. Contacted Dermstore customer service. Waited on the phone for 18 minutes. Got someone that never gave their name, couldn't care less that I didn't receive my product and was very unhelpful. Best they can do is research where my item went. 3-4 days. IF it can't be located then they will provide me a new order. Luckily... I get to wait for AT LEAST another 10 days before receiving what I ordered and paid for days ago. Not likely that I'll ever purchase from here again.

Do not trust this store. Dermstore sent me fake face wash. Not even close to the color and consistency of the bottle I bought from my dermatologist office. The smell was also unbearable.

I've contacted Dermstore three times now about an order ($84.88) I never received. Every time I've contacted them I get an automated response to go to customer service on their website because I can get the answer to my problem there. That's what I'm doing, but it only generates the automated response again. No phone number I can find. I will never use them or recommend them in the future.

I ordered a $99 product. Tracking shows it delivered, but it wasn't. So, i've been going in circles with what appears to be automated customer service--when i reply i receive the same intro message. Dermstore can't even answer how it was shipped. All i know it that it was USPS, but they won't give their address or if it was first class or priority. This would help my post office in the search. This was the first time using Dermstore.com. Not a good experience. Also, you have to use to use their site to message, which adds annoying steps just to communicate.

I ordered several products. Received the wrong products. Tried contacting customer service on hold for over an hour. No supervisors available. Terrible customer service no resolution. I will dispute with my credit card company

Be aware of very inconsistent pricing. Dermstore are a the same entity for several brands together, but sell the same product in different prices. I purchased Christophe Robin's shade variation treatment with Black Friday 30% off on 11/21/21 at Dermstore website. However, I got an email from Christophe Robin for 40% discount for the same product on following day, 11/22/21. I contacted Dermstore customer service on 11/22/21 to cancel my order as I could get $9 cheaper through Christophe Robin site. Please note both belong to the same entity called "The Hut.com Ltd." They declined to cancel my order and shipped it on 11/23/21 instead. Dermstore state "free return" and "customer satisfaction" in bold and you would not notice hidden charges such as $15 fee and non refundable shipping. As I ordered 2 of the 40% off products with only 30% off, I just lost $20 purchasing from them. Never buy from them again.

I used to order from Dermstore cause Dermstore have really good prices for Dermalogica - so shop there for my annual supply... This year, products came damaged: washer leaked all over the package, everything ruined in shipping. I returned all items and reorder - other 2 weeks of waiting, and parcel came the same way! Washer - leaked, cream - without seal, facial polish - in open box, and complimentary gift - wrong item: Boscia samples instead of Dermalogica I ordered. Expensive items just thrown to big box without plastic wrap and seals... Eg cheap like $4-5 cosmetic product from amazon - coming packaged properly, wrapped in plastic, right box size, etc. Don't know what happened to Dermstore, but never again

I ordered Oleplex Hair set (that's the ONLY thing I ordered so should be super easy to pack the shipment - well actually Dermstore gave me a small face cream sample - so technically two things). When I got the order and opened it, I'm suprised by the Barriatic Weight-Loss Supplements wth! - no word.

I had a wonderful experience shopping online with DermStore and was really impressed by the selection of high quality products all in one place. There is definitely something for everyone! Moreover, I found the prices of DermStore's products to be competitive and was 100% satisfied with the free shipping and speed of delivery; I didn't expect to be using my product within two days of when I placed my order. As an added bonus, I've been enjoying the high quality samples that I received free with my purchase. I'll definitely be returning to shop again and will be telling all of my friends to shop with DermStore for any of their future beauty purchases.

Dermstore has been nothing but great to me. My orders always arrive on time, (within 3 days) and there's always free shipping.
I was actually sent somebody else's package, and called Derm to inform them but Dermstore told me to keep it.
In addition, one of packages got lost (thanks to the postal service) and I called Dermstore to inform them, and they sent me a new one FREE of charge.

The Body Shaper lotions by BioElixia are on sale at the derm store. I love, love, love this product line as it really works! My cellulite has been reduced and is barely noticeable after 2 months of using the kit. Time to stock up!

I've been using some skin care product from Dermstore. I found it after looking for it for 2 months. Although, I read some unimpressive reviews, I couldn't hesitate to press my order because I wanted the product badly.
I was impressed my order come through without any hassle

Was very disappointed. Was promised free shipping - ended up being billed $12.95. Dermstore never responded to my complaint about this. The products sent were fine, but I was pretty mad that they advertise free shipping, then charged me, THEN ignored my complaint. Will never shop there again.

I ordered from Dermstore and it took an entire week before my order was even shipped. Don't order from Dermstore if you want to get your products in a timely manner.

I ordred a product from DermStore over a month ago, paid for shipping, and never received anything. The very rude Dermstore agent over the phone just told me that Dermstore are trying a new shipping system and that I should go to the Post office in my area and inquire about my order. They did manage to charge my credit card alright, they just never delivered anything to me. Now I have to contact my bank and request a credit refund to my account and they will have to dispute it with the company. What a pain... and I was treated so rudely. I would strongly suggest trying one of the many other companies out there. These guys are uprofessional, rude, thieves.

I ordered a product with free shipping, I received the product along with a bonus package i didn`t order at cost $12.95. No response from the company..

Dermstore do not update their site if a product is out of stock, and once you add it to your cart and pay for it, and only later when get an email days later letting you know that it's OOS. Well, I went on their site and the same item is available for purchase with no info that it's actually not available until 2 weeks. Scam. Why don't they update their website with accurate stock info?

Also it took over 2 weeks for me to get any info on when the product will be available, so in grand total it will take over a month to get my order!

Even though it offers 2 day shipping, Dermstore take forever to process orders, so you end up waiting to get your items for like 2 weeks to receive. (I live in NYC)
Also they take FOREVER to process returns, mine hadn't processed after 3 weeks of
Waiting and I had to call them to bug them.

Dermstore doesn't generally have the best prices for products on the internet, but Dermstore have a wide variety so when I need more than one thing I go ahead and order. It is rare and now it won't be ever again. After I placed all of the items in my cart I noticed not 1, not 2, but THREE magazine subscriptions sitting there as well. Yes, they were "included," but NO I do not care for these even if they are free. I removed them or so I thought and then they were added back into my final order. So when I emailed to have them removed, Dermstore Customer Service replied that they couldn't remove it because it was already processed and I would have to call a separate number to cancel. Just another step in their ploy to hope I forget to make a call, which is something THEY should offer to do for me. Let alone the fact that they should stop this annoying inconvenience to their customers in the first place. I won't return to this website.
