This company is run by unconscionable thieves and scammers that just want your money without actually providing you with ANYTHING in return.

I had to get a chargeback on my order. Report them to the FTC. This company should be avoided at all costs. House of Beauty have these 'perfect' answers that they spew out. For every negative review that gets posted and trust me there are many, a flurry of positive reviews (usually 2 or 3 liners) that immediately follow. They actually write their own positive reviews so DON'T BELIEVE anything positive about this scam.

Then this robot Isobella R will announce her pathetic face along with equally feeble reasons that they're so good at repeating over and over.

Only if the thief that actually runs this company diverts his efforts away from getting a team of people that write positive reviews to actually giving a ***k about their customers. I hope this company gets shut down.

House of Beauty took my money and disappeared...
In January 2017 I purchased a wig from House of Beauty. I had previously owned a Bobbi wig in the past That i purchased at a local beauty supply store. So when I saw that very wig on the house of Beauty site I was all in. Only I failed as a consumer to check the reviews of previous customers. Well I did receive a wig. A lemon yellow and gray wig. Which was nothing like the one I selected. So after numerous phone calls and emails I finally reached someone. Who told me that it was my fault that I didn't like the wig and that I was to return the wig and someone would call me to charge me an additional $8.95 on top of the $30+ that House of Beauty already received. If I wanted to exchange it. So I trusted the customer service woman and returned the wig. And now it's March 13th2017 and after 6 phone calls and 10 emails and after returning the wig. No one from that company will respond to my purchase issue or return the money they now in good faith received. I'm now sure I have been robbed and the money was stolen from me. Awful Customer Service. I mean No customer Service. PLEASE DONT get scammed like I did. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

HOUSE OF BEAUTY, INC STOLE MY MONEY - THEY ARE THIEVES!
I placed Order # 1772162 on April 22nd, 2021 for twenty one (21) items. My total was $225.41. House of Beauty emailed me on April 25th to inform me that my order was being processed - please allow 2-4 business days processing time after which I would receive a tracking number. I emailed them on May 4th because I never received a tracking number. They quickly shipped me one (1) item from my order on May 6th. The enclosure invoice stated the remaining twenty (20) items would be shipped separately. I have sent them numerous emails since then to no avail. I've called their listed telephone numbers *******957/*******135) and can never reach anyone in customer service. I just want the balance of my money back. They have kept the remaining twenty (20) items from my order as well as the remaining amount of my payment. It's been one month since I placed my order.

Patience is key
I ordered from this company 5/17. I got an email 5/20 saying I'd receive a tracking number in 2-4 days. I git another email 5/31 saying all unshipped orders would be sent in 7-10 business days. I tried calling the numbers and kept getting an automated message saying House of Beauty were closed and telling me to call during regular business hours. After reading reviews and getting no live person, I became worried that I had been scammed. I called my credit card company 6/2 to dispute the charge. I get another email 6/9 stating that my order had shipped along with a tracking number. My shipment arrived 6/12 with everything that I ordered and all items in good shape.

Basically, the website is not a scam. But their customer service is terrible and/or non-existent. I hope that they can provide the proof of shipment to my credit card company to get the money owed to them from my dispute. Happy with the products but shipping is very slow and u won't get assistance.

They have a lot of discontinued items that u can't find other places so I have to admit I'd use them again, but just expect not to receive anything in a timely manner.

Just like so many others on here have said, House of Beauty is a giant scam, trying to take people's hard earned money and give no product in return! Placed order on 5/27 and sent an e-mail to cancel the same day. Heard absolutely nothing back since then, other than automated e-mails using COVID as an excuse for delayed shipping. I've ordered from so many different websites and received my items within a week! Customer service number does not work, rings once or twice and goes straight to voicemail saying they're closed. I've sent three e-mails now, still have heard nothing back. Going to report this company to my bank for FRAUD so I can get my money back. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY! No idea how they're still in business. Hopefully with enough reports of fraud, House of Beauty will be shut down like they so desperately need to be. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SCAMMED AND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TAKEN! Oh, and Isobella, if you "read" this and give your coronavirus excuse response or your "we are working hard to fix your issue" response, MY ORDER NUMBER IS 1403262 AND FOR THE FOURTH TIME I WANT MY ORDER CANCELLED AND MONEY REFUNDED! Horrible business ran by horrible, greedy people!

Never again!
I ordered from this company, and I was sent the wrong color. I called and after hitting every prompt to get someone, I finally left a message. I received a call back, and I was sent refund instructions. Not only did I have to pay for the return, I also was being charged a 30% restocking fee, and was then told I could not be refunded because the Pennsylvania's Health Regulations does not allow them to give refunds on hair pieces. I asked them to send me the "health regulations policy" that House of Beauty are referring to, and of course I got did not receive a response. I then sent another email letting them know that I had not gotten a response... again, no response. I finally called and to my surprise someone picked up. I gave her my order number and told her I wanted a refund. She stated this regulations policy again, and so I asked her to email me the policy so that I can review it. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes, and then finally a man got on the call and said that my refund will be processed. I will never order from them again, and I urge anyone who is being challenged on their refund to be persistent and call them on their BS.

Skeptical at first
When I first read the reviews for House of Beauty I was mortified. I place my order June 23rd for eight items that I could not get from other vendors at the price range that I had in mind. After four days of processing time has elapsed, I tried to get in touch with the customer service department to get an estimate on shipping of my products with no success. I left tons of voicemails and emailed them at least five times. Within couple of days after that I received a phone call from a customer service rep. Name David, he explained to me that sense March there is no active customer service department due to covid and social distancing and that most of the manufacturers were closed for at least a couple of months because of the pandemic.
He said that he needed five minutes to check the warehouse to figure out why the order is not moving. After he called back in the timely manner, he said that the order was packed and shipped, he apologized for the delay and said that after 5pm I will get a tracking number in a separate email, also provided a way to get in touch with him directly for any future assistance. I understand now that there's not enough staff to get back with every individual client, although I hope House of Beauty can fix this in the future. David was great, respectful, kind and very knowledgeable. I hope they get more people like him to assist other clients so they can straiten out there poor reviews!

I placed an order back in May. I immediately received an email saying that House of Beauty received my order, then three days later I received another email saying that they received my order. A week later I received an email saying that they were behind on their processing of orders. I've emailed the company several times with no response, If you check their Facebook multiple people are furious for placing orders and not getting any response or product.

I asked multiple times for them to refund my order if they weren't going to ship it only to be told by the person on Facebook that someone would contact me shortly, I gave it another 2 weeks and finally just disputed the charge with my bank. I will never do business with this company again

The product I saw online is not what I received. I called the customer service supervisor and he told me to call the shipping that department said I needed to call customer service I called the number he gave me and he answered. I have not been able to get ahold of anyone, when I get placed on hold all of the sudden I get disconnected and can not get through again, it goes to a recording like if my phone # gets tracked. I was charged a few cents over the price but got sent a smaller size. What a rip off! I suggest do not order from this place. Oh yeah when I did get someone the genius on the other end claimed I was sent the corrert item, she said that the same product was put in a smaller jar but its the same item... clearly this company hires as good as the service House of Beauty provide... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE AND YOU WONT GET RIPPED OFF!

Horrible
I cannot give 0 stars. Now I was told that I would be refunded but House of Beauty world is playing games and doesn't want to refund me in full although House of Beauty said that they would. I was sent an email that there would be NO RESTOCKING FEE. HE TOLD ME REFUSE THE PACKAGE AND THATS WHAT I DID! I'm done. I do not even want to speak to that rude disrespectful man again. The management is horrible.
You guys be careful. Make sure that you pay with Amazon pay or go through your credit card company if you have a good company to help you fight them. Their customer service is horrid and they try to take your money even after you sent the item back and they promised you they would refund you fully. They lie. Find another company that will respect your purchase and your patronage. I should never have to go through all this.

Avoid and order somewhere else
*** Edit *** I have been contacted on the 15th of march, saying my product would be shipped at the of the week. We're the 16th of april and I still havent received my products, any money back or any follow up. So beware everyone.

Very disappointed and unimpressed with the whole process. Made an order with them and my package arrived with 3 out of 6 products missing. I have reached them to correct the order or to check if it was sent in 2 packages. I was asked to send pictures of the invoice and the box, which I did. The invoice has different marks next to the products that I received compared to the one missing. Haven't been able to reach them again after sending the pictures and no one has gotten back to me. So yeah, totally do not recommend to anyone, lost money, time and my hair been looking like hell forever waiting on my products or my money back.

Piece of advice... do not order from this company.
First and last time I order from this so call company. I call several times and no one answers. I just sent my fourth email to them. Ordered on June 29th and got shipping confirmation on July 2nd. It's been almost three weeks and order keeps getting delayed because USPS is waiting for merchandise. Turns out only the shipping label was created but the actual merchandise hasn't been received by USPS. That is why people keep going to Amazon because of companies like this. House of Beauty only respond on this website to save face and maybe get a chance to steal other people's money. Wonderful lesson learned though... check reviews before giving small companies a chance... way to go House of Beauty!... UPDATE, after this post I got my refund from House of Beauty. They said the items were out of stock. Wished they keep their customers informed instead of days/weeks passing by without any feedback.

Unscrupulous Business Beware!
I ordered two products online that totaled about $100. The website indicated the items were in stock and readily available. I paid with my debit card and the money was immediately taken from my bank account.

The next day I received an email that stated and I'm quoting verbatim "Your order has shipped and the tracking information is below. Thank you for your business!" The next paragraph provided a USPS First Class tracking number.

However, when I clicked on the tracking number, it took me to a USPS page that states, "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS of the product or the actual mailing date. This indicates only that pre-shipment info was sent to USPS, and the USPS is awaiting the actual item."

That was nothing more than a ruse. Twenty-five days later, I contacted HouseOfBeautyWorld and asked them why House of Beauty have not delivered my item to the USPS yet. I spoke with someone whom identified herself as "Mishmish" and who had a strong accent, which is relevant only because she seemed to understand everything I said clearly until I asked to speak with her supervisor. At that time, she seemed to struggle to understand my request.

Mishmish could not have been less helpful. When she finally understood that I wanted to speak with her supervisor, she replied, simply, "No." I said, "I beg your pardon, but I must insist on speaking with your supervisor." Again, she stated, "No, I don't think so." I couldn't believe this woman's nerve!

She did eventually tell me that HouseOfBeautyWorld did not have my products in house, that they were having trouble getting one of them. She then told me they'd shipped the one they had and were waiting on the second one.

I replied, "I'm sorry, but I know that is not true. I've spoken with the USPS and they have assured me that they received nothing from you regarding this order." Then she said, "Ok, so we didn't send them one. This item is hard to get. You should have known this." So, she lied and then tried to turn the tables on me! I replied, "No, I'm sorry, but I SHOULD NOT have known that. I believed your website when it stated you had the item in stock and I would receive it within seven days." She then reiterated that I should know that the item I paid for from them was difficult to get.

That was when I insisted on speaking with her supervisor and twice she denied my request. She then said, "I have to put you on hold now" and before I could stop her, she put me on hold. After holding for the better part of five minutes, I hung up and called back, hoping to get a more helpful person.

The second person was no more helpful than the first. She also claimed that I should have known the item was hard to get. I told her, also, that her website stated they were available and ready to ship. I asked her why her company took my money when it knew it didn't have the product in house and would have trouble getting it. She told me that their website is often not up to date and has inaccurate information.

"That's good to know," I said. "I am going to go online and leave reviews warning people to beware of placing orders online.

"If that makes you feel better, then you go right ahead," she stated with distinct sarcasm in her voice.

Incredulous, I replied, "It's not a matter of making me 'feel better,' it's simply the right thing to do."

"Sure; whatever," she said.

This company is unscrupulous. They said my money will be refunded with seven business days, but I don't believe them. I don't think I will ever see that money again.

I was never angry in my conversations with them. My three-year-old grandson was sitting on my lap and I was careful with my words and my tone of voice.

This company took my money knowing they didn't have the product they claimed they had, never contacted me to let me know that the product was on back order, blatantly lied to me when they said they'd shipped one of the products, were rude on the phone when I made inquiries, then blamed me for not knowing they would have trouble getting the item that their website claimed they had in stock. When I asked when they expected to get the products, I was told that was a ridiculous question because there was no way they could possibly know when to expect shipment.

A horrible, unscrupulous company with terrible customer service. Trust me beware of these people.

The recent reviews left for this business have to be staged man. Cause HOB is a joke. Before ordering anything from them... just go ahead and call their number listed on Google. Legit business are able to be contacted by telephone. Or even email... but HOB is very unprofessional and not legit at all.

I went online to their website which looked legit. Paid for a few items and was even sent a tracking number for my items. For whatever reason. Every time I'd go to track my package... the day would go up another day. So I checked it October 10, it said package would be delivered by the 15th. Then I'd check tracking on October 16th, it would say delivery would be the 16th and so on. Now it's saying the 27th or something.

After calling it rang, no answer. No call back. I emailed requesting my order to be canceled and a refund. Several days later, I get an email saying I will be refunded 11 bucks when I spent 50. Umm. Yeah they're weird. So I reported they're business and now am in a dispute. Don't be like me! Either order legit or just go to the store yourself!

Shady company!
I have only used this company once and will never order from them again. House of Beauty offer a discount for first time customers but the savings are not worth the aggravation and they left me with a really bad first impression. Their website leads you to believe that they have an excellent selection. However, they charge for items they don't have available. Businesses typically don't charge until an order ships. This company charges your credit card immediately whether your full order is complete or not. They don't respond to emails and provide no tracking information whatsoever. I waited over a month for them to send the missing items from my order and then got fed up and filed a claim with the credit card company.
After my experience with them I decided to look for reviews and found many negative reviews on other websites. Apparently, sending partial orders after charging the customer for the full order is their M. O. And then the customer has to fight with them to get a refund. Despicable!

An update to my previous review
I want to say, right after I posted this the company reached out to me almost immediately. For that, I applaud them and thank them... but this still doesn't fix their issue of no one staffing the customer service desk. If no one is working customer service, who is keeping an eye on these complaints and replying to them within hours of being posted?
House of Beauty called me to ask what I would like to do, a refund or to get my order. I chose a refund and pointed out that this was pretty crazy for an online company to have this much trouble with customer service.
If you are going to break up the shipment, communicate that. If there isn't enough stock, communicate that. If you made a mistake and only shipped one item out of a 6 item order, communicate with the customer.

They stood by their statement that they have hardly no one to work customer service and that the warehouse made a mistake.
"Hey, I totally understand. Stuff happens. But when I write you a polite email, call you, fill out your form, and still can't reach someone, that's a problem."
They advised that the refund will be delayed because of the high volume of them going on right now... Again, I said no worries on the time frame. I was just happy to have someone doing something about it.
I am still not sure if I will use them in the future. Perhaps when this pandemic stuff calms down I will give them another chance...
I will reiterate though:
In a pandemic, where people are NEEDING jobs that can be done from home, I feel like you have little to no excuse to not have several people available to answer emails/forms/calls. This is a time where there should be a surplus of customer service for your company.:(
I hope the staffing woes are fixed soon. I would like to purchase from this company in the future.

WORST ONLINE TRANSACTION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered a wig on 7/26/18 and as of today I can't even get a tracking #. When I contact them I get the same "standard" reply on a couple of occasions: We apologize for the delay but you will be receiving a tracking number soon" I asked if my wig was out of stock? And that issue was NEVER addressed. I asked to have my order cancelled and now I have to wait 7-10 days to get my money back when it was taken instantly when I placed the order. I WILL NEVER AS LONG AS I BREATHE ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! I needed my item to wear two days from now. Now I have to spend more money to get something else! I should have stayed with my other wig websites that deliver within one week but I decided to give HouseofBeautyWorld a try. Also google your product before you purchase from them as I found other websites with the same product and it was $10 cheaper. Ripoffs!

Buyer Beware
BUYERS BEWARE:

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews prior to ordering $250 of product from this company nor did I check with the BBB. House of Beauty have numerous complaints for the same thing i. E, taking your money and not shipping products for 2 months or perhaps no product at all. They kept my money for over a month. Alfter 15 emails and 3 phone calls to disconnected numbers, I requested refund. Still nothing. This company needs to be investigated for deceptive and unfair business practices. I finally was able to get Amazon to refund my money. If you haven't gotten a refund or your order, I suggest contacting The BETTER BUSINESS Bureau OR the following. I plan to do both. Good luck. You're going to need it.

I was pleasantly suprised!
After 2 weeks of trying and failing to order my skincare products from Guesso website ( kept getting message that creditcard was not configured, hence I couldn't pay with a creditcard i have used previously). I finally got tired of waiting and decided to order from this site. I ordered online on a Sunday and paid with PayPal. I called the next day to clarify when it will be processed and i was told 24 to 48hrs. On Tuesday, as i was logging on to check shipment, i stumbled on these reviews and my heart fell! I had just spent almost $100 and reading these reviews scared me silly. I called their customer service and was on hold for 30mins, i hung up and called again and someone immediately picked up. She was nice and very professional, assured me my products have been shipped, verified my correct email address and resent both the invoice and shipment details as we spoke. I was still skeptical and to prep myself, i decided to see this as a lost venture. Friday afternoon, i get back from work and found their package. Products were neatly packaged and nothing was broken or missing. House of Beauty substituted a weave color 2. I ordered with a 1B, it would have been nice to be informed but i wasn't too bothered by it. I'm just glad I got my products and have no bad tale to tell.

UPS did not deliver and I was blammed!
UPS did not deliver my package. After leaving a v/m with House of Beauty a week prior and sending an email that went unanswered I was finally able to get someone on the phone- The girl I spoke to was very rude and blamed me for it. She kept cutting me off when I was talking and she wouldn't let me explain. I even sent examples of what their "tracking system" showed- it confirmed I had no direction at all on where my package was or what to do, there wasn't a phone number or anything (I live in a very large city with multiple franchise UPS locations that do not communicate w/ each other- no one knew where my package was). House of Beauty refused to refund my purchase, so I had to file a dispute w/ my credit card. House of Beautys solution was for me to repay for shipping, then House of Beauty would send me the items again. I will never do any business w/ them again and I caution anyone that does... If your package isn't delivered it will cost you. And be weary, this same company operates several sites under different names!

AVOID!
Let me preface this review by saying that I understand that businesses are incapable of functioning as normal, due to Covid-19. I fully expect and understand that online orders will take longer than normal, and that staffing is probably cut in half, if not more so.

That being said...

I placed an online order on April 30th, and received it on June 17th. So essentially a month and a half to revive my order.
Fine. The part that I'm furious about is the fact that a portion of my order was missing, despite the fact that I was charged, fully. I have been emailing House if Beauty since that day, June 17th, to let them know about the missing items, and asked that I either be refunded or can House of Beauty please send me what is missing. I have received no response, to date. I have since emailed them two more times, to which, again, I have received zero response. Yet, I receive promotional emails from them on almost a daily basis, telling me that I need to take advantage of all of their great sales. Are you kidding me?!? House of Beauty owes me $22.90 and at this point, I'm not confident that I will ever see my money refunded or the missing products. Avoid, avoid, AVOID! If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

My experience with houseofbeautyworld.com is simply unacceptable. You have no right to be in business.

I placed an order with House of Beauty World on 12/29/14. My credit card was charged on 12/30/14. I never received my order! I sent an email on 1/16/15 regarding my order. No response! I called on 1/20/15 and was told my order shipped on 1/15/15, and I should receive it any day. Still no order! I called again on 1/29/15 and was told by Devon that my order was never shipped, nor where House of Beauty going to ship it. WHAT? She asked if I wanted to split the shipping charges of $10.00, they would send it out right away. This company is terrible! Who does business like this?! Terrible, terrible company and customer service. They had no intention of shipping out my order, no phone call, no credit to my charge card, nothing. It is my duty to warn anyone and everyone to NOT shop with your company.

Order at your own risk! I ordered a couple of times from this company. My last order/final order was 3box hair dye and a kiss nail kit... approx. 2wks later I received my order with only the dye and no kit... just a note stating the kit was out of stock and I would recieve a refund... wks pass no refund! Mine you it's only 11.95+ tax. I emailed... no response. I called all the numbers on Google... same recording... no one answered. I finally just left a message stating I wanted my refund. To my surprise House of Beauty returned my call. The unnamed man asked me my name and zip code. I told him what happened. He asked me to email a copy of the letter they sent! W T F yes maybe I should have kept it but they shouldn't have taken my money for something that was out of stock and if they did they should be able to look in their system to see that I did not receive the item. This made me mad because it suggests I am being untruthful which I get it some are. After I said I was going to call my credit card company... he said he'd give me the refund and hung up on me. I will give them a couple of days to run me my money... if not I will report it to the credit card company. It's not about the money its just the way they do business. Maybe I should have used my white voice.

Why the title? Well, excuse my French but everything that exits is pure SH! T, no cuts no chasers including the excuses. Here's how I support that theory.
But before I get into it and people get lost in translation or do not want to read through it all, here is my process and I think everyone should do it. I would feel bad if it gets shut down but with their bad customer service, really remove my feelings from it all. I am sending this to BBB AND reporting this to the FTC for fraud/scam/bad business practice. There is no way this company and companies alike should still be operating.

Recently, my fiance ordered some products from them AND paid for shipping and handling to be expedited. She kept checking the tracking number and never saw any action other than your order was received. 5 DAYS LATER she asked me if I could help her in locating her package. I looked and told her that House of Beauty received it but that's it, no tracking number, no shipping date, nor no order was shipped. She called them and they put her on hold for 10 mins and finally came back on and then the conversation ended. I asked her what was said and she told me that they said that they are waiting on a product to be shipped from the warehouse and then they will send out her order.

Of course, I told her to call back, give her info and let me speak to them. Again, they picked up and said "hold on" then placed her on hold for 10 minutes. After giving her info, she gave me the phone to intervene. I asked the girl her name, which sounded like a lie and I told her that the conversation is being recorded in which she said was "ok". I asked what was going on with the order and she told me the same bs. So, I asked
"Where on your website does it say that these products are coming from a third party/"warehouse"?" She said that it didn't. BS!

Ok, I asked "How are customers to know that you do not have the product just in case they do not want to wait that long and go elsewhere?" She said I just told her on the phone. BS again!

I asked "Again, how are customers to know before hand?" She said sir, I just told you. Face in palm with that shhh.

I said, "Ok, she paid for 2-5 business days to receive her product, its the 5th day and there is absolutely no life on her tracking." She said, You have to allow 7-10 days for processing. I'm not putting my response for this one.

I'm sorry sir, what do you want me to do? She asked. I told her to not patronize me and either refund all of the money or give the money back from the shipping and handling. She said that she couldn't do that because she doesn't have "authorization".

Let me speak to your manager! She's not in! Transfer me to her extension! "She" doesn't have a phone but I can write down your info and give it to her.

I proceeded to ask for her manager and I told her that I will wait because I feel as if the company is a lie, she is a lie, and she's probably working from home because I could have sworn that I heard an ice maker in the background followed by some toenail clippings popping the mic of the phone. She said that "SHE" is not in yet and I will have to call back but probably wont get to speak to her.

I got frustrated and she said, Sir sir I don't have time to be on the phone with you. I said, "I am a customer, and even though I don't agree with the "customer is always right" motto, I do feel like a customer should walk away feeling optimistic at least about the conversation if nothing else. We are not about to hang up without clarification."

She said that we will not have to pay shipping and handling. I told her to notate the account and send us an email stating so for future reference. She said ok and put me on hold for 30 mins.

I then used my cellphone to call in while on hold with my fiance's phone. Another female answered sounding the same as the previous one. I asked for her name and was given a different name. I then told her the situation. She told me that the girl was on the phone with another customer. I told her that she still has me on hold. She told me oh no wait, I think that she went to ask about you order. So, I said that I'll play them at their own game. I asked to speak to the manager and she said "he" has been in a meeting all day. I said that I thought that your manager was female and she said no. So, I said before I go, is there anything notated on the account and she said no but she will notate that we are not to pay shipping. At the end, we paid shipping with a note delivered with an incomplete order stating that not all of the items were shipped. No refund, discount, a lot of lies and frustration. THIS IS GOING TO THE FTC!

Slow, unresponsive, and unprofessional
My experience was terrible from the start. First, I got two confirmation emails, one with the discounted price that I used with a promo code and the other full price. It turned out I had been charged full price. Took several days to reach someone at customer service. No one answers when you call and the email response took forever. I even got multiple emails back from different people after like a week of it having been resolved; clearly, there is a lack of organization and communication in the customer service department.

And to top it off, it took 9 days to receive a tracking number and for my item to actually ship. I had finally gotten through to customer service, and the only way to receive a concrete response was to threaten to cancel my order. The rep was quick to help but not friendly or apologetic whatsoever.

Never ordering from this site again. Don't bother with them.

Scammers, Fake, terrible customer service
I first placed my order from this website over 3 weeks ago. I got an email that my order was successfully placed. After two days i got an email saying my order was being processed and that it would take 2-4 business days to ship. After about a week i still hadn't received a shipment email. I then noticed on their website it said processing would take 8-14 business days. Which is fine i completely understand things are taking longer due to the pandemic i just don't understand why it didn't say that in the processing email. I decided to wait longer. And after two weeks of waiting i still hadnt received a shipment email so i decided to contact them. I emailed them asking about what was going with my package. I was patient and waited a few days to receive a reply from them but i never did. So i continued to contact them. Up to this day i've sent them 6 emails and i haven't gotten a reply to none of them. Seeing as how House of Beauty were ignoring my emails i decided to call them with the number they provided in the email from when i first placed my order. When i called no one picked up, instead it said the number was "unavailable." Which is absolutely RIDICULOUS and UNACCEPTABLE, because in the email they send you when you first place your order it says their customer service team is available monday-friday from 9am-6pm which is within the day and time that i tried to call them. This just all comes to show that this company is fake, and are just scammers trying to steal your money, once you place your order they'll charge you and you'll never hear from them again. Please SAVE YOUR MONEY and order from a trusted company such as sally beauty, which is where i will continue to order from now on. This was my first time ordering from this place definitely my last. I tried to ask for a refund but as i said i never heard back from them so i've currently contacted my bank to file a dispute and get my money back. For those of you who are trying to get a refund from this company save your time as they will completely ignore you and contact your bank instead. I should've ordered from sally beauty instead. This is my fault for not reading the reviews about this company before placing an order so i hope those reading this learn from this experience.

Horrible customer service... go elsewhere! They won't help you!
I have been a long time customer of this company, however House of Beauty sent me a wrong item on my last order. When I notified them about the wrong item, it took several emails to get a response, then they asked for a picture of the item I received, then several more emails to get a response, then they said they were waiting on the shipping department to contact them to verify this, then several more of my emails went without response. I've asked them why they can't pick up the phone and get this resolved with someone in the shipping department, but they won't answer my emails! Now I'm posting a bad review as this has gone on for 5 weeks! Totally unacceptable since the item I didn't receive was less than $6. It won't break their bank. I've been a customer of their's for several years... no longer! Next call is to my credit card company to place a complaint! There are plenty of other places that sell beauty products, so take your business elsewhere. I hope the executive management reads this and fires whoever is the person that is handling their returns emails! I know I would as losing a customer and getting bad press over $6 would not be worth it if this were my company!

I purchased some American Crew from this site on the 11. 11. 14, today is the 11. 01. 15. It has been two months and i still have not received the good's i purchased.

I can understand that sometimes shipments can take a little longer then usual but what i have found to be even more disappointing is the complete lack of customer service.

I have sent HouseofBeautyworld.com three emails (on the 23. 12. 14,01. 01. 15 and 08. 01. 15) to find out what has happened to my order and i have received no replies from them. It's almost like there is no one working in their "customer service" dept.

I am starting to think the reason why their prices are so cheap is because House of Beauty never deliver any products in the first place.

Please let my $170 loss be a lesson for other people. YES the prices are too good to be true! DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

Would NOT recommend House of Beauty World
Ordered a Lava Tech Bonnet Dryer from House of Beauty World on December 22,2019 with shipping promised within 3-7 days. Received it on January 2nd, 2020, where the shipping box was in good condition but the bonnet dryer's bottom section was completely shattered & pulverized (when I lifted the item out of the box, plumes of heavy dust infiltrated the air & I started coughing violently)! House of Beauty had also opened the manufacturer's box where the bonnet dryer was contained & stuffed other smaller items ordered within, so that this supposedly new item arrived with unsealed, open packaging. All the items shipped were covered with the same dust from the damaged & unusable hair dryer.
I had already emailed House of Beauty with several questions (using their website email for customer service) and NEVER heard back either time. Then I submitted another email with multiple pictures to document the damaged merchandise they shipped to me and no response. I also tried to call multiple times during business hours and no one answered the phones. I ended up having to turn it over to my credit card company for a dispute of charges since they failed at all levels as a company. Would NOT recommend doing business with this company. The photos show the top of the bonnet dryer and the next picture shows the bottom of the bonnet dryer cracked and shattered and lastly a picture that shows dust particles and plastic bits from dryer bottom that had shattered off from the bottom section of hair dryer making it unusable.
