Horrible Customer Service-Won't answer phones or emails for returns!
I am so angry! I ordered extensions and the hair was the wrong color. The instructions on the website tells buyers how to get a return label. I followed all instructions and I did not get a reply from phone calls or emails that I sent. I have called and emailed several times. I will never order from this company again. I will tell all of my clients and friends to NEVER order from this site. The owner is Gary Roman. He has a Twitter account. Maybe I would get attention by contacting him!

Awesome variety, great sales and prices, free shipping-- I am glad that I found your website and I have recommended it to others! Paying through Amazon is also helpful and convenient. Some common items were hard to find in your search with so many things, but that did not stop me! I searched for Bobby pins and House of Beauty did not come up because they were under Bob pins or some strange number.

No response to emails for return + refund
I'm a customer who I ordered a red pro 2in1 hair and facial steamer as a Christmas present for my mother, unfortunately it is faulty and does not work, I emailed the company for a return and refund of my money however I have received no reply for over a week, I'm concerned because I spent over 100 for my mums present and I don't want it to have gone to waste. I even searched for the company's Instagram page and messaged them on there privately and publicly but still no reply.

Very Bad Customer Service They Don't Respond
House of Beauty don't respond to emails. ( I did not even try calling as I had already read that they don't respond to phone calls)
I ordered on Apr 23. It took a month to get my order and one of the items was not what I ordered. I sent a refund request on May 23 and another email query after that and still have not heard from them. Seriously bad customer service. I waited awhile to write this review to give them the benefit of responding but alas,,, just as all the other bad reviews warn. Buyer Beware.

This is a SCAM!
I placed my order 5 weeks ago. House of Beauty charged my card and sent me an order confirmation but no shipping details. The delivery was supposed to be from 5-7 days. I have never received my order. I have emailed them them 5 times- no response. I will call my credit card to try to cancel the transaction! This is fraud!

Full order not recieved. Ignored by customer service.
I ordered hair and mousse from this company. Hair delivered late no mousse. My first email was acknowledged. All others ignored. My friend had the same issue. She eventually got her refund after many many emails. I do not recommend this company.

Never shipped my products- Order #1914785
I placed my orders on october 5th, the label was created and the tracking website said that my items would be delivered on october 10th.
On october 10, I noticed that the USPS was still awaiting for the package. So nothing has been shipped yet. I sent a request on October 11, no response. I sent an email requesting an update on October 14, still no response. I am very disappointed, if I do not get my products or if I do not get a response or a refund by Monday, October 18, I will file a complaint with the BBB.

Edit: my order has been cancelled and should receive a refund soon.

Good Luck if You're Due a Refund or Credit Due to You
I did a return and was told that I had 45.00 in credit without an expiration date. Kept trying to use it and even trying to get a replacement on the phone to assist me but had no success. I reached their voice-mail and heard nothing back. I ended up changing my card number with my bank because House of Beauty didn't feel legit. If they are legit they have the worst customer service ever.

Customer Service
This company is a complete joke. House of Beauty charged my credit card and sent me a tracking number. 3 weeks went by and tracking says it's still waiting for pick up. I called and left 3 messages as well as 2 emails and no one ever contacted me. All of the sudden almost a month after my card was charged I got a second tracking number. This place is a joke finally got through to customer service and got an incredibly rude man who just hung up on me. Have filed dispute with credit card company. Do not recommend using them! If there was a zero rating that is exactly what they would have been rated.

Money paid but no customer service and no product
Wish I had found these reviews before putting in my order. I placed my order June 1, received an email saying that my $64 payment had been issued but can't get a response to my numerous emails to customer service inquiring about status. It's been over 14 business days. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Can someone please respond to this message to let me know what's happening with my order? Don't send me the same generic response that all of the complainers have been receiving. I would like to know status. Order number - 1410905.

Bad customer service... not received my order yet
I have ordered my products close to thanksgiving (Nov. 30th) and we are done with Christmas and I still haven't received it. I have sent several emails and called multiple times but no response. The have already charged me for the order but no sign of knowing when I will receive it. The tracking number House of Beauty have provided doesn't update and customer service just says "sorry for the inconvenience". It is Jan 6th, 2021 and I have no clue when I will get my order. They are blaming it on USPS, I have ordered so many things online this holiday season but haven't had a delay of 40 days and not sure how many more days it will take to finally receive it. Very bad customer service.

The site says free shipping over $55 but yet they have...
The site says free shipping over $55 but yet House of Beauty have to charge 16.99 for orders over $72. I'm very disappointed.

Horrible customer service and wait time for items is too long. You can never get a hold of someone on the phone places my order and 5/10/20 and still have not received my order. SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK

Customer Service Does Not Reply
Placed an order on May, received wrong product, sent 2 emails to customer service to make arrangements to send it back and get the correct item. One email sent early June and another sent late June. It is now late July and still no response. I tried to call them several times today. No one answers and all voicemail boxes are full.

You will never get your order... buyer beware
I ordered a wig and specified the color twice. I received the wrong color and I notified them immediately via email. I didn't hear back from them, so several days later I sent another email, and I called and left a voice mail. A few days later I received an email stating that House of Beauty were going to refund my money. To date I have not received a refund. The order was placed 1/11/2021, and todays date is 3/22/21. I am out $54.

WORST COMPANY TO ORDER FROM
This is the worst service ever and House of Beauty will never get my coins ever again or referrals 2weeks+ wait time with updates that items were on the way then BOOM! Order canceled cause you don't have it in stock so why did you have it available on your site or kept updating me that my order was on the way? I knew sun was up when they asked for a picture of my card 4 days into my order and delivery expected Omg shld have known they full of

Horrible customer service
I ordered a few products during COVID. When I realized that House of Beauty shipped me the wrong products, I reached out to them immediately. I have been trying to get in touch with someone via email and phone call for over a year. I have yet to receive a call. Consumers, make sure that you are sent the correct items because you will be stuck with the wrong products. I will never do business with this com again!

Stay away from this site!
I placed an order for two items on 7/23/20. Order Status: Shipped. Shipping method: Standard (3-7 days). Six weeks later I still haven't received the items that I PAID for. House of Beauty processed my payment immediately. I cant get a response from them. They are thieves. Anywhere I can post about this company... I WILL! Dont be fooled. Keep your money. I wish I could rate it a Zero. It's not even worthy of a 1.

There is a risk of never receiving your items and losing your money with no recourse.
I placed two orders with the House of Beauty. The 1st one was delivered to my overseas address quickly with no issues.
The 2nd order, however, while it did arrive quickly as well, only half of my order was shipped. I have written 5 emails to date to their customer services department but no response. I have tried calling the phone number on the shipping invoice but no answer. My advice is to avoid using House of Beauty because House of Beauty are not reliable or consistent. There is a risk of never receiving your items and losing your money with no recourse.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
I made an order on April 18th I also made an order with another beauty supply store the same day. Houseofbeautyworld did not have anything posted about super extended processing times. Matter a fact I have gotten several emails with a variation of "processing times" As follows

I've ordered not one but two packages and already received them from another beauty store. HOWEVER HOUSE OF BEAUTY WORLD. Doesn't answer the phone at all even during business hours. I've tried two different numbers for for them. *******135 and *******957. Same recording on both. No machine. And I have emailed numerous times for them to just cancel my order. Even on the site when you go to contact us link processing time being said is 2-5 days I've heard nothing from them at all I want a refund House of Beauty can keep their products since it hasn't even been processed yet I can't get them to help me. I DO NOT RECOMEMT THIS SHOP UNPROFESSIONAL NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Took my money but never shipped the product
There should be an option for zero stars. I ordered product online from this company over 5 weeks ago. House of Beauty have never shipped the order. On the day I ordered it they sent an email that announced "your product has been shipped". That was a lie. A tracking number shows that they are purporting to use a Swiss based shipping company called Asendia. Assuming that is true (who knows) the tracking number says only "shipping information has been received". 5 weeks later, that is still the status. My emails to the company have been ignored. They responded on this site to a prior negative review with what I expect is yet another misrepresentation, and when I replied to that ignored the reply. Check the BBB site and you will find hundreds (not an exaggeration) of similar complaints against this company. In my opinion it would be best to avoid these folks. If you have a problem with your order they will ignore you, which is quite different from how they say that customer service means everything to them. I doubt they ever had the goods I ordered from them.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!
Spent $60NZD on my first order with House of Beauty World, I was super excited to receive my order because we don't have this brand in New Zealand. House of Beauty promises it'll take 2-4 business days for it to be dispatched. 6 business days passed and I've heard nothing so I sent them an email and House of Beauty replied back with a generic response saying something along the lines of "Dear customer, we are working hard to get it dispatched asap etc". It's now up to business day 13, I've heard nothing and I've basically come to the conclusion that I'll never receive my order. I've sent multiple emails asking to cancel my order, but no response. Wtf? This company is practically stealing from people and it's disgusting how they treat their customers. I wish I came on here and read reviews before buying from this $#*!ty company.

BUYER BEWARE!
On the site it states that your order should take 5-8 days for delivery including processing time. When I emailed to get the status of my order I didn't receive a response. Then I called 9 days after I ordered and the rude representative told me that House of Beauty shipped my order this morning and that she doesn't have a tracking number but I will receive one before tonight. I reminded her that the website states that I should have received my order no later than today then she told me to refuse the shipment when it arrived to get my money back if I was unhappy with the service. Within minutes she called me back to say that she contacted UPS and told them not to ship the order and that I would receive a refund in a few days. That sounded odd because I called her in the afternoon, if she truly shipped it in the morning she would not have been able to tell them to hold it at UPS, instead it would have been on its way getting rushed for two day delivery across the country. I didn't believe anything she said at this point especially after reading the reviews on this site. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges just in case she doesn't honor my refund...

Do not order from here. Poor customer service
I placed an order on April 8 for a 2 pair of hair clippers, guards and, clipper disinfectant. Once ordered. I received an email stating 2-4 days for processing. After 3-4 days I received another email stating that processing time may be extended to 8-14 days. At the 8 day mark i emailed them checking on my order and got a cookie cutter response About a day or so later i received another stating that their customer service area was closed. After 15 days I received my tracking number. It took 6 days to ship even though I paid for 3-5 day shipping. 21 days after I placed my order I received my order and saw that I was given the wrong pair of clippers, the wrong guards, and was missing a can of disinfectant. I have constantly emailed and called to no avail. I have no problem waiting for my order especially during Covid-19, just assure that the order is filled correctly. Overall horrible customer service. Company feels like a scam.

They are Fraudulent
I placed an order on May 6th for 13 products for the hair the money cleared my account on May the 8th. I received a generic email on May 9th stating to please allow 2-4 days processing and which at that time I would receive a tracking number for my order. Around May the 12th the order was still showing in processing so I called the customer service number in the website which never works, you get a busy signal or a voicemail that says House of Beauty are not open@ 10:00 in the morning but according to your website you are open during that time and if you're not there why are you processing orders?. I emailed them got another generic email on May the 13th that said due to Covid 19 processing extended to 10-14 days but orders would be shipped during that time. I emailed again that same day got an email that said our support team has received your request. After numerous emails and phone calls I got my bank involved today is 05/21/2020 2 weeks now and the order on the website still says in processing. My bank is now investigating and the monies for this order will be refunded to the account and they will deal with the merchant. Please read the reviews! Had I done that I would not be faced with this situation. I thought because they had all the products I needed they were reputable. I placed 6 other orders in the States of New York, California, Arkansa and Louisiana, they have all arrived except for this one. I placed orders last week, they have all arrived this weekend with the lase on on this Saturday. They have a website set up on goggle and all you see is good reviews but very very very generic which leads me to believe either they are people from the company or paid people. At any rate don't waste your time they are a fraud.

Do Not Buy Anything From Houseofbeautyworld.com - RIPOFF
HouseofBeautyWorld.com is not an honest company. I placed an order on March 28th. It is now April 9th, and I have yet to receive any indication of tracking/shipping information. On the day I placed my order, I received an email indicating I was a VIP customer and that orders are processed the same day if received before 5 pm, or the next business day if received after 5 pm. This company did not honor their own email. Multiple calls placed to the company resulted in me receiving an announcement that stated that their voicemail is full every time. I received an email on April 7th indicating House of Beauty need 2-4 more days to send me a tracking number. That clearly indicates they lost my order, or never had the merchandise they advertised. So, basically 13 business days after I placed my order, I might get a tracking number? This is not acceptable. Adequate time has been given for a simple tracking number, however they have not provided this information. They were on time when they deducted the sale amount from my account. I would not recommend this company to anyone, despite their lure of lower prices. It is not worth the aggravation. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra few dollars and go with a reputable company that stands by their word, and has the inventory their customers purchased. I'm not sure what kind of game Houseofbeautyworld.com is playing, if they are going out of business or just plain shady business owners. They will rip you off.

This e-commerce clearly doesn't care about their customers! Worst customer service experience ever
I have placed an order last week by accident. Right after placing the order, I have sent a couple of emails to cancel it. After days, I got two responses saying once the order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled anymore, plus cancellation will be charged with 15%. By that time the order wasn't being processed, so instead of just giving me the generic spiel about how things work, the customer service should've taken 2 minutes to look into the status of my order to help me. I told them that and didn't receive a response. One day later I have received an automated email confirmation saying my order is being processed now.

Customer service clearly doesn't care about you. House of Beauty are very inflexible. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying from them, and I will return my order as soon as I get it, even if I have to send it overseas. I don't want them to get away with it, it is really frustrating.

Don't buy from them
I ordered some lotion and during the checkout process a box popped up with a discount code to use, so I did and it took the 25% off but after I placed the order the 25% was not included. I even tried to check on it before placing the order but could not. I contacted the company IMMEDIATELY by phone only to find out that their mailbox was full. I then sent several emails describing my problem and requested that if House of Beauty couldn't honor the 25% off that I did NOT want the item and that they should cancel my order. To my surprise I received an email telling me that the item was being prepared for shipment, with no indication whether the discount has been applied. Then I email wanting an answer to my question. SCAMMERS AND THIEVES
I ordered an item that had been discontinued and House of Beauty never bothered to tell me they didn't have it. Had no problem taking my money though. After several weeks of e-mailing customer service they finally admitted they didn't have it. Didn't offer a refund, just tried to get me to buy something else. I asked for a refund and was told they were issuing it, but a month later nothing has showed up. Never buy from this company, they are THIEVES.

UPDATE: Received a response to this complaint, still using COVID-19 as an excuse for poor customer service. They say I should "rest assured" that I will get my refund, but exactly one month ago today they said "please allow your bank 7-14 days to process the refund payment". As though they had issued it and it's the bank's fault I don't have it... If it ever shows up I will be happy to post another update but I'd say the chances are pretty slim.

UPDATE: After my bad review, the company contacted me asking for my order number. I never heard anything else until today when I looked at my bank account, and the refund was there. The refund had showed up on the very day they asked for my order number... Hmmm, interesting. I'm very happy to have this resolved and it shows that they can take care of business if they want to... it's just too bad they don't care until they're backed into a corner. Despite the eventual positive outcome with this, I won't order from them again. There's absolutely no reason to put myself through what I went through this time around.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM
There is no indication during the purchasing process that you will not get your product. You probably trust that the system is "normal": hunt and find what you want, put in cart, decide shipping charge - no free shipping, enter payment info, note delivery date (which is workable for your needs) then process the payment. Two days later you will get an email telling you your order is being processed and to allow "2 to 4 business days in processing after which you'll get a tracking number". Then you'll get, every 2 days, that your order will take 8 to 14 days. For the record, it has been 10 business days since order placed. You cannot call or email a person to explanation or help. You will get a canned response. I have attached exactly what has happened to me so far. I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WAITING but House of Beauty should have told me that at the start and I would have purchased from someplace else. That is what I think is not cool. Today most of the world is allowed to go back to work, including stylists. This should not be happening. They should be telling you AT CHECKOUT the truth on delivery.
